Beneath every successful and great team is a pillar of trust and full corporation. Without this pillars, there can never be a successful union but even with these pillars there are some things that can utterly dismantle any union no matter how great they are and one of out these things are secrets.
Having to deal with Prometheus and the new order of Executioners is not an easy task and for that, all hands are needed on deck but unfortunately, Felicia’s secrets and Ade’s inability to deal with it has not only left us divided but also vulnerable and out numbered. Minutes after the fallout of Ade and Felicia, here I was alone in the living room wondering about what to tell the others. Whilst as I was deep in thought, Lola, Sonny and the others entered into the living room, I didn’t even notice them until Lola touched my shoulder.

Lola ➡ Chioma!

Chioma ➡ Huh? Oh Lola.

Lola ➡ What’s up? Are you okay?
.
Chioma ➡ (sighs) Not really. Something bad just happened.

Lola ➡ What is it? Were you attacked?
.
Chioma ➡ No.. It’s just…. Forget it. Why are you guys here?

Sonny ➡ Uhm, is there any we could get a ride.. Possibly one of Ade’s cars?

Chioma ➡ What for?
.
Sonny ➡ There’s a drug out on the streets. It’s very dangerous so we decided to check it out and put a stop to it.

Lola ➡ Since Ade is still missing.. Do you know where his car keys might be? We won’t put a dent on it. I’m an excellent driver.

Eve ➡ Who says Ade is still missing??

In that moment, Eve’s voice startled everyone making them turn towards her direction. Eve who was in camouflage mode revealed herself as she walked around the room casually.

Chioma ➡ Eve, what you did is inappropriate. How long have you been here?
.
Eve ➡ It doesn’t matter. Tell them what happened? They deserve to know.

Lola ➡ Chioma, what is she talking about?
.
Chioma ➡ It’s nothing.
.
Eve ➡ Oh please. It’s something. For those of you who don’t know. Ade is back and he’s in his room right now and our alliance is now divided.

Sunday ➡ Hold on, That freak is back?? Since when?

Eve ➡ An hour ago.
.
Chioma ➡ Eve what do you think they’re doing?

Eve ➡ Telling them the truth before they find out. Ade and Felicia are at odds and we’re now shorthanded.

Lola ➡ They fought? At a time like this? Is this joke? How can they be fighting at a time like this?

Eve ➡ Let’s just say that this is a very personal secret.

Sonny ➡ Well, is it something we should know?

Chioma ➡ No you don’t. It doesn’t concern you. At all.

Lola ➡ Well, we don’t have time to hear secrets. We have a job to do. Sonny, let’s go.

Chioma ➡ Before you leave, the keys of Ade’s cars are in the garage. Pick one and don’t make a scratch.

Lola. ➡ If we don’t run into any trouble we won’t. See you both later.

After Lola left with Sonny and the others, I glared at Eve who stood defiantly far from where I’m sitting staring squarely at me. I wanted to lash out at her but she cut me off before I could utter a word.

Eve ➡ They deserved to know what’s going on. Lying and keeping secrets is what got us into this mess.
.
Chioma ➡ It wasn’t your decision to make.
.
Eve ➡ It doesn’t matter now. If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be taking my leave.

Chioma ➡ Where do you think you’re going?
.
Eve ➡ I can’t stay here not that our alliance has fallen apart. I’ll be doing my own fighting from now on.

Chioma ➡ You can’t do that alone.

After Eve left the room, I felt completely distraught. Gradually our numbers were reducing and if this keeps up, we wouldn’t stand a chance against Prometheus or the Executioners. In that moment as I was trying to figure out a way to keep the rest of the group together, Eze emerged into the living room holding flowers and wrapped chocolate boxes. I wanted to lash out at him for being so carefree at a critical time like this but then it occured to me that he might not have known or heard about what went down.

Eze ➡ Hey beautiful.
.
Chioma ➡ Babe, what’s all this?
.
Eze ➡ Just a romantic gesture. After all, there’s nothing wrong with a man showing love to his woman.

Chioma ➡ Stop saying I’m your woman. We’re not married.
.
Eze ➡ Yet! The night is quite lovely tonight, why don’t we go out and have some fun to cool all these tensions.

There was nothing that I could say to Eze, all I did was stare at him and then look away sighing with depression. Eze who quickly noticed that something was wrong, dropped the flowers and chocolate boxes and sat next to me and clasped his hands with mine asking if something was wrong.

Eze ➡ Chi, is something wrong? You look depressed.
.
The words wouldn’t come out even though I wanted to tell Eze everything. Seeing that I was mute, Eze grabbed my shoulders gently but firmly and turned me towards me asking me the same question. Hearing the concern in Eze’s voice, I decided to tell him everything.
Eze listened as I briefly told him everything, he was surprised but he wasn’t that disturbed at all. After I was done telling him everything, he told me his own opinion.

Eze ➡ This is so messed up but that doesn’t mean all is lost.

Chioma ➡ Is there something you have in mind?

Eze ➡ Yes but it’s better we get to the agency and talk to the others about this. Having a few hands on deck is better than having none. Come on, let’s go.

This is exactly what I was afraid of and now it has happened. Ade hates me and now our alliance is falling apart. I knew I couldn’t hide this forever but I never expected this secret to be revealed especially during a critical time like this.
At first, I thought that Ade had heard about my secret from that rat bastard Hephaestus but I later found out that my secret was revealed to Ade by someone else who happens to have strong ties with Isabelle. I was flabbergasted when she told me, Jennifer and Iwonbi that there was a haven for Elites cut off and hidden from the eyes of the world. It turns out this so called Haven has been around for a very long time and they have been watching us without our knowledge. It pained me alot knowing that fact that they sat back and did nothing to protect us from the clutches of the Executioners all those years but nothing bothered me more than my fallout with Ade.

Jennifer ➡ This is unbelievable. How come you never told anyone about this Isabelle? Why?

Isabelle ➡ That wasn’t my choice to make.

Iwonbi ➡ She told me and she’s right.
.
Felicia ➡ Stop supporting her Iwonbi. Those miserable cowards ruined and sabotaged our alliance. I wish I knew where they were, I would have teleported a bag of cement into their throats.

Isabelle ➡ I know you’re angry Felicia but they believed that this is….
.
Felicia ➡ I don’t care what they believe. They’ve ruined everything, there’s no way Ade can ever let me into his life again. I don’t think I can even look at him anymore.

Jennifer ➡ Forget about that douche, Felicia.
.
Felicia ➡ Shut your mouth Jenny! You have no part in this. Where did you find the means to hurt Ade?

Jennifer ➡ Through Faruk’s wife. You know her abilities.

Felicia ➡ You could have killed Ade. You made things even worse when you interfered.

Jennifer ➡ Why are you still obsessing over that privileged prick? He made it point clear that he’s done with you. You don’t need him either. If he can’t understand what your reasons for doing what you did, then he can go to hell.

Felicia ➡ You’re a cold b-tch Jenny! Tell me, would you forgive me if you were in Ade’s shoes. His parents loved him despite the fact he turned out to be an elite. They risked it all by keeping him alive and they were good to him. Can’t you see why Ade was angry?

Jennifer ➡ Then he should at least be in your shoes to witness what you went through. What would he have done if he had seen what you saw that night?.

Felicia ➡ It doesn’t matter now. It’s over but that doesn’t mean the fight is.

Jennifer ➡ Wetin you dey talk about?

Isabelle ➡ Our main concerns, the Executioners and Prometheus.

Iwonbi ➡ This is going to be a very rough ride. We need the numbers.

Felicia ➡ We already have numbers. What we need is a plan.

Jennifer ➡ Let’s take out the Executioners first.

Felicia ➡ No, we don’t know where they are or who they are. We need to deal with Prometheus first. Their actions will only put us more in danger, we need to handle them first.

Iwonbi ➡ So where are we going to find them?
.
Jennifer ➡ No need to worry. I know someone that can help us with that.

Felicia ➡ Is it anyone that I know?
.
Jennifer ➡ No.. This person and I go way back.

Isabelle ➡ So where is this person now?

Things surely fell apart instantly when Felicia’s secrets were exposed and the consequences has now affected everyone. It would be bad if our enemies knew the state we were in cause they would use that advantage to take us out but I won’t wait for that to happen.
After I left Ade’s house, I headed straight back to my father’s house to take care of some things. Considering how things are now, I would have to get myself prepared in case of any unexpected assault or invasion.
Minutes later, I arrived at father’s house and went straight in and did what I set out to do. The first thing I did was copy all the confidential files about the Elites my father had Intel about but whilst I was busy coming the files, my enhanced hearing began to kick in picking up faint noises inside the house. In that moment, I became fully cautious and began to sniffle the air to pick up the scent or heat of the stranger inside the house. It didn’t take my long to realize who it was.

Eve ➡ Ali, I know its you. Come out.
.
In that moment, Ali dropped from the ceiling and landed on his feet perfectly. He wore his usual black robe and hoody not to mention his special set of knives that were already on his person.

Eve ➡ Your movements are getting better and better.
.
Ali ➡ If you can hear me, then its not.
.
Eve ➡ I have the abilities of every reptiles in this world. It’s impossible for me not hear your movements. So tell me, what are you doing here?
.
Ali ➡ You shouldn’t be here. If the Executioners are back then they know about the place and what you did.
.
Eve ➡ I can handle the Executioners. I did it once, I can do it again.
.
Ali ➡ Don’t get so confident.
.
Eve ➡ Oh please! What could those worthless fools possibly do to stop us?
.
Ali ➡ You have a lot to learn woman. Never underestimate your enemies. That’s the first step towards defeat.

Immediately after Ali’s statement, series of whirring sounds suddenly filled the air outside the house and before we could find out what was making those sounds, dozens of drones barged into the house. At first, Ali and I were shocked by the presence of the drones but then we became more shocked as we saw the logo of the Executioners on the machines.

Ali ➡ I knew it.
.
Eve ➡ Drones? Really? How cowardly of them.
.
Drones ➡ Traitorous daughter of Julius, your acts of betrayal has not been forgotten. Surrender now and face judgment.
.
Eve ➡ Why don’t you come here personally and do that?
.
Drones 2 ➡ You and your abominable kind will be wiped out and expunged from this world. This world is better off without freaks like you. Better to die.
.
In that split moment, the drone unleashed a heavy and devastating firepower on both Ali and I. Luckily for us, we were about to dodge the attack but I couldn’t say the same for the house. The firepower the drones were unleashing was no different from that of a machine gun. As Ali and I ran to safety, the drones followed us all over the house like magnets.

Ali ➡ This is too much. We need to act now or we’ll die.
.
Eve ➡ I agree. Let’s…
.
Ali ➡ BEHIND YOU.
.
Bringing out his knives as quickly as he could, Ali threw them and took out the incoming drone that was about to blow my head off. As others approached us, Ali brought out more of his knives and threw a ricochet shot taking out 2 of the drones. Despite how deadly Ali was, he couldn’t handle all of the drones by himself so I hardened my skin and threw myself at the drones tearing them apart. It took me seconds to smash the damned things to pieces.

Eve ➡ It’s over.
.
Ali. ➡ For now. We need to leave.
.
Eve ➡ Wait, we have company.
.
Ali ➡ I hope it’s not the drones?
.
Eve ➡ No. It’s someone else.
.
In that moment as Ali and I waited, a lady emerged into the room clapping her hands. She was alone and she was also an Executioner, her entire outfit was in silver color and she had a face mask on her face which concealed her identity. As for her physique, she was fit and attractive not to mention young. After clapping her hands for almost 3mins, the lady stopped and stared at Ali and I.

Monica ➡ My goodness. I can’t believe that this day as come. Who would have thought that I would get to see an elite in action, not to mention the traitorous daughter of the fallen leader.
.
Eve ➡ The same thing is going to happen to you. Who are you?
.
Monica ➡ Names aren’t necessary but you already know who I represent.
.
Ali ➡ Shegiya (b-tch), you’re going to regret ever coming here.
.
Monica ➡ Oh and you must be Ali, the assassin. That ricochet shot you did was amazing.
.
Eve ➡ Why are you here?
.
Monica ➡ Isn’t it obvious? You’re a traitor and you must be brought in for betraying your own kind. Honestly, I was hoping to meet the Teleporter and the phantom as . Your abilities fascinates me alot, it goes against everything we know about human evolution.
.
Eve ➡ Foolish b-tch, if you think you can take me in by yourself then you’re mad.
.
Monica ➡ (laughs) The only madness here is your existence and besides what makes you think that I’m alone? BOYS!!!
.
Within a blink of an eye, dozens of armed Executioners appeared and surrounded Ali and I. The weapons they held were nothing like the ordinary ones soldiers and police possess. Just as I was about to make my move, the b-stards fire their weapon on us which unleashed some kind of deafening sonic sound.
Ali and I fell on our knees covering our ears to block out the sounds, my powers instantly disappeared due the sounds that was affecting me. I can’t tell what Ali was going through but my pain was far more worse than his. Hearing this devastating sound at this close range with my super enhanced ears felt like my eardrums were about to explode. Just when I thought that I was going to die here like this, something unexpected occurred.
Suddenly in that moment, a bat flew into the room and began to screech loudly. The bat’s appearance made the Executioners cease their attacks, everyone thought the bat had lost its way but little did they realize that it didn’t. Within a matter of seconds, hundreds of bats swarmed into the house tearing the place apart. The Executioners were confused by the sudden appearance of the bats but what came next shocked them even more. Out of nowhere, hundreds of big area dogs poured into the house and jumped onto the Executioners unleashing fury on them. The b-stards tried to contain the situation but they were vastly outnumbered.
Whilst all this commotion was going on, Ade’s son Richard appeared and teleported away with Ali and I. Seconds later, we found ourselves at the Nova agency in the presence of Ace and the others.

Samson ➡ Good job Richard, however I hope you don’t tell your mom about this.

Richard ➡ I don’t care if she finds out.
.
Eve ➡ Everyone… How did you… Arrggh!
.
Kaitlyn ➡ Chill jare. You’re lucky this boy here came to your rescue.
.
Kabir ➡ Kate back off. Eve, you need to rest and tell us everything that went down. We need to know everything.
