Prologue :

Her cries increased and the fear of the baby not coming out is devastating, what was her next plan after this she never knew but she will prefer dieing instead of her child

The sound of water dripping increased, the water fall seem to have notice her problem and decided to shut her up by increasing its noise. Just like the wh0le world have decided to shut her out even the man she loved

” shit!!” Yelling she could feel her strength giving way, she won’t make it and if she don’t hurry her child might also die

The sound of footsteps caught her attention, her heart jumped to fear, have they find her, have they come to finish their work. To kill her and this unfortunate child

The pains increased and she pushed, pushed with her strength but nothing is working. Cracking of sticks made her turn her head to the left, a man run in, his body fill with blood, the sword in his right hand have blood dripping off it

His gaze met her and she cursed under her breath ” please don’t kill me” tears drop from my eyes and he shook his head, drop his sword and move closer, his face coming to view

” why will I kill you when I don’t know you ” this isn’t someone to be scared of, his silver eyes fill with coldness but she knew kindness is in him. He fall to his knees beside me, taking my hand in his, he checked my pulse and touch my stomach ” you don’t have enough life in you anymore miss, I can help you bring the child out but it will cost you your life or I kill the child with magic and let you survive ”

Shaking my head I hold his hand ” help me bring my child out, I don’t care if I die…please ” he nod and echo some ancient spells out, a light shined bright from his hand as he place it on my stomach

I could feel my body getting refresh with strength, I pushed, pushed and pushed, the moment the child came out i gasp for air, my wh0le body going weak second by second

” its a girl ” he muttered and I smile

” Zoe, her name is Zoe ” holding her tiny hands tears flow out ” please take care of her, get her out of here as far as possible ” her cries increased and I giggle

” who is after her ”

” the dark nights, they needed me for their latest development but now that am gone they will come for her and other creatures will want her. She is a rare breed, You must go to the city,make her live with the humans ” starring at him I smile ” I know you don’t know me nor do you have a reason to help and I know you’re pretty young….probably Twenty seven?”

“Two hundred” he muttered and I chuckled

” for a young boy you sure can fight but I know you are running from something, I don’t have much time and I know we were destined to meet” holding his hands I squeeze them ” take care of my child boy ” those where her last word before giving up

Ares look at the little child in his hands, she just won’t stop crying and it is pretty annoying, titling the child head to the left, the five star tattoo caught his attention

Her being a descendent of the moon clan changes everything, being part of the dark nights means I have to kill this child

This abomination

Shaking his head he rise to his feet, clean up the child, find some clothes and wrap her in it, wrote her name in a paper. They is no way he is keeping this child

Running out of the water fall he fasten his steps to the city, the wh0le place quite, the sound of insects only fill the wh0le way

Finding a well built house, he stare at it for awhile before dropping the child at the door and ring the bell. Two minutes and no one came out

Ringing it again he heard footsteps as he quickly hide else where, he watch the woman look at the child, she smiled and lift her up ” Zoe, your name is Zoe??”

This is where she belong, in order for her to live safe just like her mother wanted and she should pray we don’t cross paths ever again or else

Am piercing my sword into her heart

This story is about two worlds coming together, Zoe and Ares

Ares being part of a dark night took a oak to live by and killing descendants of the moon are what they live for, they regard them as abomination to the world

What are descendants of the moon

Why are they referred to as abomination

What do Zoe mother mean by saying rare breed

How will their love story be, are they even destined to be together??
