Quinton hurried his steps as he carried the unconscious Viktor, Viktor was his best friend and he’s so damned worried about him, even as he carried Viktor, he didn’t feel anything, it was surprising, Viktor weighs a ton, and he and this half Indian girl were carrying him and he didn’t feel anything, they got to the main road and the girl dumps him down unceremoniously, making sure Viktor hits his head on the rough tiled floor, he almost thought he heard a muffled scre-m but he couldn’t be too sure.
Shanaya stared at Viktor, the longing was too much for her to control but Erica had said she shouldn’t kill him, when Erica had said he was going to rape her, she was supposed to kill him, the same way she killed her father, she hated them all, all the males, even as she stared at Quentin, she controlled the sudden urge to hurt him, she headed back to the school before she does something disastrous,
Quentin flagged down a taxi immediately
The Indian girl left, but it was almost impossible to pull Viktor up, even the taxi
driver came down to help, but was surprised Quentin the most was that as soon as they carried Viktor into the taxi, he rubbed his two eyes together and stands up immediately
” ah Viktor! don’t tell me you didn’t faint ”
” no faint ke! That girl is a confirm demon you need to see her eyes, I quickly lie down for ground because if not, it’s death, in fact she almost killed me , as I lie down na I just dey pray say make she no kill me ” Viktor replied rubbing the marks on his neck where Shanaya had almost killed him with her nails

” shouldn’t you be happy that I’m still alive, but Quen , seriously Im dead already , in fact I’m already seeing death ”
” thank God you know, how can you do such a thing, you lied to a girl about something everyone in school knows about, do you still remember the slap she gave you some days back, you know it’s took a wh0le thirty minutes before your brain did a reboot, if that girl kills you, the only help I’ll render is calling Kwame to come and carry your corpse ”

The taxi driver asked getting impatient

Quentin said
Viktor shut his eyes and hit his head on the back seat in frustration, why does it matter so much to him that Erica had found out the truth now, he knew why, he had started to get interested in her, he didn’t want to let her go, it wouldn’t have mattered to him if it was some days back but now he didn’t want to lose his troublesome girlfriend
” Quen please you need to help me, I know you’re good with those emotional words, I know you can preach very well, you have to help me talk to her”
” talk to who? So she can kill me ? Do you know the advice that I’ll give you, I’ll advice you to go as far as sambisa or even Sahara des**t, in fact don’t come to school for a few days ” Quentin said, obviously annoyed that Viktor would want to turn him to a sacrificial lamb.
” I don’t want her to leave me ”
Viktor said and Quentin had to strain his ears before realizing what Viktor actually said, such huge confession was a shock coming out of Viktor’s mouth, Quentin was surprised because he knows Viktor’s dream girl and he knew Erica was nothing but a game to him
” what about Sasha, have you gotten over whatever it is that you feel for her ”
” I don’t know but I think about her lesser,
although I still paint her, at times I don’t think about her at all and at times it’s hærd to get her out of my fvcking mind”
” then I’ll advice you, please leave Erica alone, because your uncertainty will only hurt her, what am I even saying, that’s if you survive the beatings she would give to you, RIP in addy bro ”

For three years, I have been living a lie and now that I know the truth it’s almost surreal, but what really amazes me the most is Sasha’s selflessness, even when I showed her nothing but coldness, she was always there to help me, even when I insulted her, she was still there
I dipped a forkful of pasta into my mouth , relishing every flavor, Mr Rogers is really a talented cook
Sasha returned from her room wearing a different outfit, we continued staring at each other until she averted her gaze
I had always felt this intense hatred anytime I looked at her but it’s all gone

I found myself apologizing, she raised her head up sharply

The depraved, conceited and hurt part of me was almost tempted to say it but instead I faked a smile, trying to keep the anguish from my voice as I spoke

A group of girls were at the front of the school the next day, Sasha knew this girls very well, they’re the MEAN GIRLS, They’re the DREAM GIRLS, they’re the student of LIFEFORTE schools, they only come here to insult us, calling us cowards for not participating in the dream girl competition, but it was a trap, they would always be the dream girl because they will scheme against every single person that tries to take thier trophy
” hey don’t you want to join our school’s competition, don’t tell me you’re a coward ”
They said to her, but for the first time, Sasha didn’t ignore them, infact it gave her an idea, she was going to participate in this competition but she needed a team, only if she could convince those girls to join her.
Even if this competition is dangerous, if it’s the only thing that will bring her and the girls together, then she will do it
