#PROLOGUE

Long ago before the coming of civilization, There lived 5 great nations which were the Humans, Vampires, Werewolves 🐺, Witches and lastly the Goblins.. They all lived in perfect harmony and worked together as one, but unfortunately all good things came to an end when one Goblin 👺 named Omhigan, desired power and wanted to rule all this nations.

After filling his people’s head with his poisonous ideas, they too followed him and began to attack other nations, The Goblins were creatures who had the ability to control and produce fire at will, so Omhigan combined his people’s magic powers and created a weapon called ” Burning Star” What which had the devastating power of Cataclysm, a power so destructive it destroyed the entire nations in one sweep.. But the creation of the “Burning star ” came with a heavy price and that was the lives of his own people, immediately the Cataclysm was activated his people were gone as well.

The Survivors of the Cataclysm united and defeated Omhigan once and of all and that was how the Goblin nation became extinct and peace had returned at last. But hundreds of years after The Great war, The nations started fighting amongst themselves and they were divided, many lives and clans were lost as result of this conflict .. The nations that fought bitterly with each other were the vampires and the werewolves, who massacred each other for hundreds of years..
Almost on the brink of Extinction, One Wizard named Orlando, suggested a peace treaty between them and offered a solution which might unite them once again and that solution was the creation of school were every nation would attend and socialize with one another, Everyone agreed except the Vampires and werewolves who still hated each other so much.. Tired of the mass killings they too finally agreed to the peace treaty but they still hated each other… Along the line, something happened that led to the discovery of a long hidden secret that would change the lives of everyone forever……….

Being a vampire can be sure tiring and exhausting.. What’s the use of having powers if you don’t use them.. Oh sorry…. My name’s Gwendolyn rom-nov, daughter of Derrick rom-nov.. Our family is one of the most influential and feared families in the vampire clan,… The vampire clan has 4 families that rivalled each other for power and control, not through conflict but through politics . They are :

– Lionheart family

– Kraken family

– Wallenstein family

– and lastly the rom-nov family which is us.

Don’t let the name fool you… I’m fully American but our family has ties with Russia so…. Anyways as I was saying, these are the four families that each have power and influence in the vampire clan, although there was one vampire family called the Dracs, they were descendants of the famous legendary vampire, Count Dracula. They used to be the most power vampire family but now they’re no more, they went into extinction due to their vicious conflict with their sworn enemy which was the Hellsing family of the human race, They fought and fought and fought until both parties wiped each other out, but that was hundreds of years ago.

I have to admit though there are times when being a vampire is fun, cause there’s a lot of advantages…

-First there’s the immortality.

-Second is the use of little magic, such as brainwashing and transform or bending the elements.

-Lastlly, there’s the super strength, hearing, healing and best of all speed.

But despite this qualities, There are some few setbacks. The problem with us vampire is that we tend to make foolish and stupid rules that tends to dull one’s life.. And the worst part is we have this obnoxious pride pretending we’re better and more civilized than everyone..
Other nations have their own rules but that doesn’t stop them from enjoying the good things in life.. Every day I would watch the other clans with jealousy in my eyes seeing how much fun they are having with their lives.
My father Derrick who’s nothing more than a bore suggested that anything fun was just a waste of time and potential, Even my siblings too agreed to this stupid ideology and followed every stupid rule that was laid down by my father , I was the only one different in the house and then I began to regret why I was born into this ridiculous family. It would surprise you to know the rules That we vampires are forced to follow.

-The first rule was no Vampire should socialize with anyone except for their kind but this rule didn’t last, cause it was canceled.

– The second rule was no Vampire should be seen helping beings from other nations. Whether financially or through any other means.

– The third rule was no vampire shall be allowed to marry who they choose, except those that are chosen by their parents. How lame is that?

There were so many lame rules that I just couldn’t tolerate them but there was one rule that was taken very seriously and that rule was avoiding contact with the werewolves.. Anyone who broke this rule would be punished and as such will be banished from the Vampire nation.
To be honest, I never considered taken this rule seriously, Why can’t we just make up and settle our differences with the werewolves, it’s been so many years now and we’re still hating each other, other nations have settled their biffs and they’re progressing, why can’t we do the same?
I’ve heard stories of some Vampires and werewolves who had rom-ntic relationsh¡ps but nothing was ever heard from them ever again, in fact they were either missing or have disappeared without a trace.
Many times I’ve tried to bring up this idea of werewolves and us settling our affairs but I was too scared to do that, so I kept my mouth shut so that I wouldn’t get into trouble, but the one thing I didn’t do was follow those stupid rules, So before my 18th birthday I began to break all those stupid rules with the exception of Werewolf rule, while my siblings were making their lives miserable and boring, I was out there living the good life.
Life is short and I intended to live it to the fullest and speaking of Life, the maturation age of a Vampire is quite complicated.
We grow and develop like other creatures but unlike them, we don’t age too fast.. The witches and werewolves too don’t age drastically like the humans, They too take time before they grow older.. Like for instance, I look like any 20 year old human female but I’m actually 150 years of age and most of my friends now are either very old or dead, I’ve had countless human friends in the past but now they’re all dead, all I see is their great grand children, so I decided to stop befriend humans but be socializing with Witches.

My Friend Emma is a witch and she’s 120 years old, we met back in World war 1 and we’ve been BBFS ever since.
Emma is an Elemental witch, she has the ability to control the four elements but what’s more fun about her is that she’s cool and she loves to party any time and any place.. So as the years passed, she and I would hang out and have fun together, we even had more fun when we were both enrolled in the famous school which is *School of the Super-naturals*, It was founded by the great wizard, Orlando who lives even up to this present day. He was considered as a hero for creating this academic pillar and if it wasn’t for him, The nations would have killed themselves long ago.
Emma and I spent our exciting moments in this school and we’ve great times and worst times together but the best part was our friendsh¡p remained strong.
The School of Super-naturals wasn’t just a school for all the nations, it was a place where we could communicate and hang out, we learn so much from each other but that is not always the case cause even in the school, My kind and the werewolves still biff with each other but Thankfully violence wasn’t tolerated in the school and anyone who fought would be dealt with by the disciplinary council.
But still the school is the a great s₱0t for everyone, it has great layouts , The best academic scholars and of course the best extracurricular activities, In the end everyone has fun and a really good time.
For centuries the school has been a Pillar of progress and wisdom, Some even consider it as a Sacred shrine but then everything began to change the moment I got into my final year.

On the morning of my first day as a senior student , I was still in bed sleeping peacefully. Then all of a sudden, I was awoken by my annoying little brother, Jake.. He always transforms into a bat and shrieks into my ear whenever I’m sleeping late .

SKRIEK!!!

I woke up abruptly thinking something had happened but when I saw it was Jake, I became really mad!

Gwen ➡ Jake!!! For the last time stop scre-ming in my ear, My eardrums are very delicate, Do you want me to kill you?
.

Jake ➡ Wake up, you wasted worm! You’ll be late for your first day as a senior student!
.

Gwen ➡ Whatever, I need to sleep!
.

Jake ➡ I’ll scre-m in your ear again..
.

Gwen ➡ If you do that… I’m going to twist your neck… LEAVE MY ROOM NOW!
.

Jake ➡ Whatever, b-tch!
.

Gwen ➡ What did you just say?
.

Jake ➡ You heard me, wh-re.
.

I jumped out of my bed rushing straight towards my brother, the little rascal quickly transformed into his normal self and took off with lightning speed, I chase him all around the house but the little pig was too fast.. In that moment, we both ran into our father, who was sipping blood from his small China tea cup.

Derrick ➡ What is the meaning of this?
.

Gwen ➡ This little pig here called me a b-tch.
.

Jake ➡ She’s lying.. She’s mad because I woke her up.
.

Derrick ➡ So you’re still sleeping my this time of the morning huh?
.

Gwen ➡ I.. Well. Kinda.. (F-ck)
.

Derrick ➡ Come with me to my study.. We have a lot to discuss.
.

I sighed and followed my dad to his lame study, as for my brother, he was laughing so hærd behind my back, as I turned around the little f-cker gave me a 🖕 middle finger and disappeared.
As I said earlier my father is a stickler for rules.. He believes so much in them that he made up so many uncool rules in our house and among these rules was waking up early from sleep and if he ever finds out you woke up late or disobey any rule, then he begins to get suspicious and when he gets suspicious, things get really messy.
Seconds later, my father and I arrived into his study, he too his seat and told me to seat down which I did. I had to wait for him to finish sipping his blood before he began to fill my ears with unnecessary talks. After he was done consuming the blood, he dropped the tea cup and looked at me directly in the eyes.

Derrick ➡ Alright Gwen, why were sleeping late? You know waking up late is forbidden in this house.
.

Gwen ➡ Oh my goodness, Dad I’m not a perfect being besides I found out from the humans that getting enough sleep is healthy for one’s body.
.

Derrick ➡ Answer the question Gwen! Why did you wake up late?
.

Gwen ➡ I was having the most wonderful dream 💭 of my life. That’s the reason why.
.

Derrick ➡ Dreams are worthless.
.

Gwen ➡ No, dreams are beautiful.. They’re sometimes premonition for the future.
.

Derrick ➡ (sighs) Why can’t you be like your siblings? It’s undignified for a female vampire to be acting like this. If you keep this up, you’ll never get a suitor and I want you to marry in one of the best vampire homes.
.

Gwen ➡ No way in hell am I going to marry into one of those stuck up boring families. I want to marry someone who knows how to live, someone who knows the finer things in life.
.

Derrick ➡ You disappoint me daughter.. Even your lies aren’t good enough..I know why you slept late last night.. That’s right. You were at a party with that witch friend of yours.. It would be a same for the other vampire families to hear of this.. Do you know the Wallenstein family wants you to be their son’s bride?
.

Gwen ➡ Like I said.. I won’t marry in any of those families. I don’t want my life to be controlled by dumb rules.
.

Derrick ➡ (growls) You stubborn child.. If you were a boy I would have given you a beating.
.

Gwen ➡ Well, it’s a good thing I’m not 😛😝.
.

My father was about to lose his temper when my mother walked in intervening in the matter before it got out of hand.

Alice rom-nov is my mother’s name, she’s from the Lionheart family, but she’s just a distant relative. Just like every other poor female vampire, My parents marriage was just based on arrangement and not of love, but somehow they began to love each other after they got married, My father’s says it’s commitment but to me, it’s just pure luck.

My mother too is a stickler for rules but there are times when she bends them a little and thanks to my dad’s love for her, she gets to wrap him around her little finger and often saves me from being punished, she’s just a lovely woman, It’s a shame she had to end up with a bore like my father.

Alice ➡ Dear.. Please forgive her.
.

Derrick ➡ Don’t interfere now my love.. This girl deserves to be taught a lesson.
.

Gwen ➡ I’m a lady not a girl.
.

Alice ➡ Hush Girl.. Please my love.. Do it for me huh? Let her go.. You know how crazy youths are.. She’ll change, just give her time.
.

Derrick ➡ I hope so.
.

After that, My father dashed out of the room leaving me and my daughter behind, after sensing my father was out of earshot, My mom began to scold me.
.

Alice ➡ Why do you like getting under your father’s skin?? Why can’t you obey his rules just for once.
.

Gwen ➡ That’s the problem mom. His rules are lame. I want to live my life the way I want to.
.

Alice ➡ Quiet girl! You’re not getting any younger and you’ve reached the age of marriage.
.

Gwen ➡ Marriage!! May the devil forbid it. I won’t get married now. No way.
.

Alice ➡ But there are suitors worthy of you, suitors that will take care of you.
.

Gwen ➡ Oh please Mom.. You’re breaking a lady’s heart here.. All these suitors are no different from dad.. They’re all boring. I want to be with someone I love, someone who’s fun and exciting.
.

Alice ➡ Please you’ll learn to them like I loved your father!
.

Gwen ➡ I doubt it.. I bet they have small d-cks.
.

Alice ➡ What did you just say?
.

Gwen ➡ Nothing!!
.

Alice ➡ You naughty child.. This is what happens when you hang out with those bad friends of yours. They teach you all sorts of vulgar and dirty manners.

Gwen ➡ Please mom.. Look at me.. Take a good look at my magnificent bust.. Body like mine deserves to be handled by a real prime male, not intellectual fools.
.

Alice ➡ (sighs) Begone now.. You won’t want to be late for your first day as a senior student.. Go now!
.

Gwen ➡ Alright mom.. Sheesh.
.

After that, I transformed into a bat and flew straight to the toilet.
40 minutes later, I was finally ready to leave for school, as soon as I came out of the house, My brother Xavier was waiting for me outside.

Gwen ➡ Good morning brother!
.

Xavier ➡ Good morning Gwen! Have you put on your sun protection ring 💍?
.

Gwen ➡ Of course.. Why are you out here?
.

Xavier ➡ Dad instructed me to drive you to school!
.

Gwen ➡ But I can go by myself! I’m a grown woman.
.

Xavier ➡ but not a sensible one, Just get in the car. It’s not like I want to do this either.
.

Gwen ➡ Okay. Fine. Let’s go.
.

Xavier is my older brother and the first born of the family, He doesn’t say much or do much, he’s a detective and spends most of his time working instead of being with family. I can’t blame him though cause our family is boring.
However, Xavier is a perfectionist and a neat freak, He’s always clean and does things perfectly, everything about him is perfection, he could have been a better fashion icon than a detective.
While he was driving me to school, he began to talk to be about my earlier behavior, it seems like mom told him what i did.

Xavier ➡ You did it again huh? Why can’t you do anything right!?
.

Gwen ➡ This is my life Xavier, just leave me alone.
.

Xavier ➡ Your mates are acting maturely and are marrying into influential homes but you’re here goofing off.
.

Gwen ➡ I don’t care about that.. I just want to leave my life.
.

Xavier ➡ (sighs) Mom told me you went our last night to party! You shouldn’t have done that.
.

Gwen ➡ I can’t take care of myself. I’m a vampire.
.

Xavier ➡ I’m afraid that’s not enough.
.

Gwen ➡ What do you mean?
.

Xavier ➡ Didn’t you hear last night news?
.

Gwen ➡ Nooo.. What happened?
.

Xavier ➡ You really need to start acting seriously.. Last night, there was an attack in Queens by an unknown creature, it tore down the national history museum and attacked some human and vampire civilians.
According to the eye witness, they claim the creature is a 12 feet tall werewolf 🐺!

Gwen ➡ 12 feet werewolf!? That’s crazy! Werewolves aren’t that tall.
.

Xavier ➡ Exactly, the eye witnesses said something rather crazy, that it moved really fast like vampire.
.

Gwen ➡ They must be crazy.. We’re the fastest creatures in the world. So what did you conclude?
.

Xavier ➡ Well, there was one problem, there was claw markings everywhere and the cameras could catch the culprit.
.

Gwen ➡ Well then it must have been a vampire! Nobody would believe it’s a werewolf.
.

Xavier ➡ You’re right but whatever the case, you need to stop going out at night. Its not safe anymore. Whoever did this sure cause a lot of damage. Promise me you would quit late night ventures.
.

Gwen ➡ Sure I promise (Yeah right)
.

Xavier ➡ Good… Well, we almost at your school now.
.

Minutes later, we arrived at the front gate at the school, I got down from the car and bade by brother good bye as he drove away.
As I turned around, I saw Emma k-ssing a guy at the front gate, Without looking at road, I crossed absentmindedly trying to get to her but in that very moment, I heard a loud horn blaring at me. As I looked by my right side, A Big truck 🚛 screeched hærd on the road as it headed towards me, Paralyzed by fear and shock, I was unable to move at all.
Suddenly someone pushed me out of the way in the nick of time, before the truck crushed me to death. This little stunt began to draw attention and soon people gathered around, While I was recovering from my shock, A stranger stretched out his hand and looked down at me.
