” help me with what?” Not knowing what to say I bite my lower lip while he chuckle ” so silly, do you ever change Elia” he put on his trouser, zip it up carefully then the shirt follow.

” do you want me to change” I ask furrowing my brow.

” yes seriously” looking at the mirror I brush my hair before tying it into a high ponytail, I put on a black short and blue long sleeves shirt then roll up the sleeves a little.

” if you are seen dress this way you will be called, indecent”

” why is that?” I look at brook and she shrug while standing up and walking behind me.

” ladies are meant to wear only dresses, nothing else ”

When we walk out of the palace my gaze met the queen and I bow my head” your Highness ”

Lifting my head I smile ” am really grateful for the hospitality you have shown to us, you really did help…I will forever be grateful ” Delia move closer to my direction.

” i did the best i can Elia” she smile before saying more ” I try making Sebastian to stay but he said his loyalty lays with you, after this war he promise to return to me and I have only two favour to ask from you ”

” when he decide to return please do not stop him and I was hoping if you will help me in sending off other women who might find him handsome ”

Smiling I nod ” I will do as you wish”

” thank you Elia” she hug me, surprising me totally, I never expected a hug from her ” thank you so much ” from all what I have learnt, I know that Delia love Sebastian, she might have been waiting for a long time for him to come back to her but now he is ghost.

Their love story will be interesting to hear about later.

” Elia, hurry up ” vix yell, gaining my attention and I frown, I always forget about him.

” have to go Delia, once again thanks” waving at her, I run towards Alexander horse, he help me on it, him sitting behind me, brook turn back into a book and fall on my lap, smiling I put it in my bag.

” where to milady?” Sebastian ask and I mumble

” the dark forest ”

Lucian stop his horse the moment he arrive in the palace of the witches layer, Elia should be waiting here for him, it took him a wh0le night to think about such a decision, the war is in two days time, if I can see Elia before then, am sure I will be strengthen to fight ” my lord” Zulu voice fill with confusion ” why aren’t we asking audience with the queen?”

” always impatient ” smiling I look at her ” come, let’s go and ask for one” Zulu nod and then jump off her horse, so did I, a ranch man run towards us and then collect the horse from us.

Moving towards the place, I stop when the butler step out ” we will like to speak with the queen ” mumbling the butler nod his head.

Walking behind the butler my anticipation build up, how long has it been that I haven’t seen her face, its been months, months of longing, if only she know I can do anything for her.

If am to find her now, am not letting her go, whether she wants it or not ” your Highness ” I mumble the moment we step into the throne room, bowing my head for some minutes I lift it up ” I I’ve come seeking my companion who took refuge under your palace ”

” what is the name of this companion you seek?”

” Elia, I believe she travel with two other men ”

” you must be mistaken ” the queen title her head to her left ” the woman you speak of just left with her lover, Alexander the fifth ”

” we are late” Zulu voice fill with sadness, sadness we couldn’t make it in time, once again am late in getting her, why do Alexander always get her first.

” thanks for your time your Highness ” smiling I mumble ” I will take my leave” turning around the smile vanish from my l-ips.

I don’t mind brain washing her for the second time, the next time we meet I won’t hesitate to do that to her, if the only way to have her is to clean her memory of Alexander then I will do it.
