EPISODE forty

Nearing his office, I got to know that more bodyguards where outside already aside the once that dad put there.i I can also see some just joining them which means they just arrived with the Way they are just joining the quee.

That also means the one coming behind me would also join them once he reaches where they are. In my mind, I kept wondering who could be in there. I wish I can enter at the same time, I don’t want to enter even though dad called and I also saw the letter he wrote down for me to follow.

Knowing what kind of a stubborn daughter he gave birth to, he has to call me three times to remind me of coming to his office straight once I arrive in the office. But here I am seeing so many bodyguards outside which means there’s a visitor in,side his office..

If it was to be the president or governor visiting, they prefer to use the conference hall but here is it, it mean he or she is not the president neither is he or she a governor.

Who could it be? I thought nearing his office the more as all the guard’s bow in respect while I pass through them till I reached the main door.

Touching it handle, my mind started having the fight of me opening the door and entering or I should just turn away and walk back to my office to start the day work.

What if dad should call and ask for the reason why I didn’t show up earlier in his office as thought of him, what should u say? Even lying at this point might make him ask for where I have been since yesterday night till this morning.

I should better open the door and face him now rather than getting him more suspicious, I thought placing my hand back on the handle ready to open it while I take in different shaky deep breath then I opened it.

I was welcomed with the familiar scent and fragrance of my dad’s office, welcoming me to his place while I entered fully although, that was after doing the cross sign.

Once I entered his office fully, I turned and closes the door gently not to disturb them. Although, I know the people in,side already see me and see how I am fighting to leave but unfortunately, I can’t move a single leg out of this place cause dad would call me back in.

Opening the second glass door, I was hit with three different scent. Once coming from dad’s office, the second one from mom and dad and the last one from… Wait, am familiar with this last scent… I thought sniffing it in the more while I close the door gently against.

“Welcome Selena, you have just come in time when we need you.” Dad said while I focused on the last scent ….

EPISODE forty-one

SELENA

Opening the second glass door, I was hit with three different scent. Once coming from dad’s office, the second one from mom and dad and the last one from… Wait, am familiar with this last scent… I thought sniffing it in the more while I close the door gently against.

“Welcome Selena, you have just come in time when we need you.” Dad said while I focused on the last scent .

It seems this last scent is something I have been looking forward to smell with the way my body actually reacted to it.

Closing my eyes, I inhale it for so long before I finally got enough of the heart warming scent only God knows who it belongs to because I kept searching my brain to know which one of it but they all seem fuzzy and blurry.

“You said you were going to your husband to be home yesterday night inorder to get to know him the more.”dad said and I hummed in response still enjoying myself with my eyes closed.

“Well when we were unable to reach you through out yesterday and today, we had to call him this morning to ask about your were about telling him the same information that you told us before you left home yesterday but he said he didn’t see you.”

With that statement of his, my eyes flew open and I brace myself up ready to defend myself but when my eyes settled on the manly figure sitting before my dad,all the points I wanted to use to defend myself ran out of my head in hurry like they were being chased out of it.

“What is he doing here?” I asked myself in a low quite voice while expecting no one to hear.

“Because of the matter. Because we already concluded to call the cops if you didn’t pick your calls when I called this morning but I couldn’t tell him not to disturb himself by coming down here again.

Also, again, I want you to explain to him where you head to yesterday because he is now because he is your fiancee now and your husband to be in the next few days so you should be able to tell him where you went to yesterday.”dad said as I swallow the lump in my throat nervously.

Looking at his back alone kept on pushing me to say the truth but I couldn’t because of how dirty I will look and how dirty I have portray my family before him.

I should better talk now while his back was still turned against me rather than having to look at him in his eyeballs and explain my own version of story.

Looking him in his eyeballs would make me remember the things that happened between us, the heated part , his k-sses, his soft hands running.

Seriously, I have to stop this before I get turned on…
