♦Audrey POV♦
“I love you more, Audrey” He lifted my fingers to his mouth, and pressed his l-ips to it lightly. He stood up and leaned over to pecked my forehead- brushing my hair back.
We both smiled at each other as he sat down on the stool.
“How long did I slept?” I questioned, curiously.
“She’s really awake!” Mom’s voice interrupted me. She barged into the ward and others followed her, grinning.
“Oh my dear Audrey” She sat close to me on the bed, examining my eyes and everywhere.
“Are you okay?”
“Do you want me to get the doctor?”
I shook my head.
“I’m okay, mom”
“You scared the living soul in every one of us” Kwan pouts and I smiled.
“You really owe Jordan, he was the one who had brought you out of the pool” Ryan narrated, smiling really hærd.
I carefully sat upright, with the help of Aaron and mom.
“Thanks Jordan, I really owe you” I said gratefully.
“It’s nothing Audrey, you shouldn’t mind this silly girl” He says as he tweaked Ryan’s ear playfully.
“Ouch, will you stop that?” Ryan groused as she yanked his hand away.
Aaron and I shared a short glance and smiled.
“I’m very happy you’re awake my dear” Mom says again, tears gathering in her eyes.
“It’s okay, mom” I told her, pressing my palm to her cheek.
Hazel and Kwa young came in, Hazel was having a big smile on her face while Kwa young had this sorrowful look on her face.
“I’m so glad you’re awake, best” Hazel came to me and pecked my both cheeks.
“Me too” Kwa young says, dolefully.
“What’s wrong Kwa young?
” I’m awake and doing fine, you should be happy, isn’t it? I asked her, and to my surprise- she bursted into tears.
Hazel and others rushed to her as she made to crouch down.
“What’s going on?” I asked no on in particular but got no response. I glanced at everyone in the room, and they were all looking down.
“Would someone tell me what’s going on already?” I raised my voice, darting my eyes at everyone.
“Your Dad was shot last night by an anonymous” Ryan spoke up before lowering her head.
“Yes Audrey, and he has gone into a come with no hope of regaining consciousness anytime soon” Jordan further explained and I think I felt my heart sank, ruefully.
I stared at my feet, Mom and Kwa young kept weeping uncontrollably.
Who could the anonymous be?
“Uhmm… Can I go see him?” I murmured, but audible for mom to hear.
She wiped the tears on her face with the back of her palm.
“Not yet, dear”
I sighed softly before nodding off slowly.
“Uhmm.. where’s Chelsea?” I decided to change the atmosphere a bit, and their countenance switched to a bitter one again.
“Where’s my pet, where’s Chelsea?” I inquired in a high pitch tone.
“Calm down, Audrey” Mom says, rubbing my arm.
“Then somebody should tell me where my dog is?” I p-nts heavily, tears welling up in my eyes.
“Chelsea is dead, Audrey” Aaron replied, looking at the bedspread.
My heart hammered against my chest as the tears streamed down on their own.
I gulped down.
“Where’s it?” I asked, facing Ryan.
“It’s in the car, we haven’t bury it yet” Ryan answered, cleaning her face.
I gently disconnected the water that was passed through my left wrist.
“You can’t leave the bed yet, Audrey” Mom reminded, holding my right arm.
“I’m fine mom, I should pay Chelsea its last respect” I got on my feet and it was then I realised I was wearing a hospital dress, Kwan brought a slippers closer to my legs and I slide my feet into it.
I removed mom’s hand from my arm, and started walking out of the private ward.
“You sure you can do this?” Min jun asked, walking after me.
“We can bury it for you, Audrey” Kwan said, but I just turned deaf ears to all what they were saying.
None of them said anything afterwards, as they follow behind me quietly.
I got to the hospital garage, Aaron went ahead and opened a car which I presumed it was his car.
He brought out a paper bag from the car and stretched it forward to me, I looked from his face to the paper bag before collecting it.
With shaky fingers, I unwrapped the fabric and my heart dropped immediately.
“Chelsea!” I cried aloud, hugging her to my chest.
“Open your eyes Chelsea, I’m here”

I stood up and Aaron handed the bouquet we had stopped by to get on our way home.
I k-ssed the bouquet before placing it on the soil, I had buried Chelsea beneath it.
“I’ll miss you, Chelsea”I begin to sobs again, staring at the bouquet.
“It’s okay, Audrey” Aaron consoled me, rubbing my back tenderly.
Shortly, we were found in the living room.
“I need to find out who had pushed me into the pool” I said determinedly, grinding my teeth in anger.
“If not for anything, but for avenging Chelsea’s death”
“I think you won’t need to do that, Audrey” Ryan smirked, glancing from my face to Jordan and Aaron’s faces.
Huh?
“We already fished the person out” Aaron says and I felt my heart gladdened.
“Really?” I rose to my feet, smiling at them.
“Tell me, who’s the person?” I demanded, impatiently.
“Uhmm.. maybe you should see for yourself”
“But first, you should go upstairs and change your dress, we all need to go somewhere” Jordan winks as he talks and they all smiled, except Kwan and I.

I seethed with anger as we all watch the footage on Jordan’s phone, in the principal’s office.
“Unbelievable” The principal said with his mouth agape, after we were done watching the clip.
I was the only one sitting down, across the principal’s table- others stood behind me.
We watched as he picked the telephone on his table.
📞”Get Jin from Grade eleven over here this minute” He said in his normal thick voice before dropping the phone.
She’s going to pay for this.
“I hope you’re doing very okay?” The principal asked me but I only nodded.
“There comes the evil” I heard Kwan muttered and I quickly tilted my head back to see her coming in- glancing at everyone faces, probably shocked.
“Good afternoon, sir” She greeted the principal as she stood close to the table.
“Why did you push Audrey into the pool at her birthday party?” Mr An threw the question at her and her eyes dilated in shock immediately, but quickly replaced it with a small frown.
“I don’t.. understand sir” She stuttered taking her eyes to the floor.
I just scoffed, bitting my lower lip.
Jordan replayed the clip, bringing it to her face and her eyes bulged as she watched it.
“So would you explain that, miss Jin?” Mr An asked, sarcastically.
“Even if I was not there at the party to know the dress you were wearing, the footage was clear enough to show your face”
“Or was it your twin sister?”
She just watched her feet, not saying a single word.
“Will you answer me now or you want me to do the usual?” The principal yelled, startling us.
“This was not only her crime, sir” Jordan said behind me and I turned to him on my seat, furrowing my eyebrows.
“She had wanted to murder Audrey for long” Jordan continues and we all watched his mouth, completely confused.
“What do you mean Jordan?” Mr An asked him in a calm voice.
I glanced at Aaron and he also shrugged.
He played a voice note on his phone and kept it on the principal’s table, for everyone to listen.
