Diana haven’t called her mother for months, and she knows that she is probably worried about her.

Her dad,she knows he doesn’t care if she spends years away from home without calling him.

Always busy,but she loves them both so dearly and he loves her no matter how much he tries to hide it, he’s still angry with her.
She always grins at the thought.

She sought through her bag for her second simcard.

She always removes it from her phone when she’s not ready to be disturbed by so many people especially her mom,she calls like every minute,today she needs to call her and inform her that she’s coming home.

“Babe…do you care for tea?”Tricia asked walking into the room.

“Oh yeah,that’s the only thing you know how to make,your cousin Becky said something like that”Diana said not looking up.

Tricia handed her a cup of tea and sat down to drink hers.
“Then leave it for me,as if she knows how to cook,I hate that girl with passion”She snorted.

“She said exactly the same thing about you!”Diana laughed.

“So,you are really serious about going home today huh?!”Tricia asked looking at her friend’s bag,her mother had gone to pick it from David’s house early this morning.

“Yes,I have to,I mean the holiday ends next week, I need to spend time with my mom before going back to school so her mind would be eased”Diana explained ins**ting the Sim card in,side her phone.

“Alright… I wish I can go with you”She said pouting her l-ips.

“But you can’t!..relax,we will meet in school”

“Mmmm…no…am going to miss you!”

“Baby Barbie!… you need to see how funny your face looks”
They laughed.

“Ahm…did Melvin call you again?”Tricia asked seriously again.

“Yeah ..but I didn’t pick,I don’t see any reason why he’s calling me”Diana replied looking at her face.

Melvin has done his worst,why calling her again,she will pay him amicably,the young man knows nothing about her, except the fact that she’s a student that bears the sweet name,Diana.

“Owh,Nadia called anyways, said she haven’t been around and I think that’s why Melvin is disturbing you”

“That’s none of my business,I have added his line in blacklist…he’s least of my worries now”she said lowly.

“Well … okay,let me try and cook something for you babe”Tricia said standing up.

“Please cut fruits,am not ready to eat poison”She teased.

“You will like this one, enough meat for you honey”she replied and went out.

“Crazy girl”she said to herself laughing as she searched for her mother’s number.

She dialled it and waited for her to pick up.

“Oh my goodness!…Diana honey!”her mother’s angelic voice bursted into her phone.
She could bet she’s dancing happily now.

“Good morning Mom”she greeted her.

“It’s a sweet morning honey,how could you be so heartless?,it’s not so fair for you to spend your holiday elsewhere without at least a call,am really angry with you!”her mother said in a chilly voice.

“Ohw..mom,you can’t be angry with me,am your baby”she said with a childish voice.

“But I am, because if you are really my baby girl you won’t want to spend days away from me,do you even know what it feels like for me to call,text and email you just to reach you and it’s all in vain because I know very well you have removed your sim card as usual”Her mother came again.

“Okay mother,I am sorry!,will you forgive me if I come home?”she said smiling because she knows that will get her mother’s attention,she must be grinning right now.

“Now she’s trying to bribe me with a fat lie!”

“No mom,am serious,am on my way home”Diana assured her.

Diana is the only daughter of a multi-millionaire, Kendrick Leonard.

She never knew pain ever since she was born,aside the few times she scratched herself when she’s playing in her room as a child,she couldn’t remember any other time she got hurt.

Her father had gotten angry with her because she refused to go outside the country for her studies and the fact that she refused to study the course which her father had chosen for her.

Though her father doesn’t appreciate her choice of school and course,he still feeds her account with money,she never lacked anything.

Some people in her status would drive around school with flashy cars and show off their money but that’s not how she grew up,it’s a crappy lifestyle.

She left her home at age fifteen and went to stay with her aunt, though they are not as wealthy as her family,she lived there through out her secondary School days and left for university,she doesn’t have much relationsh¡p with her family but she can’t say she jokes with them.

More reasons why she doesn’t stay around her father and mother is the fact that they are already keeping a man for her,she laughs when she thinks of the boring human being they are sponsoring for her as a future husband.

And the fact that they will want her to take a driver and too many cars to school,she thinks that’s crazy.

No one knows much about her,she behaves like every normal lady in school, Tricia had met her mother but she doesn’t know their standard.
Diana loves a carefree life, freedom is one thing she loves,her family are used to living their boring life, she’s used to living like the average family where she grew up.

Yesterday was the only day she felt a stab of pain,real pain,how it feels to hurt,to be heartbroken,she never allows that come to her,she never loved with all her heart,her mind,her soul….

every of her being…but now she has finally gotten herself trapped inlove and heartbroken to core.

Now,she wants her mother, she’s the only one person that understands her no matter what happens.

Mrs Jasmine K Leonard is the only one person that loves her with all her foolishness and stupidity, she’s never tired of showering her with motherly love.

“Fine,when I see you,I will know that you are serious”Jasmine said to her daughter.

“Okay Mom, I love you”

“Mom loves you too honey, and she’s expecting you at home”Jasmine said before hanging up.

Diana stared at her phone for a while before placing it on the bed.She joined her friend in the kitchen.

Maggie read the letter she’s holding over and over again.

“Linda,where did you say you saw this letter again?”she asked looking up at her house keeper.

“Ma’am,a post man came here just a second ago and handed it to me,he said it’s directed to Mrs Davidson,so I brought it to you”the woman explained bowing slightly.

“Okay fine,no problem,you can go back to your duty”Maggie said and walked in,side.

“Tricia?”she called her daughter.

“Am in here mom!”Tricia answered from the kitchen.
Maggie went straight to the kitchen.

“Tricia can you believe this?!!”she said handing the paper to Tricia,Diana kept herself busy with making a cup of coffee,she didn’t want to mind but the look on Tricia’s face as she read whatever is written on the paper caught her attention.

She left what she’s doing and came close to them.
“What’s the problem?”she asked looking from mother to daughter.

“Mom, this is not true right?!”Tricia asked her mother instead.

“Trish, I don’t know,I need to call David and know what’s happening!”Maggie ran out of the kitchen to go get her phone.

“Tricia what’s wrong,did anything happen to David?”Diana asked worriedly.

“No,the company Diana,we are loosing the company”Tricia said as tears flowed down the corners of her eyes.

“Oh my…am so sorry,this must really be hærd for David”Diana said as her eyes watered,she drew Tricia into her arms and patted her on the back passionately to console her.

Maggie joined them again,she held her phone to her ear;”David please pick it up!”she lamented.

“Did you see him this morning when you went to pick Diana’s bag?”Tricia asked.

“No,the only person I saw was Peter,he said he drove back yesterday night”Maggie replied.

Something flickered through Diana’s mind.
“What’s written on that letter?”she questioned taking it from Tricia’s hand.She went through it and folded it carefully”I need to go and see David”she said and made to leave in a haste.

Maggie stopped her;”Diana,he might…..”

“I don’t care,I know something about this writing, and this is vaguely related to the stolen files,I need to clearify it first but I know it’s something I have come across before”Diana insisted.

“But,what are you going to do?….and…why do you think so?,I mean if the org-nization wants to take David’s remaining shares,it can’t possibly be connected with those files”

“I don’t just think it’s connected,I know…am a computer programmer and I don’t easily forget things I have seen before especially written words”she explained so sure of herself,then added more calmly”I need to help David mom,even if he doesn’t want to see me,I will do it, at least to show him how sorry I am about everything”

Maggie nodded her approval and hugged her.

“Can I come with you,Diana?”Tricia asked.

“Yes!”Diana smiled.

They ran off together.Maggie knelt down and prayed for God’s intervention.

“See man,it’s okay, everything is going to be fine”Harry tried to calm David down,he had been pacing around his office like a man that has no destination.

“Harry, did you hear what they said!…and the worse of this situation is that Thelma is nowhere to be found!!”David fused hitting his office door.

“Well…you have to calm down,I have sent your security man to check up on her and believe me man, I gat your back,I will make sure no one has possession to your shares”Harry assured him.

“Am done for,am really done for ,man…what am I supposed to do?!,am loosing my mind”David shivered all over,it’s obvious he’s going to loose everything,he had lost everything when he lost Diana.

“The misery here that is hærd to unravel is who is behind this, even the meeting was cancelled and it’s said to be tomorrow… whoever is doing this is closer than we think, I no longer think it’s just a business rival,it’s someone somewhere trying to take your legacy, David”Harry expressed his mind to his friend.

David looked at him intently and asked lowly”who?”

“That remains the question”Harry replied patting him on the shoulder.

A knock came on his office door,he sharply opened it with the hope that Thelma is the one knocking, he’s wrong,Diana stood there,his sister behind her.

His heart skipped a beat,it became alive and the only thing that crossed his mind is to take her into his arms and k-ss her breathless.
He has missed her .

“What are you doing here?”he asked being mean.

“I know you don’t want to see me right now but, please just let me help you, David… I..have to help you understand something, please”she said taking her lower lip between her teeth as she stared at the paper she’s twisting on her hand.

David laughed loudly as if she just cracked a joke.
“You want to help me!…did I tell you that I need your freaking help?!!”he barked.

“David see….”she tried protesting but he cutted her short.

“Damn you Diana, I don’t want to see anything!,the only thing I want to see now is you back turned,out of my office!!”

“No David!,you have to listen to her,just take a look at the letter that was sent to Mom this morning and she seems to know something about it!!”Tricia came in.

“Of course she should know something about this!, she’s the one behind everything!!”David fused hitting his desk.

A tear slipped down Diana’s left eye as her heart sanked,she turned to run out of the office,but Harry and Tricia held her back.

“David,you don’t have to be so mean on her,how could you say that?!”Harry said surprised at his friend’s words.

“Let me go”Diana sobbed.

“Diana, please don’t forget that this is a better way to prove to him that you have nothing to do with this,common babe”Tricia held Diana tight as she made to free herself.

“David,take back your words!”Harry began getting angry at his friend.

“What?!”David snapped.

“You have to apologise to her!”Harry said again.

“No way!”…….
