🌷Lucas’s POV🌷

I was on my way to the cafeteria to get some snacks. I haven’t been the same since Amber left me. I loved her so much despite her c*cky personality and I was ready to change her but instead she dumped me. We always go to the cafeteria together but now I’m going alone.

I passed by her class when I heard the students laughing and she is yelling. I was curious to know what was going on so I stood there and watched. It’s like she has gotten a maid for herself. Show off!

I scoffed and turned to leave but the sound of a tray crashing on the floor made me halt. I turned around and saw the tears in the girl’s eyes. I watched as she ran out and came back but Amber still maltreated her. I just couldn’t take it anymore.

“That’s enough Amber. Don’t you have a heart?” I asked, walking towards them.

She glared at me but I ignored it and went to stand beside the girl. She is already crying.

“This is just an act of pure wickedness,” I said facing Amber.

“Stay out of this Lucas,” She replied.

“I can’t stay out of this Amber. This is wickedness,” I said trying to stop myself from yelling at her.

“Call it whatever you like, weirdo. She is my maid and I have the right to do whatever I like to her,” She snapped angrily.

“Her being your maid doesn’t give you the right to treat her this way. She is a human and not an animal. Show some respect.”

“She might be human to you but to me she is a freaking F-cking animal,” She yelled.

“Amber,” I called her curtly.

“I get that you are a nice guy but that’s not enough reason for you to poke into my business,” She continued still feeling irritated.

“She’s right dude. This isn’t your class so quit bugging in,” Trevor,the jerk chimed in.

Just who does he think he is. First, he stole my girlfriend now he’s assisting her in attacking me. Anyways, I’m not in the mood for trouble, so I’ll just pretend I heard nothing they said.

I looked at the girl and held her hand. “Follow me,” I said but she was reluctant.Seems she’s scared of Amber.

“C’mon,I won’t bite. I just wanna get you cleaned up” I said. She was about leaving when Amber stopped her.

“Go with him and you’re as good as dead,” Amber threatened and she stiffened. I held her tightly and dragged her out while Kim followed us.

💧Amber’s POV💧

Who the F-cking hell does he think he is interfering in my personal affairs like that?

“Urghhh!,” I slammed my fist on the desk.

“Is she living with you?,” Trevor asked.

“Yeah, she is my maid,” I replied.

“No need to get worked up then. There are other ways to deal with her,” Trevor said.

“How?” I scoffed.

“She’s your maid and she also stays in the same house with you. So deal with her there mercilessly and then you can gradually do it here in school. She’ll wish she never followed that punk.”

“That sounds good but I hate it when Lucas interferes. Why does he care? Is he into her or something?,” I asked.

“You broke up with him so if he’s into her,why should you care? It’s his loss for loving a maid,” Trevor laughed mockingly.

He’s right but I’m worried about something else. What if she regains her memory and I lose everything? This thought alone haunts me day and night and that’s what has makes me hate her more. I can’t imagine losing this luxury to her. Not now… Not ever!

“What are you thinking about?,” Trevor’s voice brought me out of my reverie.

“What did you say?” I asked him simply.

“Are you sure you’re okay? You were so lost in thoughts,” Trevor said.

“I’m fine,” I replied curtly and left.

I’ll discuss with mum immediately I get home.

🌼Suzette’s POV🌼

I was relieved that there was actually a nice person in the school and scared that Amber would surely feed madam Tasha lies about me when we get home.

The fear of what she’ll do to me made me shudder.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a hand brush my face. I opened my eyes to see the guy that helped me clean my face.

“Does it hurt?,” He asked gently and I shook my head negatively.

He smiled and continued wiping my face and hands. He is really nice and cute too. I recall Amber calling him Lucas.

“Done,“ he said and I looked up to meet his eyes.

He has such mesmerizing orbs. The first person to show me kindness since I came.

“Thank you” I managed to smile.

“What about your dress? How do we handle it?,” He asked,with alot of concern.

“I guess I’ll wait outside till it dries off a little,” I said.

“But that means you’ll miss a class,” He answered.

“I have no choice. If I go in like this,the students are going to laugh and make fun of me,“ I sniffed.

“Sorry about that,” He said soothingly.

“Thanks. Thank you for saving me too. I really appreciate what you’ve done.”

He smiled.

“You’re welcome.”

“Hi guys,” I heard someone call and turned to see Kim, the beautiful girl that defended me the other time.

“Hi,” Lucas smiled and she returned it with a beautiful smile.

“Hey Suzette, how are you now? Hope you aren’t hurt anywhere?,” Kim asked and I could sense the worry in her voice.

“I’m fine now. Thanks,” I answered.

“Um…Kim do you have any spare clothes in your bag? She really needs to change,” Lucas said.

“Yes, I do. I’ll go get it right away.“

“Please don’t. It’s going to cause another trouble for me,” I said and they sighed.

“How did you end up with those maniacs in the first place?,” Lucas asked.

“I really don’t know. I can’t remember anything about myself. I don’t even know who I am,” I answered,tearing up.

“You mean, you have amnesia?,” Lucas asked and I nodded.

“They only told me I was their maid and that’s all. I tried asking Amber to tell me a little story about my past since she said she knows me but they all refused. The only thing they told me was that my parents are dead and my name is Suzette.”

Kim stood quietly and listened to everything I said. I turned to her.

“You are Amber’s friend right? You must know a few things about my past,” I said.

“I really don’t know anything. It hasn’t been long since I and Amber became friends,” she replied.

“Oh!,” I said.

🌀Lucas’s POV🌀

She must really have a terrible past and if it’s like that, why won’t Amber tell her? All these are really suspicious.

I think there is more to her past than they are telling her. I need to get to the bottom of this.

“Have you tried visiting a doctor?,” I asked her.

“I’m never allowed to go out of the house,” she replied sadly.

“Since they said you’re their maid,have you tried exploring the house? There might be things you may remember,” I said.

“No, I haven’t tried that.“

“I think you should try it but it should be when they aren’t around so you won’t get caught, okay?” I said.

“Okay,” She smiled.

She really has a cute smile.

🍂Amber’s POV🍂

The day went by quickly and the bell rang signifying that school was over for the day.

I watched as the bitçh put her books in her bag and I couldn’t help but hate her to the core.

I took my backpack and without saying anything to anyone, stormed out of the class. She followed me and I felt irritated.

We got outside and the chauffeur was already waiting. I entered the car

“Drive,” I ordered.

“What about Suzette?,” He asked.

“Don’t make me repeat myself.”

He started the engine and we drove off leaving Suzette. She would have to trek home. Foolish girl.

We got home and I stormed in. Luckily mum was around.

“Mum,we have a problem,” I said sitting down.

“What happened?,” She asked

“Suzette was hanging around with all the boys in class today. If you see the naughty things she was doing with them. I even asked her to come with me but she refused saying she wants to spend time with the guys,” I quickly told her.

“What!!! Where is she?”

“With the guys of course.”

I saw mum fuming in anger and I smiled. I can’t wait to see her getting punished today.

“Mum I also want to discuss something very important with you.”

“Sure. Go ahead.”

“We need to find a way of erasing Suzette’s memories for good.“
