GINA’S POV
My eyes had followed Stanley’s entrance and had also watched him and Rosemary greet as she smiled so widely at him and he reciprocated with this cool smile and I could feel my stomach hurt with jealousy.
I really was saddened as I felt he probably never noticed I existed (or so she thought wink)
I was busy scrolling through my phone as I had a picture, that I snapped earlier that I had told Christabel that I would show her when I saw Rosemary go over to Stanley’s seat and it was not for a long while it felt like they were arguing and the next moment she left so angrily as she really was angry, but Stanley didn’t even give a damn as he was busy chatting with Ebuka.
What really was the problem? I couldn’t help but ask myself.
See me see wahala ooo! so Gina you have even turned to monitoring spirits, monitoring people’s actions.
I cautioned myself as I straightened up my thoughts for the upcoming class.
The class today was Really interesting and super cool as I was really in a high mood while coming out today for break time with Christabel.
We both were discussing as we headed to the cafeteria, when suddenly someone popped up from the blues and intercepted, our road with this smile that could melt a steel.
And may I be buttered and sugared for consumption if it is not my one and only current crush Stanley.

“Hi girls he said smiling.
And we both returned back the favor as we smiled back.
“Wotsup Stan.”
Christabel said while I kept mute forming iron lady and as if I no care, while before God and man, I care pass anything in this world.
“You girls look quite cheerful, this afternoon, mind telling me the secret, as I really need to be induced with what really makes you guys all giggling and smiling this hot afternoon.”. .
He said and we both couldn’t control ourselves as we laughed at the light joke he made.
“lol, Stan you are funny.”
christabel said as she smiled, quite fully.
“Errmmmmm!! please would you like mind if I borrow your friend for a few moment?”
He said looking at Christabel, while gently pointing at me with a smile and I couldn’t help but feel my heart nearly fly away.
Christabel was slightly drawn aback as she turned to me smiling knowingly and said.
“Of course not he is yours for keep, you can even carry him home for marriage but na your money go kill am.”
“lol, money sha never be the problem, I go settle you for the wedding day.”
He said as he turned to me.
I was just like staring at both without even like knowing what to say.
“Lol, sorry if my approach looks too bad, but I felt probably that’s the only way you might agree for me to have a few words with you.”
He said with a light smile.
lol, I myself didn’t feel anything called angry sha, but I just kept a straight face.
“OK you guys can tag along I’m feeling famished”
She said and walked off smiling at me while I gave her a dangerous glare.
“OK if you say so.”
I finally said.
“Thanks dear.”
He said .
STANLEY’S POV
I really didn’t know why but I just Manned up as I felt I wouldn’t have that opportunity again as I saw her all smiles and laughing with her friend.
Though, I felt it was foolish, but I didn’t know why i went with the plan, but luckily it worked perfectly .
We both stood staring at each other as I knew she was waiting for me to say what I called her here for.
probably for her mind now na toasting things, i take call her. 😂, but on an even more serious note if i had the boldness, I would have loved to tell her how much and much I really love and admire her, but that one na for where?
“Ermmmm!! sorry for disturbing you, if I really did, but like seriously I must really first commend you for one thing and just guess what?”
“Guess? ahhhhh na!! I’m not good with guessing.”
She said as she smiled lightly, as it really was obvious she was like enjoying what I did.
(lol to guys ooo! don’t try talking to a lady who probably doesn’t like you with this beginning speech, na correct falling hand it be ooo!! a girl who likes you might take anything from you as a speech, but not someone who doesn’t feel anything special.)
“Won’t you mind giving it a try, you might luckily get it.”
I said smiling, reassuringly.
“Nah!! I’m OK you spilling the beans.”
She said and I gave up.
“OK dear, I really would commend you for your beautiful eyeglasses, I love girls who wears eyeglasses a lot, it really looks good on you.”
I said flattering her, though I knew I was telling the truth.
“Wow thanks dear I appreciate. but I know that’s not why you really called me here.”
She said with a smile.

I said in my mind, as I watched her.
“Well actually it’s all about Ken, Ken has really not been himself for a while now and you yourself can attest to that……..”
I continued my narration while she was just listening without interrupting me.
“OK, how can I really help out?”
“OK please help put in a good word for Ken to your friend he really is dying silently.”
“Awwwwwn!! this actually was all my fault. I have begged her on you guys behalf time after time, but she has not been giving me a listening ear.
“OK can you give me her phone no?”

I asked her and she nodded in the negative.
“Christabel won’t be happy if I gave out her number without her consent. I’m sorry.”
She said and I nodded.
“Then would you mind giving me yours or would you give me an excuse tooo?”.
I asked her with a smile and she smiled out loud.
But she later ended giving me her number, just then, two guys were crossing over as they were seriously arguing over a comedian.
Here they are.
“Guy forget that thing broda Shaggi, no de anything funny, his comedy and skit is always too dry.”

The first guy said while passing and I couldn’t help but somehow nod in agreement with him sef.
“Guy na lie the guy funny die.”
The other guy argued.
“Guy, this your word now sef, funny pass broda shaggi, if you doubt it argue with our gate man’s two pence timberland shoe, that have swallowed all the wh0le sand in this school.”
The first guy said as he walked away leaving the second guy dumbfounded.
