I missed you Kingsley, Suzette’s last word ,left me short of words.

I missed you more Suzette, I said to her hugging her back, as if my life depends on her.

After what seems like ages, we disengage from the hug, a smile curved on her face.

I just wish that she will be smiling like this all the time cause it really looks good on her.

Oh nothing Suzette, let’s go in,side so that you can meet my mom.

I’m sorry Kingsley I can’t, maybe not today I came here with Trevor.

And my aunty and uncle will be waiting for at home,and I don’t want to keep Trevor waiting.

Suzette, even if you think that he is a changed person, I can’t bring myself to trust him.

What if ,he is just faking everything ,just to gain your trust.

I won’t forget little mom, I said as she smiled before I esc-rt her to the gate.

I left her as she entered Trevor’s car, good thing that his driver is with them.

And I trust Suzette, but as for Trevor I don’t trust him ,even for a bit.

I waved at her for the last time before the car drove out of sight.

After dropping Suzette ,few meter’s away from there house to avoid any problem from Amber nor her mom.

So many thought’s filled my head, ever since Isabella left to see dad , I really miss my sister.

Before she Left, her last warning kept ringing on my mind.

I paused in the bathroom hearing some thing like a ringtone.

I turned off the running water from the shower as I sighed realizing it really was my phone ringing.

Who could be calling?

I proceeded to grab my towel from the rack and then tied it round my wa-ist before unlocking the door opening it as I stepped out.

I dried my feet just outside the bathroom door and then looked forward to see my aunty.

“Aunty?”. I ask surprised. “What are you doing in my room?”.

“Its my house too, and besides your phone was ringing too loudly”.

She said pointing towards my phone which was on the bed.

“Ohhh”.

I held my towel tight before walking to my bed.

Aunty looked at me amusedly. “Trevor , what are you doing?”.

“Nothing!”.

“Are you hiding anything behind that towel? Look at the way you are gripping it tight”.

“Its nothing, aunty”.

She nodded and then plunged towards me as if she wanted to pull the towel.

“Aunt!!”. I shriek going backwards.

She laughed. “Gosh! Trevor, you can be so funny at times. Do you even know how long I bathed you , when your mom is not around?”.

“That was before not now”.

She merely nodded. “Its okay. I’ve heard you. I’m going to the mall to pick up the groceries now, are you still going?”.

“Yes, staying in this house all alone is boredom which equals death”.

Aunty rolled her eyes at my statement before walking over to my wardrobe.

I grabbed my phone on the bed as I checked who the caller was.

Two missed calls from Amber

Amber?

Why was she calling?

“So who was calling?”. Aunty asked as she opened my lockers.

“Amber. Aunty, what are you doing?”.

“You know, I’m beginning to suspect you and that girl, even though you say she’s just a friend.

Trust me, a boy and a girl can’t be friends together without one of then falling in love with the other”.

“I don’t care. I don’t like amber ,at least not anymore . and even if she loves me sure she will get over it .

And what are you doing searching through my clothes?”.

She sighed placing her hands on her h¡ps. “I’m trying to look for an outfit for you”.

“I don’t need you to find me an outfit, its my wardrobe and I’m sure I can select my clothes myself”.

“Seriously?”. Aunty turned to me. “Is it wrong for an aunty to want her nephew to look cute? Is it?”.

I gro-ned. “I’m not going to let you sweet talk me into this. I can choose what I want to wear by myself and i know I look cute in anything”.

“Since when did you start getting all c*cky? And who told you, you are cute in anything?”. She asked closing my lockers and wardrobes. “Or those girls in your school are already deceiving you?”.

“What? No! There is no one and there can’t be anything “. I reply sitting on the bed.

“I don’t believe you. Trevor, i know there is a girl but you just don’t want to tell me. Don’t worry, I’ll find out myself”.

“How?”. I ask laughing. “You don’t even know anybody in my school apart from Amber ,Kingsley and Kim”.

My laughter faded. “What?”.

“I know Kingsley too. So how is he doing ?”.

I shrug. “I don’t know. Wasn’t it Dad that said he was a bad influence on me and forced me to detach from him?”.

“He wasn’t a bad influence on you, your Dad was just making an excuse to … ” My aunty sighed cutting shut.

‘So you haven’t spoken to Kingsley since?”.

I gro-ned. “Aunty, I’m sure he’s fine. He friends with this our new Girl, Suzette. She was helping him with his loneliness, I guess “.

“So he already has a girlfriend and you don’t?”.

“Aunty!!”. I whined.

She smiled. “What? I’m just asking”.

“Hell no , aunty they are just friend’s even if Kingsley loves her , he can’t date her.

Why ?

I frowned. “Aunty, whats happening? I thought you should be on my side and not asking me questions about Kingsley.

Aunty Kingsley is now in my past, even though we are on the same class, we won’t be friends again.

At least that’s what ,dad and mom ,wants ,up until now I wonder what really happened between Kingsley and Dad.

Trevor don’t let it bother, you all I want you to know is that Kingsley is a good friend.

Your Dad, is who to be blamed for everything and I wish you can forgive your dad , when the truth comes out.
