Woke up the next morning by 5:00 am with Sophia still snuggled into my body for warmth…….I kept looking at the ceiling and trying to figure out my plan for today……I had a plan which I couldn’t reveal just yet to anybody……Looking at sophia and making sure she was still fast asleep……I got off the bed and slipped off into the sitting room……There was something I needed to do before any other thing happened today……..walking into the guest room…..i locked the door behind me and flipped the light switch in a sequence of on-off-on………..off-on-off……..As soon as I had finished…..a section of the wall moved retracted to reveal a secret entrance……As the entrance opened I hesitated for a bit before going in…..i ascended down a flight of stairs which led me to a room filled with super computers……yes,you are RIGHT!!!!!This was my base of operations……I breathed in and loved what I perceived,the unmistakable scent of binary codes and algorithms waiting to be made,of keyboards waiting to be tapped and punched,of monitors dying to reveal information,memories of all the cyber fraud committed in this room came flooding as well………….Walking swiftly across the room with the urgency of the unavailability of time,i threw the cloth of the large screen in the middle of the room and plugged the gigantic processing core into the power outlet as the machine buzzed to life quite noiselessly……A big smile swept across my face as the monitor threw light to every corner of the room,”home sweet home”,i muttered under my breath as I pulled out a keyboard drawer and unlocked the 4bit dod encryption which I had used to protect my artificial intelligence from intrusion……..Finally,i was in,i had waited too long for this………There was no time to stick around and enjoy my mastery of the network,I had to do something and quick…….i sent out an encrypted message and immediately it was sent,i unplugged the computer and stole upstairs noiselessly to avoid rousing anybody’s suspicion……..As I ascended,the door slid open and let me out as I watched it shut tight once again……My ingenuity surprised me at times……I unlocked the door and walked out of the room towards the gym but something distracted me…..i found sophia making breakfast in the kitchen unclad with only her robe on……..”seems you haven’t had enough of me this young man”, she said as she turned baring her br-ast and p—y to me……At that moment,my phone rang from the bedroom…….”what the f–k???”,i muttered under my breath as sophia laughed uncontrollably at my er-ct pole…….I ignored her and rushed to the room upstairs…..it was the senator calling……..”meet me up today,dont forget” as the line went dead,he meant business!!!!…….meanwhile I had a duty to please a pretty lady’s booty……I went down stairs and had hot steamy s€× with sophia spreading her legs on the kitchen sink and having her singing incoherent melodies while pounding hærd on her love box……We ate breakfast and took our f-ckfest to the bedroom……..3pm came quite quickly as I loaded the equipment I needed into a briefcase and stole out of the house into a borrowed vehicle…….I drove for a while while wearing a big smile on my face as I remembered how explosive my s€× with sophia had been…..I stopped in front of the senator’s mansion and after verifying their my identification,they let me in and on getting into the senator’s courtyard,i could tell something was going on because I was hearing grunts of pain from his garden lounge…..A security guard surfaced and was now leading me towards the lounge……As I entered,the first thing that caught my eye was a youngman whose facial features were severely bloodied and whose hands were tied behind his back…..I looked closely at him,he had a lot of tattoos…….As he saw me, he started laughing uncontrollably but was soon silenced by a power punch by one of the senator’s guards which threw him to the ground from his kneeling position.The senator was in the lounge and was now walking towards me with a Cuban stick in his hand,”my men raided the warehouse,he was the only survivor,we couldn’t find trigger”……A pang of disappointment crept through me as I had anticipated some action today……something was fishy,why did the senator do this without me??,was he hiding something???,why wasn’t trigger at the warehouse???…..The captured guy had started laughing again and looking up at me,he said while smiling,”my boss thinks your girlfriend is beautiful”……I knew immediately he was referring to either sophia or Alice.Adrenaline and liquid anger pumped through me as I hurled myself towards him,i lifted him up and pinned him against the wall with his legs barely touching the ground,”what are you talking about??”,i yelled at him…..he only smiled and said,”its gonna be too late when you get there”………throwing him down onto the hærd concrete,it suddenly dawned on me,i couldn’t get to sophia and alice both in time…….

As those words left his l-ips,a sudden rage had overtaken me completely and the fact that he had put me into a very difficult situation had worsened the situation and yet there he was on the concrete floor smiling and showing his teeth which were by now covered with blood due to the beatings he had received from the senator’s guards…….something was wrong but I couldn’t get my finger on it just yet……..i lunged for the bastard once more to beat the crap out of him when the senator himself held onto me with all his might stopping me from going any further towards the hostage…..
“Why are you holding me back???”,i shouted at the senator having apparently lost all form of regard in my present state of rage and infuriation…….”calm yourself,cant you see we need him to find out trigger’s location and penultimately,your revenge!!!!!!”,the senator shouted back now looking at me with bloodied eyes as he struggled to stop my muscular frame from advancing towards my prey………He had barely finished speaking when a shrill voice stung my ears with the venom of a viper…It was coming from the bloody fool on the ground,”you know,i’d love to imagine what my boss would do when he gets hold of her…Rape her,give her to the men to rape or even strip her unclad for fun”,he said……I couldn’t take this anymore…….I threw the senator’s guards holding me down off my body and quickly darted to the nearest table from which I pulled an Ak-47 rifle…….”Nooooooo”,the senator shouted as I pointed the rifle towards the idiot on the ground who I guessed by now had realised how volatile I could be ‘cos he had stopped talking and was now yelling copious amounts of pleas into the air……..”Ratatatatatatattatatatatatattaatatatata!!!!!!!!!!! came the devilish metal machine in my hands as I unleashed the fury of dozens of bullets on him………I never let the trigger go until the bullets were exhausted..All I could hear now was a continous “click! Click!! Click!!! Click!!!!…….I threw the rifle down as the senator and his guards stared at me mouth agape…..They dared not interfere in this……it had just gotten personal!!!!!…….I ran towards my vehicle and swerved out of the compound at top speed as I raced towards my house judging from the fact that it was the nearer of the two……….i met with heavy traffic on the way…….I hadn’t expected this at all and right now if I didn’t do something about it…..It was going to downplay the fact that time was of the essence if I was to save two lives at the same time……..My phone was ringing!!!!!,i picked it up and answered,it was sophia,”honey the pool people are here to fix it,how do I get the money to pay them when they are done??”,she asked……pool people!!!????,my suspicion kicked in immediately as I spoke in hushed tones to sophia…..”honey tell them to wait till I get there,am on my way……lock all the doors and windows and make sure you tell them from the balcony after you have locked all the entrances……baby i’ll explain when I get back” as I ended the call……..The traffic wasn’t clearing at all and it was frustrating me……stepping out of the car…..i s₱0tted a young guy on a power bike and walking silently beside him,i pulled him off the power bike amidst protest from both him and others that were stuck in the terrible traffic….shouts of thief thief rent the air as I started up the engine and zoomed off towards my house……I got there five minutes later and parking the bike,i got off and drew my glock pistol from its holster and put on a silencer as I walked briskly into my compound..I could see that sophia had obeyed me nd was now on the balcony above as four or five guys were working on the pool……Walking up to them…..I aimed at them and issued a direct command…..”let me see some i.d or I bury you guys in my backyard now”……They were apparently shocked as they lifted their hands in shock and fumbled out their various identity cards with shaky hands at my sudden threat as tools dropped from their hands….These were no kidnappers,i realised as my hands became weak and the pistol descended lower and lower………..Alice! Alice!! Alice!!! Began recurring in my head….Looking up to the balcony with bloodshot eyes,i said to sophia,”there’s some money on my dresser”…….I didn’t wait for her to reply as I tucked away my pistol and ran towards the power bike……..If anything happened to alice,i would never forgive myself ……

As I darted out of the compound with full speed towards the power bike parked outside,the only thing that kept ringing in my mind was Alice’s safety but in the background,i could hear sophia’s delicate voice calling out to me.”honey what’s wrong???,where are you going???”,she kept on shouting but I wasn’t concentrated on that,the only thing on my mind now was alice’s safety,if anything happened to that innocent girl,i would live the rest of my life in severe guilt and self-hate……the only thing that would be able to calm me down now would be to see alice’s beautiful face smiling back at me and knowing that all was ok with her…….red hot tears of anger stung my eyes……As I made to mount the power bike,i suddenly realised something,i would have to take the same route to get back to alice’s house,the same rout from which I had stolen a power bike,this wasn’t going to be easy at all……..I picked up my phone and called alice’s line and waited for a response,it wasn’t going through!!!!,that was it!!! I was going there no matter what……I kickstarted the bike and zoomed off along the open road not slowing down for anything…..It took only a matter of minutes before I got to the s₱0t where a group of sympathisers were gathered around the confused young man,he looked hopeless……..I drove the powerbike towards the crowd and immediately shouts of “see am,see the thief” rent the air…….As they approached,i pulled my glock pistol and pointed at the angry mob,”dont you f—–g move,if I was a thief,do you think you’d see me again???”,the noised died down as theey retreated …….I got off the bike,beckoned on the boy and pressed the sum of eight thousand naira into his palm…..”This is for your gas”,I said politely as I got into my parked vehicle and swerved off amidst protest from the mob…..I navigated to a clear road and stepped on the accelerator causing the car to jerk forward as it picked up speed…..I took me not longer than ten minutes to get to alice’s house cos I was speeding like a mad man…….Getting there,i pulled my pistol,slammed the car door and ran towards her door,picked up my phone and called her once more……This time the call went through!!!! By now I could hear the phone ringing in,side,she was still in the house or was she????……I didn’t wait for her to pick as I hurled myself at her door which gave way under my muscular frame……I trudged on into the house,my upper arm now bleeding….I saw her seating in the dining looking scared…..obviously something was wrong with her but I didn’t know what it was yet!!!!!….”baby what’s wrong???”,i asked her……….she was now shedding tears…..”greg I love you” she muttered,why was she crying I wondered as I heard footsteps behind me……”baby look out”,she yelled as I felt a heavy blow land on the back of my head……In my anger,i had forgotten to scan the house thoroughly for people and apparently there was someone else in the house…….Everything grew dark as I crashed to the ground…….

There is a saying that at the moment of death your entire life flashes through your eyes and you recount all good and evil deeds altogether to present a reasonable account of either a wasted or an impactful lie……….Am not one to tell lies!!!!,i went through none of that because all flashing through my eyes right now was white incoherent light,it was all the sanity left in me….The white light……..Then the images started flooding my eyes…..I could see trigger laughing at me with someone nearby,yea!!! that was cigaro no doubt…..They were laughing their heads off and pointing down at me……..I didn’t know for a fact if I was dead or alive because I was sure something would be really wrong if cigaro was still alive……..I tried to muster my vocal chord to speak but trying as hærd as I did!!!!!,not a sound left my l-ips……That was when I concluded that I was dead…..I was now bewildered as I could see another figure laughing with them,it was me!!!!!………That was when my eyes snapped open!!!!!! I was still alive!!!!! Thank God!!!!!……..Immediately I opened my eyes…….I reacted to the bright light by lifting my hand towards the source and closing my eyes……was I still unconscious???,The light was too bright!!!!!!……..when I finally mustered enough ability to open my eyes just barely…..I could see a gun clenched tightly in my hand which was now shielding my eyes from the bright light……It was only then the memories started flooding my nervous system…….the informant who had died at my hands,the traffic jam,the power bike,my house,sophia’s scared face,the angry mob,alice’s house and finally the heavy hit on my head…….something was wrong with this wh0le sequence…….Alice wasn’t here…….It was pitch black outside and the light in,side was given by a very bright fluorescent lamp on the table……yea!!!! I remember alice sitting near the fluorescent lamp when I barged in………just then,the reality hit me,whoever had hit me must have taken alice…….”so your finally awake”…….a voice said from across the room……..i looked across the room with strained eyes cos I had a big headache pounding in my head right now and I could s₱0t a built guy who had the same stature as I did……..My eyes weren’t deceiving me!!!……..A broad smile swept across my face as I recognised the face…….He had a remmington .35 calibre pistol clenched in his gloved hands and a cowboy hat perched on his head……..His eyes shone bright as a sinister frown hung on his face…….i looked down to see three bodies strewn across the floor…….finally he broke the silence looming across the room……..”you know I used to think you were my most careful protégé right until now,your coming here alone was a very careless mistake”,he barked at me………I was staring at the floor with my head hung in shame but deep down,i was more than glad to see him……..
