🌀 Jade’s POV 🌀
“Why would Ethan be my tutor Mom” I asked
“Isn’t it obvious, because he is very intelligent unlike the person right in front of me that’s really dumb” Mom said with a shrug
“Mom!” I yelled
“Sorry dear but on a serious note Ethan will be you tutor, I’ve already told your principal about it unless..”
“Unless what” I immediately cut in
“Unless Ethan himself doesn’t agree though I hope he agrees” Mom said
I’ll make sure Ethan doesn’t agree to it, if he agrees how will I ever cope with him tutoring me, that will be another embarrassment
“Okay Mom” I said as I climbed up the stairs
🌀 Ethan’s POV 🌀
We went to meet the principal and he congratulated us
“Am so proud of you guys right now, the happiness in me sprouted when I heard we won the NMC for the first time. You guys broke the record therefore your names will forever live on in this school” the principal said
He talked some more and when he was done, Addy and I turned to leave but he called me back while Addy left
“Ethan” he called
“Yes sir”
“You were simply amazing today, you are the pride of RHS”
“Thank you sir” I said bowing a little
“How would you like to be a tutor?” He asked
“Tutor?” I asked confused
“Yeah like a home tutor, after school you’ll go to the person’s house, teach her for a few hours and go back home and you’ll be paid” he said
I really don’t know what to say but am not the kind of person that refuses people, especially not the principal and the pay will even help me since things are kinda hærd at home now
“Okay sir, no problem” I said
“Great, thanks Ethan, write down your account details for the payment” he said giving me a pen and paper and I wrote it down
“Okay, you’ll begin the tutoring tomorrow, after school a car will be sent to your house to bring you to Jade’s house for the tutoring” the principal said and I was shocked
“Jade?!” I asked
“Yeah, you’ll be tutoring Jade” he said and I kept silent
I’ll be tutoring Jade!!!, That’s like sending me to a slaughter house! and here I thought I had escaped her bullying
“I’ll call her Mom to deliver the good news to her, you can go now Ethan” the principal said and I left
I walked through the hallway, lost in thoughts and thinking about being Jade’s tutor. Oh God, am surely gonna die in her hands
I heard footsteps and someone slipped an arm round my shoulder and I immediately knew it was James
“What’s wrong Man, you are walking like a living corpse, aren’t you supposed to be happy for winning the NMC?” he asked and I kept silent
“Come on man, talk to me, what’s wrong?” He asked again as we walked out of the school
“Jade’s is getting a tutor” I said and he laughed
“Really!, Well I sure do pity whoever has the ill-luck of being her tutor cause she’s gonna literally skin that person alive” he said and I turned to look at him wide-eyed “but how does that concern you” he asked
“Am the tutor!” I yelled
“What!” He exclaimed “You are dead man” he said
“What?!”
“Jade hates you, am sure that in her life, you are the only person that she has ever apologised to and now you are her tutor? Just start writing your Will bro, am gonna miss you” he said dramatically, hugging me and sniffing
“Stop it!” I yelled breaking from the hug “I am not dieing”
“I hope so too bro” he said shaking his head
What is this guy doing, he’s just adding to my fears
“But seriously, you gotta be careful, Jade’s gonna be really angry and whatever you do, don’t piss her off more than she already is” he said and I nodded
“When will you begin tutoring her?” He asked
“Tomorrow” I replied
“Wow, I still can’t believe you’ll be leaving us tomorrow, you shall be missed bro but don’t worry, am sure you’ll be going to heaven” he said sniffing and putting up a fake sad face
“James!” I yelled angrily and he laughed
We entered the bus and it drove off

🌀 Jade’s POV 🌀
I walked down the stairs dressed in my uniform with my backpack
I walked to the dinning to have my breakfast
“Jade” Mom called while we were eating “I have good news for you”
“What is it Mom?”
“Principal Cooper called yesterday, Ethan has agreed to be your tutor” she said with joy
I choked on my food as I was surprised
“Are you okay?” Mom asked “Get her a glass of water” Mom said to the maid standing by my side and she quickly did as she was told
I emptied the glass as I drank all the water
“Are you alright” Mom asked concerned
“Hell no, am not alright! I don’t want Ethan to be my tutor, you can get me someone else but not Ethan!” I yelled
“Ethan is the perfect person Jade, he’s really intelligent, he’s your classmate and I think he’ll be able to explain things to your level of understanding” Mom said calmly
“I don’t want Ethan!” I yelled
“Ethan will be your tutor and that’s final Jade!” Mom yelled back
I looked at her in anger and stormed out of the house
Am definitely gonna teach Ethan a good lesson when I get to school today
The driver stopped in front of the school gate and I didn’t even wait for him to open the door for me, I opened it myself and stepped out in anger
I walked up to Emma and Daisy. They asked what was wrong and I told them
“What!!” Emma exclaimed
“Ethan is going to be your tutor?” Daisy asked surprised “You’ll have to teach that boy a lesson or else he’ll make you a laughing stock in this school” she said
“Exactly” Emma agreed
We walked into the school into the school and went straight to my class
We met Ethan on his seat but Addisson was with him too
“Ethan!” I yelled as I walked up to him and the wh0le class turned their attention to us
“Get the f-ck out of my way Addisson!!” I yelled when she stood in front of me
She looked suprised as she shifted and there he was, my tutor 😤😠
“How dare you Ethan!” I yelled
“It’s like you don’t love your life nerd” Daisy said
“What did he do now” Addisson asked
“Shut up your trap Addisson” Emma yelled
“Unless you want to get beaten up” Daisy said
“Just like how Ethan is about to get beaten up” Emma added and she kept quiet.
It’s obvious she’s no match for the 3 of us, and with the NMC done, she doesn’t have anything to blabber with again
“Now stand up Ethan” I said and he slowly stood up looking scared
“Please don’t do anything to him, the principal requested him to and he couldn’t refuse” someone said and I turned to see James pleading
“Seems our little Ethan here is making some friends already” I said “Don’t you dare talk to me James, I don’t care what made him agree to it”
“Kneel down” I said facing Ethan and he hesitated
“Kneel down!” I yelled
“He won’t” someone yelled and I turned back to see my Mom with Mrs Logan
“Mom!” I said surprised “what are you doing here now”
“I’ll let Mrs Logan do the introduction” she said with a smirk, what is she up to now
“Well Jade, principal Cooper took 3 months leave so for the next 3 months, Mrs Prescott will be the principal” Mrs Logan said and my jaw dropped

🌀 Ethan’s POV 🌀
I was shocked too, Jade’s Mom is now the principal??
“So now that you know what am doing here Jade, come with me to my office” Jade’s Mom said “and you too Ethan”
It seems Jade was too surprised to speak as she just followed her Mom out of the class and I quietly went with them too to the Principal’s office
“Mom what is the meaning of this!” Jade yelled immediately we entered the office
“We are in school Jade, and here you don’t call me Mom, you call me Principal and you don’t yell at me or you’ll get expelled”
“What!” Jade exclaimed
“Can I have your phone Jade?” Jade’s Mom asked
“Why?” Jade asked
“Your phone!” her Mom repeated slightly raising her voice and Jade handed it to her
“Am sure you remember my warning Jade, I warned you not to bully anyone again but you went ahead and disobeyed me, so from now on, your phone is confiscated, you are grounded, and no summer trip for you” Her Mom said
“Mom!” She yelled
“Don’t make me add to your punishment Jade, it’s Principal in school” she said and Jade kept quiet
Wow, seems she’s really afraid of her Mom
“Ethan” she called turning to me
“Yes ma’am”
“Thanks for agreeing to be Jade’s tutor, you are doing her a great favour. Why don’t you thank him Jade, he agreed to tutor you” She said looking back to Jade but she kept silent
“Am talking to you Jade!” She yelled and Jade quickly faced me
“Thanks” she said in a low voice
Oh no, I don’t want her to tell me thanks, this is only going to make her to be more angry with me
“Great, Ethan will be coming over today after school to begin your first lesson, right Ethan?” Her Mom asked and I slowly nodded
“Perfect, you can go now Jade, but you stay Ethan” she said and Jade gave me that ‘am definitely going to kill you’ look before going out
“Am speaking as Jade’s Mom and not your Principal now, am sorry for my daughter’s rudeness, I apologise on her behalf” she said and I nodded
“She’s always been so rude and it’s my fault for not trying to change her earlier but now, am really trying my best Ethan and I hope you’ll help me change her too by being a good tutor to her and disregard everything she says to you, if she threatens or bully you, please report to me”
“Okay” I said though am not sure if I can be a good tutor, I don’t even know how am gonna teach her and I don’t think I have the nerve to report Jade to her mom, oh God, help me out of this dilemma
“Thanks, a car will be sent to your house after school, so can you write down your address for me” she said and I wrote it down “you may go now”
I walked out of the office and met Jade outside, she walked up to me looking like she’s gonna kill someone
“You are happy right, you’ve got my Mom on your side but lemme tell you this ain’t over, you haven’t won yet, I promise you are gonna regret all this when my Dad comes” she said and walked away
What kind of situation have I found myself now, I never meant to get on her bad side
I walked to the classroom and she was already on her seat. I really don’t want to seat beside her now
I slowly walked towards her and sat on my seat, luckily, she was quiet and didn’t say anything
We had 3 classes and the bell ranged for a break
I had someone whistle and I looked up to see James at his seat motioning for me to come
I was really feeling uncomfortable sitting beside Jade so I quickly stood up and went to meet him
“Let’s go to the cafeteria” he said and we went out of the class
“You are so lucky Ethan, you would have been dead already if Jade’s Mom didn’t come to save you” he said and I nodded
We walked to the cafeteria and got our food, we sat down and started eating
“What are you going to teach Jade today?” He asked
“I don’t know” I replied
“Just teach her taekwondo” he said laughing at his own joke
“Are you really finding this funny?” I asked
“Of course, who wouldn’t find it funny, silent and innocent Ethan tutoring the rude and bossy Jade, it is going to be so fun” he said still laughing
“If you find it so funny, maybe you should tutor her instead” I said
“No thanks, I don’t wanna die young” he said shaking his head
“So am the one that wants to die young?” I asked
“With the way you keep getting on her bad side, I think maybe you want to die young” he said and I shot him a deadly stare
Everywhere suddenly became quiet in the cafeteria and I turned to see Jade and her friends along with Cole, Jade’s boyfriend coming into the cafeteria
🌀 Cole’s POV 🌀
Daisy and Emma told me what happened in the morning and I still can’t believe it, Jade’s Mom is now the principal?
The bell ranged for break and I went to Jade’s class along with Emma and Daisy
She was sitting alone, that stupid jerk isn’t there
We walked up to her and I noticed she wasn’t in her normal mood, she was really angry
“I’ll get back at him for you Jade, you don’t need to get all worked up over this” I said and she nodded
We went to the cafeteria and immediately we walked in, everywhere became silent
I sighted Ethan eating with another boy and my anger heightened, how dare he make my Jade angry and still eat happily
“You guys should go ahead, I’ll catch up with you” I said and they walked to their usual seat
I walked up to Ethan and placed a hand on his shoulder and I felt him shiver
“I know you are happy now jerk but am definitely going to get back at you for making Jade angry, you are going to regret ever coming to this school” I said and walked away
🌀 Ethan’s POV 🌀
Another threat again, I just hope Cole doesn’t do anything irrational cause am so afraid right now, this wasn’t the life I planned on living when I came to this school
“I pity you bro, you keep getting on everyone’s bad side and now Cole, you shouldn’t have messed with him” James said shaking his head
“I didn’t mess with him, I never messed with any of them” I said
“I guess it’s just your badluck then, you have bad Aura surrounding you Ethan, you need to be delivered or you shall die” he said dramatically in a husky voice
“For once James, be serious and help me out” I said
“Fine fine, but like seriously, I can’t do anything to help you, not when you’ve got all the biggest bullies in school aiming for your throat, and Cole, that guy can be really dangerous, he’s the captain of the school’s basketball team and his got lots of guys at his beck and call” he said and I sighed, am really in for trouble
The bell ranged again and we went back to our class
I sat down on my seat and moments later Jade came in, still with her angry face and she sat on her seat
Then Addisson came in,side the class and walked up to my seat
“Can I speak with you Ethan” he asked and I nodded
“I mean outside” she said
I stood up and followed her outside the class
“What the hell is going on between you and Jade, why was she so angry in the morning and why is her Mom suddenly the principal” she asked and I kept silent, am not sure if I should tell her
“Am talking to you Ethan” she said
“Am going to be her tutor” I said
“Whose tutor?”
“Jade’s”
“What!!” She exclaimed “why would you be her tutor?” She asked
“Long story, I’ll tell you later” I said and quickly went into the class, my life in school is a nightmare 😔
We had 2 classes and the bell ranged for end of the school day
I walked with James to the bus stop and we entered the bus together
He kept talking about Jade and the tutoring stuff and I seriously can’t wait for him get off the bus, he’s just getting me more scared
The bus reached it’s first bus stop but he didn’t get down
“Aren’t you getting down?” I asked
“Of course not, what kind of friend will I be if I let you go home alone when you are this scared” he said
“Friend?” I asked, am still not used to having friends
“What? did you think am your boyfriend before?, For your information, am not g-y” he said making a disgusting face
“Am not g-y either”
“Better, so am going with you to your house, it’s obvious you’re scared, I need to be with you to motivate you” he said
“And whose fault is it that am scared, you are the one making this all scary”
“Sorry man, but I gotta tell you the truth, even if you get scared” he said and I just smiled
I can’t believe I’ve made two friends already, Addisson and James
The bus stopped again and we stepped out and walked to my house
I opened the door and I met Josh sitting on the chair busy with his phone
“Welcome little brother” he said when he sighted me “and who is this?” He asked pointing at James
“Am James, Ethan’s friend” James said
“Wow, little brother is really making some friends, am Josh, Ethan’s brother” he said and they shook hands
“Where’s Sophie?” I asked
“She came back from school tired so she’s asleep” Josh replied
“Okay, let’s go to my room” I said to James and he followed me to my room
🌀 Jade’s POV 🌀
The driver drove into the house and opened the door for me
I stepped out and walked into the house. I met Mom in the sitting room, I guess she came back early
“Jade, you are back, how was school today?” She asked
Is this woman serious?, She came to school today as the principal and totally embarrassed me and she’s still asking me how my day was like nothing happened
“It was fine Principal” I replied
“Come on Jade, we are at home, you can call me Mom” she said
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming to the school as the principal Mom?” I asked
“Because you stormed out of the house in anger before I could tell you this morning” she replied
“Why are you even the principal Mom” I asked
“Because I know my daughter, I knew you’ll be angry when you find out that Ethan is your tutor and I can’t let you bully that poor kid, so I thought what better way to keep an eye on you than being the principal myself, so I called principal Cooper and he agreed to go on 3 months leave”
“Mom!, You are seriously ruining my life!” I yelled
“No sweetie, am trying to change you for the better, I want you to be a completely changed person before your Dad comes back” she said
“I won’t change Mom, I like the way I am”
“You will Jade, now go and get changed, I’ve already sent a car to bring Ethan”
“What!”
“You heard me right so go and get ready before your tutor comes” Mom said raising her voice and I left the sitting room in anger
🌀 James POV 🌀
“Who is Sophie?” I asked as we entered his room
“My younger sister” he replied
“What about your dad and Mom?” I asked
“Dad is still at work, Mom is dead” he said and I noticed his voice quavered a bit
“Sorry man, didn’t know”
“No problem” he said
“Does your dad know that you’ll be tutoring someone?” I asked
“Yeah, I told him yesterday and he has no problem with it” he said
“Okay, that’s great, you better start getting dressed, am sure the car will be here anytime soon” I said and he began to get dressed
Few minutes later he was all dressed up and Josh opened the door to the room
“There’s a man asking for Ethan, he says he’s a driver and was asked to bring you over to Jade’s house” Josh said with a shrug
“Yeah, am coming” Ethan said, it was obvious he was really nervous
We went out of the house and the driver opened the door for Ethan to enter but he stood still
I tapped him “go on bro, it’s gonna be alright, the Lord is your strength” I said with smile and he shot me a stare, come on what have I said wrong now
He finally mustered up the courage and went in,side the car, the driver closed the door and soon, they drove off
I sighed and found my way to my house, I hope Jade doesn’t do anything to him
