Evelyn’s POV
.
I failed….I failed them.
I failed to protect them after everything, they didn’t deserve this.
They didn’t deserve any of this, none of this is their fault why did they have to pay for it.
I lost three sisters in a day in the hands of our devil brother who is roaming this place looking for fun.
Only six of us are left, Eve, Sophie, Bella, Emma and the youngest Anna.
Now it’s seems we are all going to die on this Island and there’s no way for us to stop it.
I couldn’t hold back my tears as I looked down on their lifeless body on the ground.
I’m sorry Sarah, I’m sorry Eva, I’m so sorry for this…..I’m so sorry for all of this, I’m sorry this had to happen.
They are all devastated by this especially Eve who’s twin is laying dead on the ground.
I can only imagine what she must be going through right now.
” Sister…… I’m scared” Anna said cuddle close to me with tears all over her face same as others.
I don’t blame her she’s still a child even I am scared and I’m extremely terrified for what’s going to happen next.
” Sis….what do we do now?” Sophie asked.
They all staring at me expecting an answer or a solution from, they wanted me to do something and I don’t know what to do.
How do I tell them I don’t know what to do, how do I tell them I’m as clueless as they are.
I don’t know the next step to take, I just don’t know what’s next, I really don’t know….. this is way above me.
Mom, I hate you….I hate you so much cause your stupid craving for a male child cost the lives of my sisters.
Wherever you are mom, I will never forgive you, never cause I hate you with every bit of me.
” Sis….. you’re not saying anything” Sophie said snapping out of my thought.
” I..uhm…I seriously don’t know, i…I really have no idea” I replied sadly.
” So we are all going to die?…..we will all die here” Emma said.
” Please don’t…… don’t say that….. don’t say that” I replied then I heard a twig snapped.
” Hold sshhhh” I shushed them and they keep quiet.
” Someone is coming” I said and they all hide behind me then I picked up a big stone with intention of hitting him.
” Is he coming back?” Ella asked frightened.
” Just stay behind me” I said as the footsteps get closer and louder then the person showed up.
” Tom?” I said confused even he is surprised seeing me with a stone then he looked on the ground.
” OhmyGod,….what… what happened here?…..who did this?” He asked surprised.
” You came……how did you find us?” I said crying then went to hugged him.
” Yeah, I heard a loud scre-m from afar so I came to check……. OhmyGod….what happened?” He said.
” Please, we need to get off this island…..you need to take us off this Island” I said hurriedly.
” Yeah, I will, I came with a boat but what really is going on here?” He asked again.
” I will explain to you when we are off this island but right now the most important thing right now is to go” I said.
” Fine….fine….. Let’s go” he said.
” Alright girls, we need to go……we have to run to the boat” I said turning to my sisters.
” I can’t……I can’t run” Emma said as she limp towards me.
” What happened to your leg?” I asked.
” I twisted my ankle when we are running from him” she said.
” Don’t worry I will carry her on my back……..but we need to hurry now” Tom said then Emma climbed his back.
I also carry Anna on my back because she can’t keep up then we started running through the woods.

I’m so happy that we are finally getting off this island, saved from our monstrous brother.
We ran as fast as we could through the woods, I keep wandering my eyes around to make sure he’s not after us.
As we are running Sophie fell down which cause us all to stop.
” Are you alright?” I asked.
” Yeah, I think so” she replied.
” Can you continue?” I asked cause I Know she’s tired, we all are.
” Yes…. yes let’s go” she replied and we continue running.
We ran for another hour till we reached back at our house then Tom took us to where the boat is parked.
” Oh finally, we are going to make it” I said as we followed him then I noticed his pace stopped.
” Wh…what the hell?” He exclaimed in shock then I look up ahead.
” No no no no no……..not again, Not Again” I shouted frustration as I saw the boat scattered on the sea.
We all ran to where the boat is located and saw someone in the water dead with his blood all over the ground.
‘ Destry must have been here’
I thought as much, we’ve been running for us to an hour and we hear nothing from him, he probably came here to make sure no one leaves.
And Now we are back to square one, we are back right where we started.
” OhmyGod, who did this?….what kind of monster did this?” Tom said in disbelief.
” Evelyn, c’mon tell me what’s going here……I went in,side your house and found your mother and sister dead”
” On my way to find you I saw your father also dead in the woods and when I found you I saw another two dead bodies”
” And Now this……who is doing this?….. what’s happening?….what are we up against?” he asked.
” My brother” I said.
” Your brother?……what do you mean your brother?” I said.
” Yes…our only brother Destry, and he won’t stop until we are all dead” I said.
” I still don’t get this…..you mean your littlest brother is behind all this?…..Destry?” He said in disbelief.
” That boy is not little in any way….. he’s dangerous Tom, and there’s no way to stop him” I said.
” There’s no way……we tried and we failed” I added.
” What do you mean you tried and you failed?” He asked.
” He can’t be killed, we tried but failed” i answered and he was surprise.
” how is that even possible?….what do you mean he can’t be killed?” he asked again.
” i tried to poison once but he denied death, my father shoot him but didn’t die and he killed him” i said.
” Whaatt!, what kind of boy is he?” he asked.
” He’s a mistake, an abomination, a curse begotten by my mother” i replied.
” I suspected from the start, cause he never fall sick, I’ve never even seen him bleed or injured like a normal human” I said.
” Really?…..like it never happened before?” He said shocked.
” Never……Ex…ce….pt” I said slowly remembering the only time I saw him in pain.
” Except what?” He pressed.
‘ damn!…..I’m so dumb I should have known from that day, how can I ignore something like that’
” There was this one time my father bought him a silver necklace on his birthday, the necklace burn him” I explained.
” A silver necklace?” He asked which I nodded affirmative.
” And where is this necklace now?” He asked.
” My father threw it away the same day” I replied.
” So let’s assume, a silver object is the only weapon that can hurt him……..do you have silver object anywhere?” He asked.
” Dad has a silver knife in the house…… it’s his special knife” Sophie interrupted.
” Yes dad has one, it’s in the………. OhmyGod, No No No” I muttered remembering the day I saw him in the kitchen.
” What’s wrong?” Tom asked.
” I’m so dumb…. I’m so so dumb” I said continuously.
” What Happen Evelyn?” He inquired.
” The first day we arrived here I came down to the kitchen and saw him throwing away the knife”
” Whaaaat”
” I never knew why he did that nor did I suspected anything at all, I thought he was acting in his weird ways” I explained.
” What do we do now?” Eve asked.
” We look for it……we look for the knife” he said then we all ran back towards the back of the house.

We all went back to the back of the house and started looking through the woods hoping to see the knife.
I couldn’t keep my eyes away from everywhere in search of him, I can’t let him hurt anyone else.
I know he’s at somewhere watching us right now, this waiting is making me more worried.
Many thoughts are running through my mind right now;
What’s he doing right now?
What’s he planning?….where is he?
What is he going to do next?
We all searched for the knife but couldn’t find it anywhere near.
” I saw him throwing it out from there” I said pointing at the window.
” Let’s keep looking it should be lurking around somewhere” Tom said.
” I’ll make a call to the police, they should be here by now” Tom said then he put a call through.
📞 ” Hello Paul, where are you?” Tom said over the phone.
📞 ” Hurry up, and when you get here, let your eyes be wide open…..it is very dangerous” he said.
📞 ” Okay, please be fast……we can’t stay here any longer”
📞 ” Alright, see you soon” he concluded then disconnected the call.

” They are on their way here, We are all going getting out of here” Tom said.
” I’m so very Happy hear that” I heard Destry said.
” Aaaaahhhh” My sisters scre-med and they came to me.
I looked around for him then found him up sitting on a tree.
” Finally I’m getting out of this Island” He said then jumped down and landed on the ground like it’s nothing.
” Stay away from them” Tom said pointing a gun at him.
” I see you brought your boyfriend over to save you, unfortunately he’s going to end up like others” he said grinning evily.
” How can you be so full of so much evil……you’re still but a child” Tom said.
” I’m no child young man, I hope you see my action at the shore, I will make sure none of you survive this island” he said.
” Let me tell you what I planned, I’ll kill you all right here, right now…..every last single one of you”
” And when the police arrives I’ll explain to them how an animal kill you all then they will take me off this island”
” You’re a monster?….. You’re devil” Eve shouted.
” I suppose that anger is channelled because of the death of your twin, but don’t worry I’ll reunite you very soon” he said.
” So tell me which one of you should I kill first?”
