Having to deal with 3 problems has not only brought pressure on everyone in the NOVA agency but it has also made us to forget our most top priority which was protecting the city. With Ade still missing and Prometheus still at large not to mention the sudden return of an old nemesis the Executioners, everyone has been distracted and preoccupied on how to tackle each problem one by one.
Despite the fact that Prometheus and the Executioners are both deadly threats, it still doesn’t mean that everyone should be on board on this, someone has to look after the city especially now that it’s in a state of disorder.
Whilst Ade was still in the hands of Prometheus, a number of news stations had reported cases of a particular drug circulating the streets of Lagos. These drugs in particular were not just rampant like rats in Ajegunle but they were also deadly. A picture of the drug was also broadcasted live for everyone to see but unlike everyone, I already knew about the drug.
*EDEN* is the name of the drug and whoever takes it gets experience the pleasurably feeling like that of a real s£x. The drug stimulates one’s primal urge opening all their s-xual gates. The feeling may be great but with this kind of feeling, using the drug would be addictive and with addiction, anyone who takes more than one dose will surely die.
What surprised me even was how the drug became rampant in the streets, the person that made this drug didn’t want it to be this common, in fact she sold it to special customers keeping the sale of the drug in a secretive and small scale but now that’s not the case. With EDEN running around the streets, underaged children could have access to it and once they do, there’s no way they can stop taking the drug after they’ve felt it’s effect and once that happens, mayhem will definitely occur. As much as I would like to call the attention of Kabir and the others, I had a feeling that they wouldn’t pay attention to this case and what’s more, I didn’t want to distract them from what they were doing so I decided to call the attention of those that could help me out.
Lola was the first person I asked and she didn’t hesitate to assist me on this case. Like me, Lola too had been watching the news and paying attention to what was going on.
The next person I asked was Ifeanyi. He was so willing to join cause he had nothing to do. He also thought that this was an opportunity for him to further test the limits of his ability. As a living bullet proof, Ifeanyi’s ability can be very useful in this case and besides that, the guy is very strong.
The next person that I brought onboard was Richard. The guy doesn’t talk much and he has nothing important to do except fantasize about Beatrice (lioness). With his abilities, Richard could help a lot too in this case.
The last person that joined my case was Sunday (Z-force) . Lola wasn’t comfortable with his presence in our midst especially after what had transpired between them months ago but I was able to convince her not to worry about him.
After assembling those that would help me out to curb this drug crisis, we all met to discuss our next plan. 48hours after the unsuccessful rescue of Ade, Myself and everyone involved in this case gathered in one of the empty rooms in the agency to discuss on how to tackle the EDEN problem. Everyone voiced out their opinion on how to solve the issue.

Lola ➡ This *EDEN* drug needs to be out off the streets. We need to cut it’s circulation by going after the one that made it.

Richard ➡ I agree but we need to find out who’s making it.
.

Sonny ➡ I know the person making the drug. She goes by the name of *Dite*.

Ifeanyi ➡ Dite? What kind of name is that?
.

Sunday ➡ So this Dite, na she dey make this drugs?
.

Sonny ➡ Yes but something tells me that something is not right about this.
.

Lola. ➡ What’s not right?
.

Sonny ➡ Dite doesn’t sell her stuff on a large scale. I have a feeling that someone might have stolen her business from her.
.

Lola ➡ It doesn’t matter. She’s a drug dealer and she must face the consequences. None of this would have happened if she hadn’t make this drug.

Richard ➡ What are we going to do now?
.

Lola ➡ Easy, first we find Dite and then find the pigs distributing this drug. Once we do that, we arrested them.
.

Ifeanyi ➡ Oya nah, make we bounce.
.

Sonny ➡ Guy chill, before we bounce we must first change our looks. We need to put on some casual clothes to blend in. Let’s all go change in Ade’s house first before going to our mission.

Lola ➡ We’ll also need a car. Let’s hope that the rich boy can borrow us one of his cool rides.

Meanwhile here in Ade’s luxurious home, Felicia plants herself underneath a hot shower trying to get her mind off her worries but even with the relaxing shower, it wasn’t enough to make her forget about her worries.
After spending about 15mins under the shower, Felicia exits the toilet and heads to her own quarters. After arriving into her bedroom, Felicia dries up her voluptuous body and then wears her normal casual clothes before sitting on her bed. Still disturbed by her past guilt and the possibilities of Ade finding out about it, Felicia clenches her fists and then bangs it on the wooden edge of the bed for a while until she eventually bruises herself. After that, Felicia exits her room and heads straight to the living room where she encounters the shock of her life.

Presently sitting on the couch in his living room is a troubled Ade looking distraught yet calm. After going through a lot and then finding out about the mystery behind his parent’s death, Ade wasn’t thinking straight and is one the verge of losing his mind. Despite being distracted by his troubled thoughts, Ade immediately hears Felicia’s entrance and does not hesitate to glare at her furiously. Felicia who had also seen the look on Ade’s face knew that the cat had been let out of the bag. After a long moment of awkward stare and quietness, Ade finally breaks the silence.

Ade ➡ So tell me Felicia, what am I to you? Do you even love me or were you just using me? 10yrs ago, you left making me wonder when was it you were ever going to return. It was foolish to be longing for one mere woman when there are so many better ones out there. Despite being with Susan, I secretly hoped that you might return which you eventually did but what I couldn’t understand is why did you leave in the first place and why return a decade later to the point I was giving hopes of your return. I played this over and over in my mind but I couldn’t get any answer. Since you made me promise never to read your mind, I couldn’t know what you were hiding until now. So tell me Felicia, was it worth it?

Ending his statement with a low pitch of anger in it, Ade’s body slowly starts to faze as he focuses his gaze on Felicia. Despite being shocked, Felicia remains calm and faces Ade squarely with a little bit of defiance in her eyes. Deep down she was truly sorry that things turned out like this but her pride and ego was too strong to make her show any signs of emotion. After Ade’s statement, Felicia exhales and then tries to express herself.

Felicia ➡ Ade darling.. I never..
.

Before Felicia could finish her statement, Ade instantly appears in front of her and gives her a thunderous slap on her left cheek, the slap stung Felicia so hard that Ade’s hand was imprinted on her fair skin. Surprised by Ade’s sudden action, Felicia stares at him in shock as she holds her left cheek. She was so angry and was at the point of retaliation but she maintained her cool and kept a straight face. The sound of the slap which was also loud attracted the attention of those that were inside especially those like Eve, Samson, Chioma and Rollins. Immediately they heard the slap, they converged to see what was going on and upon arriving in the living room, they were all shocked.

Chioma ➡ Guys, what’s going on?
.

Eve ➡ Isn’t it obvious? The 2 love birds are fighting. I wonder what’s the cause?
.

Rollins ➡ Felicia, na wetin dey happen?
.

Ignoring their friend’s questions, both Felicia and Ade maintained their eye contact without moving an inch, they were each too tensed to say anything to anyone. Ade who was hoping to make Felicia apologize or grovel on her knees for forgiveness was surprised and very angry to see that she was doing none of that, what angered him even more was the calm face she was putting on in front of him, he thought that the slap he gave her would make her flip. In that moment, Isabelle and Iwonbi make their way into the house with Jennifer only to see the commotion that was going on. Seeing that they had arrived too late to warn Felicia, they decided now to calm things down before the 2 before things get out of hand.

Isabelle ➡ Ade.. Please calm down.
.

Ade ➡ Calm down!? Really? I should have known you were nothing but a conniving b-tch.
.

Iwonbi ➡ Ade, watch your mouth.
.

Ade ➡ Or what?

Rollins ➡ Can somebody please tell us what is going on?
.

Jennifer ➡ Felicia killed Ade’s parents.
.

Eve ➡ WHAT?
.

Isabelle ➡ Jennifer!? This isn’t what we discussed.
.

Jennifer ➡ What’s the point of hiding it now. Everyone deserves to know.
.

Chioma ➡ That’s crazy. Ade’s parent’s died in a car accident.
.

Eve ➡ Let me guess, she was responsible for the accident. Unbelievable.
.

Chioma ➡ FELICIA…. How could you do such a horrible thing to such nice people?
.

Jennifer ➡ (chuckles) Nice? Give me a break. Ade’s parents were Executioners.
.

Upon hearing Jennifer’s revelation, everyone in the room becomes quietly, those that were just hearing about this tried to process what they heard in their minds.

Eve ➡ What a load of crap!!! Is this some kind of joke? Everyone knows what the Executioners does to our kind. Even you Isabelle know what my father did to my sister. There’s no way Ade’s parents were Executioners cause even if they were, he still wouldn’t be alive today.
.

Isabelle ➡ Eve, it’s true. Unlike your father, Ade’s parents had a soft spot of Ade.
.

Eve ➡ This can’t be true. It can’t be. This isn’t fair.
.

Chioma ➡ Fair? Just because your father killed your sister doesn’t mean Ade’s parents can do the same. Nobody is the same.
.

Ade ➡ That’s right. If my parents could risk it all to love me perhaps they would have changed into better people but no.. This b-tch here took them away from me.
.

Jennifer ➡ Better watch your mouth Ade. Your parents deserved what they got. Felicia was even too merciful to let them die the way they did. Even if your parents did change, there’s nothing that they’ll do that will wipe out their sins. Your parents were monsters, heartless b-stards that deserve to be burned in the deepest pits of hell.

Ade ➡ SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

Unable to control himself any longer, Ade charges towards Jennifer blinded by rage and fury. Others who had feared for Jennifer’s safety tried to intervene but Ade made their efforts useless as he zipped through them like thin air. Before Ade could strike Jennifer, she gives him the element of surprise by stoning him with a small strange rock which leads to an unexpected outcome.
Thinking that the rock was a plain one, Ade tries to go through it but as soon as the rock touches his skin, Ade yells painfully and then collapses to the ground groaning painfully.

Chioma ➡ Ade.. Ade.. What did you do to him?
.

Jennifer ➡ I showed him a fraction of what will happen if he tries to exact his revenge on Felicia.
.

Rollins ➡ This doesn’t make any sense? How could Add be hurt by a mere stone?
.

Jennifer ➡ This rock isn’t an ordinary one. It’s been heavily doused in demonic juju, the kind of juju that kills the likes of Ade.
.

Isabelle ➡ Jennifer stop. You’re making things worse.
.

Jennifer ➡ I don’t care. If he can’t see the kind of people his parents were and why Felicia did what she had to do, then I’ll force him to see it.
.

Chioma ➡ I can’t believe you. So you expect him to get along with that fact that his parents were murdered by the one he loves. Executioners or not, this is sick.
.

Rollins ➡ I agree o. Besides why didn’t Felicia tell him? If she knew all along then why didn’t she tell him the truth.
.

Eve ➡ Better yet, what kind of a sick individual would fall in love with the son of victims she killed. I always knew that Felicia was up to no good but this is just beyond me. She made Ade fall in love with her despite knowing the fact she killed his parents.

Samson ➡ Felicia.. Is this true?
.

Felicia ➡ Of course not. I didn’t know but by the time I did, it was already too late. That is why I left Ade 10yrs ago to avoid all of this. I didn’t want him to think that I used or betrayed him but does it even matter now? For what it worth, I’m truly sorry Ade and deep down, I still love you even if you hate me now but I still do not regret my actions. I know you want me to beg for forgiveness but I won’t. Your parents did something unforgivable and they had to pay.

Chioma ➡ You’re such a conceited individual Felicia.
.

Felicia ➡ I don’t care. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I don’t care what anyone thinks anymore.
.

Isabelle ➡ Felicia enough. Please we need to talk.
.

Ade ➡ There’s… Urgh… nothing to talk about… Nngh. I’ve been lied to and deceived for too long and now I can’t take it anymore. I will look the other way and forgive Felicia but I never want to see her face ever again including those associating with her. The last thing I need is a bunch of lying and deceiving people to rely on. I don’t need that in my life.

Chioma ➡ But Ade…. your son.
.

Ade ➡ He can go see his mother, I can not be with someone that lies or keeps secrets from me all the time. Enough is enough.

Iwonbi ➡ Ade, please you’re not thinking straight.

Ade ➡ SHUT UP! I don’t want to hear anything from you or ever see you again. There’s nothing that you can say that will change my mind.

Isabelle ➡ Ade please..

Ade ➡ Just leave. You’ve already done more than enough.
.

Jennifer ➡ Come on Felicia, let’s go.
.

Seeing how serious Ade was about his statement, Felicia sadly exits the house together with Isabelle and Iwonbi. Others who were present at that moment watched and said nothing even though they fully knew that this would cause a division between them. After Felicia’s exit, Rollins confronts Ade about his decision.

Rollins ➡ Ade.. I know you’re hurting but are you sure this is wise? Don’t forget that we’re in a mess right now and we need all hands on deck.
.

Ade ➡ If you want to team up with Felicia so badly, I suggest you leave. Besides I don’t see why you’re here, after all you and her go way back.
.

Rollins ➡ Ogbeni! I don’t care about your squabbles with Felicia. All I know is that I’m a Nova agent and I’m concerned about my duties. We’re in a mess right now and the last thing we need is for you to be getting sentimental over your personal issues with Felicia and if that’s going to affect my responsibilities as a Nova agent then I quit.

Chioma ➡ Rollins!
.

Samson ➡ Guy, e no reach like that now.
.

Eve ➡ (laughs) I can’t believe this. Don’t your job as a cover-up your anger. Admit that you’re mad about Felicia getting kicked out.
.

Rollins ➡ Oh, I’m angry. I’m angry that we’ve lost our only lead against Prometheus. Felicia may be a crook but she knows something about Prometheus that we don’t. The least Ade could do was chill until everything is over.
.

Chioma ➡ Ade, say something.
.

Ade ➡ There’s nothing to say. Like I said before, I don’t want to see the faces of Felicia or anyone that associates with her. If Rollins wants to quit, he’s free to do so. Nobody is restraining him.
.

Chioma ➡ Ade, stop this talk. Rollins, please let’s talk this through. We can’t be having a fallout while our enemies are out there.
.

Rollins ➡ Don’t worry Chioma, I’ll do whatever it takes to hunt down Prometheus and the Executioners but until Ade comes to his senses, I quit.
.

Shortly after his statement, Rollins walks out of the house with Samson in pursuit trying to make him change his mind. Meanwhile, Ade who cared less about what had happened went upstairs to his room but he was soon intercepted by Chioma halfway on the stairs.

Ade ➡ Out of my way Chioma.
.

Chioma ➡ I rebuke you for your thoughtlessness but I won’t considering that fact that you’re not thinking straight. Rollins was right about one thing, you’re being blinded by emotions so as fellow cofounder of the Nova agency, you’re hereby suspended until you start to think reasonably.
.

Ade ➡ I don’t care. Just get out of my way.
.
