I stared at him surprised that he would say a nice thing like that to me. Immediately, he pulled me closer looking into my eyes.

“Do you mind?”. He whispered lowly.

“Huh?”.

Then he placed his l-ips on mine, i didn’t know what to do since it was my first k×ss so I just followed his lead.

Gosh!! Bailey, what are you doing? k×ssing Seven is the worst idea ever.

I quickly stepped back away from him still trying to contemplate the whole thing.

He walked closer to me. “Bailey__”.

“I have to use the restroom”. I said and left hurriedly.

I stopped and touched my l-ips. I just lost my first k×ss to him. What the heck? And at my first party too.

OH My Gosh!! Seven Marshall k×ssed me, what to do? What to do? I thought as I walk nervously around the party floor.

I decided to go upstairs and search for Katie instead. Where is she by the way? I came to the party with her and now she has left me.

I opened the first room and immediately, i wished I hadn’t, there were people making out which to me was gross.

I opened the second door and it was empty which made me breathe out in relief. I went in and look around curious on whose room is this.

“So this is where you are hiding”.

I turn to see Alvin walk in stumbling a little bit. He was very close that I could sniff out the alcohol on him.

I scrunched up my nose. “Oh wow. You must have had a lot of drinks on you”.

“You got that right but what are you doing here?”.

“Huh?”.

He sat on the bed. “Oh man, i think that I’m seeing stars right now”.

“Umm, Alvin. I think you need to go wash up your face or at least, try to throw up”. I suggested.

He stood up from the bed and walked to the bathroom, i think. I heard running water so I think its the bathroom.

Then seconds later, he came out. Wow, i guess alcohol does take a toll on someone.

“They are, umm, doing a game downstairs, do you wanna go join?”.

I shrugged. “Sure, i guess”.

He cleared his throat and tucked his hands in his pockets as he stepped out the door. I followed behind him nervous and we went downstairs.

The party was still going on but the jocks on the other side were truly playing a game along with the popular kids.

I sighed Katie and went to go sit with her immediately.

“Hey. Where were you?”. I whispered to her.

“Somewhere, around here and I think I did something that I would totally regret”.

“Huh?”.

“I’ll tell you all about it later, Bestie”. She replied and I nodded.

I glanced around the circle and noticed that Tyler was staring at Katie while she on the other hand, pretended not to notice him.

Weird right. Whats weird is that Ryder isn’t at this party too, i mean, its his friend party so why didn’t he come? Or maybe parties are not his thing.

The other STARS came, Tyler, Sean, Alvin and definitely Seven who wouldn’t stop with his stares at me.

Just thinking of the fact that he k×ssed me still startles me. Does he like me? What are you saying? Bailey, he can’t possible like you all of a sudden.

Katie nudged me. “Your turn”.

I snapped out of my thoughts realizing that everyone’s eyes were on me. Holy Moly, it really is my turn for this truth and dare.

A girl faced me. “Truth or Dare, Nerd”.

She calling me a nerd just reminds me of Ryder. Bailey Hadid, snap out of it.

“Why ask, she’s gonna pick truth anyways, thats how the nerd are”.

Mostly everyone in the circle laughed as he said that. I’m not a nerd, although I do love school but still not a nerd.

“Dare”. I said loudly and they all stopped with their laughs immediately.

“Looks like she wants to take it to the next level”.

Katie hit me. “Bestie, what are you doing?”.

“Okay girl. I dare you to make out with our star quarterback, Alvin Norman”.

Oh Gosh!! She gotta be kidding me? Alvin, seriously? Why did I say yes?

“I-I umm, I ca__”.

“You can’t?”. She snickered interrupting me.

“She’s shy”. Another added. “No passes”.

My first thought was to run immediately and never turn back but how am I gonna show up at school on Monday if I do that?

Alvin winked at me. “How about we take this upstairs?”.

“She doesn’t have the guts, i bet she will refuse”. Brittany snarled at me as they all laughed.

I stood up. “Fine, i accept the dare”.

I grabbed Alvin’s hand and went upstairs although I could feel everyone’s eyes on me as we walked.

“Okay, Alvin”. I started talking as we went into a room. “I don’t why I said that but I don’t think I wanna make out with you”.

“Chill, freak. Relax”.

“Its not that I hate you but you know”. I continued. “I didn’t want to say dare but she made me do it”.

“I get it, you didn’t want to feel like a freak in front of everyone”.

I crossed my arms. “Why do you keep on calling me a freak?”.

“Maybe because you like freaking out”. He said teasingly.

I rolled my eyes. “I’m not making out with you”.

“I don’t want to either”. He flopped on the bed. “You are not my type of girl, just so you know”.

“Then what kind of girls do you like?”. I ask a little hurt by what he said.

“I like girls who are feisty, who likes to go against the rules, who doesn’t care about anything and just live freely”.

“Just like Ryder?”. I say the first thing that comes to my mind.

He nodded in response. “Yep”.

“So have you found the girl?”.

“Have you met his twin sister?”. He asks all of a sudden.

“Ryder has a twin sister?!!”.

“Riley Tatum. Baddest bitch I’ve ever seen although she’s not in a good condition right now but still … “. He trailed off.

“Then why did you take me out on a date days ago?”.

He sighed. “Bailey, i know that I’m not supposed to tell you this but from now, use your head to think not your heart”.

“But why? Is something wrong?”.

“Lets just say that, sometimes, using your emotions to think is the worst idea ever, its just like giving into a guy without knowing his true intentions”.

“Apparently, which guy are you talking about?”.

“Whoever tried to woo you this past week”.

“Why are you telling me this?”. I asked him confused.

“You seem like a nice person and trust me, you don’t wanna get a broken heart”.

“What did the doctors say?”. She whispers almost lowly as I can sense nervousness.

“Riley is still unconscious but at least, she is responding to the life support machine”.

She bursted into tears. “No!!. Not her too”.

“Calm down, Mum”. I soothed as she held on to me tightly.

She finally sigh taking a deep breath which made me feel relieved that she’s going to be okay.

“Do you need anything, Mum? Should I get anything for you?”. I asked her softly.

She shook her head. “No. Ryder, i’m okay”.

“Maybe you should go rest”. I tried leading her to the stairs.

She stopped me. “Its fine. I said I’m okay”.

“I’m concerned for you, Mum, thats all”. I tell her tearfully.

She hugs her knees to her chest. “I feel cold”.

“I’ll get you a blanket to warm up”. I told her and stood up going towards the stairs.

I ran up and headed to my room taking a thick blanket before hurriedly running back downstairs.

“Mum?!!”. I called seeing that she’s not there anymore.

I held the blanket tightly on to me and then search around the place for her before out on the porch and saw her there.

She was seated on the grass staring up at the sky. I walked closer to her and realized that she was actually crying and shedding tears.

“Mum, come on”. Tears form in my eyes. “I can’t let you keep on doing this to yourself all the time”.

“You know, Gerald used to be the one who makes me dinner all the time”. She says to me wistfully.

I sit beside her. “Mum, please just stop. I know that Dad isn’t here any longer to do that but I’ll do all that for you instead”.

“I miss your father, Ryder”.

I sighed softly. “I miss him too, Mum”.

“Are you checking up on Riley tomorrow?”.

I nodded in response. “Yeah. I always do”.

“What about your dad?”.

“I’ll visit him with flowers. Mum, you don’t need to worry about anything”. I assured her.

She rested on me. “If he hadn’t traveled out that day then maybe he would still be alive and here with me”.

“Everything will be okay, at least, we still have Riley. She survived it, didn’t she?”.

“Yes, she actually did”. She sniffed back her tears. “Riley is just like you, she never gives in to anything”.

“Maybe you should thinking about this and get to sleep, Mum”.

“I can’t help it, Ryder”. More tears fell from her eyes. “I just lost the love of my life and now, my daughter is in a life threatening situation right now”.

“Riley Tatum is strong. She can fight it”.

“Okay”. She says looking up at the sky as she tried to blink back her tears.

Watching her do all of this is making me so sad right now. My Mum is too fragile and of anything else tragic happens, i know that she might not be able to survive it.

I’m really broken that my dad is dead and now my twin sister is laying unconscious in the hospital. I miss them a lot especially my crazy sister, Riley.

I thought of what Alvin had said to me at the party earlier. What did he mean by that?

He really sounded serious with what he was saying but that doesn’t mean I actually understood what he was saying because I was totally confused.

I sighed and looked out the windows as he drove. It was Tyler who offered to drop me back at home along with Katie who sat at the front seat.

Maybe she’s having mood swings because she seems very annoyed with me for some reason that I do not know of.

I glanced at them and noticed they were giving each other side looks. I think Tyler is crushing on Katie, maybe, i don’t know.

Tyler eventually dropped me off and I bade them goodbye before going into apartment.

I needed to speak with Katie. I guess she is going to freak out when she finds out that I k×ssed her crush, more like her crush had k×ssed me.

What is happening to me? I’ve never been in a situation this stuck up before and why was Alvin telling me all that earlier, huh?

Tyler had dropped me off but Katie didn’t even say a word to me as I stepped into my room, i received a text from her.

A New boyfriend?!! What the hell is Katie even saying right now?

Okay. Now I know that something is really wrong with Katie, for her to be acting this way to me.

I was about to send her another message when a new text comes in. A picture and Oh My Gosh!! It was of Seven and I k×ssing.

What the hell? Did someone take a snap of us when we did that? Oh Gosh!! Katie is so annoyed and this definitely going to be all over school on Monday Morning.

I rested on my pillow thinking of how I’ll go to school on Monday and face everyone when i heard a beep on my phone.

I grabbed it and stared at the message that was just sent to me just now. An Unknown number. Who could it be that sent the threat message to me?

I flopped back on my pillow as I gulped nervously. Oh My!! I just got myself in a lot of puddle this semester.

Have you ever had one of those mornings where you feel that the whole world eyes are on you. Well thats the situation right now.

Or maybe its because I’m not wearing my glasses. I put on contacts, which I rarely do and i guess thats why.

I feel like everyone is staring at me as I made my way to my locker. Luckily, for me, Katie is there already.

“Katie”.

“Hi. Bailey”. She replied coldly.

“Is everything okay?”.

“When were you going to tell me that you k×ssed him?”.

I sighed softly. “I didn’t k×ss him, he did”.

“It doesn’t matter. You had told me that you would never have anything to do with him at all, you called Seven yuck”.

“Come on, Katie. Everyone has the right to change their opinion about someone”.

“I know that”. She slammed her locker shut. “And I also have the right to get angry at you”.

“I don’t get why you are pissed off about, its not Seven even knows you or pay the least attention to you”.

“You are right, Bailey. I’m not the one who he’s running after so why do I care”.

“Katie, i seriously don’t get why we are here bickering over some guy who k×ssed me”.

“I got a crush on that same guy and you knew it”.

“Nerdy bitch”. Brittany scowled at me as she walked past with her minions behind her.

I was expecting Katie to defend me but she didn’t this time. I guess she must be really upset with me.

“Katie. I don’t__”.

“I’m not listening”. She interrupted me and walked off, obviously still angry with me.

I put my hoodie over my head and rested on my locker thinking of what to do at that moment but none came in mind.

“Good morning, Princess”. Sean walked to where I was.

I smiled slightly. “Hey Sean”.

“You look hot this morning, princess”. He tucked his hands in his pockets.

I blushed a little. “Thanks.

“And also you look shaken, did something happen to you?”.

I shook my head. “No. Its just that … “.

“What?”.

I looked at him. “I guess you must have seen the pic of Seven and I k×ssing”.

“I have”. He replied grimly. “It was sent to everyone”.

“Oh”.

“But that doesn’t mean you should worry yourself about it though”. He assured me.

“I don’t know, Sean. It seems like mostly everyone in school have seen it and i really don’t like where this is heading at all”.

“Hey, relax”. He cupped my cheeks. “All what other people say shouldn’t have an effect on you”.

I breathed out. “Thanks for understanding me, Sean”.

“Anytime, Princess”. He replied, his palms still on my cheeks giving me a tingling.

At that moment, Ryder walked past which made me step away from Sean suddenly but he didn’t even spare me a glance, just walked away.

I faced Sean. “I don’t think we should be close anymore”.

“What?”. He arched his eyebrows. “And why do you say that?”.

“I really don’t want to get on the bad side of your girlfriend”. I told him truthfully.

“My girlfriend?”. He let out a scoff. “I don’t have a girlfriend, Princess”.

I crossed my arms. “What are you talking about? Aren’t you dating Miley?”.

“Who’s Miley?”.

“Come on, Sean. If she isn’t your girlfriend like you said then why would she ask me to stay away from you when there’s nothing going on”.

“Miley, you said?”. He asked. “Let me have a guess, strawberry blonde hair, acts bitchy and dresses like an epitome of barbie?”.

I nodded in response because he describe her perfectly than I expected. Who doesn’t know Miley? Head cheerleader.

He chuckled lightly. “Pay no attention to her, she’s no one to me”.

“What? And why is she all possessive”.

He smirked. “I’ve hooked up with her like several times and she took herself as my girlfriend, thats all”.

“Well I don’t want her all up in my business because clearly, i’m only friends with you”.

“You only think of me as a friend?”. He ask in a half whisper.

“Yeah. Sean, i don’t want anything more than friendsh¡p with you”.

“Oh”. He rubbed the bridge of his nose. “I get it, totally get it”.

“Sean, I’m__”.

“Its okay. See you later in class, Bailey”. He said interrupting me as he walked off as well.

I was about going off to class when I saw Seven. I went after him and headed into a class along with him.

I huffed angrily. “You”.

“Oh hey. Cutie pie”.

“Don’t you call me that at all”. I snapped at him. “First, you k×ssed me and then had a video of it taken, who does that?”.

“Woah, woah. I did not have any video taken at all, i’m just as surprised as you are”.

I crossed my arms. “Oh really? How do I know that you are not lying right now?”.

“I’m not some person who goes around doing that and besides, it must have been one of those fan girls crushing on me”.

He’s not wrong. He has a lot of jealous girls everywhere who probably schemed this to get back at me for k×ssing him.

“Whatever”. I shot back. “You are still helping me to get this video down”.

“Of course, i will”. He walked closer. “I’ll do anything for my cutie pie”.

I faked a gag. “I wanna barf”.

“Really?”.

He stepped towards me while I went back the more not wanting to be close to him.

“You weren’t barfing when I k×ssed you yesterday”. He said with a smirk.

“k×ssing you was disgusting but I just held it in”.

He chuckled slightly. “Prove it”.

“Huh?”.

“I’m out of here”. I turned around to walk away but he pulled me back pinning both my hands above the wall.

“I want to taste your l-ips again”. He says to me softly making me gulp nervously.
