Two days passed since we encountered Iwonbi and his group, To be honest, I was excited that there were others like us but what I didn’t like about them was the way they over crossed their boundaries by tapping into our minds.
Chioma and the rest thought that I despised them but that wasn’t true.. I just didn’t like how they treated us… During these past couple of days I couldn’t help but wonder about the situation we were in… Who could have thought that there were others out there who saw us as a threat? And that they were killing us one by one like livestock?… At first I thought this was all but nonsense and a blunder but I realized this thing was serious, The fall from the airplane was enough to make me realize that people like us were in danger and we are at war with our invincible nemesis.
The Executioners or whoever they are, They must be stopped… Although I do agree with some of their philosophy but I definitely don’t like the way they handle the matter.
They are just people and so are we… We’re the same, there’s no exception, Every human being is born with an ability or a gift, or a talent, except maybe ours was a bit extraordinary… They have no right to decide our fates and they absolutely have no right to include God’s name in their savagery and madness.

After we resumed school, The guys and I watched each others back keeping an eye on any stranger that looked Suspicious… Eze’s gift gave him an advantage but even in this risky situation, he couldn’t stop his usual annoying habit, Kabir on the other hand was also lucky, he had the insects and the birds around the school notify him if anyone was following us, as for me, My spirit friends did their part keeping me informed of any weird activity.. The only person that wasn’t lucky like the rest of us was Chioma, she was vulnerable in times like this, so She decided to stick with us and followed us wherever we went except maybe the toilet.
But despite being on Alert, we had no idea who was a member of the Executioners!?.. We know the face of their leader but the members, that’s a problem… So in order to avoid any mishaps, I decided to seek the assistance of one of my spirit friends only except this one was different from the others, cause he’s a demon.
According to the holy books, Demons are beings that live 10times longer than humans, Though they’re invisible to the human eyes, it is said that the walk among us, some of these demons in order to enjoy the pleasures of life possess human bodies… Religious nut cracks believe that if any human sees their true form that they’ll die.. Well, I don’t believe it cause I have seen lots of them and live to tell the tale.
The demon that I would like to seek help from calls himself Atlas.. He’s resourceful and very valuable because he knows about everyone in the Lagos, He’s been here long enough even before Lagos was created, he had also witnessed a lot of things that had happened centuries ago even before the advent of white men into Lagos.. He also knows the future, that is what’s going to happen in years to come but in order to get that information from him a price must be paid and that price is that the rest of your life span will be shorten to 24hours, that is to say, you’ll just have a day to live before you die.
Summoning Atlas wasn’t that hærd, all i had to do was call his name and he would appear in an instant.
So later that day in school, I called out to him and he appeared.

Atlas ➡ Ade you lucky dog.. Why are you bothering me during a day like this?

Ade ➡ Sorry Atlas.. I need your help..
.

Atlas ➡ Help? OK… What is it?
.

Ade ➡ Well, my friends and I are being hunted by some group of people or rather an org-nization that call themselves *EXECUTIONERS*..
.

Atlas ➡ EXECUTIONERS!? looks like they finally got to you and your friends?
.

Ade ➡ So you’ve heard of them??
.

Atlas ➡ Heard?! I know their very origin… Those psychopaths have spilled centuries of innocent blood as they expanded.. If you’re seriously going to survive against this bloodthirsty wolves then you’ll have to be the same as them.

Ade ➡ You mean??
.

Atlas ➡ Yes.. Fight fire with fire… That’s the only way your kind can survive… After all, peace and survival are best resolved through conflict.

In that moment, Iwonbi’s philosophy popped into my head… I admit the Executioners are evil but I don’t want any blood on my hands.. I can’t stoop down low to their level, as much as I want to fight and end them, I don’t want to end their life. Perhaps there might be some sense in what Iwonbi said.

Ade ➡ No… I can’t have their blood on my hands… I will fight and end the Executioners in some way but not through killing.
.

Atlas ➡ Then you’re a fool! Wiping them out of existence is the only guarantee you have for survival.
.

Before I could give him an answer I heard someone call me from behind, as I turned around to see who it was, I saw it was Eve.

Eve ➡ Hey 👋 Ade…
.

Ade ➡ Eve.. Uh.. Nice to see you.. You look good..
.

Eve ➡ Thanks.. Who were you talking to?
.

Ade ➡ Nobody..
.

Eve ➡ Well, I heard you talking..
.

Ade ➡ Oh.. I was just singing some tunes.. That’s all.

Eve ➡ So… I was wondering if maybe we could hang out sometime.. Besides I’m usually free.

Ade ➡ You mean like a date.

Eve ➡ Sort of..
.

Ade ➡ Okay.. I’m actually quite busy but give me your phone number, so that I can call you..

Eve ➡ Okay sure..
.

Eve and I exchanged contacts and went our separate ways after that, Atlas stood staring at me as I watched Eve go.

Atlas ➡ You like that lady?
.

Ade ➡ I admire her..
.

Atlas ➡ Liar! I like her you just don’t want to admit it.. But sincerely you deserve someone that will be pushing you off the edge and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Ade ➡ Well, that won’t happen cause That person hasn’t been born yet.
.

Atlas ➡ Don’t worry.. You’ll soon meet her.. Besides this Eve girl… You might be surprised to know who she is.. Would you like to know?

Ade ➡Absolutely not… Keep that to yourself.
.

Atlas ➡ Fine.. Besides you’ll find out soon enough… Now if you’ll excuse me… I have something important to do.

Ade ➡ Don’t forget what I asked you to do.

Atlas vanished without giving me an answer, after that, I decided to take a walk around the campus.
As soon as I got the Engineering department… I collided with Felicia, I was surprised to see her cause I know she didn’t enroll into this campus, she must be after something else.

Felicia ➡ Hey Phantom… How far?
.

Ade ➡ My name is Ade..
.

Felicia ➡ I know.. But Phantom is what I’ll be calling you.
.

Ade ➡ What are you doing here?
.

Felicia ➡ Hmm, I came to have some fun.

Ade ➡ Look! If you were sent to spy on us, better leave now or… URHG!

I was surprised when I felt something in,side my mouth, I realized it tasted good, in that moment, Felicia brought out a packet of Oreo 🍪 from her pocket, she smiled sed-ctively as she showed me the biscuit.

Felicia ➡ Relax.. It’s not poison.. Let’s go find some place and sit down.
.

I didn’t say anything I just followed her and we soon found a place and sat down eating the Oreo, This was the first time in my life that a woman made me to what she wanted .. I was terrified when I soon realized what Felicia was capable of… Teleportation,.. She could teleport anything she touched and that is a very amazing and dangerous ability… She could kill anyone without be seen or traced.. I must admit, she’s not a lady that you want to mess with.

Felicia ➡ So tell me.. What’s it like to be a university student.. I’d like to know about the campus life?

Ade ➡ Well, you’re wasting your time cause I didn’t really have the time to enjoy the life of campus..

Felicia ➡ Hmm, you’re boring.. But I like your charm.. You must be the kind that isolates themselves from everyone.. I bet you don’t trust people.

Ade ➡ You’re right.. I don’t but I don’t trust my friends and my other friends..

Felicia ➡ Let me guess.. Your spirits?

Ade ➡ Yeah..

Felicia ➡ So.. Tell me.. What do your spirit friends know about me?

It’s not like I don’t want to but The spirits had already told me about Felicia even before we came and sat down.. Her past wasn’t pretty at all.. She was born in Calabar and raised in a messed up family.. Her father was a drug addict and her mother was a public pr*stitue, in fact her birth was a mistake, it was never meant to happen, growing up without any parental care, she began to fend for her own and drifted away from her parents whom didn’t even bother about her, at age 10 her ability kicked in when she was s*xually assaulted and was about to be raped by one area thug, she unintentionally k*lled the guy by teleporting a big stone into the guy’s brain, The poor b-stard died instantly in that moment and his skull cracked wide open.. Felicia soon got used of her ability and decided to use it for shady business namely smuggling and selling of substances.. She was s₱0tted by the Executioners at age 15 and was moved to Lagos to be executed.. She escaped but not before she k*lled about 20 of the Executioners by teleporting broken glasses into their intestines… And about age 17, she was found by Iwonbi and she became his right hand man or should I say right hand woman.

Felicia ➡ So tell me rich boy? Do you have a girlfriend? Have you had s*x before?

Ade ➡ What’s with all this questions?
.

Felicia ➡ What? That’s what most rich guys do.. Use their wealth to toast and f*ck babes.

Ade ➡ Well, I’m not one of them…

After that we both kept quiet… I wasn’t really comfortable sitting with Felicia but I still don’t know why I couldn’t just leave her.. I couldn’t help myself and steal glances at her. To be honest.. She is hot and attractive, She looks like those bada** babes and her wh0le personality just makes her look so intriguing.
I’m even surprised that she’s as good looking as she is, Most girls that do her kind of work usually look bleachy and flashy.. They would go and change their looks doing facial surgeries and other kinds of body altering changes but in her own case, Felicia looked natural and beautiful, thanks to her fair skin, she looked like those people that are referred to as half caste.
Suddenly as I was staring at her, she quickly looked at my direction and our eyes met, I smartly moved my eyes away and looked at another direction.

Felicia ➡ What’s with the stare? Did you see something you like?

Ade ➡ Enough questions, okay?

Felicia ➡ Well, what are doing this week?
.

Ade ➡ Nothing.. Why do you ask?

Felicia ➡ I want you to take me out on a date.

Ade ➡ You’re joking?
.

Felicia ➡ Am I?.. Unless that is you have something to do.

Ade ➡ As a matter of fact.. I do..

Felicia ➡ Okay.. So.. Are you going to join our group? We really do need guys like you..

Ade ➡ I’m thinking about it..

Felicia ➡ Come on.. What’s there to think about? I personally would love to have you as part of us..

Ade ➡ I’m not really that kind of a interesting guy.. Besides.. I don’t like mingling with others.

Felicia ➡ Well, the Executioners are still around.. You’ll need every help you can get..

Ade ➡ Don’t worry about me.. I’ll be fine. I don’t need help.

Felicia ➡ No.. You do.. Everyone does.. See you later phantom. I’ll be expecting you.. I’ll still available if you’ve changed your mind about that date.

Ade ➡ No, I haven’t..

Felicia ➡ Oh.. You will.

In that moment, Felicia surprised me by giving me a k-ss, my head felt light and my body felt like jelly.. Felicia’s k-ss 💋 was definitely out of this world and I have to say, it felt really good.. After that, she stopped and went her way, She left the Oreo with me and a small phone which contained her number. I wasn’t really sure what just happened but for the first time in my entire life, I felt like I’ve found someone I’m emotionally drawn to..
As I sat down looking at the direction of Felicia, I got interrupted by Eze and othe others.

Eze ➡ Silent killer… So that’s what you’re doing in your free time abi?

Ade ➡ Doing what?
.

Kabir ➡ Don’t pretend… Eze saw the wh0le thing and he told us..

Chioma ➡ Hmm, I never knew you were a player.. Don’t tell me Eze has influenced you as well.

Ade ➡ What!? No..
.

Eze ➡ Man.. You lucky dog.. I was hoping to goats Felicia and now you’ve already made your move..
.

Ade ➡ Look, what ever it is you saw.. It meant nothing.

Chioma ➡ I don’t think so.. Clean the l¡pstick stain on your l-ips..

Eze ➡ Man.. She sure plastered you.. Tell me what was her k-ss like?

Ade ➡ Don’t bother me..

Chioma ➡ Besides.. What’s she doing here?

Ade ➡ She wants us to join their group
.

Chioma ➡ And?
.

Ade ➡ You know my answer already.

Kabir ➡Well, we’ve decided to join..

Ade ➡ Well, good luck..

Chioma ➡ Come on now.. We have to join at least so that we can know how to deal with these enemies of ours.

Ade ➡ Oya.. Come on.. Let’s go home.. We’re done for today.. Lectures is over..

Eze. ➡ Let’s go to your house.. I want to have another taste of that juice of yours.

Chioma ➡ Calm down now.. What’s your problem?

Eze ➡ Ehn.. Chioma, how about we go out this weekend?

.

Kabir ➡ Eze.. Better give up.. Chioma will never go out with you..

Ade ➡ You guys talk too much..

About some minutes later, we arrived at the student parking lot, we all entered my car and drove out of the campus,… While we were on the road, the fuel in my car was running low so we decided to stop at a nearby petroleum station ⛽. Chioma, Eze and I went out of the car, Chioma came out to stretch her legs while Eze went to ease himself, as for me, I opened the fuel tank for the petroleum staff.

P. Staff ➡ How much own?

Ade ➡ Feel the tank.
.

The man did as I said and I waited patiently for the petroleum tank to be full, then in that moment, I noticed something strange.. The man that was putting the petrol into my car had a tattoo of Executioners on the palm of his arm, at first I thought it was just coincidence but then I realized he was looking at me somehow, and that’s when I got suspicious.

Ade ➡ Is something wrong?
.

P. Staff ➡ Not at all..
.

Ade ➡ Then why the stare?
.

P. Staff ➡ Nothing..
.

Then in that moment, Eze came out of nowhere running toward us in full speed, he called out Chioma named and jumped towards her direction, It was in that instant Atlas appeared and warned me of the danger that was going to happen, Suddenly the man turned around trying to stab Chioma with a knife, Luckily for her Eze grabbed the guy’s hand and gave him a swift upper cut under his jaw, the impact sent the man falling down unconsciously into the ground, then out of nowhere, a gunshot was heard and it went right through me but I wasn’t hurt but Eze was injured.. The bullet had hit him on his shoulder, shortly after that multiple gun shots followed , and within seconds the wh0le petroleum station ⛽️ exploded.
