Denavia episode 15 – finale

CHAPTER 15 {Final Chapter}
After everything had been settled, a nurse came in and told us she was taking Cameron to wash up. Cameron left the hospital room with the help of the nurse.
“Let’s go get some food. I’m starving.” Liam whined and Kaisha smacked him.
“Stop acting like a cute baby.” Kaisha said to Liam.
“But you like it.” Liam retorted and she blushed. I cringed at the both of them.
“Can you guys stop….all of this and let’s go?” I said to both of them and they grinned.
Just as we were about to leave, a doctor approached us and did I mention, a very handsome doctor. He looked like he was in his twenties.
“Uhm, anyone related to Kimoprah, the patient at VIP room 4.” The doctor asked.
“Yes, we’re her friends. Anything wrong?” Liam replied him. And the doctor smiled.
“She’s awake now.” He beamed.
“She is??!!!” I yelled and before anyone said anything, I bolted towards her room. I opened the door and ran quickly towards her bed. I hugged her.
“OMG! You’re alive! I’m so happy.” Tears fell from my eyes. “Thank you for staying alive. Thank you so much. I thought if you die, I would live in guilt all my life.” I hugged her again and she chuckled faintly…
Shortly, students started trooping in. Very soon, the wh0le room was filled up with students and our teachers.
“Okay, it’s so weird that we’re happy you’re alive. We’re all supposed to leave you here because you’re friends with Katherina and there’s no difference between you both.” Lucy, who was one of the students said and everyone agreed with her. Even me.
“Look guys. You people should not hate me please. I’m not like Katherina.” Kimoprah pleaded weakly. She has not recovered fully.
“And why should we believe that.” Liam said.
“I’ll explain everything to you all.”
“It all started in my former school. I was always bullied. My parents are rich and loaded. They pamper me and give me everything I want. Most especially my dad. I’m the only child, they love me so much. But whenever I’m at school, I never find peace. I get bullied, even by my own Juniors. They call me daddy’s per, they collect all my money from me, even my credit card. I never told my parents. But when they found out, they Decided to change my school. After I got here, I made up my mind that no one would ever bully me again. I’m going to act tough, rude and arrogant and also move with arrogant and tough people so I won’t be bullied. Then I became friends with Katherina. After sometime, I realized Katherina wasn’t a good person. Infact, she was the definition of evil. I didn’t know how to tell her I didn’t want to be her friend again. So lately, she suddenly came up with an offer, she told me to make Navia unconscious and kidnap her from the hotel garden. I told her there was no way I’m doing that, so she threatened me. She said she was gonna tell her dad to stop the deal he was making with my dad. I knew how important the deal was to my dad so I had to do it. After, I felt so guilty and decided to tell Cameron and the rest. He made a plan on how to get Navia from there but it didn’t work out the way we planned. Katherina was going to kill Navia so I decided to sneak in and grab the gun but before I even did anything, she noticed me and shot me. After then, I couldn’t remember anything.
You guys should really believe me, I’m not a bad person. ” She explained everything with tears dropping from her eyes.
The room was awkwardly silent. Everyone kept mute and I finally spoke.
“I believe you Kimoprah.” I said and everyone started saying the same thing and apologizing to her.
Afterwards, the students and teachers left, Liam left too telling us he was going to get food. So it remained me, Kim and Kaisha.
“Thank you Navia. Thank you so much.” Kim said solemnly. I held her hands.
“That’s what friends are for Kimoprah.” I smiled at her.
“W… we’re friends? I’m your friend?” She asked with teary eyes.
“Of course, Katherina is gone and we’re all you have.” Kaisha said.
“So we’re like best friends now?” She asked beaming.
“If that’s what you want. Then we’re all besties.” I said and grinned.
“Right! Did anyone see that doctor.” Kim asked.
“That hottie? If I wasn’t in love with Liam, I would have him to myself.” Kaisha said in a dreamy voice and we all burst into laughter.
“I think I’m in love with him. He was the first person I saw when I woke up. Love at first sight. ” Kimoprah said dreamily.
“Tell him you like him then.” I shrugged.
Just as if the doctor knew we were talking about him, he entered. He was glowing.
“Hi.” He greeted Kim shyly. “The nurse is going to come over and take care of you.” He said..
“What’s your name.” Kimoprah asked blocking off what he said.
The man pointed to his ID card and smiled.
“It’s Ethan.” He said and we all nodded.
“Are you a doctor in this hospital?” She asked again and me and Kaisha facepalmed.
“Actually, I just came here to Operate on a special patient. I’m a doctor at St Laurent’s Hospital in New York.” He said smiling. This man is really patient.
“How old are you?” Kimoprah asked again.
“Kim?!!!” Me and Kaisha said at the same time. Ethan Chuckled..
“I’m 23.” He said grinning.
Wow! I can’t take this anymore! Someone has to say something!
“Look, Doctor Ethan. My friend here is in love with you. It’s love at first sight. So, what do you say, you like her too?” I said without a care in the world. Kaisha and Kimoprah’s eyes were as wide as saucers.
“Errr….I don’t know. I’ll see you later.” He said quickly, blushed and ran out of the door.
Both Isha and Kim gave me “wtf” looks and I just shrugged.

It’s been a week now and Cam and Kim are getting discharged. We’re all going back to New York. Today was the last day. Kaisha was helping Kimoprah to pack her stuffs in the hospital. I was with Cameron.
“You have time tonight?” Cameron asked.
“Uhh…..yeah. why?”
“Nothing.” He grinned.

WRITER’S POV.

Camille, Cameron’s sister had talked to Navia and approved of anything they are. Cameron’s parents also approved. And guess what? Cameron’s parents are already friends with Navia’s parents. Everyone approved of whatever was between NavCam. No disturbance.
Cameron finally asked Navia to be his girlfriend.
Kimoprah and Ethan are in lovely love.
Kaisha and Liam’s love is going strong.
Katherina was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment for attempted murder.
Conor was taken back to the mental hospital.
Chris, Conor’s brother who wasn’t 18 yet was taken to a Remand Home.

Denavia’s POV 😏
It was around 8:00pm and Cameron knocked on the door of our suite.
“Navia, can we talk outside.” He said shyly. I closed the door behind me and followed him to wherever he was taking me. We took the elevator and he pressed the “Roof top” button. We got out of the elevator and on to the rooftop.
“Cameron, what’s going on.” I asked him suspiciously.
“Errr….” Was all he said. He brought out a packet of Skittles and gave it to me. I gave him a confused look.
“You love Skittles don’t you?” He asked and I nodded affirmative.
“So you brought me here to give me this?” I asked.
“No. I brought you here so I can ask you to be my girl.” He said and my eyes w¡dened.
“I’m sorry what? I asked not believing my ears.
“Please be my girlfriend Denavia.” He said in the cutest way. I blinked twice, no thrice. My heart was jumping. I was happy.
“Yes Cameron! Yes!” I grinned happily and he hugged me. I was so happy. Finalllllyyyyy!!!!
“I can’t believe you asked me to be your girlfriend with a packet of Skittles, so cheesy. ” I said and he chuckled.
“Can I k-ss you?” He asked eagerly.
“Well, what are you waiting for? Do it!” I said happily.
