-Episode 25
Eva and Cyril stepped out of the examination hall smiling,
She brought her phone from her handbag and dialed Smile’s phone number and placed a call to him.
his phone rang and no response,
she tried it again,
again, again.
she sighed and walked towards her car parked under a tree at the permanent lecture halls environment.
She entered in,side her car and Cyril sat beside her,
“You call your friend?” she asked Cyril and he nodded affirmatively.
her eyes narrowed in expectation “em no pick” he replied.
Worries graced her face,
she became restless as she geared the car into moving out of the campus,
she was about moving out of the school’s second gate when she saw that the school sheriffs stationed there,
are hiding in,side their duty post rooms,
she slowed the car and killed the engine.
She walked to one of the duty post rooms that are opposite each other,
she knocked and heard muffling sounds from in,side.
She knocked again and heard faint foot-falls coming towards the door from in,side,
The door was opened by an old man who exhaled in relief when he saw Eva.
“Wetin happen for here?” Eva asked him smiling sweetly,
the man’s eyes still held fear and his l-ips trembled to speak.
“Na Igbudu kidnap one boy like that” he replied Eva,
her eyes w¡den and looked towards the direction the man pointed to,
a place were carbs park outside the school campus fence.
She walked towards that direction,
Cyril came down from the car and followed her.
When she got to were Igbudu kidnapped Smile,
she looked around the place and saw the lines the tyre created.
She picked Smile’s phone on the ground,
Cyril came out and joined her.
both of them stared at the phone like it was a ghost “na Smile be this” Cyril told her.
Eva tapped the screen and her picture displayed as the screensaver.
“Go check am for house” Eva said,
Cyril ran towards the main road and waved taxi.
A taxi stopped and he entered then drove out,
Smile became confuse as she thought of next action she will take.
She dialed a number of the commissioner of police,
he picked.
“Good evening, sir” he said into the receiver.
“Hadija, how are you?” the baritone tone replied from the phone’s speaker.
“Not fine, sir” she told him.
“Why?” He asked.
she walks into the campus explaining who Smile is to him,
and how Igbudu kidnapped him.
She entered in,side her car “don’t worry Hadija, I’ll send my men to search for him immediately” the commissioner replied,
she ended call without satisfactory grin appearing at the corner of her l-ips,
she dialed another number “Li, send messages to all the units,
White Angels should search for Igbudu and produce Smile, immediately” she said into the receiver and ended the call,
she sped out of the campus.

Cyril arrived at the lodge he shared with Smile,
and saw Smile’s father standing at the front of the major entrance protector looking angry.
“Good evening, sir” he greeted the angry looking tall man,
tall black and chubby.
Even at the age he is, he still look handsome with his curled hairs,
he looks like half-caste.
“For God sake, where is my son?” He demanded sharply,
“He has been kidnapped” Cyril replied looking sad and almost close to tears.
“Jesus Christ!” He retorted,
he became confuse on what to do,
Cyril sat on the pavement of the apartment.
He clenched his fist and walked to his car without saying any word to Cyril.

In car,
Eva and Li with Tasha were the ones in,side it.
she drove crazily and parked at a house gate,
she came down with Li and Tasha who trailed behind.
She knocked the gateway open with a kick and entered,
the sun was gradually leaving the azure sky completely.
She looked around and met no one in the compound of the house,
she went in,side with Li and Tasha.
After searching the house for some time,
they came out looking disappointed and sad.
“We have searched everywhere,
Smile where are you?” she said loudly with broken voice.
Li and Tasha were concerned about her,
a call came into her phone and she quickly picked the call.
“Is it the commissioner of police?” Li asked and Eva simply nodded.
“My boys can’t find Igbudu in the state,
call other states commissioners” the voice spoke from the phone’s speaker.
“Thank you, sir” Eva replied.
She waved Li and Tasha,
and they left the compound together.

in,side a church,
Smile’s father knelt before the alter,
tears rolling down his eyes.
“Help my son, father!” He cried out,
the church was empty ’cause no other person is there with him,
the benches were empty and bulbs illuminated the vast beautiful hall.
Outside the compound is very dark,
as the bulbs placed outside the compound tried to illuminate the vast compound.
“You said those who wait on you,
Shall not be put to shame” his voice could be heard outside.

A car drove slowly on the bridge and parked,
Igbudu came down from the car with two of his men,
Two huge bouncers emerge from the car.
“Bring the sacrifice” he told the two of them and released smokes in the air,
Two of his men walked to the car’s booth and brought a person,
who was tied from behind and his legs tied together with ropes,
Sellotape sealed his l-ips.
“Throw am overboard” he told his two men,
and two of them carried Smile up from the ground,
he struggled with them but they are stronger.
A car headlights coming from opposite direction flashed out them,
The men threw him out of the bridge and he landed in the river passing under the bridge.
The car coming from the opposite direction slowed down and stopped,
Igbudu stopped smoking and watch the car closely.
All of a sudden gun shot was heard from that direction.

Episode 26
Igbudu removed the cigarette from his l-ips and watched the car suspiciously as it slow down,
it shiny headlights prevented him from seeing further.
he quickly brought out his gun from were he had tucked it,
A gunshot was heard and bullets flee sporadically towards the direction of Igbudu and his guys.
“Aaaahhh!” One of his men hit by the bullet fell down bleeding,
the other was shot before he could take cover behind the car.
“Taaarrrhh, the sweetness of madness is best known to a madman” he shouted and hit his chest as bullets fell down from his body without harming him.
He shot at the car but he could barely see anything,
the bullets from the other direction is increasing in it numbers.
the necklace he wore around his neck is emanating red lights,
he quickly ran into the shattered car by bullets and geared it into moving,
his assailants chased after him.
The car was almost close to his as they rain bullets at his car,
he quickly swerve his car to different direction and the other car ran into his,
the loud slamming of the car made the car occupied by Igbudu to spin round,
hitting the bricks that is attached to the bridge.
The other car occupied by his assailant bonnet pulled out,
everywhere remained quiet for sometime.
The door to the car occupied by Igbudu opened and he crawled out of it.
bleeding from the cuts on his body,
he laid on the ground gasping for life.
In no time a car moved to this direction,
he smiled wryly as he noticed the car belong to his men.
that he had asked to stay close to the bridge and come at once when there is any gun battle.
He rose his hand weakly as he gr–ned in pains,
The car slow down and two guys came down from the car.
And carried him in,side and they drove off,
the backdoor of the car occupied by the assailants that attacked Igbudu opened,
and a man crawled down from the car.
and rolled on the ground, two others came down from the back seat.
Three of them remained on the ground.

Earlier,
Under the bridge is a river,
a man with a boat and two others on it saw something falling down from the high bridge.
they were setting net for fishes with torchlight tied to their foreheads,
immediately they saw it.
“Wetin be that?” one of them asked his fellow.
“that thing na human being” one of them replied.
Immediately two of them dived into the river and swam towards the fallen body.
They went under the water and swam out with Smile,
He was subconscious when he was brought out of the water.
They swam towards the boat and put him on the boat,
a loud gunshots was heard on the bridge.
as fear grieved those fishermen,
as they quickly paddle the boat out of the river.

5am.
Eva came out of her house,
with Li and Tasha coming out too from behind.
“Eva, are you sure, you wanna see his corpse?” Li asked yawning.
“Li!” Tasha shouted at Eva.
Li shrugged, “he isn’t dead, he can’t die” Eva replied with a low voice.
She walked to the car and entered,
Li and Tasha followed from behind.
Eva started the car and one white Angel girl ran to the gate and opened the gate,
Eva drove the car out of the compound,
and the white Angel who opened the gate earlier closed it.

In an office,
Eva sat on a chair opposite a man and Li, with Tasha stood behind her.
“after our divers have searched through the water,
We can’t find his body” he told them.
Eva became confuse “what do you mean, sir?” she asked him.
“The thing is, probably he isn’t in the river or something has devoured him in the water” the man maintained his stance.
“Can you guys still search?” Eva asked,
she can’t accept not seeing his body.
“I am sorry, we can’t do anything further” the man replied and shrugged.
Eva wanted to speak but Li tapped her shoulder,
she looked at her with teary eyes.
“Thank you, sir” Tasha thanked the old man,
and three of them left the room.

Eva,
Tasha and Li sat on a couch viewing the flat screen television on the wall.
“Look” Tasha pointed at the screen.
Eva raised her head and saw the picture of Smile,
a smile graced her face and her heart was warmth by it, an euphoria feeling.
A puzzled look appear on her face,
she wonder what his picture is doing on the screen.
The picture slide,
and on the screen is a crop picture of Smile and his father appeared on the screen.
Li quickly grabbed the remote and raised the volume of the television.
“Please, if you are with my son.
Bring him back to me,
He is my only son and i don’t want to loose him, he is all I have in the world.
whoever find him will be given a huge sum of money” his voice sounded from the television speaker.
“This man fine die,
I no go mind give am four rounds freely oh” Li said and Tasha glared at her,
she shrugged and mused.
Eva stood up and Li, Tasha looked up at her.
“Is time, I’ll be going on a journey of death” she told two of them who looked at her in confusion.
“Where are you going?” Li asked her, but she ignored and picked the car key then drove out of the compound.

In a room that looks like chamber,
a woman tied white wrapper sat on the floor,
the whole room could be mistaken for white House,
The materials on the wall and on the floor are all white,
the woman who sat before a big clay pot emanating thick smoke,
writings of white chalk on her body.
Before her is Eva who knelt facing the woman,
“Mother, I seek revenge” she told the woman,
who made a grumbling sounds.
She raised one hand, and Eva brought out a picture of Igbudu and put it in,side the pot of smoke,
“The path of revenge seek blood and pains, with ultimate sacrifice, are you ready my daughter?” She replied Eva who nodded.
“The one you seek to destroy is very strong” she told her and breathe out fire from her mouth.
