Celine’s Pov
Dirty thoughts filled my head after seeing Adrian’s manh-od, how can someone be so perfect.
The duvet covering my body is pulled off me and I scre-m out covering my eyes, I might have seen it all but I don’t want Adrian to know I have seen anything.
“Open your eyes” He orders,his thick voice making me cringe in ways only God can understand.
“No” I said nodding the negative.
He sighs and forces my palms away from my face I try resisting but I wasn’t in any way as strong has this man.
He succeeds in pulling my hands away but I shut my eyes.
“Celine” Adrian calls out, I open my eyes slowly and heaved a sigh of relief when I saw a towel wrapped around his wa-ist.
“What do you want?” I asked pouting my mouth and folding my hands.
“Don’t pretend you didn’t eye rape me minutes ago, go get ready” He orders, this ordering tone which I hated.
“For what?” I asked totally oblivious. He looks at me smirks and nods his head.
“Have you forgotten you are my P.A, I’ll be having interviews today. I need you” He walks in the bathroom while I sit back on his bed.
I remember Mary and got off the bed immediately, I needed to know why she was so upset last night and refused to talk to me, I know Mary has a very lively person so whatever had happened to her had to be very serious.
I run to my room but she wasn’t in there.
“Mary” I called out checking the bathroom but she wasn’t there.
Her clothes were still in the wardrobe which means she had not left yet.
I ran downstairs and heard some noise in the kitchen, I turned back and ran in the kitchen. Mary was there pouring milk in,side the bowl before adding the fruit cereals into it.
“Morning Celine” She says gleefully dipping a spoon in,side the bowl.
“Should I make you a bowl??” She asks and brings out another bowl,I walk close to her and observed her very well.
Her eyes were swollen and her under eyes were very dark, her hair was roughly scattered and the fake smile didn’t help in making her look better.
I grabbed her in and hugged her deeply, I knew she needed it, I remembered when Julia was crying profusely, I didn’t know why she was crying but I hugged her and she was able to calm down even though she pushed me away minutes later. I know how powerful a hug is,it can even calm a beast down.
I hear her sob and her tears dropped on my shoulders.
“It’s okay, it’s okay” I said and rubbed my hand on her hair. I could feel her pain even though I didn’t know why she was sad.
She withdraws from the hug sniffing and cleaning her tears.
“Do you mind talking to me about it” I asked hoping for a positive answer.
“It’s Fred” She replies. I should have known it was that arrogant bastard.
“You know Celine I had thought Fred was the guy, I met him few days after my sixth heartbreak. We started off as friends but I saw the way he looked at me, he gets jealous whenever I was with another guy and he always wanted to be close to me but I didn’t want a relationsh¡p because of what have gone through in the hands of men. We were friends for one year and I had trusted him fully, he promised me my sixth heartbreak would be my last but I should have known ALL MEN ARE THE SAME, he…”
“No Mary” I interrupted her, all men are not the same.
“Fred is a stupid guy and he doesn’t deserve you, look Mary I know there’s a man out there who deserves you”
“I guess that man has been aborted already” She jokes, I chuckle and hold her hands.
“Don’t give up Mary, you are a strong and beautiful woman. Fred doesn’t know what he lost because he never realized what he had” I say to her and hug her again.
“The irony Celine, I used to be the one teaching you about love but now look at you…” I chuckle out loud and my attention drifts to Adrian who was standing outside the kitchen unaware that we were in the kitchen.
“Go meet your man hon” Mary says and pushes me out. I run back in the kitchen and hug her.
“You’ll be alright” I say and run out to meet Adrian, I was’nt looking down so I tripped on a table and fell on Adrian. I looked at his eyes staring at him intensely, I was a s-cker for this man.
“Are you going to keep on staring at me” He said breaking my thoughts. I frowned and released him, I turn back to leave but he pulls me back and I gasp.
“Adrian what are you….”
He puts his finger on my l-ips and smiles.
“Don’t stop staring at me, don’t stop loving me. Please Celine” He pleads, I open my mouth but I was lost for words.
Mary walks in clearing her throat, I chuckle softly and Adrian releases me.
Julia’s Pov
I was back in Brooklyn, in three days time I’ll have to marry Anthony.
I have to take my mind off Adrian now, I have bigger plans.
“Good afternoon doctor Nasif” I greeted and exchanged my hand to greet the old doctor.
“Afternoon Miss Greene, it’s been a while….” The man replies.
“…. Have your seat”
I smile and sit down crossing my legs.
“My wedding is in 3 days Doctor Nasif, I need a face lift” I say and he looks at me confused.
“Miss Greene you are perfect already, I mean you’ve done the necessary surgeries already so….”
“Doctor Nasif, I want a face lift. Are you doing it or not”
“Fine no problem” He says and brings out a note, he writes something down and hands it to me.
“But if I may ask Miss Greene,why do you need this ”
“My wedding is in three days Doctor, I have to look perfect. My fiance is getting married to a supermodel not an ordinary person, a lot of stress and worrying has made my face slack a bit. I don’t need that for now” I reply and tear out a cheque from my cheque book. I fill in the details and hand it to the doctor.
“That’s $12,000”
“You don’t have to pay to me now Miss Greene”
“I trust you to do a perfect job” I said and smiled at him.
Celine’s Pov
I sat in the car with Adrian driving, my mind was filled with different thoughts. What happened this morning made me blush, I saw Adrian’s biggie. I had to laugh out.
“What’s funny?” Adrian asked and I nodded the negative.
“It’s nothing” I said folding my mouth trying hærd not to laugh.
I have to clear my head off such thoughts.
“So what interviews are we having today?” I asked.
“I need a new secretary” He replies.
“What if kat?”
“Long story”
“Adrian did you fire her”
“I didn’t but she won’t be working with us anymore” He replies. I sit back and think of what exactly happened to Kat.
Deandro’s Pov
I stared deeply at Celine’s picture, I might has well get obsessed with this woman. Her beauty and innocence stuns me and I would definitely not let Adrian win her, this is more than just a Jackpot.
I hand the photo to the artist, it was the picture taken when I asked her to come over in pretence of Adrian.
“Make sure it’s perfect, I want you to draw it on my gate. Everyone should know who Deandro has fallen for” I said and snatched the picture again inhaling the photo.
“Beautiful” I say smiling contently, the artist looks at me strangely. He must think I am mentally disturbed but sometimes you have to lose something to get something. I just can’t wait to have Celine and see Adrian destroyed finally.
Adrian’s Pov
I parked at the garage and saw the journalists and media already waiting for us in front of the company.
“Paparazzi, don’t they ever rest” Celine says tiredly.
“Adrian Vandermir already lost his heart to a woman and you think they won’t come” I say, I could see Celine was proud of herself.
I walk out of the car and Celine walks behind me, I hold her hand tightly to protect her from the journalists and media.
They sighed us and before I could say Johnson, we were surrounded already. Cameras flashing our faces and microphones pointed at us.
“MR VANDERMIR IS IT TRUE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR ENEMY YOUR LOVER”
“HAS THE GREAT ADRIAN VANDERMIR FINALLY FALLEN IN LOVE”
“IS IT TRUE THAT MISS GREENE IS THE SISTER TO THE WOMAN WHO BROKE YOUR HEART”
“HOW CAN YOU LOVE A WOMAN WHO IS RELATED TO THE WOMAN WHO BROKE YOUR HEART”
“MISS CELINE GREENE DO YOU REALLY LOVE MR VANDERMIR OR YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR THE MONEY”
“IS THIS JUST A PUBLICITY STUNT”
The questions kept on coming but I ignored them until a guy bumped into Celine and made her fall to the ground, that made me furious.
I grabbed his collar and punched his face, I knew this is going to trend tomorrow.
My security men were already pushing them out of the way while Celine tried releasing the guy from grip.
“Adrian it’s okay” She says pulling me away from him.
“IF ANYONE HAS MUCH HAS TOUCHES HER, THE PERSON WOULD REGRET EVER BEING BORN. YOU CAN PRINT THAT!!!” I yelled and pulled Celine away.
“You shouldn’t have done that, it was a mistake”
“HE TOUCHED YOU, I DON’T CARE IF IT WAS A MISTAKE OR NOT. HE HURT YOU IN MY PRESENCE, NOBODY DOES THAT AND GETS AWAY WITH IT” I say breathing hærd.
Celine’s Pov
For the first time I saw both anger and weakness in Adrian’s eye.
I touch his face and watch his eyes soften, I was happy I had that effect on him. I pulled myself in for a hug and embraced the man I loved.
“As long as I am with you Adrian,nothing bad would happen to me” I assure him
“You are my weakness Celine and I….”
“Shhhh” I place my finger on his l-ips.
“The interviewees waiting” I said and pulled him away, everyone looked at us murmuring.
We got to the elevators and I walked to the stairs but Adrian pulls me back and enters the elevator. My breathing pace increased but when Adrian held my hands it deceased slowly.
“You said as long as I was with you nothing would happen, I want you to trust me”
The elevator went up and I held Adrian’s hand tighter, my grip on his hand was so tight and I was sure it was hurting but he didn’t say anything.
The elevator stopped and I ran out immediately
Adrian chuckles and walks out, he puts his hand around my neck and we walk to his office, I look at the few women sitting outside his office ready to be interviewed.

The interview didn’t take much time and it wasn’t long before we chose the secretary. Her name’s Grace Moore, a young blonde woman, she’s a year younger than me but she looks so matured and boring.
I made coffee and walked to Adrian’s office, there was an elderly man standing opposite Adrian. He looked angry and the situation looked tense since Adrian wasn’t smiling at all.
He looks at me and corners his eyebrow , he seemed upset with me even if we’ve not met before.
“Oh this is her, the great Celine Greene. The lady who dared hurt my daughter”
“Mr Miller let’s settle this like matured people. Your daughter was the first person to trouble Celine and…”
“And dipping grass in,side my daughter’s mouth is the next option”
Ohh he’s that brat’s father.
“Fine I want you to choose between my partnersh¡p or this mental….”
“MR MILLER!!” Adrian yells. I could see that Mr Miller was scared.
“…. Leave my office” He continues and I could see Mr Miller was shocked, I was as well.
He walks towards Mr Miller standing taller than him and threatening him with his body.
“Leave my office” He says slowly, Mr Miller short of words walks outside saying some few swear words.
“Say bye bye to all my investment and I want my money back” He yells from outside.
“Adrian you shouldn’t have….”
“Save it Celine, drop the coffee and leave” He says, I could tell he was really upset. It was my fault he lost a business partner.
“Adrian you….”
“You know if you had just control your temper this wouldn’t have happened and I can never choose a business deal over you, because you Celine. You are my life and I can’t lose you but now I lost a business partner because your craziness is something you don’t know how to control”
He goes back to his seat while I stood there feeling guilty.
“Am sorry” I said and walked out slowly. I have to fix this.
I ran to the elevator and saw Mr Miller fuming angrily.
“Mr Miller ” I called out and apologized to him, something I never thought I could do.
Mary’s Pov
I knocked on the door of Fred’s lodge and a women opened the door, I was shocked at the fact that I wasn’t even surprised.
“Who you??” She asked.
I pushed her out of the way and walked in,side, Fred was in,side stark unclad with a cigarette on his hand. I never knew he smoked.
I ignored him and walked to the wardrobe, I got the rest of my clothes and walked out of his room.
I was hurt but I didn’t show it, Fred won’t see me hurt
On my way out of the hotel I met Wung Chan talking to a man, it was obvious they were talking business so I was just going to greet and walk away.
“Mary” He smiled happily like someone who had won the jackpot.
“Hi ” I said and walked away but he runs after me. I increased my pace and ignore his calls, I am not interested in any man again.
Celine’s Pov
Mr Miller looks at me smirking happily.
“So you want me to continue being business partners with Adrian”
I nod positively and he laughs evilly.
“You really upset my daughter but don’t worry i’ll consider your request but only on one condition”
I sighed deeply and thought of what Adrian said earlier.
“You know if you had just control your temper this wouldn’t have happened and I can never choose a business deal over you, because you Celine. You are my life and I can’t lose you but now I lost a business partner because your craziness is something you don’t know how to control”
This is all my fault and I have to fix it, I can’t let Adrian lose everything just because he’s in love with me.
“What condition??” I asked and he grins wickedly.
