Later that day mama karimo called mama Bunmi that she wanted to see her.

Yes I have, I took her to general hospital last month and that private hospital at the next street.

I don’t know for sure but one thing I know is my daughter has changed from looking sad and Moody to a happy woman, not that is a bad thing but I know how it seems when someone is in love and seeing a man.

But Kemi your daughter is still pregnant and you’re thinking of another Pregnancy when she hasn’t delivered this one.

Its Because I am worried about her future, if she keeps seeing him she might still continue after giving birth.

I think I over heard Bunmi and her friend talking about Yakubu but I don’t know what the conversion was about.

Hmmm that girl will not kill me, Mama Yakubu don’t want Bunmi near her son but she will not be wise and take good advise.

Well my sister when she delivers, we will plan on what to do, so she doesn’t get pregnant again at least till she get married.

I don’t know where I went wrong with her, God knows I try everything to help her through her studies and now I don’t know what to do.

She took the sac of rice and went home.

Its was weekend already on a Friday morning and she was packing her stuff to travel.
Kemi was going for her cousins Wedding , its was compulsory all family members should attending, but she won’t be taking Bunmi along to avoid humiliation from her sisters.

Bunmi am about leaving, please take good care of the house oh and I don’t want to hear that boy came here to look for you.
Please and please listen to me for once, be well behave , I have had enough from that family, I don’t want more insult.

And I left some food for you in the fridge, I will be back on Monday since its a public holiday.

Take this money, Kemi giving Bunmi Two thousand naria.
This money is for any Emergency, don’t spend it oh. Take this one for recharge card, if anything comes up don’t hesitate to tell me.

After a while mama Bunmi left.
Bunmi was so happy she had the house all to her self.

After eating she called Yakubu.

Same here my mum just traveled today so am Home alone.

Yes but not at this time, wait till when my neighbor has gone to work, he talks too much.

Wow that means we have all the weekend to ourselves.

Yes but I think we should book a hotel room for the weekend. Bunmi said.

No naaw, lets save money and spent it at your place.
I won’t come out I promise, I will just use the money to buy fuel and put in your Generator.

I will leave on Sunday first thing.

Besides our generator has been abandoned since my dad die I doubt it will work.
Don’t worry your self my friend kuku will come service it this morning, i will call him now.

Bunmi started cleaning the wh0le house, the toilet and kitchen included, she prepared a meal that will be enough for them for the weekend, after some hours, Yakubu and his friend came.

They repaired and serviced the generator and she gave them food.

Soon it was dark, Yakubu bought fuel that will last for two days, just incase they took the light.

It was 9:00 pm already, they were all cozy on the bed when they heard a knock at the door .

Yakubu Jumped from the bed ,hope is not your mum? ?

Episode five

I don’t post stories at weekend but because I had a very hectic day yesterday, so I decided to drop it today.
Bunmi was so afraid to come close to the door.
She hid Yakubu in their Cupboard.
Who is at the door? ?, she scre-med from a far

Its your neighbor, he said.
She quickly went to open the door for him.

Mr Ifeanyi hope no problem??
NEPA has brought light.
Oh thank you., I will quickly Switch over.

As soon as Mr Ifeanyi left I went to tell Yakubu and we switch over to NEPA.

I almost fainted in that Cupboard oh…Yakubu said
Why was the place stuffy??
No it wasn’t but I was afraid of what your mum will do to me if she finds me here.

Hmm I was so scared too that why I said we should lodge at the Hotel instead of my house.

Don’t worry I will leave first thing on Sunday morning.

Hmm ok, I don’t want my mum to see you, I hærdly see her angry, I don’t want to see her like that again.

My dad was a sailor ,he traveled a lot.
One day we were all at home when a strange woman came and told my mum to leave her husband’s house.

She came with her Son, who is all grown up, she claimed my dad married her first that she had been in London for years now.

Then my dad was at sea.
She started crying, my mum didn’t sleep that night. It was so painful another woman was looking for my dad and the must painful part is while he was pretending he doesn’t have money for years and my mum was like the bread winner .
He was sponsoring and taking care of other women.

What do you mean other women?
There was still others? ?

Yes even after his death, more women came looking for him with their children.

Hmm when my mum confronted him as soon as he got back.

Thank God my mum saved the other woman’s number.

She called her and she come with her child saying my dad stopped sending her money and she came to visit its been one year since they saw.

My dad even sponsored her Aboard and use to visit her yearly.
And my mum was pitying him and she was suffering & Struggling to earn a living.

It was so bad that she became so angry and told my dad to leave the house.

The was why your mum said she took other people Husband.

Its was so painful, she cried for days ,I felt bad for her. How can a man be this wicked she said in tears.

But after a while she recovered.
One day she was called and told that my dad had died.

How did he die? ?
What happened? ?

He went to a woman house one of his concubines and he slept and didn’t wake up.
She ran away and dey didn’t find her. But my mum couldn’t bear it and so she lied to everyone that he was ill and finally died . She later buried him and took it as her fate.

Yes she is, she was no happy that I got pregnant, I knew I disappointed her but I hope you won’t disappoint me too? ?Bunmi said

No dear , I love you so much, I can’t do without you. I have no other woman in my life, i have eyes for only you.

The next day was Saturday, they didn’t come out at all only to put on the generator.

Bunmi and Yakubu were just watching movies, eating & having s€× .

Its was night already they both went to bed.

The next day was Sunday.
Very early in the morning, they heard a knock on the door.

Who is there Yakubu asked with a loud voice.
Hmmm maybe its my neighbor again. But the generator is off.

Although Sarah called me that she was coming to see me this morning. .please open the door it might be her.
Bunmi said as she went to the bathroom.

Yakabu opened the door.
Behold it was mama Bunmi and Tinuke.

He was still wearing his boxer , he was so confused and ran back in,side the house.
