Alexander gaze move back to an annoyed Elia ” why the hell are you here” I couldn’t help to get annoyed ” what if something bad happened to you, this is a battle ”
” a battle that all your enemy are dead, am not weak Alex, I can take care of myself ”
” of course you aren’t weak ” I frown ” how did you get your memory back ?”
” why are you asking” she furrow her brows ” where you even bothered about my memory lost ” I frown, saying nothing else, I know this will lead to a long argument, am about to give her the argument she want but not now and not here.
” Sebastian, take her to the palace”
” am not moving this s₱0t ” exhaling I try calming myself down bit before I could reply her, Lucian shove me aside ” Elia, how did….” Before he could complete his sentence she slap him, leaving me shocked.
” that’s for taking my memories away” she growl while Zulu step forward.
” why will you slap him, he is already injured ”
Lucian shove Zulu away ” stay out of this”
While all these keep happening I remain still, lost in thought, this morning I was prepared for a battle, a real bloodshed but now, couples are fighting in the middle of a war, I do know I have killed all the vampire but this is still wrong and irritating.
” enough !!!” Growling everyone become quite, moving close to Elia, her face is still fill with a frown, averting my gaze from her I stare at Lucian ” this is your last chance Lucian, am only leaving you alive because Zulu begged me, trust me ” I move closer, fear register in his eyes ” if you move closer to my woman again, I swear I will rip your heart out of your body ”
Turning around I throw Elia over my shoulder, she keep struggling, throwing her legs and scre-ming for me to drop her down which I will only do when we arrive in the palace ” shut up!!!”
” drop me right now ”
Putting her on my horse, I quickly sit behind her then hit the horse to start moving before she try jumping off it ” Elia”
” don’t talk to me” she fold her hands, I stare at her back, then count to five and the moment I stop she start blabbering ” you know, if I was weak I won’t be able to summon the courage of meeting you there ”
” you slapped me”
” to show you how angry I am”
” you’re truly silly ” I growl, my anger resurfacing ” no you are stupid and lack sense of reasoning sometimes ”
” excuse me!” Refusing to stop the horse from moving I keep purring ” what if the war was still going on, what if someone came from behind and stab you, do you have any idea what I will pass through if am to lose you!”
” I will be…..”
Cutting her off I growl ” vampire are fast, no way you could have stop it, I told you to wait at home, if you need to get strong, I can train you, I don’t want you endangering yourself, I want you safe ” she said nothing else and I exhale ” am so f-cking mad at you right now ”
” what did I do!!!” She yell ” am just trying to stay beside you in battle, be someone you want, someone that can stand beside you ”
” if I wanted someone strong I would have stick with Zulu ” stopping in the castle I jump off the horse and help her down, holding her hand I pull her to my new chamber, the kings chamber ” this time, you can move all you want” letting go of her hand I walk out of the room, trying to cool my head off.
How can she be so annoying, I know why I said she shouldn’t come, I am fully aware why I asked her to stay still, I can’t bear it if I lose her.
Why doesn’t she feel that way!
Right now I should be in there with her, happy she remembers but she always make things difficult for me, I know I shouldn’t have insulted her, I did wrong saying all those things to her.
” what was I thinking” hitting my head I growl, the sun already going to sleep ” I check the town milord, the citizens are fine, they are trying to gather things up again ” Giles bow his head then lift it ” guess I can’t call you by your name anymore ”
” you can’t ” I chuckle then look at the approaching cash who later slap my back, shooting him a glare he chuckle.
” I don’t think you ever dream of being king ”
Shaking my head I look at the sky” I didn’t, am not planing on becoming a good king either, I will rule the way I see fit and when my parents decide to show up I will make them see how capable I am ”
” you mean they are still alive?” Giles asked and I nod.
” no poison can kill those bastards, they set it all up for me to fight the battle, thinking that when they show up, they will be king and queen again ”
” they won’t?” Cash furrow his brows and I nod.
” if they ever show up again I will kill them myself “turning around I blink, surprise that Elia was about to tap my shoulder, will she slap me because I insulted her, if she want to, I won’t blame her.
” can we talk” her gaze remain low, not meeting my face.
” yea, giles cash…leave ” the moment their footsteps fade away I watch her look up at me, tears seem to be already to fall off them” wait, don’t cry”
” I just wanted to say am sorry ” she sniff ” even though you are so dead for insulting me in such manners I know you were worried” she smile ” the truth is that I know am weak ” she frown then clear her throat” I know am not strong so I don’t need…..” The next thing happening is her vomiting on my favorite rose in the palace.
What did she eat? Damn I love those flowers!
