I stared at ikuku and Ikuku also stared at me.🤣

Man shall not live by bwess alone but also by every taste from ikuku, I said in my mind before mounting on ikuku.

The entrance into ikuku wasn’t hærd at all since I already appeased the appeasables. I kept going in and out of ikuku with my indaboski that had began running faster than it’s shadow.

Hmmm, ahh, ooosh, aaaashhh, hmmm, slurpy slurpy were the soft music Nelly was singing into my ears. My indaboski began dancing to the beat of the song and soon Nelly starting singing the chorus in a pitched tone.

I’m almost there, I’m almost there, she said and I knew the journey will soon be over. Let’s reach the journey together, she added.
Soon Ikuku and indaboski collided but this time nothing bust, everything just enter in,side sokup sokup. hmmm so sweet😋😋.

I laid down on the bed with her, feeling like I didn’t even go on any journey. She snuggled up to me and laid her head on my chest. Soon we both fell asleep in our Adam and Eve state.

We were both awaken by the ringtone from her phone. She picked up the phone and showed it to me, twas her mum calling.

Pick it up na, I said and she nodded her head negatively.

I don’t want to go home, she complained.

I sighed, took the phone from her and received the call.

Nelly dear, aren’t you coming back home, her mum said through the phone.

I checked the time and it was some minutes to Eight.

Good evening ma, I greeted.

Oh my son, how are you, she said. Is Nelly still there with you, she asked.

Yes ma, as I’m speaking with you ma, she’s already sleeping soundly, I said. Ma she told me she’s comfortable here and she’ll like to stay here for the night, I didn’t want to agree at first because she never consulted you nor her father for you people’s approval. But ma if you kick against I can wake her up and bring her home safely, i added.

That won’t be necessary dear, she said.
I know Nelly so well and if she says she’s fine over there, then she truly is.
I’m so happy she’s with someone that truly cares and understands her even more than me her mother, i mean that alone gives me peace of mind.Thank you so much for kindness, She added.

Your welcome ma and it’s also my pleasure doing it for you and your husband. I feel honoured and opportune, I said.

Alright dear, I’ll speak to her father informing him she’s okay. Good night the both of us, she said and hung up.

I gave Nelly her phone back, she collected but kept staring at me.

What’s the matter, I asked.

Nothing, just that no guy has even been bold to speak to my parent the way you do, she said.

Why will be afraid of your parent, I asked her. A guy will only be afraid of speaking to your parent or meeting them one on one when he’s intentions with you are not genuine, I added.

Indirectly your telling me your trying to tell me your intentions with me are genuine, she asked, teasing me.

I don’t use indirect ways to say things, I was only telling you the facts you need to know. If I’m into you, I’ll tell you openly, no need to hide it, I said.

Alright, I’m starving, come let’s eat, she said, standing up from the bed and going to the dining.

Aren’t you wearing something, I asked, when i saw she sat down on the chair still in her Eve’s state.

No, I’m not and so are you, she said.

I left the bed and took the boxes of the pizza and kept in on the dining table. I went and got the ice cream from the fridge and also dropped it on the dining table.

Are you okay, she asked when she saw I wasn’t comfortable.

Yeah, just that I never done this before, I said.

You mean being in state and sitting down with a woman, she asked.

Yes, I replied her.

So what about your ex girlfriends, she asked.

None of our relationsh¡ps ever lasted pass two Weeks, some complained I was too serious, some, said I’m always too busy with work. They couldn’t take it anymore, so they left, I added.

Don’t worry, I’m not like them, she assured me.

Okay, lets eat, I said.

Finally, she said, rubbing her two hands together. she tore of of the pizza boxes and took a slice out of it.
We ate to our satisfaction and she stood up heading to the bed, I stood up and was about following her, when I saw a little whitish fuel on the chair. There and then did my eyes open fiam and I realized I didn’t use helmet but I poured all my fuel in,side her Ikuku.

*Episode 10*

That night I couldn’t sleep, my head was spinning, Is this how I’m going to become a father overnight, oh my father save me. Why didn’t I just drop her at the entrance of ikuku why in,side, chaii I kept lamenting and lamenting till morning came.

She woke up in the morning and saw me sitting close to my reading table, my eyes red.

Are you okay, she asked and I told her I was fine.

Then why are your eyes red, didn’t you get enough sleep, she asked.

I’m fine, just a little bit tired, I said.

Then why don’t you come and rest a bit, she said standing up from the bed and walking close to me.
She led me by the hand and told me to lay on the bed and I did as she said.
She sat beside and place my head on her laps. She sang for me and soon I drifted off to wonderland.

A sweet aroma woke me up. I opened my eyes and immediately located where the aroma was coming from. There on the dining table, was nicely cooked jellof rice. I salivated immediately I caught sight of it, my tummy even made some sound in response to my action.

In a swift, I left the bed and landed on the dining chair. I saw a piece of paper close under a clean glass cup, I picked it up and it said ” Savvy my amore, by the time you will read this, I might reached home. Thank you so much for yesterday, I’m happy I have someone I can hold onto when in tough times. I prepared a little something for you,hope you like it. I love you, Nelly”

I smiled to myself, I don’t know but I felt happy.

I turned and looked at what she prepared and called small, This food that can carry me till the next day.
I took a spoon and dug into the food. It was very delicious, I took time in savouring the magnificent food. I looked at the lap of turkey and it stared back at me. without a second thought, grabbed it and dug my teeth into it, I dragged the flesh with enormous force, cut a large piece and chewed. One could think I was been starved a whole week.
I finished the meal and had another round of sleep on the dining.

By the time I woke up it was already evening, I got into the bathroom, took my bathe, wore something simple and went outside to receive the cool evening breeze.

I sat down on my chair in the varendah and brought out my phone to play game, that’s when I saw a message of credit alert. I didn’t open it at first, I kept thinking who might have credited my account, could it be Nelly’s father, no, I remembered I didn’t forward my account number to him.

Well to satisfy all curiousness, I opened the message and found out the my account was been credited with half a million. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I found another new message and it read “for everything you’ve done for us, by taking care of Nelly our daughter, take this token as a sign of sincere gratitude, Nelly’s mother.

I called the number immediately and someone picked it.

My son, came a voice I recognize as Nelly’s mother. how are you, she said.

I’m fine ma. ma I just saw the credited alert on my phone, Thank you so much ma, I’m very grateful, I said.

Don’t thank me, Thank God, she said. Your a very good young man, I know and believe that my daughter is in good hands,she added.

I’ll do my best to make sure she’s always happy ma,I assured.

Thank you once again, God bless you,she said before hanging up.

After the call, I felt Cold and odd presence, in a swift I turned and found Sylvanus precious standing close to my varendah.
