CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE & SIX : JOURNEY TO THE PILLAR OF STRENGTH
Alexander exhale, remaining seated while Giles and cash lecture him on what they thought is right ” what the hell Alexander, you just lost the crown to that prick Norman ”
” you are stronger” cash growl ” why the f-ck did you do such a thing, are you sick in the head or something related to that ”
” don’t cross the line cash ” shooting both of them glares I stand to my feet and out of the little hut Giles could find for us.
” I can’t believe am out in hiding” cash cry ” this is happening to me!!!”
” shut up cash!” Growling I look at them ” where is the royal seal” Giles hand it over to me and I grin ” arrange the horses, we are moving to Elmer palace”
” to do what exactly ” Giles ask and I smile
” I have some important discussion I need to discuss, it will surly destroy Norman preparation for this coming war.

The sounds of our horse footsteps was enough to alert the men standing at the gates of Elmer palace, also called the pillar of strength, I have always thought that the name was ridiculous and still do.
“Open the gate for lord Alexander!!!!!” Someone in the kingdom scre-m before the gates open, hitting my horse we rush into the kingdom, not stopping nor wishing to.
People run from our way till we arrive in the palace, the gates open and am in, jumping off my horse I place my hand behind me and start walking in, Giles and cash behind me ” lord Elmer is in the study room, wait here while I inform him that you are here ”
Nodding my head I watch the Elmer loyal right hand man leave, standing in the hallway I look round the place, all the beautiful statues, the fake water fall, servants walking by and mumbling.
My gaze drop in a particular princess who is being esc-rted by her maids, long curly red hair, beautiful green eyes, pointed nose, and a blushing face.
In an instant I know she likes me, the way her eyes keep drifting to me when she think am not looking, she have spend more time around that statue than needed.
Foolish teenagers that fall in love with handsome men, I have eyes only for my silly girl, I can’t believe I haven’t seen her for five days, the journey to this palace took me three days without food or water.
Cash look like he is about to die while Giles still have that smiling expression on his face ” my old friend!!!” Hearing Elmer voice I look at him with a half smile ” long time ”
” I would say you enjoy keeping me out of your life ” mumbling I watch him laugh.
” you were too busy for me to invite you over, you kept traveling to different dimensions ” Elmer smile ” your men must be tired from the long journey ” he clap his hand and three maid hurry to him, head bow ” take this men, bath, feed and treat them well”
” as you wish your Highness ”
Giles and cash didn’t move until I nod for them to, watching them leave my gaze move back to Elmer ” I have something to discuss about but it should be done while eating”
” I see you’re hungry ”
I smile ” starving ”
Arriving in the dinning room I sip the wine placed there while waiting for some food ” I heard Norman won the duel, he is now king ” nodding my head, Elmer look disappointed ” I expected you to win ”
” all is well if it is well for me ” smiling I watch confusion dance in his face” it would have been easy for me to win and then put on the responsibility of winning over this stupid war, all the warriors of that clan are weak, they avoid training, thinking peace will forever rein ” shaking my head I frown” so foolish, how can vampires win over dragons ”
” what’s this plan of yours then”
I said nothing when I notice the maid approaching with my food, dropping it down, I didn’t hesitate to open it and start eating ” how have you been Elmer”changing the topic I watch him frown but answer anyway.
” tough as always”
” still no wife I see ”
” don’t need one ”
” you don’t plan on having an heir?”
Elmer chuckle ” what for, you know fully well I hate children and their noise ” he shake his head at that thought ” what about you Alexander, fallen into a woman trap yet?”
Nodding my head I watch the surprise look he has on his face ” her name is Elia, the most beautiful women I have ever seen”
” intriguing ” Elmer smile ” among the three of us, you have always seem like the one not to fall in love and yet you found love before Norman or me could ”
That’s right, me, Norman and Elmer were friends, the closest of friend, when Norman and I crossed part with hatred and I ran from my kingdom, Elmer took me in, hide me in his room from his father and mother.
Though I didn’t stay long.
” it truly have been a long time Elmer, how many centuries? “Asking, Elmer chuckle
” one thousand ” he frown ” you s-ck at being a friend Alex”
” was in a quest of power, surely it wasn’t easy” I reply ” you didn’t keep in touch either Elmer ”
Using the cloth I clean my mouth, drink some water then exhale ” I need you to refuse help”
” what do you mean ”
” Norman will send you a letter asking for your help in the war, wishing for you to send men to him but I need you to decline that offer ”
” why will I do that ” Elmer furrow his brows ” you hate Norman but I don’t hate him ”
” even after knowing he slept with your mother, ruining your family ” I mumble, Elmer face remain expressionless ” why, are you going to pretend it never happen and continue being a nice friend ”
” if I don’t send help, people will die ”
” that’s inevitable” I shrug” people will die but for my plans to move smoothly a lot of people will die, for a kingdom to grow stronger risks have to be taken, deaths will occur”
” hmmm” Elmer gaze did not bulge from my face ” what do I gain from all these?”
” whatever you wish for, it must be something I can do of course ” smiling a messenger move into the dinning room.
” your Highness, a royal message from the kingdom of red dragons, the red tribe” Elmer gaze meet my face, I knew that bastard will ask for help, that’s all what he is good at, asking for help.
But he never knew am a step ahead of him.
