” Golden , you’re okay ?” Perkins ask hanging her w-t hand around my shoulders.
 
” Yeah…” I sigh and smiled at them. Jason already left with Veronica. I guess they entered the pub in teem park.
 
” Okay.. you’re moody…” Carol blurts out and I chuckle.
 
Perkins hose water on my face as I tried to restrain.
 
” Come on…” I whimpers and take a deep breath.
 
” Who owns teem park ? Mitch right ?” I ask.
 
” No , Jason.” I Chuckle silently and smirk.
 
” A lot of rich redheads. I gotta use the bathroom.”
 
” Becareful…” Perkins whisper and I nod.
 
I wanted a free space to rest my head. I’ve been thinking too much. My mood changed because i saw Veronica and Mitch together. It’s not even anger but it feels like jealousy. Like there’s someone in,side me who thinks he wants me but that someone isn’t me.
 
My life’s ****ed up. Emily’s issue truly made the worst impact in me. I went to the backyard and it was des**ted , just like I wanted it to . Just me and mother nature. I cross my arm and take a deep breath staring at this supposed green garden.
 
” I can’t stay away from you..” I jerk and turn around only to find Jason staring at me. His hands are glued to his pocket. His eyes were all over my body and that made me uncomfortable.
 
” What are you doing here ?” He chuckle and walk towards me. He stops in front of me and smirk checking me out.
 
” You’re beautiful..”
 
” Stop flirting with me.. I’m not your type remember.”
 
” I don’t flirt and yeah I didn’t forget.” He smirks and look right in my eyes.
 
” You shouldn’t be here. I really don’t wanna have more issues with your girlfriend..” he Chuckles to my remark and smile.
 
 
” Are you jealous ?”
 
” What ? I mean why should I be jealous ?” I ask.
 
” Maybe because , she’s hotter than you.” He states and that hit me right in the chest.
 
” Just get out.” I scoffs and turn my back against him.
 
” Go out on a date with me.” I bit my lip and turn to look at him.
 
” Are you s***ting me ? What’s up with your mood swings ? 2 seconds ago ,you were high of some weed s*** and now you want me to go out with you. What type of guy are you ?” I ask.
 
” A guy who wants to go out with you on a date.” He says softly. There’s something about his voice , I really can’t explain.
 
 
” I’m not interested in you and I won’t go out with you.” He chuckles and look down on the floor and he avert his eyes back to me.
 
He smirks and take a step closer to me. My heart skip a beat and I tried to hold back myself. We were an inch apart and I could nearly tell he wants to k-ss me. I couldn’t move , my hands are tightly cross as I tried to avoid eye contact. His breath his so warm and his cologne almost made me hot , that’s so unusual.
 
” I love your l-ips…” He says and my check heat up. Oh Gold !
 
He touch my chin and lift it up to look at his eyes. They magneted mine and I couldn’t look away. It feels like I have known him before , like years ago. I felt goosebumps as I felt his hands brush against my h¡ps and up to my wa-ist.
 
I lost my breath at once , he pull me close to him and lean his mouth close to my ear.
 
” You can’t stay away from me , just admit it.” He whisper but I stay mute. He smirks at me and tied my loose braids back.
 
” You’re so weak..” He says softly looking into my eyes. Good Lord , why am I dumb all of a sudden ? Is this a type of magic ?
 
He leans closer and tried to k-ss me , I didn’t move or say a word. I push my l-ips forward but he smirk and push his backwards a little. Why his he playing with me ?
 
 
” Gold..” I heard Perkins voice and that brought me to reality.
 
Jason smirk and wink at me before walking out.
 
” What was that all about ?” Perkins ask walking towards me. What am I gonna say ? Obviously I don’t know.
 
” You almost k-ssed Jason redhead..” she mocks.
 
” I wasn’t myself.” I whimpers.
 
” Yeah , you said you wanted to use the bathroom and you came here just to steal a k-ss from Jason.” Perkins utter.
 
” No , it’s not what you think. I saw Veronica with him and I felt…”
 
” Jealous..” Perkins concluded. I sigh and bit my lip.
 
” Wow . You like him ?” Carol ask and I scoff.
 
” I don’t like him. Whatever thing that happened shouldn’t give you the impression that i like him. I just need a nap.” I sigh and walk out.
 
” Gold…” Perkins calls and I ignored her.
 
I took my clothes and rush to her car. I open the door to the passenger seat and got in. I really can’t explain what happened and I don’t wanna think about it . I look out of the window and saw Carol with Perkins , carol sit at the back while Perkins entered the driver’s seat. She fastened her seatbelt and starts the engine.
 
The atmosphere was terrible and quiet. I knew I have to say a lot of apologise once I’m calm. Perkins stops at Carol’s dorm and she got out.
 
” Bye guys..” she waves and turn to leave. Perkins ignites the engine and continued driving. She halt at the parking lot outside THE s₱0t and I jump down. I slam the door open and barge to my room to think.
 
I can’t like him , this isn’t me. I entered the bathroom and take a bath before I slump on my bed. The following morning , the sound of the alarm woke me up . I pressed the snooze button as the alarm went quiet. I yawn and stare at my phone.
 
The time’s 9:14 am. I didn’t have class in the morning and I wasn’t in the mood to go to class either. Memories of yesterday flood through my head. His eyes , his touch and that’s the worst , his touch has a huge impact on me. It heat up my entire system and it’s always soothing.
 
The sound of the alarm distract my thought and I scoff. I pick it up and smack it to the wall.
 
” I need to get rid of that.” I clean my eyes and push the blanket aside. I brush my teeth and rush downstairs , Perkins was watching TV when I entered. She didn’t spare me a look and I felt guilty.
 
” Good morning.” I greeted but she didn’t reply instead she nods at me.
 
I sigh and sit close to her. I pick up the remote and turn down the volume of the movie.
 
” Look , I’m sorry.” I plea dropping the remote on the table. She smile awkwardly and turn to look at me .
 
” Why ?” She ask.
 
” For shunning you and Carol.” She smiled and Chuckle.
 
” Gold , I’m not angry , I just… maybe you needed time to think through. You like Jason ?”
 
” No. ”
 
” I’m not sure. I wish you could see your face when he tried to k-ss you. You were lost and taken.” I bat my lashes and look down at my fingers.
 
” You can flirt with him if you want , cause I’m certain you like him. You’re only scared because he’s redhead , something in you wants to try him out.” I shake my head and scoff.
 
” No , I’m not interested in him. I’m only occupied and stressed out.” I tell her.
 
” When last did you get laid ?” She ask.
 
” Last year..”
 
” And only once huh ?” I nod and she Chuckle.
 
” I see were that magic is coming from. Just take it easy on yourself.” She says picking up the TV remote.
 
” Thanks..” I hug her.
 
” Okay , thank you too. We’re taking a drive to Hollywood’s and we’re painting an alley today. You’re gonna love it , it’s like an old routine.”
 
” I’m in. Maybe it won’t hurt if someone sees the famous Allison Cooper.” I said.
 
” She s-cks , her attitude is dirty. Too mean and annoying.”
 
” The Cooper’s are mean. I talk to Mitchel the other night we went to party at his club and he called me a loosed b****. That hurts i know , but i worry less.” Perkins Chuckle and huff.
 
” The **** , I hate celebrities. Their attitude stinks.”
 
” Who’s at home ?” Carol shouts slamming the door open.
 
” Hey girlfriends..” She calls sitting down.
 
” Why are you happy ?” I ask.
 
” I don’t know , maybe it’s because something bad just left my life. Brad.” She says and we laugh.
 
” It’s nice you’re happy.”
 
” What about you gold ? We saw you with Jason , in a very rom-ntic moment. I think he likes you.” Carol says. I pretend to cough and smile.
 
” I have nothing to do with him. I don’t need a boyfriend and I’m not ready to date redheads.”
 
” You don’t hate a guy because of the color of their hair. That mood was….”
 
” Carol , just chill and forget about whatsoever mood. It was terrible , to hell with Jason bulls***. Who’s up for pizza ?” I ask standing up.
 
” We all.” Perkins wink and raise her hand in the air.
 
” Be right back..”

That afternoon after class , Perkins drove us to an alley that was a bit lonely. We alight from the car as Perkins leads the match.
 
” Paintings is a way of sharing emotional issues. We spray walls each time we’re less busy. You wanna try ?” Perkins ask as I glance at the wall paintings.
 
” Yess…” I collect a spray can from the bag Carol brought along and spray non-stop on the wall.
 
” Can you go slow ?” Carol ask and I nod.
 
” This is terrible…” Perkins mocks and I hiss.
 
” I’m still learning..” I laugh.
 
” Who sees this ?” I ask referring to the paintings on the wall.
 
” Anyone who cares to visit this side of the alley.” Carol replies.
 
” Wow..” I mouthed.
 
” They are beautiful…” I mutter and continued spraying.
 
” Have you been to Nigeria before ? Perkins ?” I ask.
 
” Once , when I was 12 , granddaddy’s funeral and all that s***ty stuff. I was born here actually.” She states.
 
” That’s awkward.” I utter and she Chuckle.
 
” Barely care…”
 
” I know..”
 
” What a terrible disaster..” a girl’s voice said from behind.
 
We turn around and saw Veronica standing close to her friend with pink hair.
 
” This s***’s so terrible…” Veronica mocks.
 
We kept mute and let her continue her gibberish rantings.
 
” What were you doing with Jason ?” She ask. I Chuckle and bit my lip.
 
” We were making out..” I utter to offend her.
 
” You were what ?” She ask.
 
” Making out..” I reply.
 
” You dirty little punk , what makes….” She was cut short by Perkins who spray paint all over her tan face.
 
” ****… How…..” Carol cut her shut again by spraying paints all over face.
 
” Got any word to say wh-re ?” I ask shaking my spray can.
 
” Argh…” She mutter and I spray all over her face.
 
Her wh0le clothes was covered in multiple color and she looks terrible.
 
” You’re done ?” I ask. She couldn’t pick out words including her pink hair girlfriend. She shamelessly turn her back and rush out.
 
” That was good.” Perkins said and we laugh.
 
We spray paint on the walls till evening. I’ve got school work and I had to hurry back home.
 
I cook dinner while Perkins and Carol was at the living room watching TV again. Perkins is a huge addict to the the television show KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS. So terrible , I’m not a fan of that.
 
I heard the door bell chimer , it seems Carol got up to open since Perkins is always lazy.
 
” A delivery. Thanks I’ll take it.” I heard Carol’s voice from the kitchen.
 
” Please sign here..” I heard a man’s voice. I guess she signed and the door was shut afterwards.
 
” Who was that ?” I ask walking into the living room.
 
” A delivery for you..” Carol says dropping a box on the table.
 
” Are you seeing someone ?” Perkins ask opening the box.
 
” I’m not seeing anyone.” I reply nervous.
 
Who brought this ? I watch Perkins open the box and brought out a fancy bag.
 
” Wow..” Perkins coo.
 
She open the bag and brought out a dress , that got me speechless. Carol brought out a a silver glowing stilettos and raise it upwards.
 
” Jesus , this are expensive.” Carol says scanning the items.
 
How to grow your business while you stay at home
” I don’t ****in care , who bought them ?” I ask opening the bag. I saw a card in,side and I open it.
