oooh dear you’re here what’s wrong ??, Zarl ask walking away immediately while his secretary miss Nora follows

I came to give you the key to the other complexes you forgot it and I rush here immediately should Incase you decides to check it out and know the kind of lastest design to fashion it. ” Miss Nora mutter with a smile.

alright Nora let’s go you know we still have works in the hotel to the or else we both are going to get spanked by our colleagues. ” Zarl teased and they both bursted into laughter before they continue walking.

meanwhile Carl who was still following them quietly was watching and listening to their conversation and the more he thinks about the fact that he was being ignored the more it angers him.

alright sir ,bye see you ,.” Mrs Nora waves and catwalk away.

hey that’s unfair ,how can you be this ruthless and wicked is not fair ,I have being talking to you but you totally ignored me and here you are talking with your girlfriend. ” Carl yell pulling Zarl forcefully making them to come closer to each them.

let me be ,I’m not your mate ,have some manners okay and again you don’t have any right to tell me who to talk to or whom not to talk to so respect the fact and let me be. ” Zarl says calmly and pull his arm out of his shirt and dust it before walking out.

Carl hissed ” and walk out through the door his reached where his car is and bang the door ,take me back I don’t want to go to school anymore. ” Carl yell annoyingly”.

but a quick glare from Carl shut him up.

and the driver start on the car and zoomed off.

Zarl sigh and continue with his supervision ,after some minutes of doing that ,he heads back to his car and was about entering the when a young ,dirty , tattered and unkept girl rush and hide behind his back holding him tightly .

save please save me ,I never meant to do that I was just hungry and my mom is sick please. ” the girl cries out.

hey okay okay can you let me go ,you don’t look good and it’s not good for my health if you continue holding on me like that. ” Zarl mutter and the girl let him go.

that’s the girl catch her. ” a group of men yell rushing towards them.

hey guys please what’s up what did she do ? ” Zarl ask.

is none of your concern , mind your business young man. “an old man there said.

I’m really sorry to Interfer but please can you tell me what she did please. ” Zarl pleaded.

alright since you want to know ,she stole bread from my shop three days ago and now I have caught her she must pay. ” the old man sworn.

Alright how much is the money ? ” Zarl ask bringing some cash from his pockets.

nevermind ,you can take it all sorry for bothering you ,I’m promising you that she would never do that again. ” Zarl mutter and they nodded happily before they left.

why would you steal something that doesn’t belong to you ,don’t you know you could he jail for that ,or even got beaten up by those heartless men ? ” Zarl scolded the young girl while she bow her face.

I’m so sorry sir ,my mother and I are poor ,we are lucky to have a place to shelter but there’s no food , and she’s sick ,I begged for job everyday in the streets but unfortunately I didn’t get any , so the only option I have is for me to steal or else we both would have starved to death long time ago. ,” the girl explained and start crying.

is okay ,come with me let me take you home Atleast you get to eat food and shower and then I make you my maid so you would be getting paid through that In order to help your mum. ” Zarl mutter without thinking while the girl kneel on her knees and thanked him so much.

there’s no problem enter the car I don’t have much time. Zarl said and the girl nodded and rush to the other side of the car and Zarl open it and she entered and he drove off.

Zarl drove in and park his car in the parking spot ,he come out of the car and help the girl out and they both walked inside , immediately they entered ,Zarl saw Carl who was sitted on a couch tapping his feet in aggressive manner,he ignored him and lead the girl to the guest room ,for her to take her bath ,he also drop one of his old trouser and shirt for the girl to wear.

before going to the kitchen to arrange what the girl would eat.

hey ” Zarl called of the servants.

yes sir do you need anything. ” the maid ask .

yes I do ,I need you to prepare good foods for me and serve it immediately in the dinning , simple but nice please , make sure it’s enough for a starving person and be fast about that. ” Zarl ordered before walking out of kitchen.

he was about going to his room when Carl whom has been watching everything that has been happening and couldn’t hold unto it anymore rush to Zarl and pull him to the stairs wall.

how dare you Embrass me Infront of your girlfriend’s , and to make it worse you even brought another girl into the house. ” Carl says angrily “.

and so what ? is my business not your’s okay kindly let me be I don’t have any damn forsaking business with you ,who comes to see me or who I come back with is not your concern you’re not my mum nor are you my dad. ” Zarl yell and remove his hand from his body and rush back to the dining and sit mumbling some unheard words to himself.

Carl stand there for a while shocked and confused why his seriously following a grown up man around and to add salt to injury he even skip school today all because of him ,what has been gotten into you .” Carl mumble to himself as he walks upstairs gently.

Zarl on the other hand started feeling guilty because he knows he was being too harsh to the university boy and his there guest no matter what ,he should be treated with love and care ,I must have crossed the boundary ,I shouldn’t have yelled at him like that. ” he thought staring at Carl as he walks on the stairs slowly.

meanwhile in Carl’s mind as he walks ,I shouldn’t have pulled the prank,he was the only one in this house that tries to be friends with Me even thou his way older than me,I fu*k up real one .” he thought sadly as he pout his lips.

Zarl was also tapping the table gently as he was trying to force back the urge of calling him back or rushing to him where he was but he can’t and finally Carl disappeared out of his sight and he sighed.

hi sir I’m done. ” the girl said interrupting Zarl from his thoughts.

okay come have a sit dear and introduce yourself to me before you’re done the food would be done and it would be much remember to package some for your mother .” Zarl says.

ok sir I will,thank you so much for your help , actually my name is ivy ,I live with my mom I lost my dad I’m the only child ,my mom got sick ,I’m a drop out right from highschool times , and I’m poor .” the girl narrated ” and that amazes Zarl on how sharp mouthed a young lady like her is.

alright nice meeting you ivy ,now I want you to promise me that you won’t steal again ,I have assigned you as my maid I would be paying you well okay. ” Zarl mutter.

Thank you sir , you are so kindhearted I promise to be faithful and loyal to ,as for the job I accept and I promise and sworn my life to you today I will never steal again. ” ivy sworn “.

is fine ,keep to your promise.

sir the food is here ,” the maid said dropping the food on top of the dining table.

thank you .” Zarl mutter and push the food to ivy who’s eye widened.

hmmm,sir is it mine ? I should start eating .” ivy ask with her eyes popped out .

sure the food is yours enjoy yourself. ” Zarl said.

thank you sir ,God bless you .” Ivy small and dig in the food and start eating ,no I would rather say and start loading the food fastly into her mouth as she couldn’t contain the joy ,she mo*n out some funny weird sounds as she eats happily.

Zarl laughs inwardly and at the same time pity her , wondering what a young beautiful lady like her has passed through all because of poverty.

it’s actually hilarious and unbelievable how he let her follow him into the house ,she’s beautiful it won’t be a bad idea if I marry her. ” Zarl thought and shook his head.

I think you’re right that would bring her out of this poverty forever exactly you need to marry her and help her then you move out of this horrible place you call home.” zarl mind added making him to scoff.
