Audrey was still sleeping when she felt someone tapping on her shoulders
“mmmmm” she mumbled slowly not wanting to wake up
“Audrey!!” She was tapped lightly again
“young lady…. Wake up” She heard the faint voice again
She opened her eyes slowly and blinked severally….. She rubbed her eyes with her palm
“mum” she mumbled having a clearer view
“mum” She called again sitting up
“It’s just 6pm ……..don’t tell me you have been sleeping since morning ” Tanisha asked as Audrey yawned softly
“it’s evening already?? ” She asked looking around
“Yes sleeping head…….. Don’t tell me you slept off that’s why you didn’t go to work? ” Tanisha asked. Audrey didn’t reply instead she wondered how long she had been sleeping
“Your silent means it’s a yes!….. Oh Audrey!! ….i guessed you might be tired……. And your father…….. Have you checked on him….. Have you given him, his medication?? “Tanaish asked and Audrey gasped
“Father!! ” She called suddenly and took off making Tanisha furrowed her eyebrows
Audrey ran to her father’s room and met the bed…… She gasped as realization hit her
“he left to go and see Giselle in the palace the previous night ….. Isn’t he back?? ” she said loudly, unknowingly though
“palace….. night….. Giselle. I’m confused, what are you taking about…. ” Her mum said behind her but she couldn’t reply
“Answer me Audrey…….where is your father! ” Her mother asked again
“He left at night wanting to see Giselle” She said and Tanisha eyes w¡dened open
“I know you’re surprised right…… Even I was surprised on how he was able to work ” She replied and Tanisha rolled her eyes
“why will you allow him go see that ugly thing…… He’s such a waste,,,,, I wondered what might be going on now….. It’s a day already and he isn’t back…. Gosh I’m worried “Tanisha lamented
“You know I can’t stop father from doing what he wants…… And besides you have always wanted him dead…..And mom, from the way you dressed it seems you’re just coming back from where you went
yesterday night…….. Am curious mother…. Since this pass nights you have been going out, where exactly are you going?? ” She asked
“Shut up Audrey and let’s go look for your father! “She muttered and hurried out of the room
“I know she’s just trying to avoid my question ” Audrey said before walking out other father’s room too

Audrey and her mom entered the palace just when everywhere was gloomy
“It looks like the king org-nized a party….. But why aren’t I aware…..i love parties!!” She scre-med when it’s obvious she wouldn’t be heard due to the sound of the music
“stop with the drama….. We’re here just to look for your father”Her mother replied
Audrey scoffed as they made their way amidst the crowd
Audrey breathed out immediately they got to the front
“O. M. G!! “Audrey scre-med and covered her mouth with her hand
“isn’t that Giselle” She said pointing at the lady on white gown as the prince removed the veil from her face
“unbelievable!! ” Tanisha exclaimed and surprisingly they aren’t the only ones surprised
“No!!!! ” A girl scre-med behind Audrey making her turned to see who just scre-med
She scoffed seeing her messy hair and tarred clothes
“wedding continues…….. This is f-cking important “She heard the prince muttered and she quickly turned her gaze to the prince and Giselle
“It’s truly Giselle… It’s her”She smile unknowingly as Prince Norman slapped his lip on Giselle
“That ugly got married….. This is so unbelievable to be real!”Tanisha mumbled
“My Elders,,,, the coronation can now begin”Prince Norman uttered after breaking from the k-ss
“what coronation…… Is him the new heir to the throne????…… Does that mean Giselle is now a queen?? ” She thought
“You lie!! ” She heard a loud scre-m from the Crowd
The crowd splitted themselves into two as Prince Darrel walked out of the crowd
He hair was so messy and he was reeking from alcohol
“That weakling” Audrey thought as she watched him bring out a cigarette from his mouth and light it before putting it in between his lip
“Do you think you can be made king when I’m still alive??” he said and burst into an uncontrollable laughter
“This is gonna be interesting!” Audrey thought folding her arms on her chest
“of course not brother” Prince Darrel replied and blew out the smoke that was coming out of his mouth
“I have worked hærd for the throne,,,, I even became a daddy’s boy but this old king decided to stabbed me behind,,,, do you think Norman will rule this kingdom when I’m still alive?? ” He asked and Shook his head
“since I can’t become king when Norman is still alive then I got no choice than to end everything ” He said and quickly brought a gun out of his p-nt pocket making everyone gasped
Audrey gasped and felt her soul leaving her body
“Noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Giselle scre-med and stood in front of Prince Norman as he pulled the trigger and a loud shot was heard
“Giselle!! “Audrey scre-med in shock
“I’m fine!! ” Giselle replied feeling no pains but instead she felt a heavy weight on her
“Father! ” Audrey called seeing her father laying in the pool of his own blood
“it’s father….. Father took the shot for Giselle”Audrey muttered as tears rolled down her cheek
“what have I done” Prince Darrel muttered. He threw the gun away and held his hair as he gro-ned
Tanisha stood still not knowing what to do.
“father!!! “Giselle scre-med holding his body to herself
“G…. iselle”Her father stuttered touching her cheeks with his bloody hand
“shhhhhhhh….. Don’t speak.. You’re gonna be fine” she said trying to hold back her tears
“someone….. Pls…..call the ambulance!!!” She scre-med in tears and pains!!
“my…. my child… “Elder Kay muttered still touching her
The ambulance arrived almost immediately and Elder Kay was placed in a stretcher
“Dad…..! “Giselle cried as prince Norman crouched down to her……
“He’s gonna be fine…… Your dad will survive “He said hugging her tightly

She smiled cutely before placing the tray on her lap
Prince Kristen pinched her nose fondly. She blushed and shuddered in sweetness
“I wouldn’t hurt you now princess…… I’m not that dumb. I’m gonna make you fall madly in love with me that you’re gonna wish for death after my revenge on you. I want to see the pains of being hurt by the one you trust and love. I really wanna see that pains”Prince Kristen thought as he watched the princess feast on her food.
“It’s late already cutie,,,,, promise to take you home first thing tomorrow morning……cant believe our dinner ended up as a two days dinner” He said and they both chuckled

Giselle kept pacing around the hallway as the doctor attend to her father…
“father….. Pls stay. I’m gonna loose my mind if anything happens to you” she said as the tears gestured out of her eyes

” he’s my dad, isn’t everything I got…. how am I supposed to live……he f-cking not leave me alone in this mess I called my life!” she yelled and Prince Norman pulled her into a hug
” my strong father, I don’t want to lose you, I can’t lose you….”she cried more , wetting Prince Norman shoulders
“…. please don’t die, don’t leave me……i agree to work in the palace just for you to leave….. Don’t you dare die” she sobbed slowly
She looks so pathetic and pitiable .
Giselle kept sobbing and just then Tanaish
“you ugly thing!! ” She yelled and pulled Giselle away from prince Norman
“You finally kill him….. You’re so full of bad luck…….The very first day I sent my eyes on you I know you will bring us nothing but pains…… I hated my husband for bringing you into our life and now you have succeeded in killing him…. I hate you!!! “She scre-med still pulling her by the hair
“mother stop!!! We’re in the hospital! “Audrey yelled
“Shut up!! ” She said and continue pulling her by the hair
“He was my everything…. The reason I live but my husband took him away and brought you….. I so much hate you for taking him away from me….. I will never forgive you and my husband until I sees him…. I will be your night mare!” She yelled
“You’re hurting me mother!! ” She cried out in pains
Prince Norman finally pulled her away from Giselle and hugged her
“you’re evily…… Why accusing her for what she knows nothing about ” Prince Norman asked and Tanisha rolled her eyes
If only he wasn’t a prince…. She would have taught him a lesson

“It’s gonna be fine my love…… I will protect you with all I got “Prince Norman said stroking her hair and almost immediately the doctor came out

“The patient request to see you….. I mean only you” The doctor said
“follow me! ” He added and Giselle wasted no time before following him
The doctor opened the door widely and Giselle rushed in
“father” She said and covered her pace to the bay which he laid
“father!! ” She called as more tears falls off her eyes
“G….. iselle!! ” Elder Kay called and coughed
“Easy… “Giselle mumbled inbetween her cries
