It’s one thing to love and another thing to be loved back in return. You can control the love you give but can’t control or determine the love you receive. Honestly, it can be demotivating when you give out so much love to others but constantly get hurt in return. For all we knew, Kesha didn’t deserve the sad fate that had befallen her. She was at the verge of taking her own life because she felt there was nothing else to live for. She had no source of livelihood, no husband to care for her and no father to run for counsel and support. Everything was just falling apart and it made her have suicidal thoughts.
it’s been almost an hour since Kesha slumped due to the excess drugs intake. She was unconscious and needed urgent medical attention otherwise, she wouldn’t wake up.
As God may have it, Kesha’s family and friends were also aware of Dan’s court wedding because they saw the photo on social media too. Immediately they saw the photo, the first person that came to mind was ‘Kesha’. They called her phone countlessly but no one picked up. Due to this development, they were all scared that she might have hurt herself.
Without wasting time, Kesha’s mum and her friends headed straight to her house. Her mum arrived first and continously knocked on the door but no one responded. Kesha’s friends arrived few minutes later and joined the elderly woman in knocking the door.
It’s been over 20 minutes since they began knocking the door but still no response. Out of curiosity, Kesha’s mum went round the house and peeked through the windows to see if she would catch any glimpse of her daughter. As she looked through the windows one after the other, she almost dropped dead when she saw Kesha lying lifeless on the floor of her room. With a loud scre-m, she alerted others and they ran to the window to see why Kesha’s mum shouted. immediately they saw Kesha lying lifeless in her living room, they panicked and used every strength in them to break the door open.
With immediate effect, Kesha was rushed to the hospital and began receiving treatments. The chances of her survival was a 50/50 chances because the drugs overdose had entered deeply into her body system. The doctors and nurses at the emergency ward did everything they could to dilute the overdose and revive her but it wasn’t an easy task at all. The only thing Kesha’s mum and friends could do was cry and pray that she wakes up. It was a trying time for them indeed.
While Kesha battled for her life at the hospital, Dan was on a honeymoon cruise with his newly wedded wife. Deep down, he knew that Kesha must have found out about his new marriage but cared less about how she might be feeling due it. For all Dan knew, he was a man and entitled to as many wives as he wanted without answering to any body. He felt he had the liberty to do whatever he wanted without being questioned.
The funny thing about the wh0le situation is the fact that Dan was a broke man who depended on innocent well-to-do women as his means of livelihood. He was lazy and didn’t have any stable job to foot the bills of his lifestyle. The only job he had was to go about eating off woman that loved him.
Matter of fact, Dan’s new wedding was sponsored by his new wife ‘Sharon’. She was the one who sent the invitation letter for him to migrate to the US. The lady was in her late forties(40) and was a banker.
Dan met her online a while ago, through social media. It first started from casual chatting but later developed into a relationsh¡p. He knew the woman was desperately in need of marriage, so he used her weakness against her by promising her marriage. Too bad!
While Kesha was still unconscious, she had a vision that changed her life. In that vision, she cried bitterly as she walked in a lonely road. While crying, she met a lady that was about the same age with her and a conversation started. “Why are you crying?” the strange lady asked, “I really don’t know, maybe it’s because my husband is leaving me for another woman” Kesha soberly said.
The lady looked at Kesha and smiled warmly. She held her hands and tried to prevent her from walking further down the lonely road. “Stop walking! You might not have the chance to rewrite your story if you walk further down this road” she said but Kesha kept walking. Unable to stop her, the lady continued to press on. “Do you want to die?” she asked and Kesha nodded ‘Yes’ and kept walking. When all hope seemed lost, the lady tried one last time.
“Listen, you have a wonderful life ahead and you want to throw it out the door just because of the choices of another human? Why isn’t your husband who made the mistake the one crying and committing suicide? Why do you feel like a failure because of someone else’s mistakes? Why do you suddenly feel as though your life is over, when the life of the person who hurt you is just starting? How can you give up on yourself so soon? This isn’t the time to crawl up on your shell and cry, but rather the time to face life head-on! Kesha, today can be a new dawn in your life. Pick up the pieces of your life and turn it into a magnificent master piece. This is your life! This is your story! This is your decision! This is your choice! Live for yoouu!!” the lady said and in a flash of light, Kesha jacked up from the hospital bed scre-ming; “I must live!”
The attention of everyone at the emergency ward was immediately drawn to Kesha. The doctor and nurses rushed to her and began running some tests to ascertain her current condition. After few check ups, the doctor was convinced that she was now in perfect condition.
Kesha’s mum and friends were informed and they praised God for to such a miracle. They were allowed into her hospital room and didn’t hesitate in seeing her. Immediately Kesha saw her mum and friends, she smiled faintly and gave them a warm hug.
As tears fell off everyone’s eyes, Kesha parted from the hug, looked at her mum and dropped a shocker; “Mummy, I’m walking away from my marriage with Dan. I know my worth now and know that I deserve more!”
Kesha’s mum looked at her, smiled and said those magical words of support; “I am with you my daughter!”
