Harmony episode 4
 
I got into the school a week later, I stayed there for two months without a friend, I walked absent mindedly to my class. I bumped into someone and fell on my butt, it was a girl
 
‘Can’t you see? Do you want to mess up my expensive dress?’ She yelled, I rolled my eyes and stood up
 
‘That dress doesn’t cost that much so shut up’ I snapped
 
‘Do you know who I am?’ She asked angrily
 
‘An arrogant bitch, that’s for sure, now get out of my way’ I brushed her off like a piece of chaff and walked away, a girl came close to me with a grin
 
‘That was really cool, no one have ever talked to Clover like that, she’s gonna get you, happy funeral day in advance’ she said jokingly, I stopped and looked at her hazily
 
‘Have we met? You are familiar in every way’ I said hazily
 
‘Nope’ she said nonchalantly
 
‘No, I never forget a face’ I said thoughtfully
 
‘Have you ever been to Willow summer camp?’ I asked thoughtfully
 
‘Yea, I went there every summer period when I was in first to fourth grade, I stopped tho because my only friend there stopped coming and I lost her contact’ she said sadly, I smiled
 
‘Benedette Louis, A.K.A Benny Lou’
 
‘How did you know my n…..’ She paused and gasped. ‘Harmony!’ She squealed, she threw herself on me excitedly. ‘My lost but now found bestie’
 
‘Nice to meet you too again but can you let me breathe? I still have a lot to live for’ I gasped out, she chuckled and let me go
 
‘So tell me what you’ve been up to’ she said cheerfully as we walked on
 
‘Nothing much, went to a school in Paris and had my heart broken’ I said buoyantly
 
‘You don’t seem to act like someone who just got her heart shattered’ she pointed out reasonably and then clapped her hands loudly. ‘I forgot that you don’t ever take anything seriously, like never’ she said laughingly
 
‘True but my heart did get hurt plus that was almost three months ago’
 
‘Ah! I see, so any new guy now?’
 
‘Seriously?’
 
‘Just kidding’ she laughed, she froze staring at……a guy? I smirked
 
‘Seems like you have’ she looked down shyly when the guy starting advancing to her
 
‘Hey Benny’
 
‘Hi Stanley’ she said sheepishly
 
‘You didn’t return my call yesterday or the day before that’
 
‘I was busy with better stuffs’ she said acidly 😮😮😮 he winced
 
‘What’s so important? So I’m not important to you?’ He asked sadly
 
‘Not more than others, I have to go now, see ya later’ she said hatefully and stomped off, I followed her
 
‘Chameleon much?’
 
‘Sorry, I just remembered that I’m suppose to be mad at him, I’ve known him since six grade, he knows I like him a lot yet he pretends he doesn’t and make me help him win the heart of other girls, isn’t that unfair’ she said annoyingly
 
‘Then let him go, he’s not worth it’ I said seriously, she nodded
 
‘I plan to’ she said dreamily staring at another guy, ten times hotter, he has long braided hair and a tattoo on his neck to his arm. ‘He’s really nice but the tattoo is fake, don’t mind it, he’s super rich and hot plus he really really likes me’
 
‘But he can’t tell you’ I added calmly, she nodded. ‘What’s his name?’
 
‘Jared’
 
‘Well then, let’s get Jared!’
 
#years_later
 
I sat up lazily on my bed as the alarm buzzed, I sat up with a yawn and stood up on my toes, I stretched tiredly and cracked all my bones before plodding to the bathroom
 
Today felt like a good day, like something good was going to happen, I dressed up really pretty and went to school, final exam was today, another reason to be happy
 
‘Wow, you look stunning!’ Benny exclaimed
 
‘Thank you honey’
 
‘Why so fabulous?’ She asked suspiciously, I shrugged, she smiled and shrugged too

I stomped out of school angrily, a stupid boy just succeeded in ruining my day, my phone rang, Harry
 
‘Hi big brother’
 
‘Hi big auntie’ a small voice giggled, I chuckled
 
‘Nelly, what are you doing with your dad’s phone?’
 
‘I miss you’
 
‘How did you know my number anyways?’
 
‘Daddy stored it with my music’
 
‘You are just three, you can’t read’ I said softly
 
‘But I do know how you look like, daddy saved it with your picture’. After Harry settled with dad, he married Annabel and immediately she took in again resulting to this little loquacious angel
 
‘Okay, I promise to come see you next week, happy?’ I asked teasingly, she squealed and I think toss the phone away and ran off squealing, funny
 
I cut the call smiling, I wasn’t even looking, I held shouts and then I turned, a car was running to me,  I panicked and froze. A hand pulled me back and I crashed on something hærd, passing out at impact.
 
I opened my eyes painfully and gro-ned when a light flashed in my eyes, I turned my head away from the light and opened my eyes properly. Someone was holding my hand, I gently turned my head to the other side and saw that it was Benny, she was sleeping
 
‘Benny’ I called shakily, she didn’t wait up, you can put a log on her head and she will still sleep on, especially when she’s tired, I left her like that and focused on why I was on a hospital bed, everything slowly came back to me
 
‘You are awake! Thank God’ the doctor who I never knew walked in exclaimed, I smiled at her and she beamed back before walking closer to me. ‘How do you feel now?’ She asked calmly carefully touching my forehead
 
‘My head hurts’ I gro-ned
 
‘That’s because you hit your head too hærd on the pavement’
 
‘Wasn’t I hit by the car?’ I asked hazily
 
‘Almost but someone saved you, he pulled you out of the way but the force sent you both crashing on the ground, you hit your head on the pavement too hærd and passed out, it’s been three days already’ she explained
 
‘Stupid pavement’ I muttered. ‘Is he okay?’
 
‘Yea he is, he hit his head too but it didn’t really affect him, I was just talking to him, the young man haven’t left your side since, quite a gentleman compelled to what I ever expected’ is she talking to me or herself now? 😕😕😕. ‘I’m sorry, by the time you know who he is, you’ll be shocked too’
 
I shrugged. ‘Can you please wake up this tree?’ I asked seriously glaring at Benny, the doctor chuckled
 
‘Just let her be, she hasn’t slept a wink since you got here, she and the man has really been watching over you, she’s a wonderful friend’
 
‘I know’
 
‘Okay I’ll inject you with something now, by the time you wake up again, the pains will be gone, okay?’
 
‘Yes doc’
 
She injected me and I dozed off, I later woke up, I heard gentle voices arguing, one sounded really upset and the other apologetic, the upset one was a guy’s and the sorry one, Benny’s
 
‘I said I’m sorry, I was very tired and didn’t know when she woke up’
 
‘If you had listened to me when I told you to sleep and let me watch her, you wouldn’t be tired, what if she doesn’t wake up again for the next forever’ he said with a childishly upset and desperate voice
 
‘Stop being paranoid, she will wake up, the doctor said so, now stop talking to me like that because you miss your crush’
 
‘She is not my crush, I don’t even know her’
 
‘So says the guy who haven’t left the bedside of the girl “he don’t even know” oh pe-lease, you wouldn’t stop drooling over her as you stared at her sleep, you think I didn’t notice? Helloooo, I’m not stupid’ Benny said dramatically. ‘You totally like her’
 
‘I’m going to ignore you’ the guy said coolly but still upset
 
‘Harmy is an extra ordinary girl, she can make anyone fall for her even without trying, it’s her gift, her charisma and aura, people just like her for no reason, she’s like the typical embodiment of the title ‘dark beauty’ she’s unique and amazing! Trust me, you’ll love her’ Benny blabbed, I so much love this girl 😁😁😁
 
‘I don’t understand, why are you telling me, it’s not my concern’ he said blankly
 
‘She haven’t even waken up and you are already drooling, by the time she does, you’ll forget your identity and worsh¡p her like a goddess, she’s super fabulous!’ She squealed
 
‘Don’t you have a off button? How do your boyfriend tolerate you?’ The guy sighed
 
‘He actually loves it when I talk, says it makes me cute and my l-ips irresistible’ I could hear the dreaminess in her voice, the guy just turned on her “blab about my boyfriend” button, he’ll commit suicide when she starts. ‘You know one time, he was really really upset but my talking got him smiling’
 
‘Yea, no kidding’ he said sarcastically. ‘He needs to dump you’
 
‘Why will he do that? He loves me like crazy, I totally control him, beside! He can’t leave the only girl that gives him super hot good s€×’ Benny bragged, the guy gro-ned, I bit my l-ips to stop myself from laughing
 
Benny kept bragging, I could feel the guy’s frustration, she bragged about me, herself and every single rubbish, I opened my eyes once to glance at the guy but he was suffocating himself with a pillow
 
‘God of mercy!’ He finally exclaimed, I think he stood up. ‘I swear your children will be human parrots, don’t you ever get tired!!!’
 
‘Stop yelling at me and sit down this instance, I’m not done bragging’ she snapped
 
‘Seriously?’ He asked quizzically and she snorted, I decided to help so I sneezed, they gasped, I slowly opened my eyes and my gaze locked with his
 
I’ve always read novels about love at first sight but I never expected it to happen to me, I was paralysed by the smile on his face which was hovering over mine in a safe distance, his hair fell down adding to his handsomeness. My heart was beating so furiously that I feared it would jump out of my chest
 
My brain was frozen and all I could see was him I can’t fully explain how I felt but I knew without any doubt that I was in serious trouble. It took me a while to register his face but I did, it was Kirk Timberlake, a top time popstar, what is he doing here?
 
‘Harmony, are you okay?’ Benny’s voice snapped me out of my thought
 
‘I’m fine’ I replied flustered staring at him, Harmy remember Benny already bragged about you, don’t disappoint her. ‘Can you help me sit up? I think I’m seeing double’ he chuckled
 
‘You’re not, nice to see you awake’ he smiled, if I was a white or fair girl, he would have seen me blush, he had dimples like me but even deeper 😍😍😍 I sat up with his help, his hands were so warm and nice 😳😳😳
 
‘How did you save me?’
 
‘I had this strange urge to go for a walk somewhere, it was really hærd to resist so I disguised myself and went out, somehow my feet led me to your school where I saw you saying ‘hey’ to your grave’ he replied humorously
 
‘Did people see you?’ I asked panicking
 
‘Not really, I brought you here to my cousin’s hospital, he wasn’t around so his new doctor, Nathalie took care of you’
 
‘Thank you’
 
‘No, thank you for saving me from her’ he said pointedly at Benny who blew him raspberry. ‘I can see your brain never graduated from nursery school, pathetic’
 
‘My brain is s…..’
 
‘Okay okay! Stop’ I interrupted, they growled at each other
 
‘I’m so glad you are okay bestie, this mean man have been bugging me’ Benny said poutingly
 
‘Me bugging you! Have you met yourself!’ He exclaimed, soon they broke into a  craftily worded argument, it was entertaining, too bad there was no snacks to enjoy the show.
