Yawning I stretch my hands before sitting up on the bed, looking around Ares is no where to be found in the room, standing up I move to the bathroom, brush my teeth, put on my yellow p-nties then step out

Shaking my head I jump to my feet, I should go and greet Ares, haven’t seen him today. Opening my room door I head towards his room but Charles voice stop me
” he isn’t there miss Zoe ” turning around to face him, he said more ” he is in the library ” I was surprised
” they is a library here??” He nod flashing me a smile
” on the first floor ” with that he turn around back to his work, moving to the elevator I pressed the first floor waiting patiently and the moment the door opened I looked around
Only one room with a very huge door, moving towards that direction I open the door slowly and tip toed in,side, my gaze fall on Ares
His legs cross over, he put on glasses, holding a book and wearing this black shorts and blue top. Even as a nerd he still look like a Greek god ” will you keep starring ” he muttered bringing me back to live
” morning Ares” I move close to him k-ssing his cheek ” you can read?” The words came out of my mouth before I even realized what I said
He stare at me, brows inched high ” you thought I didn’t go to school ” he titled his head to the left like he is studying me and waiting patiently for my answer
” well not really but I did have a feeling about you being handsome with no brains” his l-ips curve up, what am I saying ” you amaze me Ares” I hope this clears up the wrong words
He throw his head back and chuckle ” little mouse…..look around, am not only handsome, I do like reading not always anyway but I read ” looking around I notice the wh0le room is really huge
Moving to my left, a book caught my attention ” vampires at dawn” pulling it out I open the first page, then the second, third and I became a little confuse, Ares is a vampire but he doesn’t have a mate??
Turning around I walk towards him ” Ares” he didn’t respond, taking a look at his book I roll my eyes at the name ‘ how to slaughter thousands at once’ seriously, all he think about is killing
Pulling a single hair out of his head got his attention, he look at me confused ” do you have a mate, I thought all paranormal creatures have a mate”
” they do”
” so do you have one ” sitting down opposite him, I waited for his reply, he close his book, take off his glasses and sigh
” I do have a mate little mouse ” he muttered and my heart crack a bit, I do know it isn’t me, once a vampire sees his mate they realize immediately but when Ares saw me he pushed me away
That’s what I keep reading about vampires anyway and it looks like its real ” little mouse, why are you frowning ” he muttered, looking a bit amuse by my reaction ” don’t you wish for me to have a mate ”
” No” the words came out again and I frown. Today is one of the worst days

” we have the mark of location, giving you that mark means wherever the pet is or goes the master knows, we also have the mind bonded marks, whatever the pets think the master knows” Ares un cross his leg and sit properly ” now the mind bonded mark is the most necessary to the vampires, to know how the pets think or if they have the intension of poisoning the master” Ares smile ” then we have the soul bonded marks which means their soul is one, this mark is given to whoever they decided to live together with forever, making that person his mate ” he exhale ” so little mouse, vampires doesn’t allow the gods to select mates for them besides am not even a full vampire, so you don’t have to worry about that ”
His gaze is back to his book but something seem to be bothering me ” why haven’t you given me any of these marks” I asked, Ares gaze met mine and he know am serious with this question
” because you’re not ready ” he simply said while inching his brows high ” are you okay, you’re being a bit feisty today ” folding my hands I stare back at him, ignoring his question I said
