🌻 James POV 🌻
******Flashback******
“Eeewwww” Andrea said as we saw a couple kissing outside the eatery
“What’s eeewww? What’s so wrong in kissing?”
“It’s….. It’s just too cheesy, there’s no way am ever doing that with anyone” she said
“I bet you will few years from now when you’ve got a boyfriend”
“If I have to do something so cheesy with anyone then it has to be you” she said absentmindedly
“What?”
“Well you don’t expect me to do such an embarrassing thing with another guy, at least with you I won’t feel so embarrassed” she said and I smiled
“Andrea” I called and she looked at me
“Some years from now when you’re old enough to start dating, don’t date any guy that asks you out”
“If I don’t date then who will marry me when I grow up?”
“Me” I said and she laughed but I maintained a straight face
“Oh you’re serious”
“Of course am serious, don’t date anyone, if marriage is going to be the problem then I’ll marry you” I said
“Fine but you have to promise me, cause am not about to shun all guys that’ll come my way and then later you go back on your words and leave me stranded”
“I’ll marry you, I promise” I said and she smiled

“Please, please, please…..” I repeated as Julia was rushed to the hospital
“You must save her” I said to the doctor as I grabbed his collar
“She got shot in the head Mr, the chances of her surviving is as slim as anything so if you wish well for her, you will let me go and see what I can do” he said and I let him go
I sat on the ground in front of the operation room with my hands covered in blood
My world is collapsing right in front of me
Why is Fate so cruel to me? Why?
Michael and the rest of them came in later on
“Dad has being arrested” Michael said
“He’ll have to undergo some trials but he’ll be thrown in jail soon” Stefan said
All they said meant nothing to me
I’ll I just want is for my girl to be alright, that’s all I’ve ever wanted
“Fate will have to smile on you this time James cause you’ve suffered enough, you deserve to be happy” Michael said
We waited for hours outside the operation room but there was no word of what was happening in there
“Don’t die please” I prayed
12 years ago when I believed you were dead, what kept me going was the thought of revenge on the one who killed you but now? If something happens to you there’s no one to seek revenge on since he’s already being punished, if you leave me now, I will disappear along with you so please fight for your life, fight for me
The doctor came out of the operation room and we all sprang up

I silently prayed
“It’s a miracle” the doctor said with a smile “She was shot right in the head but she survived, she’s alive and breathing”
I heaved a deep sigh as it felt like a weight just fell off my shoulders
“Did she by any chance loose her memories before?” The doctor asked and I nodded
“She did, when she was 10” I said
“The hitting impact of the bullet affected her brain” the doctor said and my heart fell
“What …. what’s going to happen? Will she be alright?” I asked quickly
“Please let me finish talking” the doctor said “The vibration affected the dormant part of her brain and according to our MRI machine, those part of her brains our working now” he smiled and I looked at him confused
“Can you explain further doctor?” Tyler asked
“It means when she wakes up, she’ll probably remember all the memories she forgot when she was 10, we don’t know for sure but the probability is very high” the doctor said and Michael hugged me
“I told you Fate will smile on you, I told you it will!” He said and I laughed as tears fell from my eyes
🌻 Julia’s POV 🌻
…… “Watch where you stand! The hallway isn’t meant for you alone blockhead!!”…….
…… “Since you aren’t really anticipating your birthday party, you can come to mine instead……
…… “What’s classy if you aren’t happy?”…….
…… “I’ll marry you, I promise”……
……. “My Dad, he suddenly collapsed and he was rushed to the hospital, the doctors said it was a heart attack and he might not make it, I don’t want to lose him James”…….
The memories all came to me at once and I could see myself by the road holding some drugs i bought for my Dad
I sighted James on the other side and I wanted to cross and meet him and then I got hit by car
“Noo!!!!” James shouted and I suddenly opened my eyes to a very bright place with an anesthetic smell
Hospital
I noticed James asleep by my side with his head on my bed
“She’s awake!!” Rachel exclaimed waking up James and they all ran to my bed
“Julia, are you okay?” Sarah asked
“Can you see me clearly?” Stefan asked
“Do you feel any pain anywhere?” Michael asked
“Wait a minute, I’ll go call the doctor” Tyler said as he ran out and I looked at James who was staring at me with teary eyes
“You remember me?” He managed to ask and I nodded
“I can’t believe I really forgot you blockhead” I said and he hugged me
“I missed you so much!” He cried
“Am sorry for causing you so much pain, am so sorry James” I cried too
“Did I just hear someone crying? Come on, it’s a happy occasion, no tears!” James’ Nanny said as she walked in
She walked up to me and hugged me
“Am so glad you are back child, you brought happiness into this gloomy family once again”
“Thank you Nanny” I muttered with a smile
The doctor came in with Tyler and examined me
“She’s fine for now, there’s nothing to worry about but we’ll have to continue monitoring her, the bullet had hit her skull so until her skull starts healing, I’ll have keep watching her progress” the doctor said
“So what do we call you now? Julia or Andrea?” Rachel asked
“Why are you asking? You hated both of them” I said and she scoffed
“Yeah both of them were obviously very rude but when you were kidnapped, I was sincerely worried about you, am happy you are back Andrea or Julia” she said and we laughed “At least James will stop sulking around now”
“Are you sure you are being sincere? In all my memories, both as Andrea and Julia, you were crazily in love with James” I said raising my brows and Michael stood up
“That’s in the past, she’s with me now” Michael said
“Yeah, Michael and I are dating” Rachel nodded
“What?!! How many years was I unconscious for?!” I exclaimed
“Congratulations brother” James hugged Michael
“Okay, what’s up with this sudden brotherly love, you guys used to hate each other” I said and they laughed again

“And to add to that list, Sarah and I, we are dating too” Stefan said
“What?!!” We all exclaimed
“For how long?! Why didn’t you tell me man?” James said
“In all the commotion that was happening then, it wasn’t the right time” Stefan replied
“Is there anyone that isn’t dating in this room?! Come on Tyler, spill it too, who are you dating?” I asked and he laughed
“Well since everyone has a partner, I can’t be all alone can I? Am with my Nanny!” Tyler hugged Nanny and we laughed
“Wow, I guess we are the only lone ones here James” I said
“Why are we alone, we are together too” James said
“I don’t remember you asking me out”
“But am sure you remember the promise we made, am to marry you when you grow up and now that you’ve grown, we are obviously together” he said
“That was with Andrea, you are speaking to Julia now”
“Both Andrea and Julia loved me, Julia and I kissed remember?” He said and my cheeks went red
“Come on, stop being so cheesy!” I said and he laughed
“Umm….. Do you guys realize we are all still here” Rachel said
“Let us be Rachel, we just reunited after a very long time” James said and I nodded and the rest of them laughed…..
James and I sat in the hospital garden watching the sunset
“What happened to your father?” I asked
“He’s not my father anymore” James said
“Okay, what happened to Mr Whistler?”
“He was sentenced to 50 years in prison and considering he’s already old, I bet he’ll die in jail” he said
“Will you be okay with that?” I asked
“Okay? Come on am damn happy about it, that man deserves what he’s got and more” he said and I smiled
“What happened to my…..to the Campbells, what happened to them?”
“In jail too, they are Mr Whistler’s accomplice so they are serving their jail time of 7 years” he said and I nodded
“So since we are on the topic, which should I use to address you, Julia Campbell or Andrea Jones?” James asked
“Julia Campbell was a fake identity that Mr Whistler gave to me in his effort to separate us, I have always been and will always be your Andrea” I said and he smiled
“I feel like I’ve lived two lives now, one as Andrea, the other as Julia” I said
“And in both lives, we loved each other, even time couldn’t keep us part” he said and I nodded
“You are right James, I’ve always loved you, you are the only one for me James, the only one” I said and we stared at each other passionately
Then James kissed me
“You witnessed how miserable my life was without you, don’t you ever leave me again Andrea” he said
“I won’t, I promise” I said and he kissed me again
In the sunset, basking in our love for each other, we talked and laughed
Our love passed the test of time
My James has always loved his Andrea, from Dusk Till Dawn
