CLEO
I heard a voice as I lied on the mattress, oh God it’s reign, I stood up quickly

REIGN
Are you deaf? I said who….. the hell are you?

CLEO
Oh God his voice sounds s€×y, his haircut is spiky, I was carried away by his handsomeness

REIGN
And who are to look me in the eye?

CLEO
I regained myself, I stammered “I’m Cleo”

REIGN
“Who cares about your dumb skull name “

CLEO
He said as he puts on his polo, oh gosh he got six packs, I wonder why God created someone as handsome as this

REIGN
Anyway get trash, people like you disgust me

CLEO
Do you think I’m someone that would be scared of you? No way

REIGN
I don’t f-cking care, besides I hate people like you

CLEO
I moved closer to him, he was scared, he stepped backwards as I moved closer, he never expect it, “hey uncle reign, note, I’m not the type that’s gonna shiver for you, I’m gonna treat your damn f-ck up”, I took the cup of hot tea I splashed it on his white Polo and I left putting the tray in my armpit, I opened the I another handsome, I walked pass him in 😠 who cares

MASON
Oh God reign, your white Polo, what’s wrong with it?

REIGN
(Angrily ) W h……. Wh… What the hell?

CLEO
Who does he thinks he is? No one takes Cleo for granted, I got back to the kitchen, everyone was surprised I didn’t came back crying

THERESA
Cleo, way the hell have you done?

CLEO
Reign or whatever…. I thought him a lesson he needs to learn

THERESA
Oh Cleo you so finished, whatever you ever did to you got in soup my dear

CLEO
Mom reign is to full of himself

THERESA
Darling it’s none of your business is your boss, oh God I don’t know what to do? You gonna face the consequences

NANCY
Wow😍 Cleo, you are so brave

MASON
You telling me that maid did this to you Bro?

REIGN
Yes, she did this, I’m just wondering how  she has the mind to do that, she’s really something

I woke up the following morning, i clearly dynasia, i checked the time, oh… it’s 8am, i got up quickly, i took my bath, i wore my uniform, “oh gosh mum and aunty shade will be mad at me, i got of the room in a haste, oh dear, everyone (maids) is assembled, grannie lair was giving moral instructions, i sneaked into the vertical queue

GRANNIE LAIR
And some of u thinks i’m to old to differ things, imagine someone wakin up at this time of the day, may ask u…miss cleo, what are you doing in bed late?!

CLEO
Oh God, she got me “um… i’m sorry ma, it won’t happen again”

GRANNIE LAIR
You better take to ur words
Grannie Lair continues as we dismissed to our various tasks, as i said earlier… i’m so clumsy, i was cleanin a golden painted portrait of reign, mason and jada, jada was the younger sister of reign and mason, she 13, reign is 15, mason 17 being the eldest

NANCY
Oh God, i was asked to take a fruit in a tray to reign, mason and jada in d sittin room,i’m so scared now.

NANCY
The tray was kinda shaking in my hands, i wish cleo would give me her boldness, i got to d sittin room frm afar, i can tell look on reign and mason’s face, jada never cared, she’s sort of… i’d say nice

REIGN
(harshly)Is this a seasoned fruit salad, get away with this trash

MASON
She has contaminated it

JADA
Gosh guys, take it easy on her, she’s nt the one making the fruit, hey nancy, i’d love to eat ur fruit
Jada took a bite frm the fruit she saw it pleasant and she laid down on her ball like couch

REIGN
Till u get buried don’t you ever bring fruits for me again

NANCY
I ran out of their sight, cleo asked me what happened, i explained everythin to her, she held my hands as we head to the sittin room
“cleo, wh..what the hell are u doin?”

CLEO
“WATCH ME”
I dragged nancy with i got to the sittin room
And uncle reignie! who are you to humiliate my siblings

MASON
Is this nt…

CLEO
(cuts in) ..cleo! i moved closer to reign, like i said why have you done that?

CLEO
You knw, everyone is always unguilty of what u do to them always, TRY TO CHANGE
Cleo left in anger without reign sayin a word

JADA
(surprisingly)And dat maid is superbrave, for talkin to the mighty reign

CLEO
I told nancy everythin is ok now, my mother dragged me with my ear to a quiet place, where her an aunt shade scolded me

THERESA
For Christ’s sake, cleo, would you stop doin this to me, do you want us to get sacked?

CLEO
Mom, the are to f…

THERESA
(cuts in silently) shut up!

JADA
Oh reign, you just got ur butt kicked off by a mere maid

REIGN
I knw what to do, no one cross my path

MASON
I went downstairs, i saw cleo, i moved closer to her, i stopped what she’s doin

CLEO
Oh i really think my mom is here to see u’ve started again
Mason moves closer to cleo
MASON
hey, i’m nt scared of you, by the way i like can we be friends

CLEO
(thoughts), oh this is really asking me out is he?? no way

CLEO
Oh I get it, you mean we should be friends?

MASON
Yeah really tight friends…

CLEO
Look… i knw what u mean, but i’m nothin compared to you, just look at me

MASON
It doesn’t change anythin, just think of it
Mason took a sip of tropical juice and left

CLEO
I was thinking of what mason said to me as i cleaned the bar shelf, i was wondering whether he’d end making fun of me,”i think i can’t be friend with him”, i said angrily, i mistankenly shifted a piece, everything fell off and broke, oh God, i’m so clumsy, it caught everyone’s attention
Reign came downstairs puttin his two hands in his pocket

REIGN
Well, well, well, cleopatra, u done ur worse by ruining my property, huh?, anyway, you have no idea how much it costs, each glass of cup costs $30,000, in your entire lifetime, can you get that amount?

CLEO
I’m so speechless, the reason why i’ve nt hated reign is because of his handsomeness, i have a crush on him anyway than i have on ma son

REIGN
You cant talk?

CLEO
I felt like givin him a hærd puch that would make him comatose

REIGN
Seriously… well then you’re gonna pay for it
Reign left with a wicked smile on his face
Mason came in, he saw what happened but was never moved

MASON
Where’s reign? and why are u lookin so melancholic cleo?

CLEO
Um… it’s nothing

MASON
Just take care, and tomorrow let’s hang out

CLEO
What? hang out? me?, everyone was very surprise, my mom gave me a WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN look
Reign rushed downstairs

REIGN
Brother are you hangin out with this kind of person?

MASON
It’s nt a concern to u

Reign left like either he was dissappointed or i’d say JEALOUS!

REIGN
I wrapped a white towel around my neck as i get out of the bathroom, i saw jada laying on my mattress, “hey sis u shud be asleep by now” i said harshly

JADA
Oh reignie, u knw ur harshness doesn’t works on me, and by the way change, or else mason is gonna snatch that maid frm u! and i knw u are wounded of  what kylie did last year, but change

CLEO
Mason and i hanged out at a park, where he told me different things abt his life, i had a feeling whether he likes me

MASON
Look cleo, reign is nt who you think he is

CLEO
I covered my ice-cream and i pay more attention to what mason is abt to say, “i don’t get it”

MASON
(chuckles) he is nt who think he is, he is injured?

CLEO
Injured? how?

MASON
I mean he is heartbroken, which made him who he is today, he fell in luv with kylie, kylie had to break his heart by making the wrong decision, anyway let’s nt talk much, let’s go home

CLEO
We got home, i decided to get raw coffee

REIGN
And where hav u been?

CLEO
It’s reign, i ignored him

REIGN
Stop feigning ignorance like i’m nt talkin to u

CLEO
It’s never a way that suits ur business!
He took the coffee frm me, i poured it into the hot water and he continued

REIGN
You see, i think u need to knw this

CLEO
No what?

REIGN
No that i’m the slayer of all bitches

CLEO
(thouhfully) what did he mean by dat?
