*** INSIDE ZARL ROOM ***
Zarl was laying down on his bed peacefully thinking about his life , and how fragile his heart is to the point that it get startled all because of a junior boy yell, suddenly the door opened and jack barged in.
hey why would you hurt that boy that came to visit us ,ooh no actually I mean the guy that came to stay with us are you that heartless ??! ” jack yells.
what are you saying and what do you mean by hurt the boy ,which boy ; how ,when ,common what do you mean by that. ” Zarl mutter standing up immediately.
follow me downstairs now so you can clarify whether what I’m saying is the truth or not. “jack yells and drag Zarl out of the room downstairs and shockingly Carl was really crying.
what’s wrong with you ??, ” Zarl ask wondering what’s going on here because he left this boy just few minutes ago and how come jack and Mother came back at the same time.
are you thinking of a profitable lie to offer because you’re the only one in this house ,we came back home and saw him crying and to make the matter worst his not saying anything .” Mrs kinn said angrily.
mother I really don’t know what is wrong with him please ,truly I was here with him few moments ago but him crying I really do not know why please. ” Zarl anwsered calmly .
his the one that hit me his Lying I really want to go back home but after I stayed up there I said that I wanted to stay at least till my parents comes back but he hit me , something my parent has never done before ” Carl narrated”.
what !, me what do you mean by I hit you I never did such thing why would I ? ” Zarl mutter very confused about the unexpected scene happening right Infront of him.
how dare you ? ” Mrs kinn mutter And slapped Zarl real hard and he fell down and that made carl to gasp why is she hitting her own son a grown up man. ” Carl thought because that wasn’t his intentions.
are you stupid. ” Mrs kinn yell and lash another mighty slap on him.
don’t worry he won’t touch you again. ” Mrs kinn mutter to Carl and walk away angrily mumbling some words
you’re so stupid and senseless that you disgrace yourself even in front of a guest. ” jack scoffs and hit him hard on his stomach before walking away making Zarl to growl in pain as he feels terrible he couldn’t even look up he bow his face down sadly .
Carl who was standing there was speechless he also turn and walk away not knowing what to do at that particular moment.

*** THE NEXT DAY ***
Zarl was dressed up for work and was about leaving but his family is about to have breakfast everyone was there including Carl ,he sigh when he got their and greeted them all he didn’t stop he start walking out .
where are you going son ??, ” Mr kinn ask obviously confused on why his son would go to work on an empty stomach what’s urgent ? ” he thought “.
dad I’m going to work I’m running late already. ” Zarl asking without looking at their direction.
son it’s still seven why the rush did something come up in the hotel do you need so cash ? ” Mr kinn ask
honey why don’t you let him be,he said that he doesn’t want to eat why don’t you let him be ,his a grown up man If his hungry he can buy food for himself .” Mrs kinn interupted
dad I think you should listen to your wife. ” Zarl mutter and was about opening the door when Mrs kinn flared up.
what do you mean listen to your wife I’m I the one you’re referring to like that ? ” Mrs kinn fires at him.
you’re his wife and ooh yes I’m actually referring to you do you have any problem with that ? ” Zarl glares facing them fully.
“son ” you don’t dare talk to your mother in that manner. ” Mr kinn yell wondering what’s going on early this morning.
dad his been rude to mother and I don’t like that , maybe his Still angry because of the beating mother gave to him yesterday. ” jack suddenly split out without thinking making every eyes to turn to him.
emm. jack. what do you mean beating, you mean your mother hit Zarl ? ” since when ,how is that possible I mean who hit a grown up man what exactly did he do ??, ” Mr kinn ask angrily.
when me and mother came back yesterday we saw Carl crying and we asked him what’s wrong and he confirmed that Zarl hits him so mother got angry and hit Zarl twice on his cheeks while I kicked his stomach hard. ” jack explained without feeling any remorse.
what !, Mr kinn yell angrily banging hard on the table.
how dare you hit my first son ,who does that ,you know Carl is still a kid and meant lie over that just to go back home ,you know how spoilt he is and you dare hit my son. ” Mr kinn yells .
I just pitied the little boy and do what a good guidance supposed to do ,I have to hit him to show I didn’t support him of what he did by hitting his guest. ” Mrs kinn defended.
absolute nonesense , and you believe just like that that Zarl hit him , Zarl that can’t even hurt a fly ?, Zarl I ask you now ,did you hit him ??,.
” Mr kinn ask “.
of course not father ,I was discussing with him and later went upstairs to rest ,only to be interupted by jack who barged in and drag me down claiming I hit Carl ,to make it worse Carl even said I did hit him ,but that was a lie ,but they believe him because he was crying and they both hit me right in front of him. “, Zarl mutter calmly and walk out of the house ignoring the calls from his father.
what you did was wrong. ” Mr kinn yell and also left abandoning his breakfast.
Carl also hiss and walk out of the house ,thou the personal driver is already waiting to take him to school.
son why did you say that in front of your father have you suddenly gone nuts ?” Mrs kinn yell angrily at jack who realized what he did and bite his lips.
I’m really sorry mom I forgot please don’t take that to heart ,you know what I will make it up to you I’m leaving bye. ” jack said and rush out in other to avoid more yelling from his mother.

Zarl walked in and the staffs greeted him happily.
good morning sir. ” they chroused with a smile “.
morning. ” he smiled back
why are you guys grinning from ear to ear what’s the good news.” Zarl ask sitting down on one of the chair around there.
well sir the first goodnews is that , congratulations that project you’re working on is done , everything is now complete and you know the complex is so big that it got divided into many parts ,the first one is the hotel ,the second one ,the shopping mall ,the third one the studio, and the last one is still vacancy no plan for it yet. ” the secretary says with a smile.
thank you all finally the project is done but we need alot of money to stuck in that place so I can finally announce the goodnews to my dad. ” Zarl mutter “.
yaaah. “they all hyped.
thanks guys now let’s get back to work ,the delivery guys should go ahead the cook and other staffs please anything I can help with let me know because I’m done with the expenses already we’re running out of cash due to this project. ” Zarl said standing up..
ok sir we got your back be rest assured that were moving forward and backward never .” they all chroused and bursted into laughter.
alright guys bye I got to go check it out myself to see how the place looks , passerby would be like ,wow who owns this place is so beautiful and we’ll structured. ” Zarl giggle and walk out of the hotel entering his car and he zoomed off to his site.
He arrived there and alighted from the car ,wow it’s so beautiful dad would be so proud of Me ,I finished fours gigantic building at a time , impressive. ” Zarl thoughts and shook his head.
he start walking inside the building and at the same time examining things there and checking it out.
hi Zarl. ” some one called immediately he was about entering inside and he turn to know who it was but it’s Carl he scoff and continue walking while Carl chase him.
hey wait I’m talking to you ,I was going to school and I saw this building it caught my attention I love it ,is it yours ,is beautiful ,you must have spent alot of money building this ,I was just admiring the building from afar and then I saw you walked in ,I wouldn’t you came to buy something because this is still a new building ,so is this the hotel you’re talking to me about. ” Carl blabbed and continuing talking none stop,but Zarl Ignored him and continue walking around the house without uttering a word to him or reacting as if there is someone around him.
oooh !, ” Carl yell annoyingly because his being trying to gat his attention but his ignoring him.
