Chapter Eighteen:
Ares
Opening the door I step into the house, without Zoe in here this place feels so cold and its hærd to believe I have been living this way before she badge into my life uninvited
” here Ares, drink something ” Zar hand over a cup of blood, fresh blood ” before you asked, I got it from the servant you bit last time ” nodding my head I gulp everything in only to throw them out again, the cup fall from my hands breaking into tiny pieces
” what sort of blood is that…. Are you trying to poison me ” coughing I fall to my knees trying to bring it all out of my body, Xar looked surprised and unsure of what’s happening
” nothing is wrong with the blood I taste it myself” Xar voice echo, my wh0le body is beginning to tremble now ” that blood was very bitter…. I can’t drink that ” within seconds different maids came but each blood I taste felt the same
Horrible, bitter and disgusting
” don’t tell me you ” Zar frown ” you drink from Zoe…..your body only desire her blood” shaking my head I couldn’t see clearly anymore ” we need to get her, you have stayed too long without blood ”
” No” my voice cracking ” it’s December 23, January is close…she must stay away from us ”
” are you nuts” Xar is yelling now ” you might die in few days and you are still pushing her away, you might decline your feeling but your body is accepting her…..you need her blood ”
” and I said no” squeezing my hands I force myself to raise to my feet ” you will not meet or talk to her, that’s an order ” my voice fill with command and anger but I know I will lose my shit any moment from now
” yes sir ”
” if we have known your situation we won’t have force you to drink some other blood….it look like it trigger your body for her blood the more” Zar step forward, I couldn’t see clearly anymore ” we won’t bring Zoe here but just know your death isn’t in our hands ”
Nodding I smiled before my body fall down, coughing my eyes lids were getting heavy, just need some rest ” Ares!!”
Zoe
” why did you run away from the party, jack was so worried last night ” may grumble the moment she walk into the class room, taking off my bag I open it and bring out my notebooks, completely ignoring her ” Zoe???”
” I don’t want to talk about may, can’t we just sit quietly and learn. I really need to get back on tracks in school ” I watch her nod and I smile
I have decided to forget Ares and continue with my life, I never met him and that’s how it should be ” quick question” may lean in ” why haven’t you dye your hair back to black ”
” I love red ” I simply said not giving a damn that people are murmuring about me right now. The teacher walk in, I furrow my brows, what is Zar doing here and as a teacher???
” good morning students… I will be needing just two of your class mates today, Zoe and may please step forward then outside ” may stare at me and I shrugged not knowing what’s happening too
Walking out of the class, Zar gaze was fix on may the wh0le time ” you have grown ugly ” he said not even caring about may feelings, may clench her fist, obviously pissed. Do they hate each other
” hello, am here ” I wave my hands ” why am I here anyway, looks like you just want to see may ” turning around he hold my hands to stop me
” I need your help” I furrow my brows and he purred on ” is Ares Zoe, he is dieing ”
” how is that my problem, why should I care ” I fold my hands watching Zar run his hands through his hair ” you should care because its your fault”
” My fault, if I remember correctly he was the one that pushed me away, saying we are sibling and now he needs my help ”
” if he didn’t taste your blood he won’t have been in this shit” Zar yell ” he is addicted to you Zoe and if he doesn’t have you soon, he will die ”
May confused gaze met mine and I exhale ” am sorry” I said ” am no longer his pet, he can go to hell for all I care ” turning around am barely standing here
” you know where to find him ” I listen to his steps vanish ” what’s that talk of blood about…Ares takes blood?? Is he a vampire ” may confuse voice echo in my ears
” I don’t know may….I truly have no idea what he is anymore ” I let my hands fall at my side, am not meeting Ares, I am over him, I don’t care if anything happens to him ” we should get back to class”
After the lessons, we grab our bags and head home ” see you tomorrow may!!” Waving at her she smiled before running to meet up with her other friends, walking home I decided not to think about Ares, not to imagine the state he will be in, not to imagine anything leading to him at all
” mum, dad, am home!!” Throwing my bag on the couch I hurried to the dining room ” how was school Zoe ” dad asked the moment I sit down
” it was great dad ”
” Zoe will you be able to read us a bed time story today ” martin asked and I nod, his eyes beam up as he continue feasting on his meal
Opening my plate, I prayed and start eating ” I love your cooking mum ” I said watching her smile ” thanks honey ” the dinner was quite and peaceful
Walking to my room, I shower and put on a red pajamas before entering martin and Marston room, sitting on the bed I tuck them in ” ready for your story ”
” why haven’t we seen your boyfriend ” Marston question took me off guard, I have no way to answer him ” I think he was really cute and he looked at you lovely ”
” or he looks like he wants to eat her ” martin and Marston argument continued and I sigh, listening to every word they say
” he must really miss you Zoe…you have been away for weeks ” Marston gaze met mine and I frown ” he don’t miss me Marston and are you driving me out of this house?? ” tickling him I watch him giggle
” tell us you guys story, that way we can sleep ” martin purred eagerly and they lay down waiting
” no but I will tel you an interesting novel I love read” they nod and I purred
” once Upton a time, a young lady decided to go to her hidden apartment to read, she passed through this dark path and suddenly a gun was pointed at her head, the stranger decided to use her as bait to drive out his enemies ”
” did it work ” Marston asked and I chuckle ” let me finish okay ”
” after his enemies run away he told her to stay away from dark paths then vanish but this lady had a huge crush on him, search for him for weeks but couldn’t find him, felt like he disappeared from the world but one fateful school day she caught him in the principal office, he kidnapped her, take her to his house. They talked for awhile and her crush was growing to love, he left her once again” I swallowed ” the next evening they met in a ball, they danced and at that moment she knew she loved him, she will do anything for him ” but he kept pushing me away from him
” looks like they are destined to meet ” martin yawn ” good night Zoe ” turning off their lights, I k-ss each of their forehead, hurried to my room, grab my jacket and out of the house, straight to Ares

Chapter Nineteen:
Zoe
Arriving I didn’t waste time in knocking, opening the door I step in,side, cold air swirl round my body, hugging myself I try warming my arms a little ” you’re here ” Zar voice echo in the room as he run down the stairs
” this place is freezing ” I muttered ” where is he ” Zar grab my hands as we fasten our steps to the third floor, stopping in front of Ares room door, I blink. Do I really want to see him
His first rule come back to me ‘ never step into my room’ if I go in there I will break the rule ” Zoe?? Are you okay ” starring at Zar I shook my head, what will be his reaction when seeing me
” I don’t want to see him ” I said more in a whisper ” I don’t want to step into that room” Zar stare at me for awhile before pushing the door open, the cold wind that blew out freeze me at a s₱0t
How can someone sleep in such a place, how cold can he get ” go on Zoe, we don’t have much time ” nodding I step in but Zar remain outside ” you know what to do ” with that he shut the door
Looking round the room I couldn’t believe what am seeing, his bed placed in the middle, I look at the left hand side, injections of different sizes are placed there, lots of them
Everything completely dark, not a single bright colour is in here, my gaze move to the ceiling and I flinch, the same skull tattoo on his back is drawn on the ceiling
Who are you Ares
Moving to his bed side I watch how pale is face has gotten, he looks dead and weak, tucking his hair behind his ear he muttered taking me off guard ” that idiot brought you here didn’t he ” his eyes slowly open, those silver eyes I grow to love so much ” go away Zoe ” I could see his fangs elongating ” am not my usual self”
Not saying anything I run my hands through his hair then move to his face ” don’t order me around” his hands grab my wrist as he sit up right, his gaze met mine and I shivered from the intensity, he looks Scarry. Lines formed in his forehead
” I need you to leave Zoe ”
Pulling my hands out of his i Slap his face, his head didn’t move but my finger print is there ” I said you don’t order me around anymore….am not your pet ” squeezing my hands his gaze didn’t bulge from my face ” did you miss me ” I had to asked, I watch him furrow his brows
” yes ” he muttered and I was shocked, I expected him to denied it, to push me away ” will you leave now?? ”
” No” I pull his blanket away and sit on his lap, his face full with confusion, taking off my jacket I tie my hair into a messy bum ” you need blood and you will get it ”
” get off me Zoe” he gro-n but I shook my head ” am not obeying you tonight…do you want to die that badly, you want me to stay away from you, I will do that after you drink my blood ” his face emotionless, those eyes dark with things I don’t understand
” you’re in my room ” is that what he have been thinking ” why are you in my room??”
” oh god Ares, just bite me ” yelling I watch him move his hands, titling my hand to my left, waiting for his hands I gasp the moment he grab my tits instead ” What are you doing??”
He lean close, his tongue lick my neck ” relax, I like a little forepl-y before eating ” his hands m-ssage my tits while his tongue licked my neck
The wh0le room suddenly got hot, the cold vanish and hottest emitted from our body pressed together, straddling him just the way he like it, I heard him gro-n
I could feel how hærd he is, swirling my h¡ps back and forth, his hands fall to my wa-ist to guide ” touch me little mouse ” I stopped moving, this isn’t why I came here but why can’t I resist him, the sound of his zip echo in the room and the next moment, he free himself ” you need blood not this”
” I need both” he muttered, his voice sound so painful, like he is in pain. Swallowing, for the first time I looked down, my breathing got heavier, I stare at what he calls his c*ck
Its huge, trailing my fingers on it, I touch the tip and drop of liquid pour out, move my hands down, I tried rounding my hands around it but its impossible, I move back up and watch it jump
I remember he looked it when I move up and down so I did just that, my gaze move to his face and I did miss this expression, he bit his l-ips s€×ually, his hair messy, I want to k-ss him
Leaning close to him I didn’t stop my assault as my l-ips crush on his, he gasp and I deepen the k-ss, fastening my hands around him, he mo-n before spilling the same liquid, all over my hand

Pulling back I stare at him, he lick his l-ips, blood at the corner of his l-ips ” little mouse ” he car-ss my cheek but I slap his hands, stand to my, grab my pajamas button it up ” little mouse… Wait!!” He jump to his feet, zipping up his trousers but am already out of the house
Ares
Opening my room door I fasten my steps to catch up with her, running down the stairs I fasten my step and stood in front of her before she leave ” what wrong ”
” I don’t really fancy k-ssing my brother or Letting him touch me ” squeezing my hands I could see how much I hurt her ” and I don’t think you want me here anyway ”
” little mouse……”
” don’t call me that!!” Tears are forming in her eyes ” don’t you dare call me that, you keep pushing me away, day after day you keep pushing me away and am tired of forcing myself on someone that don’t want me, you’re right” she clean her tears ” being your pet was painful and is still painful ” she shove me aside before running out of the house
