Episode nineteen

Back in Yakubu’s father Company.

Yakubu was so happy as he was entering his father’s company in grand style..he felt so confident and expected people to be at the entrance to welcome him, but there was no one except the receptionist .

Welcome Sir, How may I help you? ? the receptionist said

I want to see my father the owner if this company.

That means the MD most have a lot of Sons because someone else just came here not quite long and said the same thing you’re saying right now.

After a while the receptionist asked them to go in. …first office on the Second floor she said.

After climbing the stairs to the second floor they got to the Managing director’s office.
Immediately they entered Yakubu father’s office, mama Yakubu saw her old time friend her mood changed, her face was facing the ground , its was as if the ground should open and swallow her.

As they were both leaving, mama Yakubu and mama Ayo was insulting and cursing each other till they went their various ways.

Yakubu was so worried, he didn’t expect things to torn out, the way they did..
He kept asking his mum about what happened and how they knew each other also if all the things the other woman said was true but she wouldn’t say. ..

Mummy please tell me the truth, so we don’t embarrass ourselves when the results comes out…

Finale

One week later😃

Mama Yakubu and mama Ayo had been called to see Mr Sambo in his office again since the DNA result is out.

Good morning Sir..They both greeted him.
Yakubu was so afraid of what the result will be like, he couldn’t sleep well through out the week, he had so many plans of how the future maybe like before now, he has already married a senator’s daughter to meet up to his father’s demand but now things has totally changed, how will he face her and how will he take care of her ,if he wasn’t Mr Sambo’s Son.

He has bragged to so many people even Bunmi about his father’s wealth and how he is the rightful heir to Mr Sambo’s properties.

His mother has assured him that everything will be alright but he still wasn’t sure since the situation has taking a new dimension.

Well the result is out and it says non of these boys are my children, so what is going on here, you better talk before I report you both to the police and make sure both of you go to Jail for deceit. Mr Sambo said in anger.

Hmmm Mr Sambo. …I don’t understand it oh…I think the doctors made a mistake, this boy is your son, I carried him for Nine months in my womb. ..Mama Ayo burst in tears.

You people better start saying the truth before I call the police. …Mr Sambo said in anger.

They were both silent…and it made Mr Sambo more angry.

Ok since nobody wants to tell me what is going on I will arrest your son’s maybe by then, the truth will come out..Mr Sambo said reaching for his phones to make call.

I will talk, I am sorry for everything, please don’t call the police, I don’t want my Son to go to Jail for what he did commit, Mama Yakubu said.

They all quickly drove to the house where the Boy lives. (Mr Sambo so called real son )

Mr Sambo explained the Situation to the family, it wasn’t easy for them to accept but requested to do a DNA test to confirm their claims.

After one week the test result came out, Ayo wasn’t mama Ayo Boy, it was the new Boy Tope who is Mr Sambo Son.
Mama Ayo Wept for Joy.

Mr Sambo was really happy at last he saw and found his real son. Mama Yakubu was arrested and the case was taken to court. She was Sentenced to Five years imprisonment and the case was decided.
Its wasn’t Mr Sambo’s who take the case up but the new Boy’s parents who couldn’t let what she did slide since she was an Auxiliary nurse in training then when both woman gave birth and she quickly swapped the babies.

Yakubu was so disappointed at his mother, he doesn’t even know his real father yet and his mother wouldn’t say since she had passed through a lot by paying for her sins .

Back to Mama Bunmi house.

Mama Bunmi has forgiven Bunmi for all she did and gave her a condition if she must stay with them.

Bunmi has to work earn money to take care of her son and still go back to School on PART-TIME. She has to face life squarely as a mother and a student. No more mistakes

Some years later

Bunmi Graduated from school, Seun is now a big Boy, he has finished his primary school education. Bunmi got married and later travelled aboard with her Son.

Mama Yakubu was out from prison. Yakubu was still struggling to survive ,things was not easy for them , the Senator daughter has left him to marry someone else , Yakubu couldn’t forgive his mum for all that happened, he looked for Bunmi but later found out she was married and out of the country ,out of his reach.
He became so miserable, started drinking and was frustrated.
He couldn’t marry again since no woman was ready to settle with a drunkard and broke man.
Mama Yakubu regretted her actions, she lost her son trust and love , their relationsh¡p got sour, they never talk to each other expect through quarrels.

Mama Bunmi and Tinuke later Join, Bunmi and her husband in UK and life goes on. ..
