👀 EPISODE 2 👀

🍂 Daphne’s POV 🍂

I walked within the house and came back to sit on the floor

Everywhere is quiet as usual

I put my head between my knees letting my hair fall over my face

Am like a living corpse

I’ve tried many times to kill myself
I stabbed myself, tried to to cut off my head but I healed

I’ve hanged myself and I can’t remember the last time I ate but even at that, am still breathing

I didn’t die

I can’t go out because of the pain from feeling people’s emotions

And I can’t die though I want to

I guess am Cursed to living in this burnt house for eternity

But am tired

Am tired of living this Cursed life

I wanna die

I need help
Someone please help me

🍂 Liam’s POV 🍂

I walked to my house and opened the door

Charlie was in the sitting room

“Woke up in the woods again huh” he said

“Let me be Charlie” I said

“Just give a try, go there and find out why all this is happening to you” he said but I kept quiet

I walked past him and went to bathroom

I took my bath and went to my room

I wore a t-shirt and a short

I came out of my room and went to the kitchen

I still have a bread left so I decided to toast it

“How long till you turn 30?” Charlie suddenly asked from behind

“A week” I replied

“You have to go there Liam”

“Am going nowhere, my life is already messed up as it is, can’t afford to mess it up more”

“So you choose to die?” he asked looking at me

“At least I’ll be free from this Cursed life then” I said

“You are too stubborn for your own good Liam” he said and walked out of the kitchen

I finished toasting the breads and then I fried some eggs

I took everything to the dining table and sat down one of the chairs

“Come eat your breakfast Charlie” I called

Moments later, he came and we began to eat our breakfast in silence

We finished breakfast and I took the dishes to the kitchen

Am tired now, I’ll wash the dishes later

I went to the sitting room and joined Charlie on the movie he was watching

“Aren’t you going to work?” He asked

“Nope I quitted yesterday, I should probably look for a new job now” I replied

“What’s the point of doing that since you’ll be dieing in week’s time” he said and I kept silent

Charlie has a way of spoiling one’s mood

“Are you really ready to die Liam?” He asked and I sighed

“Am not afraid of death” I replied

“That’s not the answer to my question, are you ready to die?” He asked again

“Yes, there’s nothing for me to live for anymore” I said

“You can’t die Liam, if you die, the Walker bloodline dies with you”

“Why is that?” I asked “you are still alive and it’s not too late to have your own family and the bloodline lives on”

“I can’t have my own family Liam, am sterile” he said calmly

“What!!!”

“It’s not that I don’t want to have kids, I can’t”

“Ohh, am sorry I didn’t know” I said

“It’s fine, now you understand why you have to live Liam, you have to stay alive for the Walker family to live on” he said

“I don’t really care about the bloodline stuff, and am not going to complicate my life more than it already is” I said

“What?” He said surprised

“My life is miserable already Charlie so if death is really gonna come for me soon, I’ll embrace it”

“You have to live for the family” he said raising his voice

“There’s no family for me to live for”

“Then create one” he yelled

“I don’t wanna” I yelled back

“We Walkers have walked on the surface of this Earth for centuries and I won’t let your stubbornness, ego, stupidity and ignorance end our bloodline” he said and stormed out of the house

I sighed

Why is everything turning upside down in my life

Am really not afraid to die

I’ve nothing to live for anymore, I’ve no purpose

And I really don’t care about keeping the bloodline going stuff

🍂 Daphne’s POV 🍂

I feel something

It’s painful

That feeling of curiousness poking my skin like a thousand needles

Someone is coming close to the house

The closer the person was the more intense the pain

Its as if am being shredded into pieces

I can’t bear it anymore

“Ahhhh!!!” I scre-med

🍂 Liam’s POV 🍂

“Oh my God” I said as felt a chill

I just heard her scre-m

I heard Daphne scre-m

I don’t know who Daphne is neither do I have any idea how I know all this

I felt another chill feeling run through me and I hiccuped

“She’s in pain, she’s in the danger” I said as I ran out of the house towards the woods

I ran into the woods without a second thought

“She’s in pain, she’s in danger” I kept saying as I ran

I don’t know where am going but I kept running

I came upon a house in the deep part of the woods and I stopped

It looked burnt, old and abandoned

There were two boys in front of the house

“I’ve heard rumors that this house is hunted” one of them said

“Then let’s check it ourselves, I really wanna know if it’s true” the other boy said as he put a hand on the door knob to open the door

“Ahhhh!!!”

I heard her scre-m again, louder and clearer this time

The boys heard it too and they stopped

I walked up to them

“This place is not save, go home boys” I said and they quickly ran away

I stood in front of the door

There were no more scre-ms

Should I go in or should I go back home

‘You’ve avoided this for long Liam, you are already here you might as well go in’ my subconscious mind said I agreed

I put my hand on the door knob and waited

There was no scre-m

Then I opened the door

🍂 Daphne’s POV 🍂

Someone opened the door and was coming towards me

But for the first time since I turned 5, I feel… I feel nothing

I can’t feel his emotions

“Hello” he said as he stopped in front of me

I raised my head from my knees and he flinched

I don’t blame him, I probably look like a ghost with my hair all over my face

“Daphne?” He called a little unsure

How did he knows my name

“You are Daphne” he said

“You were the one calling for me right?”

I didn’t call for him

I don’t even know him

“Now am here, what do you want that you wouldn’t let me live in peace for 22 years”

What is he saying

Who is he

Why can’t I feel his emotion

Not that I want to though, this is the first time in 22 years that someone is standing in front of me and yet I feel peaceful

“Answer me!” He yelled but I kept staring at him

“You aren’t going to say a thing?” He asked but I just kept looking at him

Am really fascinated by all this

“Hmmph” he scoffed “I knew this was a crazy idea in the first place” he said and walked out of the house

Immediately he walked out, that feeling of emptiness came

Seeing him walked away triggered something in me

And then I felt a liquid dropping them my face

Am crying?

Why?

How am I connected to that guy?

🍂 Liam’s POV 🍂

I walked out of the old house and found my way out of the woods

I knew this was a stupid idea in the first place

I walked back home and met Charlie in the sitting room

He came back already after he stormed out of the house this morning

“Did you fall asleep and wake up in the woods again?” He asked but I walked past him and went to my room

I sat on the bed with both hands on my head

Who is that girl?

Why is she alone in the woods?

How did I know she’s Daphne?

I feel like am connected to her but how?

The door opened and Charlie came in

“Please let me be Charlie, am not ready for your talks again” I said

“I just came to tell you that I cooked in case you are hungry” he said and left the room

I stayed on my bed for like an hour thinking about Daphne

Am curious

I wanna know what’s going on

Why is all this happening?

I stood up from the bed and went to the sitting room

“What’s going on here?” I asked Charlie

A lady was with him and from the first glance you can tell she’s a call girl

“I was about to call you Liam” Charlie said standing up

“Look what I’ve got for you, isn’t she beautiful?” he asked

“What are you up to now Charlie?” I asked

“What else, am trying to keep our lineage alive. Go wait for him in the room he just came out from” he said to the girl and she started moving towards my room

“Stop!!” I yelled and she cringed

“Follow me” I said to Charlie in a flat voice and I walked to the kitchen

“What the hell are you trying to do?” I asked immediately he came into the kitchen

“I already told you, trying to keep our lineage alive” he said with a serious look

“So you want to keep our lineage alive through a wh-re?” I asked

“Am desperate” he said with a shrug

“Well am not going to be part of this so get that girl out of my house”

“Am not doing such a thing” he said

“What”

“You aren’t the only one that can be stubborn Liam, it’s either you go into your room with that girl or you answer whoever is calling you and go to the woods” he said and I scoffed

“I already went to the woods” I said

“Really?” Charlie asked surprised

“Yeah and guess what, I only saw a lonely girl who can’t even speak in an abandoned old house” I said

“Nothing happened when you went there? Cause my visions are never wrong and you know that” He asked

“It’s just strange, I was at home but I heard her scre-m, I knew she was in pain, her name is Daphne Hills but I do not know how I know her name, I feel connected to her somehow” I said

“Take me there, I wanna see her” Charlie said

“Now?” I asked

“Now” he replied

“But it’s really dark already” I said

“We can take a Torchlight” he replied

“Fine, at least you’ll stop nagging at me all the time after you see her” I said

We walked out of the kitchen and the call girl was still there

Charlie gave her some money “you can go” he said and the girl left

“Get the Torchlight and let’s go” he said

I went to my room, wore a jacket and took a torchlight

Charlie and I walked out of the house towards the woods

We walked into the woods and everywhere was really dark and quiet

We walked deeper into the woods and the quietness was starting to freak me

I sighted the house and pointed at it “that’s the house” I said

And we began to walk faster towards it

“Ahhhh!!!” I heard Daphne scre-m and Charlie and started running to the house

The closer we got, her scre-m seems to intensify

We opened the door and her scre-m were almost deafening

What’s going on

Why is she scre-ming so much

I saw her sitting on the floor just like I met her before

Her were clutching her head and she was scre-ming her lungs out

She’s in so much pain

Charlie stood in front of her while I walked to her side

“Everything’s gonna be fine” I said as I brought out my hand to touch hers

And then everything happened so fast

The moment I held her, she stopped scre-ming and a blue light seems to be emanating from our hands

I looked at Charlie and he was saying some inaudible things

I flashed the torchlight I was holding on him and what I saw gave me a shock

Charlie was saying something and it was becoming audible
“One Cursed soul in two bodies
You are Cursed for eternity
History repeats itself
They have sensed you
And they are coming
Finding your roots might help” Charlie said in a high-pitched voice and then slumped down on the ground
