~ CALVIN MANSION ~

Beth ran out of the mansion, Late for school.

On getting out she was surprised to see Calvin, all dressed and ready for school standing in front of his car obviously waiting for someone.

Bowing her head in greeting, she turn to leave when he stopped her by calling her name.

“Get in, I will take you to school” he offered.

Beth thought he was talking to someone else and turned to see if anyone was behind her.

“Am talking to you” Calvin said which got her starring at him’ again.

“Why would you do that?” She asked.

“Cause I want to” he replied.

“If this is about yesterday, I already told you that my mouth is sealed and you don’t have….”

“It isn’t because of that and so get into the car, I will take you to….what are you doing?” Calvin asked when he watch her hail a cab.

“Am going to school and for your information sir, have been going to school by myself all my life, I don’t need you being my chauffeur” she said coolly before getting into the car leaving Calvin dumbstruck.

Did she just refer to him as her chauffeur? He thought feeling angry at life.

Why did it have to be her? If one of the students he found had been Katrina or Josephine, he wouldn’t have this problem. He thought as he got into the car.

“So what should we do this weekend?” Dexter asked.

“A party?” Josephine suggested.

“That’s boring, we did that during the last weekend. Let’s go on a trip” Willow suggested

“That’s more boring you dummy!”

“Am thinking we should go on a camping trip? What do you think Calvin” Dexter asked but Calvin who stood by the window obviously lost in thoughts wasn’t listening.

“Calvin” Josephine called which jolt him back to reality.

“Did you call me?” He asked.

“Why did you zoom off to?” Willow asked moving towards him.

“Just thinking about some stuffs but I don’t think am the only one who zoomed off” Calvin said starring at Katrina who also was deep in thought but had a mischievous smirk on her face.

“Now what are you thinking of?” Josephine said hitting the desk to jolt Katrina out of her reverie.

“Nothing much” Katrina replied still having that smile on her face.

“Whenever you smirk in that manner then you must be up to some thing bad” Dexter said.

“Is there some one new you are bullying?” Willow asked.

“Well there is some one i intend to teach a lesson or two today” Katrina replied.

“Who? ” Dexter asked.

“Who do you think have been getting on my nerves lately?” Katrina asked and after they all reason it they called out at the same time.

“Beth!”

On hearing that Calvin who had been paying less attention to what they were saying finally did.

“Bingo ” Katrina muttered in reply.

“What did you do and what did she do?” Calvin found himself asking before any one did.

“Well she kind of messed with me yesterday and so I got some students to teach her a lesson or two” Katrina said.

“And that lesson or two is what exactly?” Calvin asked again.

“Well she’s in one of the empty classes with three to four guys, what do you think will happen to her?” Katrina asked in return.

“You really are some thing!” Calvin barked at her before running out of the lounge they use startling every one of them.

“I have a feeling that he’s going to help her”Josephine said smiling slowly.

“And does that sound good to you?” Katrina asked glaring at her.

“No, it doesn’t” Josephine replied making a straight face.

“Err, I better go and look for Eric” Josephine added before sauntering out of the class.

Calvin got to an empty class which he knew was a place where the RFR uses in bullying people.

He knew that since they showed it to him them selves.

He was surprised to see Eric, the last member of the RFR standing in front of the door way.

“Come to help?” Eric asked having a smirk on his face.

“I have and why on earth are you just standing here with out doing a thing?” Calvin yelled at him.

“I don’t have to do a thing” Eric said moving out of the way just as the door open and a fierce looking Beth walk out of the class.

Calvin was startled at first to see her coming out unharmed but on seeing the three guys Katrina had sent to her on the floor, he finally understood.

“What! Did Katrina also send you two?” She asked clenching her fist and prepared to punch them if necessary but Eric moved back, his hands up and still having the smirk on his face.

And Calvin slowly move for her to walk past which she did.

She was half way down the hall when she turned to yell at them both.

“Tell Katrina that it would take a whole lot of her side kicks to get to me and if she’s a real woman, let her come face me herself” with that said, she continued her journey not pausing to look her back for any possible danger.

Calvin was still starring when Eric burst into laughter beside him.

“She’s the type I like. A strong woman,a sexy badass” Eric muttered his gaze on Beth while Calvin wondered what he meant by his first statement.

{ His Determination }

Beth got back home feeling exhausted, apart from having to face those jerks from earlier she had also been given a lot of task and she knew that it’s all Katrina’s doing.

Since she’s no longer working in their home, her exertion of power will continue at school which she’s sure will never end.

Deciding to go to the kitchen instead of the maid quarters.

She got there and was about pouring a glass of water when the door opened revealing two men in black, people in whom she has never seen before.

“Can I help you sir?” She asked feeling weird about staying in the same room with them.

When they didn’t say anything and began to move towards her, Beth took to her heels but she didn’t even make it as far to the door before they captured her.

“Let go of me!” She scream fighting one of them off but the other put a hood over her head and hoisted her over his shoulders.

Though she kept yelling at them to put her down, they did no such thing and carried her off.

All Beth could think of was that Katrina manage to find her and that this goon were taking her to some where to be punished.

She kept pounding the man back but that didn’t deter him.

She heard a door open and when they set her on her feet and down into a soft couch.

She was prepared to fight her way out once the hood was taken off her head and when that did happen, she stretched forth her leg, ready to kick whoever was in front of her but her leg was caught quickly.

“That was a save call” Raymond who had almost been kicked in groin by her said smiling down at her.

“I told you she’s a bull when it comes to fighting” Calvin who had been standing by the window side spoke up suddenly and that got her starring at him.

“So, this is your doing?” Beth asked glaring at him.

“Sorry. I didn’t mean to bring you here this way but I had to which resorted in me…..” He didn’t finish his sentence because Beth move towards him, pushing him against the wall.

“You might be my boss and I might be a maid in your house but that doesn’t give you the right to treat me this way!” She yelled at him startling Calvin in to silence and this sudden outburst got her standing very close to him which got him starring at her grey eyes which at that moment sparkled in anger.

“Well, I think you should blame me cause I was the one who instructed the guards to kidnap you here” Raymond said behind her, getting her attention and that gave Calvin the upper hand.

Taking hold of her arm, He turned her around and got her standing with her back against the wall while he stood over her, trapping her with his body.

“You might have your own problems like you claim and I also do have mine and one of it is getting your help” he said starring down at her in anger.

“I have no intention of helping you” she stated fiercely.

“But you haven’t even heard what I need your help for” Calvin said.

“And I don’t need to ”

“Do you know that you are quite annoying?” Calvin asked.

“I know and I don’t need you to tell me that, so get off me!” She said pushing at him.

“If you two will just stop the banter and listen to me instead” Raymond said clearing the hot animosity between them.

Slowly Calvin push away from her while she walk past him back to the sofa.

“What’s this about?” She asked knowing she won’t be let out of the room without listening to them.

“You see, some months ago I held a party at my house and during that night Calvin well spent a night with…..”

“You don’t have to go into the sordid detail” Calvin said behind him while he glared at Beth who in return glared at him.

“Well,Calvin met with this girl and she’s a vital part of him which he needs to find and that’s where you come in” Raymond continued.

“Why does he need to find her?” Beth asked

“She kind of disappeared on him that night” Raymond said.

“Didn’t he see her face?” Beth asked while Raymond nodded.

“The party I held was a masked party. Her face was covered and so Calvin didn’t get to see her face” Raymond continued.

“So how does this concern me?”

“Well we found out that she’s one of the eleven student from Wilmer high who attended the party that night and since you are one of the students amongst the eleven student then you might as well lead us to the ten other students who attended the party that night ” Raymond finished.

She was quiet for a while and she stared at the two men for a while before giving them her answer.

“Am sorry but I can’t do it ” she said getting up but Raymond took hold of her hand.

“Please, we are in need of your help. It’s one of the reasons why Calvin disguised himself to be a high schooler and attend your school” Raymond said.

“I can’t remember clearly who went to the party from our school, so I suggest you find someone else for help” Beth stated.

“Why? I clearly heard you talking about it with Jason. Is it because you don’t want to remember the night you broke up with your ex that’s why your refusing to help?” Calvin asked.

“You know nothing about what happen between me and Jason” Beth retorted.

“Then why are you refusing to help?” He asked.

“Cause I don’t want to get involved in your business! I have my life to live and I don’t have to time to meddle in you rich princes life, so I suggest you find someone else and I won’t be surprise if you choose to fire me because of my refusal. That is common between rich people” she said to him and turn to leave.

“Common not all rich people are bad” Raymond said defending the rich.

“Run away all you want but that won’t stop me!” Calvin said suddenly which got her starring at him.

“I won’t give up until you agree to help. You are the only one who will lead me to the person am looking for and you will help me Beth, you will” Calvin added and some how Beth saw the determination in his eyes.

Her brain siezed for any retort and so she fled the room feeling that soon enough she will be engulf in Calvin ultimate pursuit to get her to say yes to him.
