EPISODE 6
“Yes there……there was a….. voice….” Gina couldn’t continue but kept stuttering
“There was a voice calling our names, it was windy in the living room and the wind also locked the door. The voice was echoing and…and it kept repeating our names and the playhouse” Marie managed to say
“No way, I think you guys are hallucinating” Freddie replied
” Could it be?” Gina muttered
“Yes, there’s obviously nothing like that. Maybe it’s because you both are always watching horror movies. Like yesterday you guys still watched ‘Walking Orange’ Freddie added
“I think it’s all hallucinations Marie”Gina sighed
Marie just wasn’t sure what to believe.

Their parents came back and Marie explained the same thing to them. They were told the same thing about them hallucinating.
“I think I’ll stop you all from watching that ‘Walking Orange and the Vampire Interview” Gloria said
” Minus me” Freddie said plainly
“Plus you, plus everyone” Gloria replied
“But mom, I wasn’t the one hallucinating”
“And that’s what am tryna avoid. So you won’t hallucinate too” Gloria added
“Mom am not a kid. Am eighteen for crying out loud, and I can’t be scared of an ordinary edited movie” Freddie yelled
Their mom kept quiet and continued dishing out the food in their plates on the dinning.
“Dad?”
“Don’t call me Freddie. Whatever your mom said is right” Stanley said plainly
“You’re always supporting mom. Always saying she’s right” Freddie added
” Yes, ’cause she is” His Dad replied
“Freddie will you please keep shut and eat your food” Gloria yelled
Freddie frowned and started picking his food.
” So Gina, Marie, there’s nothing like what you guys are saying. Just like Freddie said it’s all hallucinations” Gloria continued “… there’s nothing to worry about. The house is not haunted”
Gina nodded while Marie was still sure in her that it was all real.

Night time came and as usual, they all retired to bed.
Gina said her good night to Maire and fell asleep. Marie wasn’t willing to sleep yet. She quietly stepped out of the room to the kitchen. She made coffee for her herself and went back to the room.
Marie walked to their drawer and brought out her favourite novel titled ‘Revenge’ by her favourite Writer – Crystal Precious. She took it with her coffee to the living room and sat on the long couch. She started sipping her coffee and reading.
Though she was feeling dizzy, but she still tried to stay awake.

The lights were flickering and once again the sitting room became windy. Marie got up from the couch, she knew the next thing would be the voice echoing her name. She stood expecting what was going to happen somehow in fear.
“Marie” she heard the familiar voice call……..
She turned and saw the nightmare girl right at her back.
“What do you want this time?” Marie yelled not minding if anyone would hear her.
“My name is Aria” the girl said
She walked to a seat opposite Marie and sat down.
“That playhouse at the backyard is mine. And I need your help” the girl Aria said and her voice sober.
” What help? ” Marie asked still scared a bit
“I’m not a bad ghost, I just want someone to help me but I found out Gina is too weak. I couldn’t use her” Aria said again.
” Marie. I had an elder sister two years ago, who should be around Freddie’s age now. She hated me so much because our mom loved me more after our parents separated.
Mom always cared and bought me anything I wanted. But Rainbow kept getting jealous.
Her name is Rainbow, I lnow she didn’t mean all what she did but she had to”. Aria added
Marie was relieved on finding out the name of the ghost tormenting her and seeing how gentle she was. But she still didn’t want to feel so at ease.
“I don’t know where Rainbow got the mirror from, but she gave it to me. I was suspicious at first but I accepted it not knowing it was my doom. Anytime I looked into the mirror I always saw the image of a beast flashing through, but I thought it was my imagination cause it disappears immediately.
Not until one day the ugly looking beast came out of the mirror and stabbed me to death” the girl concluded already in ghosty tears.
Marie just couldn’t believe this.
“But if you say a beast is in the mirror, why did you ask me to give it to my brother? ” Marie asked.
” Because he is only one that can eliminate the beast and fight for me” Aria said her voice echoing once again.
“But…..”
“I’m sorry but I need to do this” Aria the ghost said. And like a flash she entered Marie’s body.

Marie gasped and woke up, she was still in the living room. Another nightmare.
She had slept in the living room while reading her novel, the coffee didn’t work. Somehow she felt confident and different. She packed the coffee mug to the kitchen and took her novel to the room.
She didn’t even bother about the nightmare she just had, and just hopped on her bed.
Marie glanced at the clock; 1:45AM
She had to sleep, it’s still very early.
She closed her eyes dragging the blanket over her body and finally drifted asleep.
