Adultery or unfaithfulness is the worst thing in marriage. That’s the only reason marriage can be separated.

They headed in the evening of same day to the former security house (Toyin’s concubine). The compound was silent as grave while the door w¡dened that this young man laid lifeless on his bed. They rushed in, checked his pulse.
Second officer:
Oga! I have never seen any crime or case so studious as this. Every time we seem getting to the root, we always meet a useless and wasteful end. Are we sure this isn’t spiritual? And moreover, I’m tired!
He turned the lifeless man over and over on the bed and demand the officer helpful hand while they took him into their car, as they drove off. Shadow brought him to the same hospital he had been treated. He told the officer to check on his colleague in his ward while he admitted the lifeless man into the last room at the back of the hospital, very close to their mortuary and told the doctor to ensure the man survive because he is nearly their last hope to expose the crime. He checked on the first officer who was receiving treatment earlier on. He has been recovering and appreciated shadow for everything. He (shadow) lied to the two officers that the corpse was kept in mortuary and told them the case is over and right now, he need to see Chioma, the love of his life.

Chioma was surprised seen shadow at her door. Questioned him rigorously, asking him to leave his house.
 
Chioma:
(angrily)
I don’t want to see you ever again. Please leave my house. In fact, you’re irritating me. I called you a friend, gave you work to do, but you disappointed me. Well, I should have known you would certainly support your family. That’s your work to throw an innocent soul into prison.
 
Shadow:
(Pleadingly)
I know I have wronged you. What can I say than I’M SORRY. let me in so I can tell you everything.
Chioma:
(tensed)
Enter what! O, so you think I would let you into my house? This guy is funny. Very funny.
She turned away from him, wanted to lock him out, shadow rushed to her courageously. He held her on her wa-ist, pulled her closer and landed her an unexpected k-ss 💋. An unfathomable look griped her, she didn’t know in way to response. Her eyes were w¡dened, looking at his face – closed eyes full of emotions. He never thought of stopping, locked his l-ips in hers while he held her yet close. The hearts were communicating so strongly in unknown language. For like 5 good minutes, the k-ss lasted. Ok, she finally opened up. I’ve forgiven you. Stop! She shouted forcefully as she pulled him back. They broke up, and there were sudden look between them. None knew what next to say:
*are we dating, should I say it’s a mistake, should we go in and continue or will it happen next time?*
these are the long questions rubbing their minds. After awhile, shadow broke the long silence. I was hospitalised, he spoke up.
Chioma:
Wh_ what!
Shadow:
(Mindfully)
I spent days before I could recover.
Chioma:
(Passionately)
Please, come in.
They entered, spent a lot of time together – gisting, eating, and playing till it’s late. Shadow could not leave and stayed overnight in her house. He slept in the sitting room despite a several persuasion to sleep with her on her bed inn. He was too scared to mingle with opposite s€×.
He could not close his eyes till the next morning, his mind was so troubled – thinking and picturing himself having fun with Chioma in her room. He got on wetting his boxer till it became visible on his trouser in the next morning.
The day finally broke with a new expectation. She told him to be very careful as He set out.

A stone a times might be used to kill two birds, he went to the custody where those kidnappers were kept. He got suspicious of the way those kidnappers were served and treated. Could it have been that “long hand” has come in the matter? He thought. As usual, he called a female officer who at the beginning spent time with Beauty, recording her saga for her little sister at home, gave her money and asked if the criminals are not giving them tough time.
Female officer:
(loudly)
My lil sister is doing great with her story. It has made her famous, but you will have to help me deal with her…
She held shadow’s hand, taking him out as if she wanted to gist him fully about her lil sister.
Female Officer:
Oga Shadow (she looks round to see no one is in hearing distance), you see those criminal in the prison, some big men have been coming for them. They have already settled the DPO, in fact, they might release them or transfer them away to silent their case.
Shadow:
Wait, I didn’t get you. What! You we’re discussing your sis and now criminals. What relationsh¡p?
Female officer:
(Whispering)
Forget about my sister, I didn’t want anyone to be suspicious. They might crucify me exposing them. See, you are a good man, and I heard how you’ve been working tirelessly on reviving Beauty’s case.
Shadow:
Ehn! No problem, I appreciate your faithfulness. I must not allow them go Scott free, at least, if I could not succeed in Beauty case, I must definitely achieve this one. Thank you Mrs, I promise something in your account this weekend.

Back to the hospital, he met his officers laughing 😂 together.
Shadow:
Wow! Finally my men are back, strong and active.
First Officer:
You’re welcome oga shadow. Wetin (what) did you bring come?
Shadow:
hmm, good news, OK. I brought you goodnews that will shake your entire system. Come on guys, sit right let’s gist.
