Mia’s POV
Dad… Am not like anyhow, I don’t just under what you are trying to say
” I said with that innocent smile paying on my l-ips while dad roughly my hair and I pouted because he just scattered the hair I spent so much time to make this calm.
” Since they don’t care anymore about Xander and his feelings anymore, it means you have him yourself already or what do you think?” Dad asked looking at me while the smile on my smile grew bigger and lit up with a smile.
” Since they are going to terminate their contract with them tomorrow, dad what are we going to do? I mean what can we do at this moment since you said I shouldn’t do anything and let it be for you and mom alone to do everything that would be happening later.” I said and we continue our journey.
” After dinner, I will call his father and talk about this marriage of a thing with them whatever he says, I will report back to you but I will make sure to persuade him inorder to get you in without any further questioning and eye seeing or people poking around to find one or two things about you.
And you should also stay away from things that would make him find fault in you or your behavior because that man is unpredictable Mia, he can just decide to agree now but ask around about you and have someone on your tail.
One mistake from you, he would stop the wedding and there’s nothing you can do to it, even if is a day to the wedding or few minutes to the wedding. What he believes in is money and you know him, what can’t money do is his slogan.” Dad said and I nodded my head positively.
” Just make us proud Mia, let us be envied by different family and different parents just like we make them envy how beautiful and we’ll taken care off you are. How rich you her, remember that you are now the CEO of all the company we have unlike the others children whom their parents are even richer than we are still, their daughter doesn’t have the title you have.

At the moment, his driver has already arrived so he gave the key to him while we all entered into the car…
The moment I got home, I head straight to my room where I remove every piece covering my uncladness then I clean and wipe out my makeup till there were all off and my natural skin came out.
Seeing I was done with my face, I put the cream that wouldn’t make it have dryness after wiping out my makeup. Then I make my way to the bathroom making sure I bath every where but I didn’t allow just a drop of water touch my face till I was done bathing.
That was the moment I now careful wash and rinse y face without allowing my face to be injured because that’s the only place I do take care the most out of the parts I have which make up my body.
Once I was done with my shower, I go through my normal beauty routine then make my way downstairs in my night wear and a robe on it to cover up for the gown I was wearing.
Only if Xander is here, I would not have any reason to cover up for the full lace night gown which didn’t even reach my knees which I wore out of my room. It would have been him carrying me out of his room for dinner and sending me all these flirting looks that would set me on fire.
I can’t wait to be his dearest, it’s just a matter of a week or two weeks before you have him to yourself. I said to myself as I began to descend the staircase which lead to the dinning area.
” You will always look beautiful in anything you put on, I wonder how Xander would be able to resist such beauty not to talk of getting angry at you.” Mom said as I take my seat at the other side of the table while throwing her a cute smile.
She knows how to make my heart skip beats with her words, but obviously, Xander would be tge best at getting me w-t and crave for his body, I thought as I look up only to find them staring back at me then I instantly took my eyes down shyly.
What’s making them stare at me this way, I thought eating quickly just to get myself out of here before they strip me unclad…

Xander’s POV
Walking up the next morning, I went to pay the maid in which I caused pain yesterday a visit before I think of what to do this morning or what am not meant to do.
Entering the maids’ chamber In my house, I felt somehow like my mom is here with me because when we were little, we both do go to the maids’ chamber back at our house every weekend to inspect.
We also do go there to see to their needs because they will surely need something but would be afraid to ask due to the rumor they do carry around between themselves about their boss and his behaviors.
Especially my dad who loves rumors should spread about it, bad and evil rumors which would make them fear him the more but to me, I see those rumors as lies that are created to push oneself away from the main reality happening in one’s life.
For example, my dad used rumors to cover up the fact that he had a weakness, he uses them to create the image of who he can’t fit in and the rumor of who he can’t be in the next few coming hundred years yet, he made them that way just to build fame that anyone that wants to cross or challenge him would step back from doing so.
I just wonder how his poor life would be, h would be very pained and sad throughout his lifestyle cause no one would respect him not to talk of fear him. Even yesterday that Serena’s mom said those, he was angry, pained and disappointed but he knows better than to pass his anger down on me.
Instead, he grabbed the hand of the lady beside him and filing her into the elevator while I stood at the other side texting Leo and telling him how everything went through and what ended their friendsh¡p.
I also told him about what difference I took note of on Mia (Serena’s best friend) I also told him to look into that and he should report back to me everything he is going to find about her.
The moment the elevator ding and opened, she was dragged out after him while I gracefully make my way to the car because none of this involved me, I am not the one who was in love with money and decided to use their daughter as bait, I am not the one who came into their house with the deal.
My father only announced to his friends that he needs to look for a bride for me and they began to volunteer including him being who my dad is, how greedy he is, he decided to measure them accordingly to their wealth and what they can give out to increase his own wealth and they did what? They bought the idea and gave out all they have….
