Kai walked to an empty practice room in the company and sat there as he recalled what ivy said to him

“I don’t hit ladies ” he said and sighed

FLASHBACK….

“I want to become a Pop singer too, Dad please allow me ” Kai said and his father scoffed

“Why are you asking me? I told you many times that I won’t allow you ” His dad said and drank his cup of beer.

“Why can’t I? It’s my dream, I have to do it ” Kai half yelled and his father looked at him

“Are you raising your voice at me? I really can’t believe it “his dad smirked and Kai sighed

“I’m sorry, but even if i can’t be a pop singer from your entertainment industry, I will have to go to another entertainment industry ” He said and his father started moving closer to him while he moved back

“What did you just say? What did you just say you are going to do?!! ” his dad yelled and wanted to punch him but his mom stood in the way and got punched instead

“Mom !” Kai called and ran to her

“I’m okay ” she said and his father wanted to punch him again but his mom held his hand

“Stop it! Hit me instead, don’t lay a hand on kai please ” her mom pleaded as tears dripped from her eyes

Chris walked to the practice room saw Kai seated alone

“Why do you like being alone? ” he asked and moved closer to him

“What do you mean Being alone? I came to practice ” he lied and Chris sat beside him

“Whatever. By the way why are you so mean to the new member? He is a nice guy so why are you so cold to him? ” Chris said and Kai scoffed

“Nice guy my foot…. I don’t like her….. I mean him ” he said and Chris smiled

“As expected from you Kai, you are very picky when it comes to liking something ” Chris said and stood up

“Let’s go back to the studio ” he said and Kai shook his head

“You go first, I think I have to go somewhere else ” he said and Chris nod before walking out

Kai drove to his mom’s house and walked in,side with some food

“Mom, I’m here ” he said and his mom ran downstairs to hug him

“my son ” she said with excitement but Kai noticed a scar on her face

“Mom, what happened to your face? ” He asked but his mom smiled

“It’s nothing much , i fell down the stairs two days ago ” she said and kai nod

“I see ” he said and clenched his fist

“Dad has something to do with it ” he thought to himself

“Anyway, are you good to your fiancee Lucy? I really like her so you should be nice to her ” she said and Kai faked a smile

“Of course ” he said

He drove back to the company and saw his father waiting for him

“Why are you here? ” he asked and his dad scoffed

“Let’s talk, follow me ” his dad said and led him to an empty room

“What do you think you are doing right now?! ” his dad asked

“I don’t know what you mean ” Kai replied

‘” I heard you almost hit Lucy yesterday ”

“Is that what she told you? ” Kai asked and glared at his father

“Did you just glare at me ?” his dad yelled and punched him

He fell over the tables and chairs in the room and both his hand and nose started bleeding as he gro-ned in pain

“I’m your father and you have to listen to anything i say ”

“Hit me the way you want, however, don’t you dare lay your hands on my mother ” he said and his dad punched him again

He winced in pain and looked up but he was surprised to see Ivy standing at the door post with her hand shivering

“What the hell is she doing here? ” he thought to himself

Episode 8

“What the hell is she doing here? ” he thought to himself

“Ah…. I’m sorry…. I entered the wrong room ” Ivy stammered and ran away

“What was that? Isn’t that the fifth member of your group? Why is he so feminine? ” Kai’s father scoffed and walked out

Kai went back to the dorm and collapsed on the bed

On his bed, he saw some balms and plaster

“What the hell is this? ” he asked himself

He walked to the garden with the balm and plaster ,he saw ivy sitting alone

“Hey” he called and ivy looked at him then he threw the balm and plaster at her

“What are this for? ” he asked

“Ah….

I wanted to give you this to apply on your wounds but you were not in,side the dorm ” she said and Kai scoffed again

“What wounds? Pretend you didnt see anything earlier ” He said coldly and turned to leave but Ivy stood angrily and folded her arms

“What have i done so wrong this time? I gave them to you so you could apply them on your wounds, why should I pretend i didnt see anything earlier? I saw you getting beaten, so what? Why are you venting your anger on me? All I did was feel sorry for you….. ” She said and Kai moved closer to her

“Hey, listen up, girl disguised as a guy, I don’t like it, no, I don’t want people to feel sorry for me” he said and folded his arms

“Aren’t you curious? ” he asked

“About what? ” Ivy asked

“How I got to know you were a girl ” he said and ivy moved back

“I’m not interested ” She half yelled and kai grinned

“Leave before tomorrow morning, if not, I’m going to tell everyone who you really are ” he said and turned to leave but ivy grabbed his hand

“What must I do for you to keep it a secret? ” she asked and kai jerked her hand away

“There is nothing you can do, Skyes Group means a lot to me and I don’t want it ruined because of you ” he said and walked away

Ivy sat back and sighed

“Seriously, why was he the one who found out? I don’t like him a bit ” She spat

The next morning…..

The Five sat in the studio recording their song and as usual, Audrey, ivy and chris were to take the vocal line while Hayden and Kai were to take the Rap line

They were recording their song ‘Badboy ‘ but Kai kept making mistakes in his Rap line

Ivy:My boyfriend call me on my phone

Every night Every day

Wanna know, how good he is

Can’t love him less

Can’t care Less he

Kai : That Badboy is my boo

Just hanging in my throat

Hay

I wanna taste you

Just let me have you

Just stay….

He suddenly paused and they all looked at him

“What’s wrong with you Kai ” Chris asked and he shook his head

Ivy looked at him and noticed the look on his face

He looked, sick, stressed out and depressed

“Do you need a break? ” Audrey asked

“No, I am really okay, Let’s continue ” he said

“Kai, can you pass me that headphone behind you, seems this one is broken ” Hayden said

“Alright ” Kai said and stood up to take the headphone but he suddenly collapsed on the floor and went unconscious

He opened his eyes in the hospital and saw the four sitting next to him

“You are awake ” Chris said and helped him sat up

“Yeah ”

“What the hell is wrong with you this days? You’ve been acting weird ” Audrey said

“Did your dad hit you again? ” Hayden asked and they all looked at him

“No” he lied

“We should head back to the dorm, Jason, you should stay with Kai ” Chris said as they all stood up

“What? Why me? ” Ivy asked

“You guys are always fighting, it would be a good time for you to reconcile ” Chris said and they all walked out

Ivy sighed and looked at Kai but she quickly looked somewhere else when their eyes met

” I told you to leave, why are you still here?” Kai asked and Ivy coughed

“I can’t leave now ” she replied

“I guess you are adamant, I think I should the Ceo and tell him everything ” Kai said and stood up to take his phone but Ivy stood on his way

“You can’t ” She half yelled at him

“Out of my way “Kai yelled back and ivy folded her arms

“Let me ask you this, do you have a special hatred for women? ” She asked and Kai scoffed

He took few more steps towards her until they were so close

“No, I like women but I hate you especially ” he said and ivy smirked

“I also hate cold hearted men like you “She said and they both glared at each other.

Episode 9
They continued to glare at each other until the door opened and Lucy entered

“Kai” She called with a smile and looked at ivy

“Aren’t you the new member of Sykes?” She asked and ivy nod

“Lucy,Nice to meet you, I’m a big fan of yours” Ivy smiled

“What are you doing here Lucy?” Kai asked and gave ivy a ‘get out’ look

“I will leave you guys to talk” Ivy said and walked out

“Chris called and told me you are sick” Lucy said

“Chris again” Kai murmured

“I’m okay now” he said and stood up

“Where are you going?” Lucy asked as he took of his hospital gown and put on his shirt

“I have to visit my mom” he said

“Ah….I see” Lucy said and nod

She wasn’t happy though

Ivy walked back to the dorm and saw the boys playing a video game

“What are you guys doing here? I thought you should be in the studio” she asked

“We are taking the day off because of. But what are you also doing here? I thought you were with Kai” Audrey asked

“His girlfriend showed up so I had to leave” she said and her phone beeped

It was a text from telling her to meet in the nearest cafe

“Is that your girlfriend?” Chris asked

“No” she replied with disgust “Its a friend, I will be right back” she said and walked outside

Rose sat in the cafe waiting for her friend patiently

“Why is she so late?”, she asked and checked her wristwatch

She looked up and saw someone with a face cap and sunglasses ,Keeping the face unrevealed

” Don’t be scared,it’s me, Ivy” She said and sat down

“What’s up with the cap and sunglasses?” Rosé asked and ivy grinned

“I’m now a celebrity so I can’t go around with my face revealed” She said and Rose shook her head

“Don’t be a fool and listen to me, your ex boyfriend is back” Rose said

“What?” Ivy said and took off her sunglasses

“What do you mean?” She asked again and Rose sighed

“He came back to this country yesterday” Rose said and ivy stood up

“That has nothing to do with me, I’m going” she said and ran out

FLASHBACK…..

“Ivy, I didn’t kill your father, I swear” Trevor said and held ivy’s hand but she jerked it away

“You have so many evidence against you, why did you do it?why did you kill my Dad?” ivy asked as tears dripped from her eyes

“My father was always nice to you, so why…..” ivy said and Trevor smirked

Ivy looked at him with shock and arched her brow

“Did you just say your father was always nice to me? you are wrong, your father is the worst I’ve ever seen” he said

“So? Did you really kill my Dad?”

“Of course, I did, I killed your father with potassium Cyanide” he said and grinned evilly

Kai drove to his mother’s house and entered

But he was shocked when he saw his Dad sitting on the couch

It was as if he was waiting for him

“Kai” His mom called and walked downstairs

“What…what…are you doing here?” He said and his father stood up

“I have nothing Much to say, tomorrow is Lucy’s birthday, you must have forgotten because you are so cold to her,”

“So?”

“There’s something you have to do tomorrow” his father said and he scoffed

“What if I refuse?”

‘”You may be adamant but you also have a weakness ” His father said said and looked at his Mom

“Don’t you dare lay a finger on my mom” Kai said and his father grinned

“I won’t, unless you do what I want”

The next day……..

Lucy’s birthday was going to be at her dad’s house

As soon as it was 7:00 pm, the place was getting crowded

There were many celebrities there

Skye’s were also invited

They all sat in the car chatting except kai

He wasn’t paying attention to them

“We should see Lucy before the party begins” Chris said and they all came down from the car except kai

“Kai,what are you doing?” Hayden asked but he was lost

“Kai” Chris called and tapped and he finally came back to his senses

“Aren’t you coming with us?” Audrey asked

“We can just go without him” ivy said

“Yes,I will join you guys later” he said and they all left him

Ivy and Chris were walking together as ivy kept looking everywhere

“I’ve never been to a celebrity’s birthday party before” she said with excitement

“Really?” Chris asked and she nod

“Chris” Lucy called as she walked up to them

Ivy was impressed by her beauty

She was dressed in a purple floor length gown and her hair was styled too

She was totally beautiful

“Where is Kai?” She asked

“He would be with us in some minutes” Chris replied

“Really? I thought he wasn’t coming, see you later” Lucy said and walked away

The lights suddenly went off

“What’s going on” Chris asked and the light went on again

They were all shocked to see Kai standing in front of Lucy

He brought out a small box from his pocket and knelt before her

“Lucy, Will you marry me?” He asked as everyone started clapping

“What?” Ivy said with shock
