Pandora’s revelation brightened our ignorant minds in ways we could never imagine. All those mysteries that was so hærd and confusing to untwist was easily unraveled that faithful evening.
Gwen was truly brave to handle all of this despite how incredible it seemed. She had no one to count on except for that freak of nature and she also knew the risk of withholding such information but still she wasn’t afraid till the very end when her very doom was nearly sealed.
How I wish she was here in person so that I could apologize to her and admit to her that we were all wrong for casting her out. Its a shame that even I her own brother couldn’t believe her until now. Gwen had sure sacrificed a lot to shoulder this heavy burden but now she won’t be alone in this struggle.
After Pandora was done with her revelation, she disappeared leaving all of us in a state of shock and wonder. We all knew what we had to do and It was obvious that the next step we take will be tough or life threatening but still we had to act and join forces to let the others know about the Goblin living amongst us.

Tyrese ➡ Damn! That’s really tight.

Jake ➡ So what now?

Gilgamesh ➡ Well, for starters we have to join forces and expose Omhigan ; once we have him, we’ll expose him to the world.

Xavier ➡ No.. That’s nothing but a waste of time. We need to tell the others. They have to know.

Emma ➡ That’s risky. We don’t know who Omhigan is.

Gilgamesh ➡ And if we announce it in public, it will only worsen the situation.

Xavier ➡ I never said anything about going public and I don’t care how risky it is. If we don’t act now. We’re all doomed, time isn’t really on our side now, so we must act fast.

Tyrese ➡ So what are we going to do?

Xavier ➡ I have a plan. First we need to org-nize a secret meeting by inviting the 3 clans only. The vampires, wizards and werewolves.

Lavinia ➡ Are we to invite all of them?

Xavier ➡ Not all of them. Just the influential and powerful ones. Tyrese, invite your brother and some of his council to join us, I’ll invite all the heads of the vampire family and the head of the council, Gilgamesh you should also invite the wizardry council as well.

Tyrese ➡ So once we do all that what happens?

Jake ➡ We’ll tell them everything.

Lavinia ➡ That’s insane. Besides who’s going to do the talking?

Xavier ➡ I’ll do it.

Everyone looked at me in shock as I said that, they couldn’t believe that I was going to do something this crazy but still someone had to do it.

Emma ➡ Xavier.. No! You can’t.

Lavinia ➡ Yeah, do you have any idea what they’ll do to you? We don’t even know if they’ll believe us. There has to be another way.

Tyrese ➡ Why are you going so soft on him all of a sudden? Should I be worried?

Lavinia ➡ Leave me alone Ty.

Gilgamesh ➡ Lavinia is right.. This is too risky.

Xavier ➡ I don’t care. I’ll do it and nothing you say will change my mind.

Tyrese ➡ Tough luck man. That’s a brave move.

Xavier ➡ Shut up!…. As I was saying once the meeting has been org-nized. Gilgamesh and Tyrese, I want you two to do something else.

Tyrese ➡ Which is?

Xavier ➡ I want you to go to TRISCORP and find out anything suspicious. I believe our foe is hiding there.

Tyrese ➡ Okay.. But how do you know that?

Xavier ➡ Just a hunch.

Gilgamesh ➡ Okay, we’ll do it.

Xavier ➡ If possibly i want you guys to start tomorrow. With your magic Gilgamesh you can easily slip through security CAMS and the guards.

Lavinia ➡ What about me? What can I do to help?

Xavier ➡ You stay put. You’re pregnant but you help us keep an eye for anything suspicious.

Lavinia ➡ Okay.

Xavier ➡ Alright guys, let’s get home and remember do not not speak to anyone about this. Just do your jobs and be careful.

Jake ➡ I can help too.

Xavier ➡ No Jake, I can’t let you be involved in this. Things are about to get serious and intense.

Jake ➡ Well, Gwen allowed me to be a part of her team.

Xavier ➡ Gwen isn’t here. I’m in charge now.

Tyrese ➡ (snicker) Really? You vampires are so proud and arrogant, who the hell put you in charge.

Lavinia ➡ What the F–K did you just say? So I’m arrogant huh?

Tyrese ➡ Oops. Sorry babe. It slipped out, I didn’t mean what I said.

Lavinia ➡ Oh you meant every word. It seems that that’s how you’ve been looking at me this wh0le time.

Jake ➡ Enough!!! We have serious matters at hand.

Xavier ➡ Alright everyone, let’s wrap it up. There’s someplace I have to be at this moment.

Jake ➡ And where might that be?

Xavier ➡ None of your business, you little brat. Fly home now and don’t stop at any place.

After that, I took my leave and jumped out of the window ; before my feet could touch the ground, I transformed into a bat and flew straight to Petra’s place.

🐺 PETRA 🐺

The chattering noise and the powerful stench of the antiseptic and blood made me feel very nauseous. The reception room was filled with patients, all with a different anatomical problem that was bothering them but that didn’t stop them from making unnecessary noise.
Here outside the scanning room, I sat quietly together with some pregnant women like me waiting to see the doctor and the kind of baby we’ll be giving birth to. I hated coming to the hospital, it irks me and make me feel very very uncomfortable but which the kind of condition I was in right now, I needed all the medical checkup and advise I could possibly need.

Four months had passed since I stopped talking to Xavier and quiet alot has happened. The first thing that happened was my pregnancy, I wasn’t surprised at all not considering the fact that Xavier and I had s–x countless times without protection. Despite finding out I was pregnant, I never told Xavier ; I wanted to but I couldn’t. I was afraid that he might reject it and abandon me just like he abandoned his sister to face her fate. So since I couldn’t tell Xavier, I was forced to bear this burden alone and it was hærd.
Life was unbearable since my store was destroyed and I had no insurance to cover it up, so I had to go around and look for a job. I managed to get one at MC-donald’s burger 🍔 joint, the payment wasn’t much but it managed to cover almost everything I needed before the baby arrives but my employment didn’t last long. I was soon fired after my stomach began to swell and after I was fired it took me a week before I got another job as a cashier in one of Queen’s departmental store.
Struggling to support myself and the baby felt like hell, I felt alone and angry to the extent that I almost try to abort the baby but I couldn’t bring myself to do that and in moments like this I would think about Arthur and sometimes I wished that he was here to help me out.
Ever since he disappeared with Gwen, I haven’t heard a word from him. It’s very possible that I may never see him again but even if its just for once, I would like to see him and thank him for his services.

Finally, my turn came and I was called into the scanning room by the doctor. As I entered the room, I felt like a test subject that was about to be experimented on. Everything in the room looked very strange to me especially the chair which I laid on as the doctor scanned my big stomach.

Petra ➡ How long is this going to take?

Doctor ➡ Relax, everything will be over soon.
.

Petra ➡ Oh God.
.

Doctor ➡ If I may ask, where’s the father?

Petra ➡ He’s dead.

Doctor ➡ Oh that’s very unfortunate. I’m so sorry.

I looked up and saw some dark images of the child in my womb, It wasn’t fully grown yet but it was moving.

Petra ➡ Is this the..

Doctor ➡ Yes.. That’s your child and it’s a boy.

Petra ➡ A boy?
.

Doctor ➡ Yes a boy. Aren’t you excited?

Petra ➡ Er… Yes.

Doctor ➡ Its a shame the father isn’t here to see this. He would have been proud.

Petra ➡ I doubt it. Are we done here?

Doctor ➡ Yes, just give me a moment to print the images.

While the doctor was busy printing the images, I wore my clothes hurriedly and waited for him. As soon as he was done, I collected the images and left the hospital and went home.
After arriving at my house an hour later, I sat on my couch watching an interesting soap opera while eating chocolate laced donuts 🍩. I had about 2 dozens of chocolate donuts but I managed to finished them all ; after that I decided to exercise a little bit to burn off some calories and to keep myself in shape.
Being pregnant is not easy especially when a woman is alone to bear it. Men don’t have any idea the pain and stress that we go through but still they don’t treat us with the respect we deserve. In that moment, I began to think about Xavier, wondering what he was doing by this time . I began to have awful thoughts about him cheating on me with some prude b–tch, I even had to curse him several times before I could calm myself down.
After the workout , I took a nice warm bath and then went to my bedroom to sleep. While laying on my bed, I began to rub the empty bed s₱0t where Xavier used to fill up. It’s true that I’m mad at him but I also miss him. I wanted to call him and ask him to come over my feminine pride wouldn’t let me. In that moment, I heard a footsteps outside my bedroom. I thought I was hearing things but then the footsteps got louder and closer. Suddenly, the footsteps stopped and I saw a shadow underneath the door of my bedroom, then what followed after that was a steady knock.

Petra ➡ Who is it?

I got no reply instead all I could hear was a sigh and silent muttering from the person behind my door. After some seconds, the person revealed his identity.

Xavier. ➡ Petra.. It’s me, Xavier.
.

My heart skipped a beat after that, I didn’t want to believe what I heard but it was true. I soon got out of the bed and stood close to the door resting my head on the wooden frame. I wanted to say something but the words wouldn’t come out.

Xavier ➡ Petra. Open the door. Please.
.

Petra ➡ Four months Xavier. Four months since we last talked or saw each other. Why now?

Xavier ➡ I’m sorry but you said you didn’t want to see me anymore.
.

Petra ➡ I know but I was angry at the time. You should have at least checked on me.

Xavier ➡ I’m sorry love. I truly am.

Petra ➡ What do you want now?

Xavier ➡ I just want to see you. I’ve missed you for so long and I just want us to amend our issues and get back together again. The world hasn’t been the same since that night and I haven’t been myself either. The only comfort I can get now is by seeing your face once again and feeling your touch.

Petra ➡ I don’t know Xavier. I don’t want you to see me, not like this.

Xavier ➡ I don’t care. Just open up. Please.

I stood still as I rested my back on the door contemplating on whether I should open the door or not ; after a while, I opened the door and there he was, the love of my life and father of my unborn child.

Xavier ➡ Yes but we don’t know who or what he looks like. We have to find him but first, the world needs to know the truth.

Xavier ➡ Yes I do but unlike her, I won’t be alone. I have allies that will support me and I also want your support.
