Chapter twenty two
I’d released a song titled ‘Hey’. It was great and I’m sure it’s gonna be a big hit cause Rhaegar had helped me.
“Hello there”. It was Bayern.
“What do you want”? I packed my bag. “I’ve some leftover cookies if you want some”.
“I thought you might want to thank me”.
“Thank my foot”.
“Hey”. It was Rhaegar.
“Hi”. I smiled then he looked over to Bayern.
“Your brother”?
“He’s just a friend of mine”.
“My name’s Bayern”. He offered a hand.
“Rhaegar”. He shooked him. “I was wondering if you would like to eat lunch with me. You might as well come along Bayern”.
“Me? Oh no. I’m kinda busy”. He smiled.
“That’s sad. What about you Kelly”?
“I”? I stared at him. “Yes. Of course. I’m quite hungry”. I forced a laugh.
“It’s set then. Let’s go”. I made to go but I fell on him. “Are you okay”? I glanced at Bayern but he turned away. I knew it was him.
“I’m fine”. I got up and purposely stepped on Bayern foot so hærd.
“Awwwww”. He cried.
“Oh. I’m sorry. Does it hurt”? I smiled wickedly at him.
“You’re bad than I thought princess”. He whispered.
“Shut your mouth before I twist your tongue”. I whispered back.
“Is everything alright”?
“Yes. We’re totally fine”. I smiled. “Let’s go”. I walked with him then turned back. “Don’t you dare try such”.
“I didn’t hear a thing”. He left.
Now I’m in my final year. Things have been going smoothly for me and I was quite famous now. I was dressing up when Bayern appeared. I scre-med and he disappeared.
“What’s wrong”? MJ opened the door.
“I……I….”. She stared at me. “Nothing. I thought I saw a mouse”.
“You’re something else Kelly”. She left. Lucky me I haven’t pull off my robe or else…. I’ve to teach him a lesson.
“I’m sorry princess”. Bayern was on his kneel. “I’m fully grown for goodness sake. You don’t have the right to barge into my room anytime”.
“I’m sorry”.
“Well, I can’t forgive me that easily. Do me a favour”?
“Which is”?
“I want to go on a date with Harrell but he’s quite busy. So I want you to help me out”.
“Sure”. He chant then my phone rang.
“Hello Harrell”.
“Hum….. it’s me. Rhaegar”. I then looked at the caller ID.
“Rhaegar”. I stared at Bayern. “Oh hi. How may I help you”?
“Actually, I’m in front of your house. Can you please meet me”?
“Sure. I’ll be there in a minute”. I drop the call. “That wasn’t Harrell”.
“Guess the spell doesn’t work on him. Maybe he’s truly busy”.
“You’re of no use”. I mussed up my hair.
“The prince’s waiting. You can help him remember some of his past”.
“Is that really necessary”?
“You didn’t kill Lamina. If she finds out he’s alive then his live will be in danger”.
“Stop it”. I sat on my bed. “I don’t want to hear anything”.
“He’s waiting”.
“Why’s my fate twisted”?
“There are reasons for everything. I’ll get going or you need my help in choosing clothes”.
“No and don’t enchant me again”.
“Really. I bet you’ll be on your knees asking me to enchant you”. He left.
“Hey”. I stepped out meeting Rhaegar beside his car. “You want to see me”.
“Would you like to go out with me”?
“Well…..hummm…… I’m kind of busy”.
“Oh. Okay then”. He brought out a shopping bag from his car. “Here”. He hand it to me.
“You’ve gotten me enough gift and I don’t want to be a picky person”.
“I just felt like buying it since I’m attracted to you”.
“Me”?
“Hmmm”. He nodded. “Your Mom’s such a good person”. He smiled. “I wish my Mom was here”. There were tears in his eyes. “I grew up with no parents at the age of seven. I was spoiled and……well, not well mannered and I lack in so many ways. I envy those with parents especially when they kept boasting about their mom cooking”. He smiled. “I know I’m mean but the world had been ungrateful to me. Do you know there are so many I wanted to know when I was young. Like……how to shave”. He laughed. “It’s funny isn’t it. A seven year old boy wanting to know how to shave”.
“I don’t think so. Despite all what you went through, I think you’ve grew up well. Your parents would be so proud of you”.
“Right now, my heart is………”. He broke into a laugh.
“It’s not funny”!
“I’ll get going”. He entered the car. “Say hello to your friends for me”. He drove off. A call from my manager entered.
“Hello Alex. What’s with the unexpected call”.
“Check the internet. Something is wrong”.
“Okay”. I drop the call and checked the internet. “Oh no”.

“Is this what people think about me”? I cried. “Just look at all the comments. She’s so ugly. I wonder how she made it. I think she did surgery. Just look at it”.
“They’re all lies Kelly. You’re beautiful”.
“Yes. Don’t mind the media. Everyone has lovers and haters”.
“Just clean your tears. You know what, if they don’t love you, we’re here for you and also you got the most sweetable guy on your side so cheer up”.
“Thanks”. My phone rang. It was Rhaegar. “Hello”.
“Are you okay? I saw the news on the media”.
“I’m fine. It’s nothing”.
“Don’t worry. I’ve got this”.
“Thanks”.
“I’ll take you out for dinner tonight”.
“Okay”. I dropped the line and sighed.
“Enchant me”. I said to Bayern.
“What? I thought you don’t want me to”.
“It’s an order. Don’t you defy it”.
“I can’t”.
“What”?
“It’ll have an effect if I do”.
“So you can’t”?
“Yeah but someone can”.
“Who”?
“Someone who truly love you”.
“Are we in fairyland or something”?
“Well I can’t enchant you. You should look ugly tonight and if someone eventually falls in love with you, everything is settled”.
“That’s quite easy”. I took out my phone and called Harrell. He wasn’t picking. “Come on please”. No answer.
“You could go out with the prince”.
“What? No I’m not. He doesn’t like me and I wouldn’t wanna look horrible in front of him”.
“Yeah he doesn’t but you can make him like you. Just like you did back then”.
“He doesn’t like me back then either and besides, I’m in a relationsh¡p”.
“It’s up to you then. I got to go”.
“Wait”. He stopped. “I….”.
“Deal”?
“No. I’m not doing it”.
“Fine then”. He left. I kept calling Harrell but he wasn’t picking. Dammit. A knock came on the door. “It’s not locked”.
“You ain’t dressed yet”.
“Rhaegar”. I got up. “What are you doing here”?
“I thought I told you we were going out for dinner”.
“Oh that’s right. You see I…..hum…”.
“You’re busy. I get it”.
“Do you like me”? The word came out from my mouth.
“I…”.
“Don’t say anything”. I cut in. “I’m crazy. I’m so crazy”.
“This is so hilarious”. He laughed.
“Yeah. So funny isn’t it”? I faked a smile but I was really embarrassed to death.
“Okay. Let me explain. I like you…..as a friend”.
“Yeah”. I forced a smile.
“That’s the relationsh¡p we both shared and nothing else”.
“Thanks”.
“I’ll get going since you’re busy. Take care”. He left and my phone beeped. It was a message from Harrell. A smile lit my face.
“I missed you”. I hugged him.
“You always do”. I let go.
“How do I look tonight”?
“You look stunning and beautiful”. He played with my hair.
“Thank you”.
“For what”?
“For always being there for me and not giving me enough chocolates to eat”.
“That’s a lie cause I got more chocolates for you”. We both laughed.
“You’re something else Harrell”.
“So”. He sighed. “Where should we start from. Club, beach, dinner”?
“I just want to be with you tonight”.
“As you wish my lady”. He led me in,side the restaurant.
“Put the bags in the car”. MJ said to Alice. We were going on an outing. Well it was on Rhaegar. “We’ve to get there on time”. We hopped in the car. The bus wasn’t full yet when we got there. Rhaegar arrived and the girls start to murmured among themselves.
“Aish. Too loud”. I wore my headset and t-rn on the music.
“Not that loud”. Alice said. She was seated beside me. He then entered. I averted my gaze from him so as not to notice me.
“Can I please sit here”? He asked Alice. “There’s much view here”.
“Sure”. She got up and he sat. After some minutes, he removed my headset.
“Hey”.
“I’ve been talking to you this while”.
“That’s because I’m trying not to get into a scandal with you”.
“So you ain’t talking to me”.
“Too loud”. I put on my headset back. We reached out destination. Jane was already waiting.
“Looks like your girlfriend is here”.
“She’s not my girlfriend”.
“Then what’s she? Wify? Baby mama? G ma”?
“What”?
“I’ve to go”.
“So”?
“Get your ass up”.
“You’re quite funny”. He smiled. “See ya later”. He left.
“I hate you”. I mumbled and carried my bag.
The air fragrance was lovely. The view was so beautiful. Such a nice s₱0t. I took some pictures.
“Looks like someone live this place more than I do”. It was Jussie.
“Oh hi”. I smiled. “What are doing here”?
“Same as what you came to do”. He smiled.
“I’ve to go and help my friends out”.
“Sure”. I left.
We were all assembled together.
“Pick up a paper and if you guys have the same number then you two are paired up”.
“Let’s see”. I picked up mine. “Thirty six”.
“I’m thirty six too”.
“Oh no”. I dropped the paper. “I’m out of this game”.
“No, no. Come back Ms Kent. We don’t care if you two are not on good terms. This is a friendly game. I think this is an opportunity for you two to settle up your disputes”.
“Fine”. I took the paper back.
“Here’s what you’re going to look for. You’re going to find a missing crown. It’s out there in the forest. So the winner will collect a brand new tab with cash and no work. So just enjoy and chill out. The time duration is two hours. That’s all”. We all left. I shouldn’t have joined in the game. Who knew I’ll partnered with this witch.
We walked deeper looking for the so called crown.
“I don’t like loosing”. She said. “What’s your relationsh¡p with Rhaegar? You aren’t his type. He loves girls with bigger b-obs while yours are…….. Just what the hell is your relationsh¡p with him”?
“Can’t say”. I kept walking. I was on too of a cliff.
“Hey! Rhaegar is mine. No one dare to take him away from me”. She pulled me.
“Suit yourself then”.
“You’re so rude”.
“Can you please stop talking. I’m trying to look for the crown”.
“Oh my”. She gasp. “The crown”.
“Where”? I turned to look at the direction but she push me off the cliff. I scre-med. Then my head hit a hærd stone and I passed out.
It was so cold.
“Ouch”. I tried to sit upright but I couldn’t. I was glued to the floor. I couldn’t feel my body. It was night. Everywhere was dark. I felt something trucking down my head. I was bleeding. She was really going to kill me. My head keep banging so hærd. I’d lost so much blood. “Please help me”. I murmured as my eyes closed. I was gonna died. I could feel the sky calling into me. I was going. “I….”. I murmured something which I couldn’t seemed to hear. I was gone. I could see myself crossing a bridge.
“Why are you here young lady”? A man appeared from nowhere.
“To be part of the blessed”. He moved his hand towards me and touched me. His hand went through my body.
“You ain’t dead yet. Only the dead comes here”.
“I was not long ago”.
“You aren’t dead yet. You’ve to go back. Your ques hasn’t been completed”.
“What’s my quest”?
“You’ll find out yourself”. He ordered my soul back.
“I’m Kelly Kent”. I was fading away slowly.
“We all know you”. I was gone.
I gasp for breath.
“Princess. Are you alright”? It was Bayern.
“I…”. I sat upright. “Oh shit. I was really having a good dream. Why are you here”?
“You summoned me”.
“I”? Then I recalled the event which happened.
“What happened? You were badly injured”.
“Someone pushed me”. I got up. “I’ve to go. The others might be worried about me”.
“Okay. Take care princess”.
“Sure”. He left. “I should have asked him to teleport me back to the camp”. I start to walk. Someone was calling my name from a distance. It was Rhaegar. He must have been so worried.
“Kelly”!
“I’m over here”! I smiled as he run over to me.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere”?
“I’m fine”. He hugged me.
“You got me worried. I thought something bad had happened to you”.
“I just got lost that’s all”. He let go. “What about the others”.
“They went searching for you. Let’s go. You must be so hungry”. He held my hand. “Can you walk”?
“Yeah. My legs are totally fine”.
“Let’s go then”. We left.
“Why did you do that”? I asked Jane. “I almost died”.
“Well you seems okay to me”.
“What”?
“I didn’t know. I’m sorry. It wasn’t intentional”.
“I’m letting this go. Next time you try such, I’ll shave all your hair off”. I left her on the s₱0t and joined in the game.
“Let’s play”. Alice said.
“Yes. Let’s play”.
“I’ll ask first”. MJ said. “Lance, what’s your grade”.
“Must you ask. Fine it’s A”.
“Ooh”. Everyone exclaimed.
“I’ll ask too”. Lance said. “Who’s your boyfriend Kelly”?
“Well. It’s Harrell and I love him”.
“Wow”.
“It’s my turn now”. I said. “What were you keeping from me earlier Domina”.
“It’s just a book. It’s my turn. Rhaegar. Who did you have your first k-ss with”?
“It’s…..I…..”. He couldn’t find a word to say. “I don’t have any. Does that answer to your question”?
“Okay”.
“It’s my turn now”. He said. “Kelly”. He looked at me. “Please do me a favour”.
