Natasha’s Pov:

I walked straight into Patrick’s room and saw him lying on his bed with a duvet covering him.

“Patrick?” I started as he turned his gaze away.

“Please get out” He said with sarcasm in the tone of his voice.

“You know you shouldn’t have done that to the maid” I said as he scoffed.

“Mom I said you should leave me alone already” He shouted as I flinched.

“Patrick this isn’t the best thing to do” I tried to touch him.

“Just stay the fvck away from me will you? I don’t want to talk to you neither do I want to talk to your husband” He replied in annoyance.

“Son you shouldn’t speak of your dad and I like that” I said as he rolled his eyes.

“Then go tell your husband that am his only son” He freaked out.

“He knows you are Patrick… No one is taking that fact away from you” I calmly replied.

“Then why isn’t he treating me like one mom? Why doesn’t he treat me like his son when I am?” Patrick cried out.

“Come here” I said as he rushed to me and I hugged him tightly patting his hair.

“I love you Mom” He mumbled as I kissed his forehead.

Arthur’s Pov:

I ran my hand into my hair as I breathed heavily in so much anger.

“You shouldn’t let the little boy get to you that much” Nicole my friend said.

“You don’t understand what am going through Nicole…. You don’t get it that’s why you keep talking in that manner” I gulped down the remant of the glass of dry gin.

“I understand you man! I know how stubborn that son of yours can be but I just want you to calm down” He said.

“That boy brings nothing but trouble to my household all the time like am fvcking tired of him” I groaned.

“You have no choice here… He is your God damned son” He replied as I gritted my teeth.

“I wish I never had that boy…. He is a mistake and so shall he remain” I said.

“You should calm down man and……” He was saying before my cell phone rang aloud.

“Excuse me” I said as I picked up my cell phone.

“Hello… Who is this?” I asked with the phone on my ear.

“Please am I speaking to Mr Arthur Rodriguez?” The manly voice asked.

“Yes?? Who is this?” I anxiously asked with so much interest.

“This is the principal of Kingston high school” The man started.

“Yess???” I widened my eyes

“Actually Sir your presence is needed in school by tomorrow morning cos day before yesterday your son Patrick got into a fight with his fellow student but he injured the boy so badly with stabs from bottle” The teacher explained as i gasped.

“Bottle stab???” I yelped.

“Yes Sir and as we speak the student in question is unconscious since yesterday and in critical condition but your son didn’t come to school yesterday” He explained.

“Oh….oh….oh ok” I managed to say as I burnt up in fury.

I hung up as I yelled in anger as I kicked the table in tantrum.

“What happened man?” Nicole asked anxiously.

“He is definitely going to be expelled from school after this… He stabbed his fellow student” I yelled as Nicole gasped in shock.

Arya’s Pov:

I sat on the plane with the belt around my chest.

Tears circulated in my eyes and poured down slowly.

Why does mom and I need to leave?

I couldn’t even bid my best friend goodbye….

This is so unfair…

All of a sudden we are moving to Capetown??

Really?

Is that how it should be….

I kept on wondering within myself and I felt a warm soft palm on my forehead.

It was my mommy.

I raised my eyebrows to look at her and later bowed my head.

“I know you are not happy baby but I just want you to be strong for mommy” Mommy kissed me.

“But why mom?” I cried out.

“You won’t understand baby but I do everything I do just for your sake” Mom said as she cleaned my eyes with a napkin and I hugged her tightly.

Off we go to Capetown….

Arthur’s Pov:

I paced around impatiently as Patrick and Natasha walked downstairs.

I was trying so much to hold back my anger so I wouldn’t do something worst to him.

“What happened baby?” Natasha said.

“Ask your son Natasha…. Ask your son what he did to his fellow student” I shouted.

Patrick bowed his head.

Natasha turned to Patrick who gulped nervously.

“Baby what happened?” Natasha asked him but he kept mute.

“He stabbed his fellow student’ I shouted at him.

“What?” Natasha gasped……

Natasha’s Pov:

“What?” I freaked out as I quickly turned to Patrick whose head was bowed in guilt.

“Yes…. Your son! Our son stabbed someone not just someone but his fellow student with a broken bottle” Arthur screamed.

“Gosh! Patrick is this true?” I asked with my blazing eyes.

“I didn’t mean to mom but he was so daring so I had to put an end to his stupidity by teaching him a lesson” Patrick mumbled.

But then Arthur landed a resounding slap on his cheek and he staggered.

“Shut up you stupid and useless boy” Arthur couldn’t hold back his annoyance.

“Arthur? Arthur please….” I tried to stop him.

“What do you mean by Arthur please? Huh? What do you expect me to do to this hopeless son of yours? Kiss him for stabbing a student?” Arthur glared hard at me.

“I know but….” I tried to defend him.

“Dad I was defending myself from that boy” Patrick cried out.

“Keep quiet! So because you want to defend yourself,,,, you have to stab someone huh?” Arthur scoffed.

“I couldn’t…I couldn’t bear it” Patrick replied.

“Wow! So you expect me to hug you tight and congratulate you for almost committing murder huh Patrick? Well you better pray…pray hard that he survives it… Pray for that boy to survive this ordeal else get ready to be jailed” Arthur shouted before leaving.

We watched Arthur storm out of the room still yelling.

I turned to Patrick who rolled his eyes.

“Why would you do something like that?” I sneered.

“Mom please don’t start…. I’ve already had enough of the yelling” He sighed as he walked away.

Why will this boy keeping landing us into trouble?

Aliyah’s Pov;

We landed safely at Capetown…..

We dragged out luggage as we left the airport.

Honestly the city is quite beautiful.

I could see smiles all over my baby’s face and that brought smiles to my face too.

“Mommy you know what I think?” She asked as I shook my head.

“Capetown is really cool” She chuckled.

I couldn’t help but giggle.

“I told you my baby girl that you are gonna love it here” I said as we shared a laugh.

“I really can’t wait to see the new apartment we will be living in” Arya said.

“You are so gonna love it” I assured her.

“I hope so mommy… But what about school for me?” She asked anxiously.

“I will start by tomorrow to find a good school for you” I promised as we flagged down the cab and hopped in.

Let’s see what Capetown holds for us….

I hope we will he so happy after this change of environment.

Arthur’s Pov:

We walked out of the school compound with shame.

“Did you hear that son? Did you hear what the principal said?” I said as Patrick kept mute.

“Can you imagine the kind of humiliation you made me go through today?” Natasha glared at him.

“To think that I had to go down on my knees to beg that boy’s parents” I gritted my teeth.

“I have never been so humiliated” Natasha lamented.

“You know you would have ended up in jail if we didn’t beg that boy’s parents” I said as we got into the car.

“You have been expelled from school and I hope you are happy now” Natasha said as I zoomed off.

Which other school will let to take in a student that stabbed his fellow student?

I walked into the sitting room and sat down with the remote control as Natasha rushed in with a newspaper in her hand.

“Baby? Baby??” She called as she rushed in.

“What is it? What happened?” I quickly sprang up.

“Here” she handed the newspaper to me.

I sluggishly took it and flipped through the pages as I read.

My eyes widened in shock.

The news is all over the place that my son almost committed a murder.

I couldn’t speak a word since I was so shocked.

“What do we do?” Natasha cried.

“We are moving out… Let’s move to Capetown” I concluded…..
