Here in his mansion, Victor Kraken hosts a small dinner party for his guests, which are the rom-novs, the Wallenstein and lastly the Lionheart. Despite being a small occasion, the party looked so grand and varieties of delicious food and exquisite drinks were being served ; the mouth watering display showed that Victor spared no expenses in org-nizing this family and friends occasion.
As soon as everyone took their seats the food was served to everyone and after that the munching and slurping began. While the majority were having a good time, there were some that were not really excited about this gathering especially Lavinia, Gwen and Leona.
Lavinia who was bored and wasn’t feeling the grove sighs and steers her right finger in,side her glass cup 🍷 of wine. She stares in,side the cup absentmindedly thinking about Tyrese. Her father who notices her mood interrupts her thoughts and inquires if she’s okay, he also tries to start up a conversation between her and Xavier who was just opposite to her.

Victor ➡ Lavinia, Is something wrong? You look so far away.

Lavinia ➡ No father..
.

Victor ➡ Well, Don’t just sit there… I think this is a good time for you and Xavier to catch up for lost time.. Isn’t that right son-in-law?

Xavier ➡ (disinterested) Yes sir..
.

Sitting right next to Xavier is Gwen, who stares at Lavinia intently like a lioness who sees her prey. After hearing about Lavinia’s affair Gwen had developed a hatred for her and was hoping her affair would be exposed to all.
Although Her brother too wasn’t helping matters either cause he had never showed any sign of interest for Lavinia, or displayed any form of love or affection towards her, not to mention his lack of attention over her. While Gwen was staring at Lavinia, she didn’t realize that Leona too was busy staring at her ; She was disgusted by Gwen’s presence and wished she was never here. The physical abuse that Gwen did to her was still fresh in her mind and she swore to make her rival pay in the near future, but what pained her the most was the way Adrian stared at Gwen. She wanted to make him stop but there was nothing she could do.
Although the ladies aren’t the acting weird, Even some of the men too were behaving strangely. Adrian who was 2 seats away opposite Gwen, was busy fixating his sight on her, he was stunned by her beauty and gorgeous new look ; He tried to communicate with her but his efforts were in vain. As for Xavier, He too was on the same page with Lavinia, he wasn’t really enjoying this occasion, the only thing that he yearned for was Petra’s company.

Moments later, Both Lavinia and Gwen excuses themselves from the table to go to the toilet, Adrian too excuses himself and so does Leona. In a blink of an eye, half of the table was des**ted and most of the meals were untouched.

Urgh!!! What a nightmare, What was dad thinking org-nizing this occasion?, the worst part of all this was that he had to invite the rom-novs to our mansion… Why?.
I don’t hate the rom-novs, it’s just that I don’t want to be around Xavier , his presence irks me a lot and I certainly don’t want my father forcing me on him.
To be honest, things weren’t always like this, I used to be obsessed about Xavier a lot and I was also crazy about him, but then I realized my feelings meant nothing to him and he wasn’t even showing any interest in me ; Whenever he came visiting, we would sit down and do nothing, I don’t think we’ve ever had any decent conversation as a couple and to make things worst he was always eager to leave.
I felt heartbroken 💔 and sad, feeling like a failure, All I wanted was to feel wanted but this arrogant b–tard never cared but things eventually turned around for me when I met with Tyrese.
Tyrese and I met in an unexpected circ-mstances which I don’t really like to talk about, I wasn’t interested in him at first but his persistency to get my attention suddenly made me fancy him.
Tyrese was the total opposite of Xavier when it comes to social standards, he was more of a bad boy and a crook but he’s the sweetest guy I’ve ever met.
Despite the heated rivalry of our nations , He still pined for me and showered me with his love and affection. He didn’t even care that about me being a vampire and he didn’t even show the slightest resentment about it.
Before long, He won me over and had me biting out of his fingers, I was so crazy and madly in love with him ; Nothing else mattered to me more than Tyrese, not even Xavier, who was already history and a distant dot in my mind.
What surprised me was the strong and irresistible feeling (LINK) I felt for Tyrese ; I never knew I would develop such feelings for a werewolf but it doesn’t matter, all that matters now is that I have someone that appreciates and loves me in ways that I deserved.

After excusing myself from the dinning table, I headed to the toilet to org-nize myself and keep my emotions in check but just when I thought I was going to be alone, Gwen too decided to enter the toilet as well.
Unlike her brother, Gwen is more of a lively individual and she’s well known for her good friendsh¡p with everyone. Her only problem was that she tends to get into trouble every now and then.
I’ve always admired Gwen and I wish I could be independent and strong willed as her. Despite the troubles she gets herself into, that doesn’t keep her from having fun, it’s obvious she doesn’t follow the rules of our clan and the best part about her is that she doesn’t give a damn.
Although she and I aren’t friends , In fact we barely speak to each other or keep in touch. Having to share the same toilet with her makes me kind of nervous but I maintained my poise.
Moments later, as we were both washing our hands I noticed Gwen staring at me. I really don’t mind people staring at me but hers was a bit more suspicious and annoying.

Lavinia ➡ Is something wrong?

Gwen ➡ What?

Lavinia ➡ Is something wrong? I saw you staring at me. It’s annoying.

Gwen ➡ (laughs) Really? Well, I can say the same thing about you.

Lavinia ➡ What’s that supposed to mean?

Gwen ➡ Tell me.. Do you love my brother?

Lavinia ➡ Why are you asking me that?.. Of course I do.

Gwen ➡ (laughs) Oh you pretentious B–tch. Stop lying!

Lavinia ➡ (shocked) EXCUSE ME!? HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME?

Gwen ➡ Quiet down! Not unless you want your father to know you’re cheating on my brother.

I froze with shock as I heard that, I didn’t want to believe that I was hearing this but it was true but what scared me was the sinister and confident look on Gwen’s face. Her fierce eyes were glaring at me and she had a wicked grin on her face ; There’s no way she knew about my relationsh¡p with Tyrese but even if she did, how did she find out? What’s her angle? I just hope she doesn’t sell me out.

Lavinia ➡ What’s the meaning of this?.. What’s your angle? Are you trying to blackmail me?

Gwen ➡ Geez… Relax.. You’re asking too many questions! Look, I’m not trying to blackmail you.. I don’t find pleasure in tormenting people.. What pisses me off about you is your cowardice.

Lavinia ➡ Cowardice?!?

Gwen ➡ Yeah! You’re so afraid of your father that you can’t tell him about your feelings? I really don’t know what Xavier thinks about you but why cheat on him? If you don’t love him just come out and let everyone know.

Lavinia ➡ You of all people should know that we female vampires can’t reject or disobey the law.. You know the consequences.

Gwen ➡ Heh! I don’t give a damn about the law.. This is my own life and I’m going to be the one to dismantle those laws.

Lavinia ➡ Don’t get too confident. It’s easier said that done.

Gwen ➡ Well, just keep a close eye and see.

Lavinia ➡ Who told you about my secret relationsh¡p?

Gwen ➡ I can’t tell you that, Although I can assure you that your secret is safe with me.

Gwen rom-nov! Urgh!.. Even the mere mention of the name irks me more than tasting a pig’s blood. I wonder what’s so special about that B–tch? She’s nothing but trouble and a disgrace ; But despite all that negativity everyone seems to admire her even still.
Her separation with Adrian was a golden opportunity for me to snag him into my arms and it worked but tonight, I could tell on the look on Adrian’s face that he wanted to woo Gwen back. I should be angry at him but I can’t blame him if he lusts for Gwen, the B–tch is just so good looking and her foxy structure is sure a head turner. So after Adrian excused himself, I too did the same and followed him to where he was going.
The handsome idiot went to the balcony and stood there making comments about Gwen’s look, he didn’t even realize as he kept on talking to himself.

Leona ➡ (annoyed) 😒 Having second thoughts?

Adrian ➡ LEONA!? What are you doing here?

Leona ➡ It doesn’t matter what I’m doing here.. Why were you looking at Gwen!? You’re not supposed to do that!

Adrian ➡ Hey! What I do is none of your business and what’s the harm in looking at her?

Leona ➡ You sicken me. I’m your girlfriend and what’s more, your eyes are only meant for me alone.

Adrian ➡ Quit the drama Leona.. I heard what happened between you and Gilgamesh. You’re playing the field behind my back, so don’t bother me if I’m doing mine.

Leona ➡ Hmph! Don’t think Gwen will give you want she wants.. She’s way over you.

Adrian ➡ Whatever.. Just leave me alone.. I need some time to myself.

Leona ➡ Suit yourself, but just know if you keep behaving this way, you’ll be the loser in the rom-nce game.

After I said that, I went back in,side the mansion and headed straight to the table but before I could get there, I noticed Gwen and her little brother in a corridor arguing over something, I couldn’t get all they said but I heard the little one saying ” If anyone finds out about your secret, you’re finished “.
I was intrigued when I heard that, so I decided to eavesdrop on them and listen to what they were saying but Gwen had already sensed my presence.

Gwen ➡ Eavesdropping B–tch! How low can you get!

Poor Lavinia, she really thought that I was going to rat her out! Well, I’m no snitch that’s for sure.
Although it would be better for her to stop cheating on Xavier and fighting for a independent as a woman rather than cower in fear. It’s a really a shame that women are subjected to these awful rules that makes us suffer mentally and emotionally.
After Lavinia and I were square with each other, I left the bathroom and headed back to the dinning table but before I could get there my little brother Jake intercepted me.
The little twerp stood in front of me looking at me with suspicious eyes, He’s been acting a bit weird for the past 2 days ever since I returned from the woods.

Gwen ➡ Okay you little shit. What’s the meaning of this? Out of my way.
.

Jake ➡ Better watch your mouth traitor.
.

Gwen ➡ What’s that supposed to mean?

Jake ➡ You’re one sly B–tch but your bag of tricks is empty.. You’re in deep shit big sister. I know all about your new boyfriend!

Gwen ➡ WHAT!? HOW?

Jake ➡ It doesn’t matter.. I can’t believe you’re dating the enemy. You’re a disgrace.

Despite how shocked I was, I pulled Jake into one corridor to make a deal with him. I really don’t know how he knew about Arthur but knowing this information makes him dangerous and also puts his life in danger.
As soon as we got to the corridor, I checked the place to see if there was anyone lurking by.

Jake ➡ Hey! Let go of me.. I’ll scre-m.

Gwen ➡ Do that and I’ll drain every ounce of blood from your body.

Jake ➡ Your threats mean nothing to me! I still got the upper hand over you.

Gwen ➡ Oh please… The council are the ones that are wrong! They and everyone have been blinded by the truth.

Jake ➡ You really think anyone is going to believe you without proof.

Gwen ➡ I’m not joking around… if anyone knows about this, our families lives are in danger. So answer my damn question!

Jake ➡ Heartless.. Really? You’re the one that is heartless.. You don’t care about the consequences of your actions, you just do what pleases you.
I had to think about this for 2 days wondering if I should expose you to father and now I’m here trying to spare you from being punish and you take me lightly?
Do you have any idea how terrified I was when your boyfriend caught me in my bat form? He could crushed me to death but then he let me go. His actions surprised me and that’s the reason why I decided not to rat you out.. So it’s better you dance to my tune or I swear I’m going to make your life miserable… Your choice.

Jake’s voice had a serious tone and I realized the little ant wasn’t kidding, I really don’t mind if he rats me out but a lot of bad things is going to happen and the people I care about will be the ones to suffer and pay for it… I can’t let this happen.

Gwen ➡ Okay, okay… Fine. What do you want?
.

Jake ➡ I want to be involved in this struggle!
.

Gwen ➡ What!?

Jake ➡ I want to join you.
.

Gwen ➡ Hell no! There’s no way I’m letting you join.

Jake ➡ I’m not asking.. I’M DEMANDING! your opinion doesn’t really matter.

Gwen ➡ Listen.. This is dangerous! You could get killed.

Jake ➡ Whatever… Look, this struggle of yours is a game changer, It’s going to change the world 🌏 and if things go according to plan, We’ll be famous and our names will be immortal. I want the glory.

Gwen ➡ I can’t believe you… Fine, you’re in but don’t do anything stupid! Are you sure about this?

Jake ➡ Sure. What’s the plan?

Gwen ➡ There is no plan.. Not yet.

Jake ➡ What? There’s no plan.

Gwen ➡ You heard me.. Now stay put and keep your l-ips sealed.

Jake ➡ The same goes for you, You tend to be a jinx so better watch your step cause if anyone finds out about your secret, you’re finished.

Before I could finish my statement, I felt Leona’s aura lurking around outside the corridor, I soon realized that she was trying eavesdrop on me and Jake but I quickly lashed out on her..

Gwen ➡ Eavesdropping B–tch! How low can you get!

Leona ➡ Who are you calling B–tch?
.

Gwen ➡ Look Sl-t, I don’t have time for you but if you wanna go right now.. I’ll gladly kick your ski-ny a** again.

Leona ➡ Hmph! Better watch your back Crimson B–tch, my time will come. (Leaves)

Gwen ➡ Awww! Going away so soon? Come back and face me coward!

Jake ➡ Hey! Don’t forget we’re in someone’s house.

Gwen ➡ I know.

Jake ➡ Do you think she over heard us?

Gwen ➡ No.. She didn’t. Let’s go back to the dinning table.

Finding Omhigan was like finding a mouse in a maze, Everything that I needed to know about him had been made clear now all that remained was to find him and end him.

It’s been 2 days since that incident in the woods and I haven’t been in touch with Gwen ; In fact, I’ve been avoiding her in school by going home early.
I’ve lost count of how many times she’s called me, I had to switch off my phone most of the times in order to get some peace. My actions towards Gwen aren’t personal and she still means a lot to me but I needed some space to focus on my prey.

One night, I was walking around in the streets of Queens aimlessly and alone, I couldn’t stay at the house, not after finding out about Petra’s secret affair. She and I haven’t talked much since then and I’ve been trying my best to avoid having a conversation with her.
While I was passing through a burger shop 🍔, I collided with the mage I met when I first came to New-york. She looked more good looking than the day we first met.

Melina ➡ Hey.. How’ve you been? It’s been a while.

Arthur ➡ Indeed it has.. I never got your name.

After that, I esc-rted Melina back to her house, we walked side by side talking about the things that’s happened to us since we parted ways ; I only told her about job and my relationsh¡p with Gwen leaving out the Wolfire part of myself.
Minutes later, we arrived at her place and stood by the door 🚪talking some more before we parted ways ; But before we could round up over conversation, we got an unexpected interruption.
