Kai ran in,side the dorm after seeing the news, searching for ivy but she was nowhere to be found
He called her several times but she wasn’t picking up
“Where in the world is she?” He thought to himself
Ivy sat on the couch at her house with the TV on, the news was all about her
She sniffed back her tears and dialled Rose number but she was not picking up
“Is she busy?” She asked and turned off the TV
“Could it be kai? Why would he do something like that” she thought to herself as tears gathered in her eyes again
“I should go and see him” she said and changed into a lady dress, she put on wig and make up and a face cap to keep her identity a secret
Kai drove to the company, he searched all rooms and office but she wasn’t there
He was about to leave when He heard some workers gossiping behind him
“Have you seen the news? The new member of skyes was a female”
“Really? I knew something was off about him, he doesn’t look masculine”
“I know right, how could a guy be so pretty”
“But I can’t believe she did that because she has a crush on Chris, she is so shameless”
“I know right, who wouldn’t fall in love with Chris? But she took it too far, she is really shameless”
Kai sighed and turned to them
“Do you guys have much time to waste? Why are you here instead of doing job?do you want to get fired?” He scolded and they bowed
“We are sorry kai” they said and ran away
Kai sighed and leaned on the wall when Audrey tapped him
“Kai”
“Ugh? Its you?” He asked and Audrey nod
“Are you okay? I was looking into the person who posted it,the account is for a high school student, Jennie park, but she wasn’t with her phone when it was posted, I guess her account was hacked” Audrey explained
“That’s ridiculous” kai sighed
“By the way, where is Jason? ” Audrey asked
Kai looked up and saw a lady with face cap walking in,side the company
He knew immediately that it was Ivy
He walked to her and drag her outside
“What the hell are you doing at the company? The Reporters will be here in some minutes” Kai said and checked His wristwatch
“Why are you pretending to be nice? The only person who knew about this was you, you always threatened to reveal me to the CEO……”
“So? Are you suspecting me right now” Kai interrupted
“Of course, the only person who knew about this apart from you was my mom and my best friend Rose, they wouldn’t possibly back stab me, you……..”
“So? Are you saying, I was the one who back stabbed you” kai interrupted again
Ivy wiped her tears and looked at him
“You………..are the only one I don’t trust” She said and the reporters arrived
The wind blew her face cap away and one of the Reporters saw her
“What the hell! You look exactly like Jason Aldean” he gasped and they all looked at her
“There she is! That’s Jason aldean” a reporter yelled and they all ran to her
“What do you have to say about the rumours about you?”
“Did you really joined the group because of Chris?”
“What’s your real name, we know your name isn’t Jason”
They kept asking her questions and she was stuck among them
Kai got a text to meet with the CEO
He walked in,side the CEO office and saw him pacing up and down
“Did you know?”
“What?” Kai asked
“That he was a girl?” He asked and kai sighed
“That’s not important right now” he replied
“Why didn’t you tell me!!!” The CEO yelled at him and cooled down later
“Skyes group is in trouble because of her, you guys are all banned from singing or performing at least for now” The CEO said and walked out angrily
Episode 17
Audrey, Chris, Hayden and kai sat in their dorm with complete silence
“I can’t believe the CEO” Hayden said breaking the silence
“This is all Jason’s fault,she joined this group because of Chris and now we are all in trouble” Audrey said and they all looked at Chris
“Chris, I heard the reporters are also after you” Audrey said and Chris sighed
“I wonder if she is okay” Chris said and kai stood up
“Where are you going?” Hayden asked
“I’m going out, we have nothing to do since the CEO banned us from doing anything” He said and walked out
Ivy walked back to her house and collapsed on the couch
She took her phone and dialled Rose number again but she wasn’t picking up
“Is she busy? Even if she is, she should have texted me” she said
The door opened and Rosé entered
“Ivy, are you okay?” Rose said and ran to hug her
“No,I’m not okay……..where have you been?” She asked and Rose smiled
“Don’t worry about that, you must be hungry, I will prepare you pasta” She said and ran to the kitchen
“Now that Rose is here, I feel better” ivy said and Rose phone vibrated
“Rose, seems you have a text” ivy called and unlocked the phone
She was shocked with what she saw
Rose ran back and jerked her phone away from ivy
“What are you doing with my phone!” She said pretty upset
Ivy turned and looked at her
“Did…….. Was it you really you?” She asked as tears gathered in her eyes
“What do you mean?” Rose asked innocently
“Why did you do it?why did you really posted it?” Ivy asked and Rose sighed
“Who are you to unlock my phone, darn…..I should have given it a tight security” Rose said and smirked
“Rose…….you are my best friend, the only friend I have….. How could you……” Ivy’s voice trailed off and Rose scoffed
“Friend? Too bad,I never thought of you as my friend….to me, you are just someone who would be useful as a dog” Rose said
Ivy stared at her with shock
She didn’t believe those words were coming from her friend
She ran out of the house like her hair was on fire
Despite everyone staring at her,she didn’t mind them
She ran to a bridge and stood at the edge
“Not everyone can be trusted, even if the ones you rely and depend on will end up betraying you” she thought to herself
She stared at the water she was going to jump into and sighed
“That’s right……I can’t be humiliated anymore, I should die,once I die,everyone will forget about me” she thought to herself
“Ivy!!” She heard kai’s voice
She turned and saw kai running to her
“Ivy,come down,don’t you dare jump” kai yelled and ivy smiled
“You seems worried about me, even after what I said to you” she said and sighed “I’m sorry for thinking you exposed me” she added
“So….what are you trying to do right now,are you going to jump in,side the river? I never knew you were this dumb, once a scandal about another celebrity arises, you will be forgotten” kai yelled at her
“No…….I don’t think I can be forgotten, I can only be forgotten if I die” she said and kai also climbed the bridge
“What are you doing right now” ivy asked with shock
“If you are going to die,then let’s die together” he said dryly
Episode 18
Ivy and Kai both sat in a restaurant
Ivy just kept staring at the food and Kai sighed
“Aren’t you gonna eat” he asked but got no reply
“You are really driving me crazy, first, you wanted to jump a bridge and die and now you aren’t you eating” Kai said
“I already told you I had no appetite” ivy said
“Were you betrayed?” Kai asked
“If it wasn’t Rose,it would have hurt less but any minute I think about it,my heart feels like it is broken” she said and sniffed back her tears
“Then stop thinking about it” kai said and ivy looked at him
His phone started to ring, he checked the caller ID and it turned out to be his Dad
He ignored it and placed the phone on the table
“Why aren’t you picking up your call” ivy asked him
“Its nothing , I think I have to go now,can you go back yourself?” He said and ivy nod
“Yeah,I can take care of myself, don’t worry about me and go” she said and kai walked out
She also stood up and walked out of the restaurant as she adjusted her face cap so no one would recognise her
She looked up and saw Chris standing from a distance
“Jason” Chris called but she turned to another direction and ran away while Chris ran after her
“Jason wait!!” Chris called after her
“My Name is ivy not Jason” she said still running
Chris ran faster and soon caught up with her
He grabbed her hand and they both stopped running
“Why are you running away?” Chris asked and ivy looked at him p-nting heavily
“Chris…. I….”
“Why are you avoiding me? ” Chris interrupted and moved closer to her
“Did you really joined the group because of me?” He asked but ivy didn’t reply
She only stared at the ground
“Jason, you…..”
“Chris, let’s stop talking about it, its true,I joined skyes group because I like you” she said and ran away
Kai walked home and saw his dad sitting on the couch and his mom on another couch “Dad,what are you doing here?” He asked and his dad smiled
“I came here to say something so little, I heard your group has been banned from doing any sort of entertainment, this is a good opportunity kai” his Dad said and kai smirked
“What are you trying to say?” He asked
“Join my entertainment industry and become a soloist artiste” he said and kai smirked again
“Dad,you know that’s something I won’t do, if that’s all you have to say, I will leave now” he said and turned to leave
“You bastard,have you forgotten, your mom is just a concubine” his Dad said and kai looked at him
“Really? This isn’t this first time you are telling me this …..but dad…..your mom was a concubine too” he said
“You jerk” his Dad yelled and wanted to punch him but his mom stood in the way and got punched instead
Her head hit the glass jog on the table and she started to bleed
“Mom!” Kai called and ran to her
“Mom,are you okay?” He asked and placed her head on his lap
“Kai……kai” his mom called weakly
Kai looked at his Dad who was obviously shocked too
“Mom” kai called again but he noticed she wasn’t breathing
“Mom” he called again as tears gathered in his eyes
