Sean stared at her and the rock she was pointing at.
“You live in a f*cking rock? How the heck is that possible?” He asked, giving her a questioning look.

Hazel smiled and adjusted her jacket.
“I came to get some leaves for some potion. Well, I get to see you every night when you come to, you know destroy the whole forest”

“I’m sorry about that. I do that whenever I’m angry” he said and looked away from her.

Hazel sprung up.
“There are different ways to control your anger. Find someone to talk to if you are angry than to scatter the whole forest, that works for me” she said and turned to leave.

“Hazel?”

She stopped and faced him.
“Huh?”

“Good night” he said.

She nodded and walked away.

Sean watched how she did her magic and entered the rock.
A wow escaped his lips.

“A witch? I should have asked her if she knew Kylie, my mother” he thought and swiftly left the forest.

The next morning, Gabriel walked beside Sean.
He yawned tiredlessly.
“Ah! I love Fridays”

“Why?” Sean asked softly.

“Cos there’s no school tomorrow” he replied.

Sean found himself smiling.
“Bloody asshole!” He said and went to his locker.

“Hmmm, such a coincidence” Gabriel said.

“What’s that?”

“This is the same locker your mother used, I mean, Kylie” he said.

Sean touched the locker, brushing his finger on it.
“I really want to meet her, very soon”
“Any more information about her?” He added.

“Oh yeah” Gabriel replied and brought out his phone.

“Well, I saw some things last night. She got married to a witch and…is blessed with two kids”

“Where did you find that out?” He murmured.

“She has a facebook profile. The pictures are there and I could tell that he is a witch”

Sean collected the phone and saw Allison’s picture there.
“That means she’s my step sister”

“Who are you talking about?”

“The girl from yesterday. The junior who was yelling”

“Oh I remember, f*ck! That hot chick turned out to be your step sister”

Sean started thinking deep.
“I need her to get my mom”

“Then what are you going to do? You can’t just go up to her and tell her. Hey, I’m your step bro!” Gabriel said mimicking his voice.

Sean frowned and walked away.
“I know how to do this”

A smile crept on Gabriel’s face as he followed his naughty friend into the classroom.

During lunch, Allison sat alone with her laptop on the table.
She was slowly eating her fries as she did her project.

Suddenly, she heard some screams.
It was the ladies as usual.

She turned and saw Sean. Her crush.
She didn’t want to act like a moron so she just neglected him and went on with her project.

“What the heck is he doing in the Junior’s canteen?” She asked herself.

Suddenly, she saw that someone was blocking the light.
She raised her head and saw Sean. Immediately, her heart started to beat faster. Her eyes shot wide.
She stood up, staring at him.

“Hi”

“Hey Allison” he said and sat opposite her.

Everyone stared at Allison, wishing they were in her shoes.
They started to rumor that Allison and Sean were dating.

“Why are you here senior?” She asked.

“Can’t I visit you anymore?” He asked jokingly.

Allison chuckled.
“I didn’t say so. Yesterday, you didn’t want to look at me, now you want to look at me, sit with me” she said.

Sean smiled.
“Fine, I’ll leave now. I’ll see you after school hours” he said and left.

Allison rolled her eyes.
“Something is definitely fishy. He wants to date me and dump me. I won’t let him” she said and ate her fries.

Allison went to her locker and grabbed her bag after school.
She turned and bumped into Sean.

“Hey!”

“F*ck! You frightened me!” She yelled.

“I’m sorry. Can I drop you off?” He asked.

She stared at him for some time.
“Are you going to date me?”

Seam quickly shook his head.
“No, I’m not” he said.

“Fine then, drop me off” she said and walked away.
She just love the way Sean suddenly became close to her.

She was happy within but doesn’t want to show it.

“Don’t be late for the party tomorrow, it starts exactly 8pm” a girl was telling Allison.

“Sure, I won’t!” She said and left.

Sean heard that. He remembered the invite he saw on his computer.
It must be the same party.

After some minutes, Sean dropped Allison off.
“Can’t I come in?” He asked.

“Fine, follow me, you have to leave before my mom gets back” she said and went out of the car.

“Oh my! I remembered I have some important work to do. Maybe next time, bye!” He said and drove off.

Kylie wasn’t home, why else would he come in. He’s doing all that just to see his mother.

Allison frowned, watching Sean’s car as it drove out of sight.
She started jumping for Joy by the roadside.
“Finally! He get to speak to me! Yes!!!” She danced into the house.

“Guess what mom?” Allison asked her mother as they all ate dinner together.

“Tell me baby, what’s it?”

“The senior I told you that I had a crush on. He dropped me off today” she said.

“Woah! That’s unbelievable!” She replied.

“Did he ask for sex?”

“Gross. No dad!” She said and chuckled.

“We’ll be spending the weekend with granny”

“Oh no mom. I have a party to attend” she said.

“Then you have to cancel the party” Kylie said.

Allison frowned and dropped her napkin.
“Good night then!” She said and left.

“Allison? Allison?!” Kylie called her but she didn’t respond. She just walked away and ran to her room.

“She will understand very soon sweetheart” Jasper tried to calm her down.

Kylie sighed deeply. She didn’t want to be angry because of little things.

“I can’t let her go out on her own. She’s not up to eighteen” she said.

“Well, she will be next month” Jasper said.

“Good night mom, good night dad!” Josh said and went to place his plate in the sink.

“Come here baby” Kylie said and hugged Josh, kissing him repeatedly on the face.

“Bye sweetie. Sleep well” she said.

Josh did his special handshake with his father and he went into his room.

“When do you intend to tell her about us?”

“Us?”

“I mean, our secret identity, her powers?”

“When she’s eighteen” Kylie replied.

“I believed my mom made a mistake when she hid the truth away from me but I see the impact. If she didn’t, I would have been dead a long time ago. My daughter might be a hybrid just as I am but I have to keep her safe just like my mother did” she said.

Jasper nodded.
“I’m always with you Kylie” he said.

She just smiled.
“I’ll clear the dishes now” she said and stood up.

Allison started arranging her bag. She wasn’t happy that she’s spending the weekend at granny’s place.

Elina was in her house. She moved there after she had given the title of the head to someone else.

She heard the doorbell.
“Coming!!” She sang.
She walked to the door and opened it only to see her beautiful family.

“Granny!” Josh yelled and jumped on Elina.

“Hey grandma!” Allison said and went in with her bag.

“Welcome everyone! I made lunch already, who’s hungry?”

As they ate lunch, Allison was thinking of a way to leave the house. She wanted to attend the party. Her mother never allowed her attend any party before, she wished she could go to this one.

“I’ll be meeting with Lilly and the others today. Please help me watch the kids” she said to Elina and Jasper.

“Of course, Josh and I have a lot to talk about. Right Josh?”

Josh nodded and ate a spoonful of mashed potatoes.

“Mom?”

“If it’s about the party Allison, it’s still a no. You aren’t going anywhere!” She said.

Allison angrily left the table again. She didn’t like the way her mother was keeping her too safe.

“I’ll check on her” Jasper said and left.

“Baby?” He called out but Allison was crying into her pillow.

“Why does mom hate me so much?” She asked.

“She doesn’t hate you. She just wants to keep your protected. You will know about all this very soon” he said.

“Oh please dad, she hates me and I hate her too”

Jasper shook his head. He remembered when he always tell his mother the same words.
“I’ll advice you not to anger your mother and just obey her” he said and left.

Allison just sat there, crying. She just wanted to go to the party.

When it was 7pm, Kylie left the house.
She reminded Jasper again not to allow Allison out of the house before leaving.

Allison just stayed in her room, hugging her pillow.

Sean went to the party and saw that Allison wasn’t there. He waited for some minutes but she still didn’t come.
He left the party and went deeper into the woods.

He looked round, looking for someone but there was no sign of the person.

He sighed deeply. He was disappointed that everyone he was expecting didn’t show up.

He turned to leave and saw Hazel standing before him.
“Looking for someone?” She asked.
