HER QUEST FOR REVENGE

CHAPTER 24🥀

Roxanna, Olivia, Suzy and Yvonne where at their studio, rehearsing for their next concert which will be next week.

🎶Oh oh oh oh oh🎶

🎶You and me it’s gonna be bam🎶

They all fell on the ground breathing heavily.

“Men, this choreography is brutal” Olivia said.

“Yeah” Yvonne said.

Olivia touched her l-ips as her thoughts drifted to the kss…

The rest looked at her suspiciously, she’s been doing that for some time now…

“Hey Oli, come back to earth” Yvonne said which jolted her out of her thought.

“Yes?” She said.

“You’ve been acting weird. Anything wrong?” Roxanna asked.

“Uh, no” She said.

“Liar” Yvonne said.

“No, I’m not lying. I just…”

Suzy began tickling her and she laughed loudly.

“I won’t stop till you tell us what you’re hiding from us. We’re best friends and best friends don’t keep secrets” Suzy said while tickling her…

“Okay…I’ll talk hahahaha” She said and Suzy stopped immediately.

Olivia sat up properly.

“Alright the thing is that last night, I was sleeping and I heard some noise in my room. I woke up ready to fight when suddenly in a flash, he pinned me on the wall. I tried freeing myself but he was too strong for me. He then began touching my body and surprisingly I…liked it. After some minutes we…we..kssed. I found myself responding to the kss. It was like I was in some sort of spell. He told me that he likes me, love at first sight but he can’t show himself to me because that will put me into danger. After that he left the same way he came. Can you believe I kssed a stranger? My first kss!!” She said and covered her face.

“Awwn so r©mantic!!!” The girls said at the same time.

Suzy began laughing. They all looked at her.

“Your story just reminds me of my second encounter with Rulian. Can you believe that the guy jumped in my window just to say thanks.” Suzy said chuckling…

They began laughing together.

“Talking about Rulian. Doesn’t he look so much like our second boss?” Roxanna said.

“Well he’s Rulian’s twin brother” Suzy said and they gasped

“Wow that’s cool” Yvonne said.

“So did you just kss or you did something else” Roxanna asked

“Hey we just kssed!!” She snapped and they laughed.

“So which one of you girls have already gone intimate” Suzy asked.

Yvonne coughed slightly and looked away.

“Don’t tell me you…” Olivia said and she nodded while blushing.

“Wow you’re so fast girl!!” Suzy said.

“So how is my brother, is he rough or gentle. Did he…” Olivia said but was cut short

“Shut up per.verts!” Yvonne cut her off

They all laughed loudly while holding their stomach….

Nathaniel was sitting on a seat in a club with his best friend Dylan, they were catching up all the time lost when Dylan was abroad.

Nathaniel was lost in thought….

“Hey, Nate, Nate.” Dylan called.

“Yeah.” He said still absent minded….

“Bro, what’s wrong? Ever since we came here you’ve been acting differently.” Dylan said.

“No men just that….I dont know, I keep having this feeling that Roxanna is in danger. I called her twice today and she told me that she’s perfectly okay” Nathaniel said.

“Can’t believe that she changed you completely, from a playboy to a worrywart” He said sipping on his drink.

*What’s Jenny up to?* He thought.

Nathaniel closed his eyes and reflected on what he’s seen so far.

*Jenny is in touch with agent R*
*Agent R is a secret agent*
*If agent R is a secret agent then that makes Jennifer one too*
*Agent R was shot on the foot and coincidentally Roxanna sprained the same foot*
*Jennifer is also close to Roxanna*
*And that R stands for….*

Those where the thoughts running in his mind

“Oh no, please don’t tell me you are” Nathaniel suddenly dashed out of the club heading to Roxanna’s studio.

“Men this guy is something else” Dylan said as he watched him run away…

Nathaniel parked carelessly in front of their studio and marched into the studio.

He saw Jennifer and the rest, seemed like they were exiting the studio

“Where’s Roxanna?” Nathaniel asked in anger…

“Wow calm down brother, you look like she will vanish…”

He gave Jennifer one angry look that was enough to shut her up

“She’s at the interview. At the Helens show” Yvonne said.

He nodded at her and looked back at Jennifer.

“We have a lot to discuss once I get back” He said and walked out of the studio.

“Jenny, what’s wrong with him” Catherine asked

“I don’t know”

Nathaniel parked his car and made to enter but he was obstructed.

“Sir, you can’t enter. An interview is going on” The bodyguards said.

“My girlfriend is in there, I need to speak with her” Nathaniel said

“You’ll have to wait” He said

Nathaniel sighed and went to the parking lot. He began packing to and fro, waiting for the time that she’ll come out.

“So Miss Roxanna Martinez, tell us more about you?” The interviewer asked

“Well I’m 18, well I’m an orphan. Both my parents are death. Well as you all know Nathaniel and I well we’re dating” She said with a smile.

“Wow that’s cool then” The interviewer said.

“Last question of the day. Are you agent R?” The interviewer asked.

“Well,,,uh I’m not” She replied flatly

“That brings us to the end of our interview”

The interview was ended and Roxanna had some few pictures with her fan before walking to the parking lot with her body guards behind her.

“Roxanna?” Someone called his name

She looked up and smiled when she saw Nathaniel face.

“Nate, what are you doing here, if I…”

She didn’t get to finish her statement as all her body guards were all shot. They fell on the ground, dead.

Roxanna stood at alert and quickly removed her gun, aiming at the place were she heard the gunshot.

Nathaniel stared at her not believing his eyes.

“So it’s true, you’re agent R” Nathaniel said

Two gunshots were heard and Roxanna’s eyes w¡dened in horror as she watched Nathaniel’s body drop to the floor.

“No, Nate!!” She said and made to run to him but someone hit her hærd on the heard.

She fell on the ground

“Nate…”She said before passing out.

“Jennifer!! You need to see this” Catherine said in panic.

They were at Jennifer house. They all walked to the television.

“Not long ago, gunshots where heard at the parking lot. The security rushed there and met the body guards who were guarding Roxanna, they were all lying lifelessly on the ground. Among these body, the superstar Nathaniel Davis was also found among them. He was rushed to the hospital and now is fighting for his life” The reporter said and they showed Nathaniel body as they rushed him to the hospital…

Jennifer knees gave up and she sat on the ground.

“No this can’t happen to my brother” She said as hot tears ran down her cheeks.

The door burst open and the boys ran in. Kelvin quickly rushed to Jennifer ans hugged her tightly.

“Now I understand why he was angry, he found out our secret” She said…

The girl’s phone beeped at the same time. They checked it and it Shadow (Ronald) who was summoning them for a meeting.

“Come quickly at our hideout and bring Rulian with you”

Suzy ached her brows as she read the message.

“Jennifer you stay back, your brother needs you the most. Rulian we have to go somewhere. As for the boys, we’ll explain everything to you once we get back” Suzy said and held Rulian’s hand as they walked out of the house.

They boarded the car and Yvonne drove madly to their hideout. They alighted the car and walked to the abandoned building.

They walked in it and took the elevator which took them to their hideout.

The elevator opened and they walked out of it heading to agent V office.

Rulian just stared with wide eyes. Never in his imagination will he think that such place exists.

They walked in the office and Rulian ached a brow as he saw his brother sitting at the head of the table.

“Have a seat everyone” He said.

They all took their respective seats.

“Rulian, I know you’re confused by what this place is. This is simply a secret company incharge of helping the police force in case things goes wrong. And meet our best agents. Roxanna is also among them as she’s the one you guys refer to as agent R” Ronald said.

Rulian mouth dropped to the floor as he saw them. These are the girls that hr used to see everyday as young and innocent girls, never will he imagine that they are among such an important org-nization. The most shocking part is that Suzy,,,his Suzy is also among.

“As you can see I’m their new leader, they know me as Shadow. I play two part in this game, the good part and the bad part. Our father was a drug lord and I’m very sure that it’s our uncle Hector who has Roxanna right now.”

“I didn’t want to get you involved in this mission but I’ll have to. Since you’re my identical twin, I’ll need you to play the bad part. You’ll have to replace me in their hideout and you’ll also communicate to us every details of where they’re keeping Roxanna right now. As for me I’ll join you girls in the fighting part, be prepared because anything can happen. This is my uncle we’re talking about and he’s very dangerous” Ronald said…

“Suzy, take Rulian to the makeup room, they’ll dress him just like me. And the rest go and prepare the wh0le army, we’ll be leaving in two hours time” Ronald said

Suzy held Rulian’s hand and walked out of the room. The rest went to prepare…

“Doctor we’re loosing him” The nurse said as they were extracting the bullet from Nathaniel’s body…

CHAPTER 25🥀

Roxanna slowly opened her eyes and hissed as she felt a sharp pain on her head.

She looked around where she was and noticed that it was a dark area. She tried moving but her hands were tied up in chain.

“What happened?” She whispered.

Memories of what happened began flashing in her mind.

Tears gathered in her eyes as she wept silently…

“Nate,,,,I’m sorry. It’s all my fault, I should have told you this earlier” She said while crying.

The door opened and someone walked in…

“Looks like you’re awake” Alec said while entering in fully.

“You bastard, you’ll pay for that. You coward!! Untie me and face me let’s see who will win. You’re just a pathetic coward” She spatted.

He grabbed her neck and pulled her closer to his face…

“Watch your mouth beautiful, remember you’re in my territory. I can do whatever I want with you, not like you’ll be able to get out of here alive anyway” He said.

His eyes traveled to her body and he licked his l-ips…

He grabbed her hair and slammed his l-ips on her, kssing her. She bite his l.ips and he let her go and bl.ood came out of his l-ips.

“You idi©t” He said and slapped her.

“Men!!” He said and two men walked in.

“You know what to do” He said and walked out of the room…

They picked up the wh¡ps. One of them lashed it on her back.

“Aargh!” She gro-ned in pains.

The other one wh¡pped her too. They both gave her 10 lashes before walking out of the room…

“Nate, please be okay. Fight for your life, please?” She said inwardly as the wounds they inflicted on her were bl.eeding.

She passed out…

Jennifer ran in to the hospital and headed to Nathaniel’s ward. She made to enter but was obstructed.

“The patience if still under surgery” The guards said.

She sat down on a seat while Kelvin sat down beside her holding her hand, trying to console her…

The other boys where pacing to and fro waiting for the doctor to come out.

After close to an hour, the doctor came out of the room. They all rushed to him.

“How’s my brother?” Jennifer asked.

“Your brother’s condition is stable for now. Two bullet was shot at him, one in the chest and the other in in the shoulder. He lost alot of blood. Right now blood is being transfused in his body. We can’t guarantee you that he’ll be fine for his condition is really critical right now” The doctor said.

“Can we see him?” Jennifer asked wiping off her tears.

“Yeah but one per person” The doctor said.

Jennifer nodded and walked in the ward.

She burst into fits of tears as she saw Nathaniel lying on the bed with the machine beeping silently.

She walked up to his bed and held his hand.

“Nate, I’m sorry. If I told you earlier, this wouldn’t have happened. We promised to never keep secrets from each other but I did, I broke our promise. Please wake up, let me apologize properly to you. Don’t leave mom and I just like dad did. Please wake up if not for me then for the love of Roxanna please wake up” Jennifer said and kssed his hand…

The machine began beeping crazily and Nathaniel began convulsing.

Jennifer stared at him in horror.

“Brother, Nate, Nate.”

She rushed out of the ward and called for the doctor who came almost immediately…

They began treating him, trying to restabilize his condition.

Jennifer stood in one corner watching them as she cried silently…

A car drove into the apartment of Hector and parked. Rulian who was disguised as Ronald came out of the car.

“I’m in the location. Now what?” Rulian said.

“There’s a door in front of you walk in and ask the guard to show you where uncle is?” Ronald said as he was monitoring the surrounding through Rulian. Rulian is wearing a camera on him together with an ear bud.

He followed Ronald’s instructions and walked into the door.

“Can I see my uncle?” He asked to one of Hector men.

They guided him the way.

“Now when you’re with him, engage a discussion with him that’ll make him tell you where Roxanna is” Ronald said and Rulian nodded.

Ronald looked at Catherine who was working on the computer beside him.

“Have you succeeded in tracking their location?” He asked.

“Yes boss” Catherine said.

“Cool, now send the location to the others” He said and concentrated back on Rulian.

Rulian walked into the room he was showed and immediately closed his nose as the amount of smoke in the room…

“Does this man know anything apart from smoking?” He thought.

“Uncle good afternoon” He said and took a seat in front of him.

“How’s my favorite nephew doing?” He asked with a smile.

“I’m good. I noticed you’re in a good mood today, mind sharing it with me?” He said with a smile.

“Well they was just this fly, small and insignificant. We captured her and now she’s at the basement, I’m happy because well you know how much I love inflicting pain on people” He said and brought his cigarette to his l-ips.

“Wow good then” He said.

They chatted for some time and then Rulian excuse himself. He looked behind if anyone was following him before going to the basement through the help of Ronald of course.

He made to open the door and it was opened his luck. He opened it and peeped out of it. His eyes w¡dened as he saw Roxanna tied up with chains, she had her head down and blood, her blood soaked her dress.

“We have to be quick before it’s too late” He said looking at Roxanna through the camera in Rulian.

“Poor Roxy” Catherine said looking at her too.

Rulian closed back the door and walked out of the area…

Alec was busy enjoying himself with women, too happy that he finally got to kill Nathaniel. The truth is that he’s super jealous of Nathaniel, he was actually the one who shot him.

The doctor walked out of Nathaniel ward.

They all stood up and walked to him. Nathaniel mother was now with them too…

“We succeeded in bringing him back again to the lands of the living but it’s still unstable. He’s in now in a coma state” The doctor said

Roxanna opened her eyes weakly. Her wounds have stopped bl.eeding but she’s still weak.

The door opened and a man walked in with food on the tray.

He dropped it on the floor and untied her…

“Eat” He said while watching her.

Roxanna sat in front of the food and ate hungrily.

“You’re lucky our boss is even feeding you” He said to her as she ate…

She finished eating and got a little bit of strength. She held the knife she was eating with and fidgetted with it.

She looked up at the man and saw an opportunity. She quickly stood up and $tabbed him on the stomach. She $tabbed him again, he fell on the ground.

She slowly began walking to the exit of the room. She walked out of it and looked left or right to see if someone was coming she slowly took a direction and began walking to it.

As she made to open the door she received a hærd knock on the head. She passed out immediately.

The man dragged her back to the room.

“This bch, you nearly killed me” The man said while holding his bl.eeding stomach.

He tied her up and walked outof of the room to get himself treated.

The girls together with all the troops where all ready. They recharged their gun and wore their masks.

Suzy turned to her mother…

“Mum, if this mission fails I want you to know is that I love you” She said.

Agent V hugged her, forgetting they are at work.

“Please be safe my child” She said.

“Can we go and meet Nathaniel before going” She asked

“Sure” Victoria said.

She nodded and walked out of the room together with the girls and the wh0le troop.

They drove to the hospital and their cars stopped in front of the hospital. The reporters, fans, journalist were all surprised to see them there.

They cleared road for them and Yvonne, Suzy, Olivia, and Ronald marched in the hospital with their masks on. Catherine stayed behind inorder to guide them…

Jennifer was sitting on a chair deep in thought when she heard some murmurs going on. She lifted her head up and was surprised to see her team there.

The girls walked up to her and hugged her tightly. The boys just stood looking at them confused…

“Aren’t these agent R troop?” Chris thought…

They broke the hug and Yvonne wiped off Jennifer’s tears.

“Stop crying, everything will be okay. He’ll be safe and we’ll save Roxanna that’s a promise” Olivia said.

Jennifer nodded and stood up at attention then saluted them. They saluted her too. Ronald just stood at one corner with his gaze not leaving Olivia.

The girls then turned to the boys and then slowly removed their masks. The boys gasped as they saw their real identity…

“Yvonne?” Mason said

Yvonne walked up to Mason and hugged him tightly.

“I don’t know if I might return back alive but just know that I love you till the end of time” She said as she buried her face in his chest…

He was still surprised to see her.

He looked down at her and cupped her cheek.

“Promise me you’ll be safe” He said as tears glistened in his eyes.

“I can’t promise you that” She replied and sniffed in her tears.

He leaned down and kssed her, she kssed him back like it was their last time.

They broke the kss and she cupped his cheek.

“Goodbye” She said and removed her hand from his before shifting away.

Olivia came forward and hugged Mason, his brother.

“I’m proud of you sis” He said

“Thanks so much brother. I love you” She said.

“Love you more” He replied.

They broke the hug

*Rulian, please be okay* Suzy thought.

They all said their goodbyes and then put on their masks before walking out of the hospital with people staring at them…

*Hector, be ready for you just messed with the wrong team* Suzy thought with determination burning in her eyes…
