Episode 8

Aishley POV

“oh shit Darrell will surely find out about our licking house. I need to find an excuse so he will go back” I thought to myself.

I need to find an excuse to make him go back. I was about to lie to him that my siblings are already gone to school when my little kids shouted.

“Is that uncle Darrell please tell him we missed him he’s such a sweetheart” they said in chorus.

I try to wink at them just to keep them shut but it was too late has they shouted and I knew Darrell will have hear them.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Darrell asked from the other end of the said call.

“Darrell the rain is heavy so we are taking a break today. neither me nor my siblings is going out so just leave to your working place” I said.

“Why” he asked.

“that’s our decision we decided to stay home today.

I got another call sorry I gat to go make sure you leave soon before the whole place with be filled with water and you won’t be able to drive your car from this area” I said and hang the call before he could say anything.

I think he should leave since the rain is heavy and he might be stuck in here.

well you guys will be thinking why I didn’t tell him that.

that’s because am not the type that disturb other with my problem and emotions.

I might feel disturb and really need help but I will rather stay mute instead of speaking that’s was the ideal I grew up with.

I don’t like people piting me because some do that just to show they are the best but they are really making jest of you at your back.

I believe in my handwork cause I know it can never deceive me.

Authoress POV

9years back.

“Mrs Theresa please we do really need your help” Mr Addie said to the popular and wicked wife of a richman where he works as the gatekeeper and Mrs Addie works as a maid.

“Why do you need my help and what for” she replied placing her leg on the small table Infront of her and adjust herself properly has one of the maid bend to massage her legs.

“I need money to pay my daughter school fees” Mr Addie said.

Ainsley was actually 12years back then she just finished her junior secondary school year and she’s is going to senior secondary school.

her siblings where only 4years then.

her parent need money to get her new uniform and so many things for her education and they decided to asked the woman since her husband has been away from home for month.

but she turned them down by trying to used Ainsley father for her own selfish interest but she disgrace him since he refused to do what he asked him to.

that’s how they quit the job without getting a dine out of the money the woman owe them.

“I should be blamed for this I am a useless man I can’t even provide for my family.

I should have work hærd when I am young but I believe that my parent has everything and use my life flirting arounds with girls” Mr Addie said angrily and hit his hand hærd on the wall.

“Eddie stop doing this, stop doing this to yourself is our fault not yours and we need to face this together.

so let try our possible best to train our children up in the right way instead of getting angry at yourself” Alvin Eddie wife which is Mrs Addie said trying calm his husband down.

it’s true Eddie is right parent are sometime part of there children future. let me tell you little about Addie Lionel, Addie Eddie father.

he was a very popular man who makes money in anyway he could with dirty or clean job but this was never known to many people they think he’s a pure person.

him and is wife where never a good parent and didn’t train there children in the proper way but when Nemesis will caught up with Mr Addie and his wife their dirty secret exposed and government took over their property and was sentenced to years imprisonment.

Alvin was Eddie girlfriend back then in school.

Eddie is a flirt but respect and love Alvin so much.

Alvin is a scholarsh¡p student but lost focus due to the friend she moved with.

she droppout after it was announced she’s pregnant in the school hospital.

but due to the love Eddie have for her they both live school since he was only struggling to pay his fees.

he leaves his elder brother in the town and moved to another town with Alvin.

that’s how they start living a hærd and uncomfortable life and are really trying hærd to give their children the best.

“Am useless that’s just the definition of me” Eddie said.

Alvin try her best to calm him down.

But when saying all this. They thought Ainsley have slept but no she heard everything they where say.

she study hærd and also go to do delivery job and home services after school without her parent knowledge and with times she was able to gather money because a man she went to deliver to see her has a discipline and hærd-working girl.

The man gave her money with that she was able to support her parent in her schooling.

She gave all the money she makes to her parent.

when they asked her how she get it she explained to them and that makes them more proud of her.

that’s why Ainsley hate asking for help she believes she can do things on her own because she don’t want too many people attached to her suffering and personal life.

Back to the present.

Ainsley POV

I went to the sitting room with my siblings thinking Darrell gas gone but I met him in the sitting room w-t.

“Darrell what are you still doing her” I asked.

but he all his focus were on the licking area which we put bucket. so the water can be dropping into it.

“uncle why are you staring at the roof like that?” Jemima asked.

“Ainsley for how long has this been happening he managed to speak but he’s voice where not clear enough.

“I very long time ago but hero has amend it before but the roof seems to be stubborn” Jemmy said.

“Darrell you shouldn’t worry about that I will get it fixed. you are w-t now I don’t know why you are so stubborn after I asked you to leave” I said.

“Don’t tell me this the reason you don’t want me to come in,side” Darrell asked.

“You should leave that aside you need to change your wears is really w-t I said.

“I know you don’t wanna tell me about this but atleast you should have considered me has a friend and tell me about this” Darrell said.

I don’t f-cking need his help I just want to make sure he didn’t want to help me.

“What are you going to do even if I tell you. to me it doesn’t make any difference so leave this.

Is my personal life so don’t involve yourself in it. get it?” I asked in and unrespectful way to get him angry.

but I don’t think what I said move him a bit.
