No words could describe the nerve wrecking thoughts racing through my head now as my hands shook repeatedly in fear………commander lescott was barking at his guards downstairs….Apparently he had s₱0tted some flaws in the security detail he had planned for the night……could he have anticipated my coming here tonight????,could he have laid a trap for me here????……A barrage of questions raced through my head for which the answers could not be accessible at this point in time……..gently and slowly,i let down the curtains in the dark room as I made a mental note of how I could escape the house……….”how many guards are on duty”,i heard colonel lescott bark downstairs…….It was only a matter of time before they would discover the missing uniforms………..”there are four of us sir”,the stammering soldier replied…….He was apparently afraid for his job……..”but I can only see three of you here!!!!”,commander lescott retorted as I could hear him pacing around with his boots crushing the loose gravel beneath him into one another……He was a highly intelligent individual and I could tell his mind was putting the pieces together and he did not give a hoot whose job was on the line as long as he caught up with me in particular……….”wey that guy wey I send to call person?????”,he asked his fellow guards in a bid to redeem the very little reputation he had left…….The commander wasn’t pleased at all…….He paced towards the outpost……looking out the window again……I could see him looking steadily at the flower bed…….he reached slowly into the flower bed and pulled out my rumpled clothes which had gotten so as a result of the effort I had made to hide it so well………”why did he haave to be so goddamn smart”,i said cursing under my breath…he looked at the house with eyes burning like coals of fire……”you fools!!!!!”,he cursed……..”blood is in there”,he said pointing to the building….there was no need to stick around now,my cover had been blown…….surely,there was some sort of weapon around here…….I ran my hands over the table for some sort of offensive instrument……….i felt under the table and felt a leather jacket…….knowing the senator fully well,there was no way he would not have a weapon in his office…….I bent down and looked closely at the metal jacket……it was a relic more or less…….a ’95 shemine revolver with gold embroidery………..pulling it from the leather jacket,i spun around to see that the commander and his men had started making their way tactically into the building……by these dudes movements….i could tell they were well trained,this wouldn’t be easy…………I couldn’t test if the gun I held fired at all as I made my way out of the office after removing the army boots I wore to avoid losing the element of surprise………The floor creaked beneath them as they made their way to several sections of the office…….i could hear from the bar area…..I knew quite well that they would be exchanging several hand gestures by now…….el-lobo had drilled me well…….i could see a figure making its way into the bar area in which I was standing…….several thoughts stole into my mind concerning how to get rid of him quietly but something told me that another soldier wasn’t too far away……..just as I was tussling with the dilemma I had found myself in……….i heard some vibrations!!!!!!! With horror written all over my face,i stared at my device,it was shege…….the message read clearly,”we know where you dey”…….the soldier had heard the vibration and was now headed slowly in my direction………I brandished my pistol and pointing it in his direction,i pulled the trigger…….”click”came the pistol as I realized with horror that it was empty……………The noise had further alerted the soldier on my position………..this was gonna be a long night……
i would like to apologise for my on/off posting of episodes,it was due to my work schedule……I promise never to repeat such…..thanks for sticking with me so far
Episode 71*****
Crouching in the darkness,i waited patiently for him to approach,i couldn’t risk being discovered by lescott so if taking this soldiers life would ensure that,i wouldn’t mind doing that to maintain my stealth in this case……I shifted to my side slowly as not to get his attention as he kept moving towards the direction of the click he had heard…….i could see the nozzle of his assault rifle pointed towards him as he moved……I squatted very slowly and removed a couple of cuffs from my pocket and threw them in the opposite direction and as he turned,i brandished a jackknife from my pocket and grabbing him from behind,i lashed out severally and issued several high-powered stabs to his neck as he squeezed the trigger of his rifle and a barrage of gunshots sounded through the house…I stole through the shadows away from the wriggling corpse and hid behind some furniture as I heard army boots thumping forward towards the origin of the gunshots…
From my position,i heard lescott whisper in contempt as he approached……In about a minute the entire soldiers in the building converged at the place where the corpse lay……….one of the soldiers whispered,”he’s dead,he must have lost too much blood from the stab wounds”……..”I told you that imp was dangerous”,the now aggravated commander whispered fiercely at the soldiers…….who was he calling an imp,probably he didn’t know what I would be capable of doing to his entire army………I maintained my crouching position behind the leather couch with the duffel bag over my shoulder and my jackknife clenched tightly in my fist prepared to bring down my next prey……..As I prepared for the next assault,i heard a barrage of gunshots at the gate….someone must be engaging the soldiers downstairs in a gun fight……..commander lescott yelled at his men,”he’s downstairs”…….they practically ran downstairs leaving me to the peace of the pitch-black room……I made my way to the window and opening it slightly,my body quaked as I made a shocking discovery………..it was shege and the entire cospirano elite death squad firing bullets at the soldiers……I knew then that commander lescott wasn’t the worst that could happen to me if I remained here…….creeping down the stairs,i ran towards the embarkment that brought me intto the building…….shit!!! My clothes weren’t there……from where I was standing,three soldiers were down injured as commander lescott was yelling into his walkie-talkie……two minutes from now,this wh0le place would be a gridlock of army personnel…….the only way out of here was through that gate so I knew I had to make the most of it….still wearing my army ensemble with the duffel bag over my shoulder,I pick some camo-paint and smeared it deeply on my face as I ran towards the gunfight and picking up a rifle…..i fired aggressively at shegee and his men…..commander lescott noticed my presence almost immediately and yelled at me,”where are your troops soldier???”as he suspected I would be part of the back up he had called……”will soon be here sir”,i said without looking at him…….that back up better get here quick before they get me into trouble………as soon as I heard shots outside I heaved a sigh of relief and announced,”they’re here sir”…….”A broad smile played along his l-ips as he s₱0tted shege’s men driving away and several army vehicles giving chase………Fear started building up in me as the commander approached me………But he merely patted my back and said in his grumpy tone,”good work soldier” as he disappeared from sight to join one of the army vehicles leaving the compound……..i dropped the rifle immediately he was out of sight…….and throwing off the camouflage I sneaked out through the gate and kept running till I was a considerable distance from the house…….That was way too close!!!!!!
Episode 72*******
I had stopped running now as my p-nts grew fainter and gradually my breathing normalized…….i couldn’t believe I had made it within an armslength of commander lescott without being caught……The hair on my back were standing er-ct…….The s-nsation pumping through me right now was orgasmic and could only have being the heavy flow of adrenaline through me which was the sole reason for which I relied on my drug epinephrine but I had not taken any drug for this operation so I was very much loving this feeling………..Adjusting the leather straps of the duffel sack I was carrying……..i started jogging along the hærd concrete road……..i was gonna reach my hotel one way or the other and I couldn’t wait to sit down and look at those doc-ments and know what was really going on with this wh0le mind game………I kept running when a black sedan pulled up next to me………the tinted glass rolled down and I could ashley’s s€×y face peering at me……I didn’t know how to react……..”how the hell did you find me?”,i asked with urgency written all over my face………I was still p-nting from the running and jogging so I was talking like a broken record with several pauses and plays………”shut up and get in the car”…….ashley shouted at me………Ashley must know something that I didn’t and that fact alonee got me considering her offer…My curiosity above other Things pushed me to get into the vehicle and I did as she drove off at top speed….”Are you gonna tell me what’s going on ash????”….i asked now getting angry at her prolonged silence………”oh!!! Your gonna find out soon enough” she said with tears streaming from her eyes as she zoomed towards the hotel……With the look in her eyes,i could tell something was really wrong……..We reached the hotel in less than five minutes because of the way she sped and weaved through the traffic all the while with tears streaming down her face………I was really perplexed which made explaining what was happening in her mind very difficult to predict or understand…….All of my being right now revolved around finding out what was going on in,side her head……..we pulled up at the hotel entrance and she threw her cars at the hotel valet as she pulled me by my arm towards my hotel room…….
“Hey,slow down……what’s going on with you????”,i asked as we entered the room corridor……pulling a gun,she pointed it to my face and shouted,”open this room now”…….It dawned on me that she was dead serious……I could see how fast her blood was pumping by monitoring the rise and fall of her jugular vein………A wrong move and she may mistakenly pull the trigger….As I reached for my key card and made to open the door,there was only one thing on my mind,i had to disarm her and know what was going in her mind…….she nudged me on into the room using her weapon and once we were in the room,she ripped the duffel sack from my back and flinging it’s contents on the floor,she intensified her tears…….”how could you???”,she asked with her eyes now blood shot and pouring tears…….”you killed him for his money and you were pretending all this while,how wicked can you be???”……..
“What are you talking about????” I asked obviously shocked……………….”senator Collins was my father!!!!!!”,she yelled as I stared at her with my mouth wide agape………
